An entertaining and fun comedy set at a village where happens funny as well as grisly happenings . It deals with Justino : Fernando Fernan Gómez who marries beautiful villager : Emma Cohen . When arrives his nephew Paco Algora falls for the charming spouse . Meanwhile , they are advised by the old local witch : Mary Santpere by means of eliminate her husband . In order to get the fortune of his rich uncle the ambitious nephew and the wife scheme to murder Justino, but things go wrong .

It contains a catching musical score with attractive songs by Carmelo Bernaola . As well as evocative cinematography by Leopoldo Villaseñor , being newly remastered . The motion picture was competently directed by Fernando Fernan Gómez, and nowadays is considered to be a Cult Movie. This prolific and prestigious actor/director made some nice films as Lazaro de Tormes , Fuera de Juego, Mambru se fue a la Guerra , 5 Tenedores , 5.000 Dias Juntos , Ninette , Venganza de Don Mendo , Viaje a Ninguna Parte and El Extraño Viaje or Strange Voyage also written by Paco Beltran . The latter film along with this Bruja Mas Que Bruja share similar situation , a rural drama with killing , and both of them are deemed two Spanish Cult Movies
