Flirting with Forever is a fun, sweet, and tad bit angsty friends to lovers romance.

Natalie met best friends Cam and Jack when they were teens. The three of them became best friends and have stayed best friends ever since. Cam and Jack were both attracted to Natalie, but vowed to never go there. Neither one wanted to risk their friendships. Fast forward many years later, and things have changed.

Cam has always had feelings for Natalie, but lately, they’ve been stronger. And he’s starting to think, maybe she has those feelings for him, too.
As much as I want to deny it, I can’t hide from the truth any longer. I am full-on attracted to Natalie.

There is a lot of push and pull when it comes to these two. Cam tries really hard to keep his distance with these feelings, which only confuses Natalie more. So much of the book I spent hoping they would get together. I just knew when they finally let themselves be, it would be amazing. And it was.

I listened to the audio version of this book and it was narrated by two of my favorites, Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt. There isn’t much I can say about this duo that I haven’t said before. They consistently do an amazing job with every book they narrate and this is no exception.

Kendall Ryan is the queen of short, sexy, and sweet stories. This one fit that perfectly. If you’re looking for a great friends-to-lovers romance, I recommend this one!

Natalie fits me better than I could have ever imagined. And I did imagine. This is every fantasy I’ve had for the past few weeks, now come to life. And it’s better than any dream I’ve ever had.

FLIRTING WITH FOREVER is a fun and sexy friends-to-lovers romance. Over the years Kendall Ryan has become one of my favorite authors. I know more often than not, that when I pick up one of her books I’m going to be entertained for the next few hours. You’re always going to get an HEA with her stories and I doubt that anyone could find fault with that. I know I love a good fairy tale ending.

Cam, Jack, and Natalie have been the best of friends since their college days. Long ago, both Cam and Jack vowed that Natalie was "off limits" in order to preserve their close friendship. It’s never been a challenge for Cam to keep Natalie in the ”friend zone”, until he wages a bet with Jack. They have to go without sex for thirty days or else the loser has to do the winners laundry for a year.

It’s as if the universe is messing with him because Cam then starts to notice that he’s undeniably attracted to Natalie.

Cam tries to keep some distance between him and Natalie while he struggles with his newly discovered feelings for her. Natalie notices the distance that Cam has put between them and starts to question why it affects her so much. They inevitably give in during the heat of the moment but will these two put their friendship in jeopardy for the possibility of true love?

Flirting with Forever is your typical friends-to-lovers story about Natalie, Camden and Jack. They are longtime best friends and the guys really like Nat more than friends. You know the bro-code, both of them promised not to fall for their lady best friend and keep their feelings to themselves. However, Camden's attraction to her keeps growing. No matter how hard he resists, he just can't help it.

I like this book. The story was quick paced and cute. Definitely cliche but enjoyable. The ending was abrupt and I'm half satisfied with it. I wish it's more fleshed out. As always it's greatly narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber. You can never go wrong with these two audiobook narrators. Looks like Kendall Ryan is gonna be my go-to author if I'm in an impending reading slump.

I devoured this read faster than expected.

Normally friends to lovers doesn’t interest me as it is too sweet and often with very little angst or drama. But, Kendall Ryan made me realise that maybe sometimes friends to lovers is good.

In standard KR fashion, she’s delivered a heartwarming story, filled with realistic situations and understandable characters that will leave you swooning and blushing in absolute delight.

“How did I miss this entire chapter of my life, waiting so patiently for me to turn the page?”

Camden and Natalie have been best friends for years, but they’ve never crossed that invisible line. When Cam and Jack, another close friend, make a pact to stay away from women, Cam is finding it difficult to resist Natalie. She’s intelligent. Caring and genuine beyond belief.

But when new feelings begin to surface, confusion starts clouding their minds. And everything becomes more complicated than they expected.

I had two issues with this, preventing me from rating this higher: the ending felt rushed. I would’ve preferred something lengthier, allowing readers to enjoy Cam and Natalie. I also felt Jack’s feeling towards this could have created greater contention, but then this wouldn’t be light contemporary reading, would it? (ignore my nitpicking attitude).

