Dentist Richard Denning wants to go to Madagascar for a three month stint at his church's mission there. His wife, Evelyn Ankers (Denning real life in her last screen role) doesn't think it's a good idea, what with his practice and the children and all. After a presentation of a movie about the mission narrated by Art Linkletter, she reluctantly agrees; once there she discovers how rewarding the experience is.
It's one of the films made by various churches to spread their Christian messages in the post-war era. Here, with a thoroughly professional cast and crew, it moves along at a brisk, if heavy-handed pace.
