JT Stanton is a happily single Navy SEAL. His convenient relationship with a woman he barely knows is fast turning into something he doesn't want, and she is striving for. As gently as possible he lets her go, on the same night, finding the woman that makes his heart skip a beat. When fate delivers a cruel blow, he does what he does best. Protects. Nothing matters to him except to make sure that Kennedy is safe and happy.

Kennedy Rice has led an unenviable life. Losing both her parents and grandmother before she turned nineteen, is nothing anyone would want to experience. But she's not giving up. Her dream of becoming a doctor will happen one day, even if it kills her. Working non-stop, taking community college classes, she's wearing herself thin, literally. But that also means she's tired. It’s obvious. So, why is her doctor so worried?

In the RP world, things seem to snowball as usual, but Ghost and Grace are determined to save their sons’ girl. When her doctor is found dead, the mystery deepens. Murder. An AWOL SEAL. And high fashion? Nothing makes sense. Nothing except the love JT has for Kennedy.

Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. What a first meeting for this couple! I found myself laughing due to the circumstances that even had JT at the restaurant. It was fun to see JT fall so fast and how he let Kennedy know he was interested in her. Kennedy's arrival at Belle Fleur sure shook things up there, ended up being good in so many ways. First she was safe and most importantly, she found that family she had been missing her whole life. I really enjoyed seeing her relationship with Ghost, it was cute on both sides.

With all the drama that Kennedy brought, it was crazy that it was happening right in the heart of the SEAL home. In some ways it was ingenious, even if it brought about bad things. So glad that all the bad guys got taken down and we got to end on a happy note.

Fashion and evil mixed together

JT just dumped his on and off girlfriend when he met Kennedy.
Kennedy never had an easy life, mother, father and grandmother all dead and she is struggling with school and life. JT walked into her life and things changed . Kennedy became sick and ended up in danger for witnessing her doctors death.
Let's say once again Ms. Kennedy takes us on a wonderful journey where RP once again becomes heroes.
This book involves high fashion, spying all for the love of money and power. But JT and Kennedy get their HEA. Now the ending leaves us wandering about Chase.

I chose this rating because this was actually a really great book. I really enjoy most of all of the characters. This was a book of determination, protections, compassion, Integrity, and being there when someone needs you here. I really enjoyed JT and Kennedy story here. I think the author did an amazing job with putting these two characters together. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Nice story that turns very ugly. Ghost's and Grace's older son, JT, is sitting in a restaurant near his base and has a disagreement with his date. She is pretty and very high maintenance, wanting to be married to a SEAL. When he finally sends her away, he realizes that he has been paying more attention to the pretty waitress than his date. She rebuffs him and he realizes that she is worth the time and trouble it will take to win her trust. There is quite a lot of trouble, too. There's also a good look at the next generation of Robicheaux warriors, as well as the Girl Squad.
