This book had such great potential, I went in for the silver fox, but found out it was more mafia. I should have paid closer attention. I am very picky with mafia romance.
As much as liked the storyline, there was some plots holes. The chemistry between the heroine and hero, just wasn’t there and I couldn’t connect with them.
This one had the makings of a story I should have LOVED- mafia, secret baby, age gap, protective and alpha hero, heroine in danger........but for some reason it just felt to be missing something. I found it hard to get into, the chemistry felt a bit one note, the steam a bit meh, and it really lacked any sort of edge. I didn't necessarily dislike it, but I wasn't really hooked in anyway. It did pick up for me at about the 40% mark (we basically had double exposition because of the time hop), but still not quite the delicious read I anticipated. Certainly entertaining though- and if you love softer mafia heroes, this one certain had some swoon.
It's mafia, but not dark enough to feel legit and high stakes. It also has a heroine who begs the hero to give her another baby a literal page before she freaks out about him being a part of the mafia. Like, girl, YOU KNOW THIS. 🙄
3.75/4 Stars from me! At first I had a little trouble, the beginning was a bit rushed and Marina “Arin” seemed terribly naïve. I mean how is she going to meet a guy, sleep with him, then get upset when she finds out that his fine, rich ass sometimes enjoys the company of other women? But then we make it past the first part and things get a little better.
Arin is struggling to make a name for herself in the fashion world. She’s a single mom now and she needs to be financially secure for her daughter. Money is tight as it is. She goes to the bank for a loan to get her fashion show underway, but gets denied. Then, she receives the business card of a loan shark and goes that route. The loan shark is no other than Dominic, the man she has the one night stand with and then ran away from.
Dominic is working the area for his Capo, Lorenzo, when Arin walks back into his life. He denies her the loan, not wanting to have her indebted to a mob boss. But he can’t stay away from her, so he has her watched, then eventually gets closer to her. After a close call with death, and a target now on her back, Dominic moves Arin and her daughter, Felicia into his home for protection.
Our Hero and heroine must navigate this intense pull they have to each other, the mafia, and their jobs as parents of 4 year old Felicia.
This story was good, the spice was on the short side, but it was good for what we got. Arin was kinda annoying to me- I found her naïve, like mentioned above, but I also found it hard to believe that she’d find herself dependent upon another man after what happened with her fiancé in the start of the book. She was also a little floppy floppy when it came to Dominic’s position in the mafia. Like, she wants to have more of his babies, but she almost breaks it off with him because of his occupation. I mean, she finds out pretty early how he’s a made man, and she handles the scene at the restaurant really well, so I’d think she’d be quicker to accept all of Dominic. But I guess you don’t have a story without a little trouble, huh.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. I loved the action and the suspense of who was behind Dominic’s isolation in the family. I wish the sexy times were drawn out more. I also found the description to be a little misleading- Dominic didn’t chase Arin down, and he didn’t tell her she couldn’t leave, so I was a little disappointed that wasn’t the case. But it was enjoyable and I’m looking forward to possibly reading more by this author.

Ugh. Ok first I thought this was a ddlg fic, but it's not. There's a small age gap but I don't think it's even mentioned in the book. So, it sort of feels misleading. So, Dominic and Arin meet at the airport and have hot monkey sex, in which she gets knocked up, but for reasons - they part and she doesn't even know his last name or where to find him. Then they meet up 5-years later and they go from there. The plot is ok, but it feels like it's a child trying to write an adult story. There really isn't a lot of depth. The conversations feel empty. It's supposed to be a mafia story, and Dominic is supposed to be Italian, but it feels like the author just threw some mob/Italian words into the book for kicks and giggles. It doesn't feel like a real mafia book at all. Then Dom is so worried because people are after him, and he wants his woman to move in with him to protect them, but he doesn't even mention his mom. She's just stuck out on her own? LOL Then when granny shows up she knows all these secret mob things. Most Italian women are left out of the details so it just didn't seem to fit with anything. There were some decent sex scenes so I didn't hate that. Also, Arin actually kicked some butt instead of being a damsel in distress, so I liked that part too. OH..... and there's a big shoot out in the middle of Nobu, a hugely popular restaurant, and the police don't even get involved??? Ok sure
I knew it! I knew it as soon as I got to the 56% mark in the book. It's the scene where Dominic is planning on attacking his boss and he asks her to make some kalevar suits for his men and she's hoping that one day she can live in a cul-de-sac with a house with a white picket fence yada yada yada. I knew then that the author was going to change him for her and I hate it! If I want to read a Mafia book then give me a Mafia book. He should have just been a billionaire Daddy and not a mafia daddy if you were going to take him out of the mafia. Sure enough I checked at the end and basically the author makes the woman change him. A leopard can't change his spots! If he's in the mafia he stays in the mafia. Once I saw that I stopped reading it and that's why it got one star.

