      • A very funny joke scene between Fozzie and his snowman.
      • Rowlf playing the piano when he first arrives at the farmhouse.
      • Piggy singing "Home for the Holidays" when she's first brought to the farmhouse and slipping on the icy patch.
      • Statler and Waldorf's "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day".
      • When the Muppets watch the film strip of themselves as the Muppet Babies, the cute scenes of them singing and the adults complimenting on it were cut and it goes right to Animal bursting through the screen.
      • Mrs. Bear putting up Fozzie's stocking, Fozzie says he's too old for that stuff, but changes his mind and doesn't want her to take it down.
      • During the medley at the end, Kermit and Piggy sing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas".

    Jim Henson was truly one of a kind in the entertainent world.

    A Muppet Family Christmas is as wonderful as Christmas specials can get: it's got heart-warming imagery and characters whom celebrate the timeless traditions of Christmas together. Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Gonzo the Great and company all tag along to Fozzie's mother's house for Christmas eve. Along the way, the Sesame Street Muppets come along to join this gorgeous party and its charm is virtually bursting at the seams. And heck, even the Fraggles from Fraggle Rock join the party; this whole special is Henson-filled happiness through and through.

    From the mind of a man who knew no limits to his imagination, Jim Henson gave us entertainment comparable to Walt Disney himself. Even though Henson's gone, he still makes millions of people happy thanks to his Muppets. A Muppet Family Christmas is entertainment that just makes you feel incredibly happy: and that's how good Christmas specials should make you feel in the end.