Overall, if you’re interested in friends to lovers romance that is airy, fairy, light and bright, then you will enjoy Flirting with Forever.

Sexy, smart, and charmingly entertaining!

Flirting with Forever is a witty, engaging friends-to-more romance that features the sinfully delicious, swoon-worthy Cam whose finding it harder and harder to keep his attraction for his best friend a secret, and the intelligent and focused Natalie who may finally realize that everything she’s ever wanted or needed has always been standing right in front of her.

The writing is lighthearted and fun. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are generous, kind, and affable. And the alluring plot is the perfect blend of heart, humour, heat, drama, sassy dialogue, exquisite chemistry, steamy tension, unconditional friendship, and true love.

I would have to say that Flirting with Forever is one of my favourite reads of the year. I loved the characters, I loved the chemistry, and I loved the story. It has everything you look for in a rom-com and more!

Thank you to InkSlingerPR and Kendall Ryan for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Appealingly sweet, sexy and delightful. Kendall Ryan is a stalwart wordsmith in the romantic comedy genre and Flirting With Forever is a great addition to her collection that gushes with charm and slow-burning steaminess with a story about three best friends who can’t fathom changing anything about their decade long bond, but after a night of one too many drinks deeper feelings come afloat and their friendship will change forever.

Natalie loves Cam and Jack equally, they’ve been best friends since college. The main reason they were able to form this bond way back then was because both Jack and Cam promised to keep Nat in the friend zone. It had never been a problem for Cam, but after all this time he’s starting to be aware of her in a not so friendly way. To make matters worse, he and Jack made a bet to stay celibate for a month.
“At the age of sixteen, Jack and I swore a blood oath that Natalie was off-limits, and since then, I've never even let myself see her that way before.”

Winning the bet isn’t a problem for the pediatrician who volunteers most of his spare time and plays hockey the rest. But in order to keep his long ago promise, Cam starts distancing from Nat which in turn makes her aware of him. She’s always seen him as his rock, the person she turns to help solve her problems, but now she’s looking at him like his her knight in shining armor and she’s scared. Will they risk their long standing friendship? Could the perfect person have been standing right in front of them the entire time?
“How did I miss this entire chapter of my life, waiting so patiently for me to turn the page?”

Flirting With Forever is a cheerful story that kept me smiling widely throughout. It’s a best friends to lovers contemporary romance with a slight forbidden undertone and wonderful balance of sweet and sexy. It’s a light, easy to read. Told from both points of view with a happy ending.

Flirting With Forever by Kendall Ryan is a sweet sticky as molasses friends to lovers romance. There is just something about two friends realizing that they are forever meant to be that makes my heart flutter and having me smile like a fool. Cam and Natalie’s story is a reminder that sometimes we don’t have to look far and sometimes the best things are right in front of you. So if you are looking for a romance, that had a little angst thrown into the mix but was filled with lots of tender and sweet moments then this is the book for you.

I absolutely love friends to lovers stories. This one was no exception. I love the added twist of there being three people who are best friends. Two guys and one girl. And the two guys made a pact right after meeting said girl that that you would never go after her romanticaly. Once things started to heat up between cam and Natalie, I knew it was only a matter time before things blew up with her friend Jack. I didn’t anticipate it being right after their first night together… But c’est la vie.

I was pleasantly surprised though, I was expecting a long drawn out separation because Jack just couldn’t deal with the fact that Cam and Natalie wanted to be together, and then he’d have this huge revelation that they’re miserable without each other and he shouldn’t stand in our way… But that’s not what happened, and I’m happy about that. Jack, along with everyone else (or so he says) knew that Cam and Natalie we belong together. And while he never really says but what upset him was that they hid it from him, I’m just gonna go with that.

I will admit, that I wish there had been a little bit more of a build up to their feelings. Because they are friends at the start of the book and all of a sudden Cam starts becoming jealous of the new guy that Natalie was set up with. And then he starts seen her in a romantic way, and he’s attracted to her… And it’s only after he makes a move on her that she starts thinking of him differently. And it was just a very quick jump from denial of feelings to being in love with each other. There was no gradual realization it was just very sudden.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There wasn’t a whole lot of angst or unnecessary drama. It was a great friends to lovers story. I definitely recommend it.