Reminder: This is the one where the 21F is on her cell yelling at her cheating ex while in the first class lounge at JFK. Handsome Italian silver fox 37M overhears her and is charmed by her feistiness and offers her release and revenge on her ex. Cue the lounge shower 👉🏼👌🏼 and she’s then ran off by the H’s evil mafia henchman. Surprise Mafia trope. Secret baby trope even though she was on the pill & he wore a condom. 5 year separation.

3.75⭐️ I really enjoyed this book, it’s one of my absolute favorite tropes- mafia, secret baby & age gap. But a few things had me taking a star & a quarter off- first it felt rushed. Arin & Dom we’re good together, but everything felt to pushy, they weren’t together that long & he wanted her pregnant again. Yet he hardly had time for Arin & Felicia. And one minute Arin’s telling him no mob talk or meetings in their home, she wants it separate f/her & their daughter, but then she’s mad because he won’t tell her what’s going on. The ending was great, I loved seeing their future & them having more kids. Honestly by the end I totally forgot all about Arin being cheated on by her slimy ex. This was my first time reading a book by this author & I loved it, would definitely recommend it & am already checking out the other books in the series!
Wow, that was one heck of a ride! Arin & Dominic did not disappoint, I loved every moment of this story! It had all the action, suspense, angst, love, spice, family, & everything you love about a mafia story. I was hooked from the first page and how they met! I knew it was going to be a wide ride from that moment! Definitely recommend if you love a good age gap, secret baby, & mafia romance all wrapped up in one big bow. Will definitely be reading more of these silver fox daddy books!
When this series was suggested to me I knew it was right up my alley....age gap silver fox romances are my kryptonite!
This was my first book by K.C., but I know I'll be back to read more in the series.
Loved the storyline and character depth in this stories, appreciated that it had substance...and while steamy and holding plenty of romance I got a solid story as well.
I'm a sucker for a mafia romance, loved how Dom was a total gruff harda$$ but also had this soft underbelly that Arin and Felicia were really able to expose.
This story was so moving, entertaining, exciting and awesome!!! K.C. is a Fantastic storyteller and is an awesome writer. This story pulls you in from the beginning to the end.
Eilo you disappoint. I knew what type of man Milo was I'm so glad they both got what they each deserved. My gosh Marina is such a fighter she actually held her own a couple of times so glad everything worked out the way it should. Happy ending.
I couldn’t finish it and I always try to finish all of my books. I was disappointed. If you’re going to write about the Mafia do it right. It just seemed silly, and I thought the story plot had so much possibility.
The marriage was off! After catching her fiancé with the wedding planner, in a heated embrace at the church, just before her wedding, Miranda ran. Fully intending to make use of the honeymoon trip to Hawaii by her self. At the airport a call from Corey, her ex-fiancé, led to a yelling, tearful exchange, when on she noticed the older man, at the airport lounge, beside her. Upset, feeling as she had hit rock bottom, it was the man’s simple gesture of handing her his handkerchief that started the conversation which led to the passionate coupling in the private showers at the airport. His offer of a trip to Italy that seemed perfect, until just before the private plane took off when a remark set her running, from the trip and Dominic. Five years later, Miranda had made strides towards her goal to step into the world of fashion as a designer. She had even made it through college which her degree in fashion design and raised her daughter Felicia, who had been born of the encounter with Dominic, for which she was never sorry. But now getting the money to start her business was next to impossible. She was so desperate she went to a loan shark, where, to her utter astonishment, the man behind the desk was the same man she had had a passionate, very short fling with five years ago, Dominic. Both surprised and extremely pleased to finally find the woman he couldn’t stop thinking about, Dominic couldn’t let her go again. Getting to know her and learning of his daughter, he knew he would need to protect them from the dark side of his life, as second in command to one of the top bosses in the Mafia. As an Italian immigrant, he never questioned his choice to belong to the organization, but protecting his family in the face of the violence, subservience demanded of him, betrayal, and a even those who would see him dead, in order to stand in his place, would lead to changes in his life.
