I didn't see the very beginning of this documentary, but I did manage to see a great deal of how it talks about 2-D animation, CGI, stop motion animation, & foreign animation.
The main characters are a talking girl turtle, an animation historian/professor, and an average Joe. The professor provides all of the info on animation made from the past 100 years. Along with actual clips of those selected animated shorts and movies.
After seeing this on Bravo, it influenced me to try out animated cartoons from different countries. The downside is there's no public release of this documentary which is a shame cause anyone who likes cartoons of all kinds will enjoy this feature.
If you want to see a DVD for this Documentary, send an e-mail to Rembrandt Films and request it like I did.