This was lighter than expected. It had a similar feel to it as Lauren Blakely's work (and she writes a lot of friends-to-lovers romance), but it had (even) less depth. I did mostly enjoy it, as I liked both leading characters, that the hero was the first to developing feelings (but, contrary to what the blurb says, they weren't there since forever!) and how supportive they were of each other, but it didn't go much beyond the surface, especially when they start getting together (with that it's mostly just sex).

Seriously, Kendall at her best! Cam and Natalie have been part of a best friend trio, with their buddy Jack, for years. As Jack's playboy ways leave him broken-hearted, he and Cam strike up a celibacy bet. Cam's got this easy since his job is practically his life. But the unexpected weight to this bet, Cam is seeing Natalie in a new light, and its an attractive one. A few drinks and a heavily stressed and down Natalie turns into Cam showing her how good he is with his hands. A now Cam wants more and more. There's just one problem....he also made a deal with Jack when the were teenagers that Natalie would always be off limits. Does he risk his heart or his friendships?

I absolutely LOVED Cam; he may be one of Kendall's hottest heroes. The connection between him and Natalie is SIZZLING off every page. Not only does their friendship seem so effortless but as they discover the more intimate moments between themselves, they make a stronger bond. Though their friendship has been strong for years, the romance is definitely a slooooow burn. But trust me, readers, it is well, WELL worth the wait. Cam isn't afraid to dive in to what they could have and as they sneak around the two fall harder and harder for one another.

I can't quite explain how easy it is to read this romance. Everything flows so well together and all the pieces are believable and relatable as a reader. The slow burn never fizzles out; it's the perfect speed for two friends who discover they could be more. And then they have to discover how they feel about that revelation. For Cam, it's been a deep desire he's buried beneath that friendship. For Natalie, there's more to love than just sex and she's not sure of the risk of losing friendship of two men she's known for years. All around heartwarming and entertaining. Filled with sexy, intimate moments and heartfelt relationships all around!

Natalie, Cam and Jack have been best friends since high school. They know each other so well, it's like they're the three musketeers. After Jack gets his heart broke, he and Cam decide to make a no-sex-for-30-days pact. The loser has to do the other's laundry for a year. Cam thinks he can outlast Jack but it all comes crashing down on him when he starts to have serious lustful thoughts about his other best friend, Natalie. His feelings bloom into full-blown love and it's killing him. She's killing him with her soulful eyes and her luscious body. He can't make a move on her or it will destroy the rock-solid friendships that matter most to him. But the more he keeps his distance, the more Natalie suspects there's something wrong. His self-control breaks down and he gives in. Has he just ruined everything or is he Flirting With Forever?

I'm a huge fan of Kendall Ryan and this one has got to be her best romance to date. Friends to Lovers romance is my favorite trope and Ryan kicks up the heat in Flirting With Forever. Told from dual POV, I whipped myself into a frenzy reading it. Cam and Nat melted me heart and I totally kept rooting for them. "Go for it! You're just denying yourselves pleasure." Yeah I know, I must be crazy.

The best part about this romance has got to be Cam. He's a sexy as sin male who is patient, caring and knows what Nat needs before she even does. He understands her and comforts her.

Okay, so I started reading this a little but it didn't grab me and the promise of other books on my 'to-read' pile kept distracting me. So, I put this down for a second to just, you know, peruse the blurbs of the books-in-waiting, and I ... never got back to this one.
Honestly, I can't even remember what it was about.
Not even a little.
It might be something about flirting with a gym instructor called Forever? I'm just going by the cover here though and you know what they say: "Don't judge the marketing stock imagery, especially if it contains abs and a symmetrical jaw line."

Flirting With Forever isn't the first friends-to-lovers romances that I have read this year, but I think it's one of my favorites. Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down! Cam, Natalie and Jack have been best friends for ages. Cam and Jack realized Natalie was a beautiful woman early on, so they made a pact never to cross the friendzone with her. But what happens when Cam starts developing feelings for Natalie? Will he risk losing his best friend to be with the other best friend?