There is a good deal happening in this romantic suspense tale. Along with steamy romantic scenes. The life that Miranda and Dominic lead is what you might see as part of an organized crime member. There is secrecy, murder, illegal deals, enemies you don’t always recognize, but also a strong sense of family that manifests in protecting them, even if it is against the organization to whom you owe your undivided loyalty. For readers who enjoy romantic suspense with adventure, spicy interludes behind open doors, a good ending with no cheating this is a story that never slows down. However, there are triggers, beyond the much heated love making, that might deter a reader. A good deal of the action that takes place is violent, murder, fights, arson, total disregard for life along with Dominic’s compliance. Dominic’s life as part of the organization makes him appear as a person without much conscience or compassion, a leader willing to kill, turn a blind eye to the law and follow the orders of those over him without question. And until, he becomes part of Arin and Felicia’s life he doesn’t let his compassionate bits rule him. But, this is also a story of change, a coming of age, even if it is late in life. I understood Dominic and Miranda’s hard choices, respected their love for each other and applauded the fact that they both searched for and found a solution for a better life. And I still recommend this book to readers.
Like all girls who dream of one day becoming a bride, Marina—Arin—Wilson, had visions of a perfect sun-filled day, in a church scented with flowers. And in the dream, Arin would be the bride—dressed in the most beautiful dress ever imagined, being admired by her handsome, husband to be.
But for Arin, that was not to be her experience because on what should have been the most wonderful day of her life, she was running away—running away from her unfaithful fiancé, now, groom-never-to be. How could she possibly marry a man who, on the eve of their wedding, betrayed the woman he was supposed to love and respect? So, she was sitting in the First-Class Lounge, awaiting the arrival of the plane that would fly to a Hawaiian honeymoon with no groom at her side.
Now, rather than going to Hawaii for a month-long honey moon, the broken-heart woman barely in her twenties, is considering taking the offer of Dominic, an older man—a dark, handsome, stranger to accompany him to Milan, Italy—one of the most important cities of the fashion world—the career that her ex-fiancé said that she would never achieve. And while she left the airport never learning Dominic’s last name, he had introduced her to the best sex of her life.
But fate really doesn’t play fair. Now, 5 years later beautiful Arin Wilson, a beautiful woman with frosty grey eyes, wavy, long black hair, and long legs is doing her best to move forward with the personal dreams of becoming a fashion designer. While she did not marry and honeymoon in Hawaii, she did follow a dream that her former fiancé had called foolish. Using her inheritance from her beloved grandmother and attend The Fashion Institute of Technology, graduating two years ago. And, her talent earned her an internship at Ralph Lauren. Now, she has a portfolio full of designs awaiting an infusion of money and luck to go public, but until then, she has a small shop which creates unique designs—mostly displayed on the bodies of high school junior and senior girls as they take to the floor for their proms.
But, with a 4-year-old daughter conceived in the first-class members only private club shower at the airport with a handsome stranger on the worst day of her life and whom she never saw again, Arin doesn’t have many choices to move forward with her dreams of design. Her primary focus now is to take care of her sweet little girl, Felicia. And so, she takes that biggest risk yet. She goes to the office of a local loan shark with the hopes of getting the seed money to buy the material and supplies needed to turn her designs into realities, and eventually rent venue and hire models to stage her fashion entry as a designer during Fashion Week. What she did not expect when she walked into the loan office was to set her eyes on a man whose body she had experienced intimately 5 years earlier—the nameless man—now named—who fathered her daughter—Dominic Costello.
KC Crowne always provides an entertaining and engaging plotline filled with challenges and dangers that only an experienced daddy can solve.

