Melanie got to read from the Oscar winning screenplay of Forrest Gump to her classmates when Eric Roth and Mykelti Williamson made an appearance at her high school that was normally more well know for it's fights and surrounding troubled neighborhood. That memory of them taking time for the students has always remained a cherished one for her.
