I got this book not with the intent to teach Colton how to swim but to teach him a few basic moves so that he can enjoy being in the water more. I really liked this book and found it to be very helpful. Colton can now kick his legs and isn't scared of his head going under the water. I'll put him in swimming lessons in a few years but I like that he is much more confident in the water now. With a vest on him he's able to doggy paddle very short distances! I highly recommend this book for parents with toddlers/babies.

Very helpful with pictures, explanations, and lesson plans. Very easy to follow and very fun for kids. While a little young for James (only goes through 6 months to 4 years) he is still doing well with modifications from me. Matthias and Hannah are both loving this program! I teach Matthias and James together while Hannah is at Child Watch (LOVE the YMCA) and work with Hannah after while the boys play. Working great.

This book has some great ideas for teaching your child to swim. We go to the lake and pool a lot during the summer and fall, so I want to be able to teach Joshua some techniques for his swimming skills. It's worked so far. The book is divided into stages and then broken down by age starting at 6 months. Really well done.