Kendall Ryan does what she does best, writing amazing romances! Cam is such a lovable character! He's a pediatrician. A guy that's good with kids, always scores points in my book! He's sweet, protective and even walks Natalie to her car in the evening. Cam definitely found a spot on my bookboyfriend list.

I loved Natalie's character as well. She never really felt like she fit in growing up and wants her own life and not what her parents want from her. I can't imagine what it's like feeling like that, but even though she comes from money, she works hard to get her career going. She would love to fall in love and start a family, just doesn't seem to work out for her.

What I saw of Jack, I loved. He seems like an interesting character. The fact that Cam and Jack make a pact not to hook up with any women for a month, haha. The hilarious part of this pact is that the loser has to do laundry for a year. Out of everything they could think of, laundry? Hilarious, haha.

Flirting With Forever is filled with great friendships, humor, romance, some sexy times and very lovable characters. Kendall Ryan hasn't disappointed me yet. I love seeing a friendship develop in to so much more. Some characters are really just meant to be together! I hope she writes more of these books! Then again, I like all the tropes she writes, haha.

This was a fun, quick best friends to lovers read that I pretty much devoured in no time. It was sweet, smexy and though it was low on angst it had a good dose of the characters battling themselves to keep things interesting from the first page til the very end.

I loved Camden and Natalie. Both are good people with good hearts who are both doing what they love and living their best lives. Their friendship is rock solid. It’s the kind where they pretty much know each other inside and out...at least when it comes to being friends. Watching as they both struggle with their changing feelings towards each other was a combination of fun and frustrating, though things did fall more on the fun side of the coin (which was very nice) and with the added issue of the “oath” thrown into the mix, things took a little longer to get going, but once they did, it was all kinds of smexy, sweet and swoon worthy and I loved where they were at in the end.

I must say that I love that Ms. Ryan kept things simple with this friends to lovers romance. Yes, there is a lot of hemming and hawing, but it was done well and it kept me turning to pages in anticipation of when one of them would cave. The little twist thrown in was a fun one that I didn’t expect, but worked very well in the context of the story. But, with Cam and Natalie paired up, I am crossing my toes that Jack gets his own HEA at some point in the future!

Rating: 4.5/5

This is Kendall Ryan’s hottest book to date, Flirting with Forever is the prefect friends-to-lovers romance that will certainly leave you wanting for more. After knowing each other for fifteen years, Camden, Jack and Natalie have been best friends ever since they met in sophomore year of high school. They have all been through ups and downs, but they’re always there for each other no matter what. When Jack gets his heart broken, he swears off women and Camden doesn’t believe he’ll keep his word so Jack proposes a bet in return. They will need to stay away from women for a month and the loser will do the winner’s laundry for a whole year. Camden agrees on the bet without thinking about the consequences that will ultimately follow. Without realizing it he starts to see Natalie in a different light and he is not sure what do about his new found feelings for her.

Natalie has always been there for her friends and when she senses that Camden is acting different around her she starts to wonder why. It’s his actions that get her to think about him more and she is not having friendly thoughts about him. She is attracted to him, just like any other woman would, but her feelings are changing. She no longer sees the teenage guy that she met in biology class, but the man that he has become. Natalie knows that if she tells him how she feels he may not feel the same, but when things get carried away all bets are off and she decides to give in without thinking about the events that would follow. Now it’ll be up to them to decide if risking losing a friendship is worth it in the end or not.

Kendall Ryan knows how to deliver a great romance story and this was no different. I loved the main characters and the interactions that they have with the rest of the characters in the story. Figuring out what to do with their new-found feelings for each other is just part of the whole book. Natalie has been through a rough childhood and she is still figuring out where she belongs. On the other hand, Cam is worried about Jack’s feelings getting hurt after they swore that Natalie was off-limits. They both don’t want to hurt Jack, but the more time they keep their relationship a secret the more close they get. Cam is such an over-protective guy that is charming and sweet. He knows Natalie very well and he understand her on a deeper level. I do wish we could have seen more of Natalie’s relationship with her family more, that part felt a bit rushed to me. But all in all, the story was short and simple filled with lots of passionate scenes and the ending fit them so well. I would highly recommend reading this story and any others by the author. You will not regret it! :)

“How did I miss this entire chapter of my life, waiting so patiently for me to turn the page?”

