Sarah came to tinsel town with dreams. Scams and liars squashed them before she got her first tan. She's about to call it quits when Santa sends her a tall, dark, and handsome stranger into her bar. Nick's Christmas is starting with yet another lie. In a life he views through a camera lens, nothing is what it appears to be, even him. Until he returns to visit his estranged Dad in snowless LA, sits down at a swanky bar with his fake ID, and meets a girl who makes him want to tell the truth.
Willa Drew is not one, but two writers of fun, flirty fiction full of feels.
Lovers of emotional scenes (don’t tell anyone: someone always cries as we write them), dramatic scenarios (don’t blame us, the characters insisted) and the best the world has to offer like eclairs and butter tarts (don’t ask us to share, but we’ll point you to the recipes). Our young adult and new adult romances have every flavor. Angst? Check. Secrets? Of course. Risk taking? You bet. Expect slow burns, heart flutters, soul mates, first loves, and swoon worthy kisses.

ARC Review - Kisses, Lies, & Us Author: Willa Drew
What an excellent introduction to Nick and Sarah! A chance encounter at a resort bar during the holidays leads to a steamy kiss! There is great chemistry between them, and the conversation flows easily. There is one big issue, though; Nick isn't being honest about who he really is. I'm curious about where this will go. I look forward to the next installment.
Thank you to Willa Drew, who gave me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Misses, Hearts, & Us is the second novella in the Falling for The Liar series by Willa Drew.
I am excited to get to book two of this series! This book picks up a couple of months after Nick and Sarah met in California; Nick, traveling for the Christmas holiday, happened to meet Sarah working at a resort bar. There was an insta-connection, and a steamy kiss was shared, but Nick told Sarah his name was Shawn! Sarah, traveling back to California after the funeral of her dear grandmother, was detoured to Chicago because of the weather. Daydreaming about Shawn, she remembers his driver’s license is in the pocket of his jacket. To her surprise, Shawn lives in Chicago! This is her chance to see him and see if the sparks are still there.
Unfortunately, she returned home heartbroken and planned on focusing all her attention on the Starlight Foundation’s Future Filmmakers Competition, where she was accepted as a screenwriter. This was her dream. Screw guys. Little did she know, Nick was also accepted into the competition as a director. As you can imagine, it was an uncomfortable surprise.
I can't wait to see how this plays out!

Such a fun, fast read! This is the second novella in a multi-novella project and I LOVE this serial read option!
You must read novella #1 before this to understand why the MMC/FMC are where they are right now. Just when you think you know what is going on, the author gives you a fun little blip in their story.
I can't wait to read the coming up novellas to round out this fun story full of miscommunication, fate, and (hopefully) a HEA.

This is the second book in the series and picks up a couple months after Sarah and Nick meet. The authors do a great job building the story and pulled me in with their instant connection and emotions flowing through the pages. It's well written, moves fluidly and is an enjoyable story. I'm looking forward to the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This is the first book in a single love story told in a serial style over several novellas set on holidays throughout one year. This book involves the meeting of Nick and Sarah in the LA resort bar that she works at. It’s a cute story and left me definitely wanting to see how they connect next. They didn’t have much time together, but their chemistry was obvious. It’s a quick read. There is no intimacy, but there is clear innuendo and a fairly frequent amount of significant harsh language.
Second one in the series. I loved it a lot. Willa Drew surprises me every time and never lets me down in what they decide to do but ALWAYS keeps me on my toes. I can’t wait to see how the next book plays out. You feel all the emotions in the book. Insta connection, and a beautiful kiss shared. Love this story and I do recommend giving it a read.
I received an ARC of this book and these are my own opinions.
It was great to hang out with Sarah and Nick again. To have them finally be together was fab! Working on their film with their friends (nicely fleshed out by the way) gave this story body- I really felt the atmosphere.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat in suspense! I was so eager for them to meet and they had so many missed connections that I was practically shouting at the characters. So much drama and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Thanks to the authors for my ARC; all opinions are mine.

🎄Kisses, Lies, & Us de Willa Drew Seríe Falling for The Liar libro 1✨
Argumento:
If you haven’t, read books 1 & 2 of this series before reading this one!
Uhhhh best one in the series for sure!!!! I loved reading this ARC so much and hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I did.
Willa Drew - I love this one. You’re both amazing writers and I cannot wait for more from you! P.S. Don’t hurt Nick and Sarah too much.
!!! SPOILERS BELOW !!!
Sarah and Nick finally got to talk. They needed a good honest conversation with each other to be able to have the relationship with each other that they both wanted. I think they’re super cute together and they’ve grown a lot in the first three books of their series. Do I think it was wrong for Nick to withhold information from Sarah? Yeah. But did it work out in the end? Yeah... I’m so happy that Nick and Sarah are together.
The talk of the wool hat from Mémère … I wanted to cry.

