(early 80's) He first became famous for his portrayal of Memo, a youngster who helps people in need and causes troubles for the bad guys, in a daily photo-serial aptly named "Memo" in Turkey's then best-selling newspaper, Hürriyet. It became unexpectedly popular, and was followed by new adventures of Memo, and eventually a feature film. Memo didn't have any superpowers, but was smart, agile and practical. He always wore a red sweater with a large M printed on the front.
