The One to Heal was a quite moving and intense story from the very beginning to the end. I read it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down.
Sebastian and Delilah meets in the worst day of their lives at the hospital but they are too upset to pay attention. Few months later their paths cross each other again when Sebastian decides to bring his daughters at the Rose Ridge Ranch in order to relax and recharge in the midst of the nature, and Delilah finally goes back to Rose Ridge Ranch in order to mend her relationship with her father and brothers and sisters. Maybe they aren't ready for a love relationship but their attraction is too hard to ignore, will they put to rest their pasts to start a new life together?
I was so glad that Sebastian and Delilah found each other, they have suffered so much but I've appreciated their strength and courage to go on for themselves and their little ones. They are a sweet couple and they are mature enough to not ruin their new romance when they encounter some troubles.
These characters has gotten a piece of my heart, I was really invested in their story, I hoped they would finally have their happily ever after.
I'm looking forward to the next story.

This was such an enjoyable read, set in the vividly imagined world of Rose Ridge Ranch. The premise was original with a crowd of wonderful characters.
Told from the pov of Delilah and Sebastian. These two both have tragic pasts, which they are desperately trying to overcome. I love this couple who have a lot of demons to face separately and together.
I loved all the side characters; they are the source of so much drama, love and humour. I was left wanting to know more about all of them.
A captivating and, at times, emotionally intense story. I’m looking forward to reading more about this world …. I received an early version of this book from the author

This is the 1st in a new series, and this is Sebastian and Delilah /Dee’s journey. These two cross paths on the worst day of their lives, and now a year later fate destines that they cross paths again. Sebastian and his 2-daughtes head to Rose Ridge Ranch for a place to heal, regroup, and spend some quality time together. Dee was brought up on the ranch with her family, until she left after a fight with her dad and siblings about her boyfriend, and she is now heading back home with her daughter, to reconnect with her family and to heal after past trauma. The last things Sebastian and Dee expect is to meet each other again. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with secrets, heartbreak, angst, drama, family, friendships, tragedy, humor, witty banter, 2nd chances, undeniable chemistry, healing, romance, and love, which leads to a heartfelt and poignant love story.

This is the most beautiful heart felt love story between Delilah & Sebastian and jis two beautiful girls. Yes it is a single dad romance and its a healing love story too with a pinch FATE 💞
I love this story because it's true to its title and I LOVE when Fate gets involved and its on a RANCH which is a romantic setting. Delilah & Sebastian belong togther inclusing is girls and its was time for them to heal from...no spoilers
Its a mature love story and witty humor. There is a touch of drama but they over come it togther...no spoilers. Just a brilliant cast of characters around our couples love story and they make the story more real💞

I loved Sebastian and Delilah’s Second Chance at Love!!!
Thus, my biggest question to myself was why on earth had I left it so long since I’d read a book written by Author Liz Lovelock??? Because I can honestly say I’d forgotten how much I love her books, and THE ONE TO HEAL was the best reminder ever of why I needed to be reading them again.
For a start, I loved the blurb. And I love F1 racing and single father stories. From the first words, my heart was already devastated for Sebastian King, and Ms Lovelock ensured it stayed that way. At least for a while. The internal burden he carried was devastating, and the power of the words within the virtual covers had my tears pouring forth. The level of emotion that infused the words really wrapped around me like a blanket of heartbreak and I absolutely felt every moment with him and his four-year-old daughter Rylee. Take my word for it, she was a sassy little trooper, and really like a soothing breath of fresh air, a perfect little sunflower on a dreary day.
I loved the way Delilah’s story unfolded throughout the book. We’d met her on the day of Sebastian’s devastation and while it was his circumstances we learned straight up, I wondered what Delilah’s story was and Ms Lovelock kept me waiting for a bit longer. We learned though, that despite her past, she was a strong woman, and it’s her circumstances that remind us of the importance of family, communication, understanding, forgiveness and most of all second-chances-at -love.
I’ve read the premise of this book before as written by other authors, but Ms Lovelock has made it her own as surely as her writing is unique only to her. I absolutely adored the story line and fell even more in love with Sebastian and the precocious little Rylee, and Delilah, if it were even possible.
For anyone who loves the Small-Town-Horse-Ranch, Single-Parents and Second-Chance-Love tropes at all, I highly recommend that you wrap your reading gears around THE ONE TO HEAL and get prepared to fall in love with this couple and their secondary characters. We’ve been introduced to the next couple on the list, and my renew verve for reading the books of Author Liz Lovelock means I’ll be keeping a sharp eye out for it!!!