Secret Daddy, one of the books in the Silver Fox Daddies series, was about 42-year-old Dominic "Dom" Costello, the second-in-command to a capo of the Costa Nostra mafia, and 26-year-old Marina "Arin" Wilson, an up-and-coming fashion designer. Dom and Arin met while both were waiting for their flights in the VIP lounge of JFK. Arin was on the phone with her recently-declared ex-fiance, who had cheated on her with the wedding planner just hours before the wedding. Her ex was angry that she was so upset over it, and that she had decided to go on their month-long honeymoon trip to Hawaii alone. After she hung up, she noticed the man sitting at the table next to her, who just happened to be Dom. One thing led to another and they ended up having sex. Dom convinced her to change her plans and join him on his trip instead of spending her "honeymoon" alone. However, that lasted only long enough for her to get on his private plane, hear a few things she didn't want to hear, and she left the plane, devastated. Five years later, Arin needed a loan to get her fashion design business started. When the bank turned her down, she was given a business card for a "loan shark"...who ended up being Dom. To say Dom was surprised to see her would be a mild response. But it took only a short time before he learned that the little girl Arin was supposedly babysitting for her roommate was, in fact, her daughter...as well as his. It also came out that he wasn't just a loan shark, but a soldier in the mafia, and that things weren't going smoothly in that department. This was an excellent mafia/romance story, with plenty of angst, drama, suspense, anguish, heartache, and love. The emotional rollercoaster ride was filled with enough twists and turns to keep the reader glued to the pages until the very end. The main characters were fully developed and mature, with lots of growth taking place with both of them as their relationship evolved. It was interesting to see how the author wove both the mafia life and the fashion world together in such a smooth way that it was all but flawless. Although there were a few grammatical errors in the story, and it was overly long, it was a well-written book and deserved a four-star rating. I would have given it a five-star rating, but the length was just too much, with a bit more fluff than was necessary. Still, it was a really good book.
This was a great book the characters had me wanting them to work out there differences and have the future together that they both desire. Marina (Arin) Wilson has just found out her fiancé Corey on her wedding day has been cheating on her with the wedding planner and so she leaves calling it all off and decides to take the there honeymoon to Hawaii and so now she’s at the airport arguing with Corey on the phone when a sexy as sin guy asks if she is ok after he overhears the conversation and that’s when she meets Dominic Costello who tells her that not all men are like him and that a real man would treat her better and the flirting tone makes it that much hotter and she lets him show her how a real man is and what a hot and steamy time had in the shower in the first class lounge. Now fast forward 5yrs Arin needs a loan to start her fashion design business but the banks denied her request and so she goes to a loan shark and that’s where she’s Dominic again and dam he is still as sexy as he was back then and then she thinks of there daughter Felicia that he knows nothing about but now is not the time. When Dominic see’s Marina again and he has longed to see her again and here she is wanting a loan that will break her if he gives it to her and he cannot let that happen so he tells he no and she storms out leaving her business file behind now he knows everything about the woman he never forgot and now she knows he is a loan shark business. It’s been 7 days since she left the office and I need to see her again and so I’m standing in her dress shop asking her to make me 4 suits and I pay her the $20 thousand she needs for her business in trade but it’s more than that I want her to be mine but it’s dangerous as well because I have enemies that would harm her if they new. How does it all turn out Will Arin finally get to tell Dominic about his daughter and can Dominic keep them both safe and can they have a future together with the business his in. Get this book to find out what happens in the end. Brilliant book.

I liked the plot of the story a lot. The plot kept me interested and I really liked their first encounter. I enjoy mafia reads but this one wasn't really good to me. I had a hard time connecting with the characters and their relationship wasn't really there. I was told they were in a relationship - and they had sex - but other than that It didn't feel like the characters had a connection and there wasn't much going on between them. Everything moved so fast in the story as well. The sex wasn't super detailed and the way it was written made it seem like 2 pumps and she's coming for him and then 1 more pump and they both coming. Every. Time. It really wasn't much. Then the first encounter after she came - she was like 'OH but I already ...' and he said 'did you think I was done with you' - like your having SEX .. so what if you came... he still has to come to?? I get the author was trying to make it seem like her ex never gave her an orgasim or more than one, but the way it was written made it seem like once the girl orgasims then she thought everything was done...
Then the betrayal ... What was the whole point of her hearing Milo talking on the phone to Elio if she didn't do anything. The author wrote this scene where she over hears this whole conversation about the plot to screw over the H and how he knows the dead body wasn't Elio and how he doesn't seem to suspect anything - she already had a bad feeling about him and yeah her and the H fought right after - but that was never brought up again. So I don't get why that was even mentioned if nothing came from that scene. Was it to let us know that they were going to be pulling something soon? I mean, the book was already heading in that direction anyway so you can gather that much that something was about to happen and when it happens they say who it is - so I'm just not sure why this scene happened... it really bothered me that she never brought it up to the H or anything. But then again - the book moved so fast that the fight happened then next scene was her show a week later.
