I was given this book for an honest review.
Man this storyline has been BUILDING from Ryker to the Thanksgiving novella and now it comes to a head in this novella.
Adam and Angelina have been through so much to be together and they seem to be stumbling with so much self-doubt. Angelina thinks she isn’t enough for Adam anymore while Adam has his own demons causing doubt.
When Angelina makes a stand to decides to make her life something no matter if Adam is in it or night, she finds a skill and talent she is proud of. She makes a big bold move to help the Warriors and makes Adam even more proud of his Angel.
Adam is devastated and angry at the loss of his mate. He knows its his issue but is afraid of facing his fears and giving name to it. With a little tough love from Daniel, Tessa and even Sloan, our warriors finds the strength and determination he needs.
I loved these two and the new storyline. They have been through so much that it makes me happy seeing them grow up together. They met and fell in love young but now are not kids anymore, They are adults who need identities beyond being “so and so’s girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife”.
But can I say, the bomb that we get with Jake and Jessie from Raven…woof. I am ready for this story line and next book for sure!!! It is going to be a killer.

I was so excited to get Angelina and oh wow wow wow. Absolutely delighted with it. Teresa has smashed it again. Such an incredible read.
Angelina is adamant she will not go back to Adam until she knows she will be treated the way she deserves to be.
Adam needs her. He can’t function without her but he also cannot go to her until he has sorted the demons that plague him. He thinks he is following in the footsteps of his Father. Is he? Can he change himself enough to deserve Angelina?
Such an action packed emotional ride. Loved every single page. Can’t wait for more

Another amazing addition to the Protectors Series by Teressa Gabelman. I wish that this book was longer as I read it straight away, and now I have to wait until I get another Warriors/Dark Guardians fix. Wow, man Angelina has come in her own during her separation with Adam. She wont take any sh*t from anyone. It was amazing to see and I was so proud of her for standing up against her a*sehole of a work colleague who tried to not only evict Angelina from the Ambulance (it was her first day on the job) but Slade and Jill as well. The call hadn’t come through but Angelina saw the warriors and knew that help was needed. Jill was bleeding out after her throat had been nearly torn out, and Slade was a nervous wreck trying to save her as he wasn’t really in the right head space to be Dr Buchannan when he’s trying to save his mate.
Angelina took over the situation, gave Jill some of her blood since she lost so much, and Slade’s blood wasn’t enough to heal her. She even sutured Jill’s neck wound. I’m really glad that Adam finally got his head straight where his father’s concerned. I’m really interested in reading the next book, and hopefully finding out more about Jake and his wife Tracy who was m*rdered on their wedding day. I’m also really interested in hearing what Tracey has to say to him and Raven, through Lana and Caroline. Also what did she do to betray him? Man, Steve still completely cracks me up, like how has he still not learnt to keep his mouth shut lol. I’d happily read as many books from this series, as well as the Lee County Wolves that Teresa decides to write. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

Once again Teresa has gone above and beyond with her storytelling!
This book gave you everything and I mean eveything you wanted a some things you didnt know you needed.
There was 1 point on the book that I had to stop and catch my breath, and decide weather I loved Teresa and needed to hug her or track her down and shake the crap out of her! The tears flowed, the laughs exploded, and the love for each and every charater intensified a thousnad fold.
This series keeps getting better and better with every book.
Angelina and Adam are that couple you knew back in school, you know the ones that you just knew were going to last forever cause you felt the love they had for each other from across the room. So for those 2 to be having problems that caused 1 of them to walk away, made you doubt that everything you thought you knew about love. But sometimes you have to break something in order to put it back together even stronger.
I am in LOVE with Jake and I hope after everything he has been thru he finds his smile again

Glaring errors throughout!
I absolutely have loved this series and own the first 11 books. However, as I have re-read the first 11 books and was excited to discover and read even more of the series, I have noticed more and more errors. Most I can ignore but memorized instead of mesmerized, really!? Angelina, was a wonderful story but there is an error every couple of pages. The previous books also had errors but not as many as this one. I am hoping the next couple of books are edited more thoroughly. That being said, I hope this is not the end of The Protectors series, the names and personalities are memorable. I am already sad as I am nearing the end. Keep them coming please!

Wow!! Angelina book just completely me hypnotized me from page one. I love how this story was written Angelina is Mated/ married to Adam. They both have childhoods that are not ideal and those insecurities, and hurts come forward and forces Angelina to leave Adam. and Adam has to prove that he can conquer his demons and win his Angel back. I absolutely love this series and reading about all characters even though a paranormal they have real world issues as well, this why this series is a a must read and recommend.