If this first book in the Rose Ridge Ranch series is anything to go by then I believe this is going to become a favourite series for me. I must say the title for this book is spot on!
Told by both lead characters, Sebastian and Delilah or Dee, we get greater insight into each person; their feelings, concerns, and understanding of things. I liked both Sebastian and Dee a lot because of their love and caring attitude for their children, as well as their determination to keep moving forward in situations many would find too hard to bear. Special mention must go to Sebastian’s daughter, Rylee, who is a totally sweetheart.
The depth of feeling the writing in this story evokes is so deep it hits right at the centre of your heart. This is why it deserves an extra half a star. I am not ashamed to say I had tears in my eyes in certain heartbreaking scenes, but I also chuckled at humorous scenes and became very angry in others.
This is a true love story, a second chance for love and as the title suggests, healing.

Wow! This story is my top read of the year so far and in my top 10 ever read! Thank you for an amazing, heartbreaking but beautiful written
I was wrecked but healed by the end, so many emotions! I honestly was struggling with my emotions and holding them in lately but this story made them flow. No holding back. I ugly cried l laughed. You will grieve with the characters, you will also heal and fall in love.
Dee has been through alot. An abusive marriage and major health issues. Hasn't been in contact with most of her family since leaving the ranch 3 years ago. What will it be like going back

On what can only be described as the worst days of their lives Delilah and Sebastian meet at a hospital its a quick encounter but one that will have lasting effects. Months later Sebastian takes his 2 little girls to the Rose Ridge Ranch he needs to recharge and this seems like the perfect place.
Dililah's family run the Ranch and for the last 3 years she's been estranged from them but now she needs her family more than ever and is hoping they can all build bridges. When fate steps in and leads Sebastian and Delilah back to each other are they both willing to open up their hearts to the endless possibilities that lay ahead.
A great start to the new series from Liz Lovelock and I cannot wait for more.

I had been looking forward to this book and storey as soon as i had read the synopsis and it didn’t disappoint at all.
This book for me really pulled out the emotions and i really loved every bit of it. This story was touching and i will admit a few times i had some tears but some of them were of happiness when things came together for both the characters.
I loved Sebastian what he went through was heartbreaking and so was Delilah’s and the way these characters came together and the sort of twist was so good. I also really loved Delilah’s huge family and what the ranch they own stands for.
This book was super special and so sweet i loved every bit of this story and can’t wait for more.
If your after a sweet, clean romance story that will touch your heart then this book is for you.

This book had a lot of potentials, but I felt as though because of its length, it went way too quickly and a lot of things felt rushed.
I was very intrigued by the story and what brought the two MCs together. However, I felt like some things could have been explored and explained more. In the end, I still had some questions.
Don’t get me wrong, Delilah and Sebastian were great together. I just found their love story to be a bit unrealistic, and given their respective pasts, it moved too fast for my liking. I also wish that we could see more of their individual healing.
This is not to take away from the author’s writing. She is an amazing writer! If shorter, fast-paced stories are your niche, you will enjoy this one more than I do.

I really loved this book. It's so beautiful! This pulled on the heartstrings. There is so much heart and feels in this book. It's packed full of greatness. I loved Delilah and Sebastian together. They both offer a healing touch the other needs. The little girls are so adorable. Cuteness overload for sure! A lot healing in more ways than one for Delilah. Coming home is exactly what she needs. I love the work the ranch does. Really inspiring! I'm really looking forward to more from this series. I can tell you I'm already a huge fan of Rose Ridge Ranch!!

The One to Heal is book one in the Rose Ridge Ranch series and each book will be able to be read as a standalone and will be about different siblings. This series started off really good and hooked you throughout the whole book. Sebastian and Deliahah both have some sad stories they experience and it will amaze you how fate intertwines their lives. It was eye opening in many ways and sad in others. You see how their story helps heal them and others. I am excited to see how the rest of the Ranch story plays out.

I've only read a few books by the author but this book definitely caught my attention. I fell in love with Delilah, Sebastian and his two little girls. This is emotional with a capital E. Their backstories will break your heart but mend them back together once they heal each other. It's one beautiful journey that will capture your attention and heart. It's a guarantee. I loved their story from the start until the end. This is a must-read if you haven't read anything from the author. This will not be your last book. I can't wait for more from the series.

Wow! I was a bundle of emotion through this entire book. My heart broke first for Sebastian and then for Delilah. And then by the end my heart was repaired and all was right. Diving in to Rose Ridge Ranch was amazing!

This story had me a mess. I found it very emotional but also gave me hope and happiness. Sebastian and Delilah are truly amazing people and deserve to find happiness together. It is just so beautiful to see characters healing and loving together.