This is the second novella in a single love story told in a serial style over several books set on holidays throughout one year. It’s a good thing that I had the third instalment in this series ready to read next, because the near misses in this one just about made my heart explode. The name is not kidding. Another novella length book, this moves the story forward and keeps the tension going. If all the parts of this story were put together into one book, this would not be the fun part, but it is needed for the narrative. Fortunately, the third portion of the story is released now, so no need to be discouraged and wait. Move right into it and you’ll get the payout that this section can’t provide, because…you know. Drama. In this part of the story there is no intimacy, but there is innuendo and a fairly frequent amount of significant harsh language.
A satisfying conclusion to the novella trio! Finally Nick and Sarah can get past the past, stop with the miscommunications, and express their love, friendship, and support for each other. Thank you to the authors for my ARC; all opinions are mine.
Really cute start to the series! For someone who normally isn’t a fan of cliffhangers or novellas it really surprised me that I liked it as much as I did - great job!
This is a well written book with strong characters and an interesting storyline. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. She moves it quickly and smoothly and leaves you with wanting more. I'm looking forward to the next book.

this was really well done, it had a great concept and does a great job in the romance genre. I'm glad I was able to read this and enjoyed what Willa Drew wrote. It was a nice change to read a good romance book. It was a great start to the Falling for the Liar series.

Well, frankly, After reading We Blend, I wasn't interested in getting to know more about Nick and Sarah, I'm more into El and Will. But I feel like why not give it a try and get some new vibes? So, yeah I have no regret to read this one it just made me more curious since the ending was a cliffhanger 😭 just like another book from this author, She loves to make her readers in a big wondering!! So what? I'm now in love with Nick and Sarah and am absolutely willing to dive more into their story! Can't wait for the next book to release!
Kisses, Lies, and Us Book 1 of Falling for the Liar Willa Drew
Soft ending. Nick/Shawn and Sarah, are well written and nicely developed. I cannot wait for book two to see what other adventures they get up to. Good read.

Wonderful and complex characters to follow along on this journey. There are a few twists and turns in this story that add to the anticipation of what's going to happen. Good read.

Nick (“Shawn”) and Sarah have wonderful chemistry between them in this slow burn story. Nick, a newly-minted 19-year-old, is dumped by his dad on Christmas Eve at a resort until he finishes his meeting. Nick heads for the bar with a fake ID that shows his name as Shawn and meets bartender Sarah. The two get along well, but when will he tell her his real identity because things seem to be heating up fast between them?
This novella depicts the first meeting between Nick and Sarah when they are 19. The blurb pretty much tells the story. There is a lot of interaction and banter. But the story ends quickly and I guess we need the next book to see if they meet again and have a future. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
Nick uses a fake ID to get into the resort bar while he father is in a meeting. He meets Sarah as she bartends and the sparks fly. Both are involved in the film industry so chatting is easy. He has to leave when he father finishes but will they see each other again? Will his lies about his name and age matter? Very intriguing and can not wait to see where this storyline goes from here.

Kisses, Lies, & Us kicks off Willa Drew’s Falling for the Liar Series. Book 1 is short but sweet, with a smidgen of sexy and just enough sizzle to keep readers wanting more. Highly recommend this for a quick, satisfying start to a clear and obvious soulmates series!
The story feels as young as the characters and their instant chemistry is just as fast at this read is, allowing readers to fall in love with their quick romance as swiftly as they fall for one another. They have a head-over-heels, knock you on your ass kind of chemistry.
Willa Drew leaves the characters at the climax of their night, desperate for more—and her readers are right there with them. She’s set the scene for far more in the next installment. This is just the sizzle before the spark really ignites. Can’t wait to dig in to part 2!
Kissed, Lies, and Us by Willa Drew is a good, and enjoyable slow burn friends to lovers holiday romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.

Abandoned by his dad on Christmas Eve, Nick ends up in a bar using his fake ID to get a drink. He meets Sarah, the bartender, who he immediately connects with. Because of his fake ID…she thinks he’s older, and that his name is Shawn. They have a lot in common, and she seems to like him, inviting him to a party. He feels like she sees the real him, but is it really HIM that she likes?
As with all Willa Drew stories, the achingly perfect slow-burn is gorgeous. Even in a short novella!
Btw, I’ve discovered this year that I love Novellas! And this one has all the beginnings to a fantastic series!!!
This is Book 1 in the “Falling for the Liar” series, and it does not disappoint. My only issue is that I’m impatient and wanna read the rest right now!
I love the two main characters, Sarah and Nick/Shawn, and so can’t wait to see what happens with them next! There’s so much I wanna say but I don’t want to give anything away!!!!
