Member of the 501st Legion, a worldwide all-volunteer Star Wars costuming club, and was elected as its international president in 2006. Doing charity and promotional appearances as Darth Vader, he also marched in the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade fronting 200 fellow-member stormtroopers. As president he served as the club's liaison with Lucasfilm Ltd. Mike Johansen is a member as well.
