Fun but very silly ¨spoof¨ about a likable team who become clumsily awkward heroes for hire. Being an embarrassing and ridiculous parody to classic series : ¨A Team¨ created by Stephen J Cannell , Frank Lupo and John Ashley . In ¨El equipo Aahhgg (1989)¨shows up Coronel Aníbal : Antonio Ozores (who parodies A Team leader : Annibal Smith, George Peppard) as he disguises as a woman and a horse , Kimbo as M-30 ( like M. A. Baracus : Mr T), Máximo Valverde as Soldado Félix (like Félix Templeton Faceman : Dirk Benedict) and José Álvarez as Mudok (remembering "Howling Mad" Murdock , Dwight Schulz who was an expert but nutty pilot, and a certified lunatic) ,then they broke him out of a mental hospital. All of them are ex-members of a US Commando unit in the Vietnam War. Wanted by the police all over the world , they survive as soldiers of fortune. This time, they are going to help their old friend (Juanito Navarro) in his fight against another old colleague in NAM: ex-Sergeant Mulligan (Fedra Lorente) and her foreman (Daniel Martin) who are coercing to ex-Sergeant Mauriño to sell a horse from his stable .
Fun , entertainment , comedy and brief action with a bungling , inept team of ex-soldiers . It contains absurd situations , tongue-in-cheek , grotesque incidents and above all , humor . Although there are also bad-mouthed language , bad taste jokes and profanities . The disconcerting parody is continuous , hilarious , surrealist , absurd and being gross-out at times , but some moments here and there it is also amusing . This film is made to entertain , and this movie , especially for a good time and resulting to be a so-so entertainment . With an appropriate cast giving sympathetic interpretations , including dances and songs such as El Equipo Aag! Composed by Kimbo and José Truchado Jr . Humor , thrills , several agreeable characters and trademark Antonio Ozores effects abound and it will please the spoof lovers . There'are also some familiar faces appearing here and there , such as : Juanito Navarro of Mariano Ozores movies along with his brother Antonio Ozores , Fedra Lorente of 1, 2, 3 responda otra vez , Daniel Martín of several Paella Westerns , the famous playboy Maximo Valverde , Analía Ivars of Jess Frank films and the eternal , prolific secondary Rafael Hernández.
The motion picture was lousily directed by Jos Truchado .
