So! This book has everything that I ever look for in a well-written romance. I got to read about loveable main characters in detail. I got a complete character sketch of them! I knew about their core nature, I knew where they stood in terms of their relationship, I knew what they truly felt for the other half of the couple. It doesn't hurt that they were both strong, clear characters. Even though the indecisiveness or uncertainty in one of the MCs drive up a plot, in this case, not having to be on a contant state of being on edge to see what was going to happen was a real relief.
The Roman family is really great. I bet everyone dreams of having a family like that. Dylan and Gray were very amiable characters. I liked them right from the start only. Even though the plot wasn't anything unique, the way the authors worked on it is what made it interesting. It aas actually becoming hard to stop the pages from turning after being ravished! ;-)
There were only a handful of typos, the punctuation wasn't perfect, but still good. And I got to find out whom the next book is going to be about. ;-P So a great read, overall.

It was alright. Nothing spectacular. I hated the separation though and I never really felt like they were mates because of it. I also didn't like how the brother's mate thing went. Shouldn't he be grieving? I felt like it was glossed over.

This was an ok read, but I have a few niggles. I liked the "mate" "mine" aspect. I will admit to not being a true fan of A/B/O dynamics because of the consent issues that tend to come with them. This didn't really go there as much, but it was touched on. There were a few dangling threads that I don't know if they will be dealt with in later books or just forgotten.
My main problem really has nothing to do with the main story line. MC Dylan mentioned on more than one occasion his "light eating" that he used to control his weight. It was really almost like a throw away comment, but each time it was said the context really came across as someone with an eating disorder. Maybe it's just me. I just felt like that shouldn't have been brought up if it wasn't really a part of the story and going to be dealt with. Like I said, it was almost casual as though missing meals for days on end is just what you do to lose and/or control weight?!?! The casual nature of the comments tossed me right out of the story each time.
I would consider possibly reading the next book in the series, but I will watch out for throw away comments about weight. I just feel like those type comments are not appropriate unless the story will actually deal with it.

This was an awesome book that should not be overlooked!! Dylan is a very sweet omega and Gray is the cold alpha that is not in any way looking for love, but they both unexpectedly find it with each other. Their story was so good and felt so real, I needed tissues at times. These two definitely were meant for each other. The Roman family is amazing and I can't wait to read more about this family!

I can't give this book more than 3.5⭐, even though I love the characters, I love this Omegaverse and damn it, it appears I love Mpreg!
I've already read Reece and got to see the characters a little bit and decided to go straight to this book.

This series is about the Roman family, a very wealthy family of entrepreneurs, run by Lionel Roman and his three sons, Reece, Gray and Jayce, all 4 of them being Alpha .
Gray is all about business, he's a very serious and held-back Alpha , who's working very hard and a lot and has an icy exterior. His father buys out a company that's an Omega strip club and the business isn't running very smoothly, but Lionel is also worried that Omegas working there aren't treated well, so he sends Gray to check things out.
This was my Gray.
Gray goes undercover and meets Dylan, a server and a college student , who's living alone, trying to finish college and make ends meet. He has a terrible boss, Neil, who's constantly on his back and the job itself isn't exactly what he wants to do, with other Alphas always groping him.
This was my Dylan.
Gray imprints on Dylan and they have sex, but here is where everything went downhill for me a little bit . Miscommunication, god how I hate it!
They spend so much time trying to reach each other by involving other people and facing certain situations that could be completely avoidable, especially for a very rich Alpha, that can fly anywhere at anytime and get some answers.
So many things were missing , I really wanted to know more about imprinting, about the way things work in this Omegaverse, about the history of the Roman family, I felt like the story was a continuation of a previous book, where everything was already explained, but that book doesn't exist.
It's a short book, I get it, but still, I very much wanted more information.
I kept waiting for Neil to get a lesson for being so nasty to Dylan, but that never happened.
The development of the relatioship was very insta, which is understandable, since it's imprinting, but that needed to be milked a little bit more, for me as a reader to really feel the importance and depth of their connection.
It breaks my heart to rate it so low, because I really liked the writing and the ideas, the couple is very memorable and the ending is good, but for my taste, this needed much, much more chapters.
❤️I've already read Reece and Jayce at this point, so I can honestly say that Gray and Dylan are my favorite couple in the series.

I have become a big fan of LC Davis, so I was definitely interested in trying this new story out that collaborates with a new-to-me author.
Dylan is a sweet omega working a crappy job to help pay his way through college so he can have a career, and Gray is the "I don't ever want a mate or love" alpha who, of course, imprints and falls head over heels for Dylan.
I thought that they were sweet together, had great chemistry, and I enjoyed getting to meet Gray's family. I enjoyed that there was some conflict and things for the two to work out, and I enjoyed this one. I will definitely be interested in future books in this series!

This one seems like a AU teen wolf fanfic, with poor omega waiter and a rich alpha businessman. Half way through turned into these old Romances where the poor secretary/waitress turns up pregnant from one sexual encounter followed by misunderstandings.
Did not have lot of emotional depth.

3.5 stars, rather liked this one! This is a short book but whats impressive to me is its well written. I like a book that isn't mangled, that was clearly edited or at least read through a time or two, and doesn't insult the reader. Having said that, there is insta love (I'm talking by the second date ppl) and contrived misunderstandings but I didn't mind it too much. What I didn't like was killing off the wife of one of the brothers and I will bet dollars to donuts that brother gets his own book down the road. Don't kill off a sweet sympathetic character doggone it!
Anyhew, I will be checking out more by this author, pretty good stuff!