This had potential to be really good. But this one just wasn't for me
Marina (Arin) was truly an innocent when she first encountered Dominic. Tall, handsome, debonair and in control, Dominic swooped in when she was at her lowest, gave her a taste of true passion and then asked her to jet off with him to Milan instead of her planned destination. Arin would have accompanied him too, if she had not encountered his associate who made nasty insinuations. She made her escape without ever asking his last name or contact information. Five years have passed when Arin encounters Dominic again. Much has changed in her life. She is now a single mom to a young daughter, Dominic’s daughter, and she is a struggling clothing designer trying to get her clothes seen during fashion week. Unable to get a loan at a bank, she turns to a loan shark who just happens to be Dominic. He is just as handsome, just as debonair as before, but now she sees the hard edge of his personality too. Dominic refuses to loan her money, to drag her into a world of never ending debt and threats. He finds another way to get her the money she needs and a foot in the door, as it were. Unfortunately, Arin also learns just how dark and dangerous his world can be. He is determined to protect her, and when her secret comes out, things turn even more dark and dangerous as Dominic has enemies who will do anything to take him down. Can he protect Arin and their daughter? Is a happily ever after even a possibility for these two lovers?
This book is fast paced, thrilling and addictive. It also includes plenty of steam and emotional moments that make this book even more enjoyable. I could not put this book down. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Maybe mafia books just aren’t for me. Because I swear every single one I’ve tried to read has the heroine as some poor woman that gets pregnant and the h and H are drawn to one another and none of the damn women really give a crap about their babies or their safety. Like they care for half a second, then they’re like “oh but you have money and a nice big snake in your pants, so I guess I’ll have to deal…”
They get shot at while eating lunch (then there’s a slip up in the writing calling it dinner) and he explains that she’s now in danger and she needs to move in with him. But she doesn’t worry at all about her CHILD THAT COULD BE HUNTED DOWN SINCE SHE ATTACKED BACK?! Like WHY ISN’T ANYONE RUSHING TO GET THIS CHILD RIGHT FREAKING NOW?!? And let me just get this straight really fast…. This woman’s best buddy, whom she lives with and is moving out from living with for her and her daughters safety… isn’t going to be in any danger living in the same place where they used to live together? Just hear me out real fast. If some don or capo or whatever is after one person… no one thinks that it’s a high chance they will track down her friends and any family she might have or even the last place of residence trying to find her? Like that best buddy is in danger being all alone in this crappy apartment in the worst part of town because of the h fighting back. And no one realizes this or gives a crap enough to move her somewhere else? 🤨
Am I wrong? Idk…. I just wish there was a little bit of common sense here.
I’m not finishing this. I’ve read fantasy that has more realism when it comes to safety and common sense.
Dominic & Arin: triggers: kidnapping, bombings, assault. I didn't find this to be an age gap romance.
"Age gap romances are a popular sub-genre in the world of romance novels, and they focus on relationships where there is a significant age difference between the partners. Often, these stories explore the challenges and rewards that come with loving someone outside of one’s own age group" -Age Gap Romance Books: A Comprehensive Guide for Passionate Love Stories (https://storgy.com/age-gap-romance-bo....)
Normally the actual age gap becomes a character in the story as well and there's constant tension, challenges and/or discussion about that gap.
This book was more Mafia, second chance romance and while that's not bad, I think anyone expecting one thing with starting this series, might be just a touch disappointed when they find that this is not the case.
The story itself wasn't bad but for a Mafia romance it wasn't quite dark enough but I did feel there was a good amount of violence and action. I liked that Arin, our female lead wasn't exactly a damsel.
I didn't really feel the connection they the author kept writing about between the two main characters. She kept stating "the electricity...", this and "the electricity", that. But to me they were really only good in bed. They didn't really know anything about each other and never really had a "get to know you" type of conversation. So for these reasons, I rate this book ⭐⭐⭐.