Angelina walked out on Adam when it became clear that it appeared as though she was invisible to him😢 Adam acknowledges that he has some issues and is working on them and hopes to win his Angel back…hopefully before it’s too late. In the meantime, she’s moved in with a friend and has been testing to be a paramedic🙃 When she gets a call to have a ride along, she also accepts that she might have to work with the Warriors at some point…however, her first ride ensures that exact scenario happens😳
I enjoyed this story and I’m excited as I’m hoping Jake’s story is next❣️

Disappointing
This was ok but no real meat in the story to get your teeth into.Yes Angelina left Adam but was back after a bit of insight from him don't look if you hate spoilers , she saves Jill. I felt this was more about Jake , his loss & being unable to move on .will still but the next book but I hope there's more drama & plot in it than this one .One blip a reader can forgive but if it's just dragging tales out for the sake of it like I've seen from others I will stop buying

Excellent Series
I love this series - the Warriors, Guardians and their mates. Adam and Angelina are mated and married but Adam has been ignoring her and it's to the point she can't take it anymore. She decides to leave him which is a wake-up call for him. He's dealing with something from his past but won't talk to her about it. Both are miserable being apart and Adam keeps watching over her from a distance. It takes a mutual friend almost dying for them to realize life is too short and they finally sit down and work out their differences. Excellent story.

Angelina has always been a little shy, but because of her abusive childhood remains strong inside.

Worth the Wait
It is a true pleasure to return to the world of the VC Warriors. While the cliffhanger kills me, as Teresa introduces the next plot, I'll be here, waiting for it. There are very few series I revisit, but The Protectors by Teresa Gabelman is one I re-read often. I am so glad I discovered her work, and I'm grateful for the joy her books give me. Definitely worth the wait! Bring on Jake and Jessie!

The story is fine but the novella is nearly illegible. A good editor or proofreader could have fixed the problems.
The one or two times that grammar mistakes happen they can be overlooked, but the errors just kept coming.
Ive noticed that the last few books from this author have deteriorated in storytelling and composition. So distracting, in fact, that they pulled me out of the narrative. If the next book in the series is as unenjoyable, I’m moving on. So many books, so little time.

Coping with her separation from Adam, Angelina starts her new job as a ride-along and recognizes Slade trying to help a downed VC warrior. Gathering all that’s in her, Angelina puts a bit of might in her voice and action and goes to help despite her partner’s protests. She also gets a chance to speak her mind to Adam who’s missing his mate much. Meanwhile, Jake finds the pull toward Jessie too strong to ignore as he switches allegiances in this overall good short.

the past stays in the past and reconciliation is possible
Great follow up to series. The quietest mate finally finds her voice and recognizes she is worth more and deserves better. While the VC warrior recognizes he is not truly wired to be like his father. He has to confront his fears and be open with himself if he ever wants his mate back. Love the series and I cannot wait for the next one.

Let go of the past
Sometimes you have to deal with your past so you can keep your past from controlling your future. We have to deal with the impact of child abuse in this one and it blends in with caring for abandoned or trafficked children. The story continues the main ARC as it spins the tale of the couple we're learning about. We also get a preview of another thread we'll cover later.

Oh boy!!! That was good!!!
So Angelina and Adam are working through their issues. It needed to be done. Angelina made a difficult choice and stuck with it. In the end it worked. Sloan and Daniel assisted. Jake is conflicted. A observation made his situation even more frustrating and sad. Steve is always funny. Jill. Well she and Slave will most !likely have a safety discussion. Loved it!!!!

THE PROTECTORS SERIES !!!
This series is definitely a comfort series of mine. I have every book in audio and kindle.
Angelina was someone that needed her own voice and I love the timing of her story. I'm hopeful and excited to see more of her and definitely her new found strength.
This series is amazing and I love that we never have to really say goodbye to anyone their stories connect and the growth of that is exciting.
I know I'm not alone in wanting the next couple!!! I can't wait to find out the back story!
I know we are about to have a huge mind blow moment and I can't wait.

Enjoyable
Good book, wish it was longer because I enjoyed the storyline.. Really liked the Angelina who walked away but I think she went back to Adam too soon and the others didn't quite understand that they didn't treat her as they should off either.. That's why I just needed a bit more in the book. Otherwise it left me wanting more as usual.

kick ass
The mates are kickass I love the difference between each and every one of them. This one was about healing and excepting who you are. It was good to see Angelina finally tapping into her badass side ! Can’t wait for the next one and Jake finally this warrior gets his HEA !

Breath again
I didn't know I needed this story until I read it and when Gable man writes u best believe I'm reading. This book made me feel every word.
Spoiler Alert we don't always know how growing will affect our lives but Adam was worried about being like his father abusive to him and Tessa. Angelina's mother is still in an abusive relation and didn't want to leave.

I’m gradually working my way through this series, but I had to jump ahead and read Angelina’s book, her problems with Adam were driving me crazy.. I’m glad she finally found her moxie.