I really did enjoy his story for the most part. My only complaint I have is a point that another reviewer brought up. At certain points within the story I felt that the two MC's could have been switched out to be M/F instead of M/M. Other than that the chemistry, flow and plot was nicely done.

Unexpected!
This was actually a really good read. I loved the concept of going undercover, however, I will say it wasn't truly an undercover mission. The misunderstandings were something that was believable and not over the top. I liked that both characters learn and grow. A bit of sadness in the mix and a well rounded story. Headed for part 2.

I read this book once but didn't remember much of it, once I re-read it I knew why: there's nothing mind-blowing about this book. Very mellow, not much of drama and the 'love' moves very, very quickly. Like they know each other for two days and said some random words yet the author jumps them on a bed and love is in the air. I was like .... talk about jumping on the boat asap. I did enjoy Dylan's personality a bit and the main idea of the plot didn't have much backbone.

This book had the potential to be good, but in the end it fell flat on its face. I did enjoy the first part of the book, the build up. Watching Dylan and Grey's relationship build, watching Dylan struggle with his job, eating disorder, creepy boss, and school was all really promising. I wanted some drama, some angst, maybe a show down with the creepy boss. But it's like there was no climax at all.
After Dylan and Grey hook up, Dylan ends up pregnant. And this is where the book goes down the tubes. Dylan stops working at the bar, the bar gets shut down and the creepy boss is never heard from again. They move to California and live happily ever after. This is not what I wanted or expected. The book skipped all the good stuff to skip to the end. I don't want to read about them in domestic bliss, I want to read about them figuring out how to make their relationship work, dating, getting to know each other. All the stuff that comes BEFORE the domestic bliss and the babies.
The last portion of the book was heavily dedicated to Grey's family members who I just really don't care about at all. I didn't pick this book up for them. All in all, this book was just wasted potential. It focused on all the wrong stuff, in my opinion, and it left me feeling more frustrated than anything else. 2 stars.

Nice read
This was a nice read, so I’m giving it a very strong three stars. I liked the characters for the most part.

This book had so much potential. It was a good read as in quick and sort of entertaining. The first half was good, when the two MCs meet once and then they're away from each other and I never knew that that was actually for the best of the book until they met each other again. The book was basically insta love, so the second they met again it was all I love you's which I didn't like. What disappointed me the most was that the whole shapeshifter idea was just the base of the story/world, but the writer didn't do much with it other than that. There are alphas and they are higher ranked and omegas who are basically the lower class and sometimes smell and urge to bite was mentioned, but no one shifted, no one fought, no one got killed.

The writing style is naive, very girlish.
The characterisation is actually okay even though it's quite cliche, what with each character seeming to adhere to a defined role.
I actually can't remember buying the book, and having only read one other MPREG book I have at least confirmed that it's definitely not my preferred genre even if it is a romance.
If you are a fan of the genre and can ignore the poor editing you will probably like the book. Be aware there are some MM sex scenes.

I'm not usually a fan of non-paranormal A/O but this was sweet. It's very insta-love but I did enjoy them getting to know one another and supporting each other in the second half of the book. A few things definitely got lost like Dylan's eating disorder and Neil not getting his comeuppance. Also, there were maybe some weird time jumps? Babies do not sit in high chairs at only a few weeks old so either it was a mistake or more time passed than I thought or maybe babies in this world grew faster? Meh, it's worth a read if you enjoy this genre and have KU.

I think this book came to me with good timing. It's just the sort of thing I want on one of those days were you are just weary, and tired to the bone.
I do like the alpha and omega traditional story, and that's what this is. It doesn't really veer off that. Combine that with the Billionaire and the student working his way through school.
It was a comfortable read, but not something that will stick with me. But that is not necessarily a bad thing. It was perfect on a day I just wanted comfort and easy.

The first half was not bad, not bad at all. The second half was :( I didn't like the story, nor did I like (or excuse) Gray's disappearing act. I didn't care for Gray at all to be honest, he was a typical rich alpha with no depth. Dylan who was strong and fierce in the first half, turned into sweet pudding in Gray's arms, someone with no mind of his own, the standard sweet omega, ready to provide emotional and physical relief to the macho alpha in his life who would take care of all his troubles onwards. Not my cup of tea, sorry.

I couldn't read my first choice but I fell into this one. It was a quick read and entertaining but could have been better. Editing issues, which I hate. This follows the alpha and omega typical story line but again I liked Gray and Dylan and the set up. Gray goes "undercover" into a business his father just bought and meets Dylan and passion explodes and Dylan gets pregnant. Of course they are mates.

I already loved LC Davis's work, so I was excited for this new collaboration. And I am not disappointed-this was a sweet Alpha/Omega romance with fun situations and lovable characters. I look forward to the next entry in the series!

But, but, he's a MAN- how does he give birth?!?! I love an M/M alpha and omega story, I love a wee bit of angst and miscommunication can be fun. But he got PREGNANT then gave birth?! Nope, I'm sorry- I just don't get it. Plus it was pretty cheesy at the end. Not my bag I'm afraid.
