Take a worthless horror video/movie (that unaccountably was a huge hit for novelty value), spoof it without talent or humor, and then do a sequel and you've got rock bottom non-entertainment. Such is the genesis of this Seduction Cinema junker, cranked out when the video company was riding high on a wave of softcore porn.
Stressing improv, writer-director John Bacchus delivers a worse product than usual, which is saying plenty in his case. Using the awful innovation of BLAIR WITCH with its hand-held, first person video camera technique, he treats this as a license to be sloppy. Male cast acts stupid, while female cast members grope each other in mechanical soft X lesbian scenes which are anything but arousing.
Part of the problem is that Bacchus seems to think a pseudo-documentary approach will impress the viewer. So even during the desultory sex scenes he keeps cutting to the B camera with its timecode of December xx 2000 in the frame, making it all "real". This distraction is just part of the poor camera-work that renders erotic content unerotic. His ultimate goal is obviously to avoid closeups of vaginas, as that would still be softcore but is apparently verboten in this netherworld of tease. So the viewer, presumably drawn from a just barely pubescent male demographic, is treated to sort of full frontal nudity and going-through-the-motions kissing and licking of breasts.
A.J. Khan has to do the lion's share of "acting" and her ad libs are miserable. Superstar Darian Caine gets to overact since she's supposed to be a madwoman in a strait jacket, though lesbian sex seems to calm her down -you know, she can do this stuff in her sleep.
I was singularly unimpressed with token blonde Allanah Rhodes, latterly a bondage performer. The busty exotic named "Rio" juts her frontage effectively enough, but has evidently failed to eke out a screen career, though one IMDb-er tantalizing hints that her porn video titled BEHIND THE FORBIDDEN DOOR is hardcore, doubtful since it is a British release.
