In recent years this porn video has virtually blanketed adult video stores with posters promoting it, and I'm sure it was a huge sales hit. With a cross section of beautiful XXX stars it delivers the goods and then some.
I've been watching a lot of 1970s classic (and not so memorable) porn movies on DVD of late, and the party line is that they were the Golden Age of story lines, and now it's all drivel. BABYSITTERS essentially puts the lie to that blanket cliché -it's designed in an all-sex format but has plenty of story setup material and much better acting than the average oldie.
With cartoon panel style transitions, the episodic structure limns the adventures of several babysitters, acting out fantasies in realistic settings. Video is bookended by segments involving Jesse Jane, probably the top-draw in the cast and quite fetching with pigtails as the jail-bait babysitter.
Both acting-wise and in terms of sexiness she is outshone by Nautica Thorn, scrumptious with glasses on, and fairly irresistible to a hard-to-please British-accented employer. Her natural bust is certainly a treat. Also all-natural is Sasha Grey, who more recently has advanced to the head of the class in popularity among porn starlets. She gets the gonzo assignment, servicing four studs at a birthday celebration for one of them.
What I enjoyed about BABYSITTERS is that it successfully straddled two genres, the popular MILF video as well as its underage-baiting premise title niche. Among the naughty housewives Nikki Benz (teamed with Jane in a good contrast) and Gina Lynn (opposite Shay Jordan) were literal standouts. A rather labored sequence of four silicone mamas getting the rough treatment by Sophia Santi (employing a strap-on and endless dildos) missed the mark for me, but certainly had fetishists in mind with its lesbian/anal emphasis.
Hi-def lensing by the director Robby D was well executed, and an upbeat musical score cemented this romp as a winner. I would love to find out the financial stats on such an enterprise; I guesstimate it was made on a substantial budget and undoubtedly grossed in seven figures from video sales over the past three years, with a big-ticket list price compared to the thousands of throwaway videos stocked nearby.