I know I might say this A LOT with this author but Flirting with Forever just might be one of my all time FAVORITES from the amazing Kendall Ryan! This best friends-to-lovers story had me absolutely GIDDY from page one. It was fun, flirty, sexy, and oh so romantic! I couldn’t put it down! Cam and Natalie were an absolute DELIGHT! I enjoyed the ease of their friendship, as well as, the complications that come with wanting more. I loved being inside Cam’s head when he was struggling with his growing feelings for Natalie. I loved being inside Natalie’s head when she would talk so fondly about what a great guy Cam is. These two were a match made in heaven…they just didn’t know it yet.

In my mind, Cam is the ultimate book boyfriend. He gives you all the feels in all the right places. He’s sexy, sweet, genuine, and just an all-around GOOD GUY. I wanted nothing more than to dive into this world, grab on, and NEVER let go. This is the feeling I get every single time I lose myself in a Kendall Ryan romance. It’s pure happiness. It’s everything.

Flirting with forever was a fun and sexy story that is synonymous with Kendall Ryan. It was heartwarming, emotional and full of real, likeable, magnetic characters. I was hooked from the start and could not get enough of this story.

Gah! When this author puts her amazing spin on standard tropes, what you get is so fantastic and unexpected, you legit are consumed right away. I loved Cam and Natalie. They were honest, down to earth and full of delicious sexual tension that I've come to love in books by this author. When roommates and bestfriends Cam and Jack make a pact to steer clear of women, Cam could never have expected that he would become interested in their mutual best friend, (and third musketeer to their trio), Natalie, and start picturing her as his forever girl especially when the bet starts getting in his way of making a move!

Gah!! This story was so delicious!! I loved the sexy banter between Cam and Natalie and the blisteringly hot sexytimes. I loved that their connection was hot but emotional as well. All in all, this was fantastic and I look forward to more from this author! 4 stars! ~Ratula

Who can resist a best friends to lovers romance? Not me, that's for certain! I absolutely adored the build up to Cam and Natalie's full blown romance. It was so much fun watching them realize that there was something more than friendship to their feelings. So much more than just the usual hang out as friends thing they've been doing for ten years.

Cam knew he loved Natalie since he laid eyes on her—but that pesky deal with Jack when they were teens made him reel in his feelings. Burying them deep down inside until he just couldn't hold back any longer.

And Natalie. Jeez, woman, open your eyes! It was super fun seeing her try to figure out how to maneuver through the friendship she'd built with Cam and Jack and moving to a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with Cam while not ruining their "Three Musketeers" friendship.

Flirting With Forever is full of fun, witty, snarky, sexy banter. And a whole lotta swoons! ~ Missy, 4 stars

When they were 16-years old, Cam, Jack and Natalie became best friends—the three musketeers—and now 13-years later, they’re still thick as thieves. Despite their busy lives, the three of them always make time for each other and none of them could imagine life without their friendship.

But Cam’s been hiding a secret that he worries could ruin his friendship with Jack and Natalie. Cam’s been harboring romantic feelings for Natalie—he may even love her. She’s independent, confident, funny and everything Cam could ever want. But he worries that if he’s honest with her, Natalie will be pushed away. And so he does what he does best, keep pretending they’re just friends.

At 29-years old, Natalie wants more than anything to settle down and start a family. She’s ready to stop dating and fine “the one.” But Natalie has had poor luck with dating, always wondering where she went wrong. So she’s surprised when she starts seeing Cam in a more romantic light. Cam’s the perfect boy-next-door. He’s a pediatrician, for crying out loud—his life’s work is to help kids. But Natalie is convinced that Cam wouldn’t be interested in her as more than friends, considering he hasn’t made moves on her since they met.