This is my second KC Crowne book and very from my last- I am quickly becoming a big fan of her NA contemporary romance novels! I'm not sure if all of her books include age gap and surprise/secret babies but I'm sure not mad about it! This book follows Dominic and Arin (or Marina, which is her full name and oh so pretty in my opinion) who have a fast little airport tryst at the beginning of the book. She is about to jet off to Italy with him after said tryst (she just broke up with her cheating fiance and was about to go on her honeymoon, alone) when an encounter with one of his "colleagues" makes her decide Dominic is not someone she wants to jet off to Milan with and she quickly exits stage left. Fast forward five years later and she's a single mom looking for some capital to jump start her fashion line. She has another chance encounter with Dominic, whose career is a bit more shady that she realized when she had her little airport hookup five years ago. And that's all I'll say because you've got to read the book to get the rest of the supreme storytelling this author gives you- I read this diddy in just one day and it's a pretty thick book to do so! There's the right combination of spice, angst and just a touch of slow burn that keeps you going until the very end. I can't wait to see what she gives us next!.

21-year-old Marina (Arin) just found out on her wedding day that the groom is sleeping with the wedding planner. She’s off to Hawaii to enjoy the honeymoon all by herself when she meets a gorgeous older man. Dominic is waiting to board his flight to Milan when the very upset Marina confronts her ex over the phone. To celebrate her freedom Arin and Dominic slip into a secluded room and he makes her forget her ex. Five years later Arin goes to a loan shark to help start her fashion design line and is shocked to find Dominic. The connection is still very strong between them, even more so than Dominic believes. He is a father to 4-year-old Felicia! Life has been very difficult for single mom Arin but Dominic is going to change that…BUT… There is a big problem developing. The Capo of his organization is crazy and there is treachery among his men. Someone wants to ruin Dominic, even kill him! The story is rich with intrigue and deception. It seems that just when Dominic finds love and a family he finds that he has no friends. I didn’t know who the bad guys were until the very end. There are lots of surprises and shocks in this interesting read. I loved the characters, even the villains. I received a free advanced copy of the story from Booksprout. I am leaving this review because I review everything. Linda
The Bull’s Horn And Taking Names - The slow build at the beginning of this story was really deceptive, as it didn’t prepare me for the wild ride that I just finished. When Arin and Dominic first met, there was an explosive chemistry between them that didn’t wane, even after years apart. However, the connection only grew after they accidentally met again and Dominic discovered the life changing secret she was keeping. Unfortunately, their happiness was filled with so much chaos, but they proved their love was meant to be, by working together to get the happily ever after they were striving for.
I absolutely loved the story and the characters, but more importantly I was enamoured with Arin’s strength and determination, taking into account everything she had been through. I found it difficult to take a break once I was halfway through the story, as the story came alive and had me on the edge of my seat. If you are looking for an awesome book to read, that will titillate your senses and leave you feeling good.

This is my first book by this author, and I'll be honest, I picked up the book because of the cover. I mean, that cover...man. It was actually decent, though. It's an age gap, secret kid, mafia romance, and the mix up of all those tropes made it pretty fun. The romance was spicy, the characters were interesting. I thought the author did a great job of having a strong female character without the over-the-top obnoxious part that some authors insist on having with their women characters. Dominic was the perfect Italian silver fox.
Okay, so the plot was a little ridiculous, but it was fun. And I had a good time reading it, which it why it got five stars. It jumped some of my other books that I had been reading before it, so that's always the sign of a good one for me. Is the book a true five star? Probably not, looking at the strictest of sense when you combine all the story elements. But I usually go by entertainment factor when looking at many of these romance books. If it has a high entertainment value for me, I look past some of the other issues, and that was what this one was for me.

This was an impressive book to read, the author KC Crowne has written another magnificent story and the characters were exceptional. Arin walked out on her wedding but decided to go on the honeymoon by herself. While sitting at the airport she had seen a gorgeous man much older than her he talked with her they went off together for her to come back on her own. Dominic was taking a private jet to Milan for work when he met a lady that caught his eyes, he asked her to go to Milan with him and the next thing she is running past him after his second in charge said something to her. Five years later Arin needed a loan and the bank wouldn't give her one she ended up at a loan shark, when she was asked to come in they were shocked to see each other. The emotions throughout this story was like being on a rollercoaster ride with the Mafia fighting for encroaching on other people's land, so war was inevitable.

However, their fling leaves her with more than memories and no way to contact him to let him know the result of their fling. 5 years later and their paths cross again when Marina needs money to finance her business and isn't able to get a loan from the bank.
