The first 18 episodes could be said as rom com with normal summer dizi vibes but when the SCK phenomenon burst with the international audiences, it's slowly needed some dramatic plots to prolonged the dizi, which I think is normal for any well accepted Turkish series. But along with the drama, many fans who expected a purely,simple romantic summer series comedies were devastated but for the fair fans, these were understandable and still accepted the changes. Overall, the performance of all casts are tremendously good until today. They played their characters well and the SCK fandom didn't have a week left without commenting (good/bad) on each characters, plots or even the writers team. There are certainly some similarities with ALA,KA or EK but luckily, I would say in Season 2, the writers team is patching up the old traumas in S1 with gradual positive vibes. For those who just start watching this S1 SCK series, I would advise to have a clear mind from any expectation and just enjoy the flow of the series whatever good or bad (in your opinion) until the end. There would never be a 100% perfect Turkish summer series before and after SCK too. Do start viewing it with clear consciences.