So when Natalie and Cam realize their not-so-platonic feelings are mutual, they cannot keep their hands off each other. But they sneak around, fearing that when Jack finds out about them, their friendship will be ruined. Being together is risky, but the best things in life are always worth the risk.

Flirting with Forever by Kendall Ryan is a short and sweet friends-to-lovers romance. This story was light-hearted and overall a lot of fun. Both Natalie and Cam are such likable characters. I wish we had learned more about each their pasts, to create more depth, but I still enjoyed getting to know them within the present story. I also really liked their friend, Jack, and I hope Kendall Ryan tells his story in the future! Definitely pick this one up if you’re in the mood for an easy, romantic comedy—4/5 stars.

Oh boy! Can I get a Cam for Christmas? I'm pretty sure he's my favorite Kendall Ryan hero to date (and trust me, it was stiff competition with Hunter from Mister Tonight). The sweetly sexy pediatrician won my heart early on with his steadfast loyalty and devotion to his two best friends. I really liked Natalie too, but Cam is definitely my fave in this couple. I appreciate that the blurb is sort of a misdirect - after the first chapter I could not help but question the sanity of any character that allowed a simple bet to get in the way of an attraction that strong and the possibility of real love - so it was nice to see that Cam's reticence to get involved with Natalie is a bit deeper than a wager. This was a sexy slow burn that I was not expecting and did not want to end. In fact, I would have been ecstatic to get at least 50 more pages so that we could get to know the characters better and perhaps develop their relationship even further! Be that as it may, I thoroughly enjoyed Natalie and Cam's story and I look forward to Dear Jane and learning about their football player college friend! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

OH Mi Gosh! I just love Kendall Ryan’s stories. This one is a super cute, charming, sexy friends-to-lovers romance. Camden, Jack, and Natalie have been the inseparable three musketeers for years but they never dare to cross the line to something romantic, fearing they would lose the strong friendship bond. Cam and Jack made a pack since the first day they laid eye on Natalie that neither of them will pursue Natalie romantically. Now that they are all grown adults Cam started to have feelings for Natalie and it is becoming harder to resist her. Natalie also noticed the subtle changes between her and Cam. She never looked at Cam beyond her best buddy until now. All the sudden Cam is a whole lot more gorgeous, sexy and irresistible devoted doctor. Man! The sexual tension and the attraction between Cam and Natalie is off the chart. Sucks to want something you cannot have!!! I love everything about this book – the characters, the incredible chemistry, the banters, the sexual tension and the light-hearted plot. Sometimes, I just crave a little heartwarming, flirty, low drama rom-com and this book totally did it for me. Short and sweet and delicious!

4.5 Delis Stars!

I’m really enjoyed his book!! I love a good friends to lovers story! The surprise of feeling something more for the friend you never saw that way. The realization that your friend has been in front of you this whole time. And all you had to do was look up. I love it.

I really liked how this book was a slow burn. We got to see how Cam was struggling in the beginning with his feeling for Natalie. It was like someone flipped the switch and he was really seeing Natalie in a different light.

And I think too Natalie was just as confused with her feelings as well. She was getting those little Butterfly feelings in her stomach.
I loved how when they finally got together it was so explosive! They both felt everything on a whole different level!

I wish we had a little more at the end. If them just being a couple. But overall enjoyed it.
This was a good read! And I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!

Flirting with Forever by Kendall Ryan
“Friends to lovers, 5 stars”
Ryan gave us a quick story involving two best friends who one day say screw it and give each other a chance romantically. But there’s a catch, they have another best friend and will them starting a relationship mess up the three amigos? Flirting with Forever was sweet and a quick read. It nailed the head for me trying to come out of a book hangover.
Camden made a promise to Jack when they were teenagers that they would never make a move on their best friend Natalie. Well years later he’s starting to think screw it and finally make a move. It’s almost like he’s opened his eyes for the first time in years and he’s seeing her as the woman she is.
Natalie has always loved both Jack and Cam, but Cam a little more. He’s usually the one she calls on. Then for some reason things start to change and lingering glances happen. Will she be able to tap down on her feelings for Cam or will she put their friendship on the line and make a move?
