Homeschooling is on the rise. After the pandemic exposed many flaws in the public education system, more and more American parents are seeking better options. But what about those who cannot afford private schools and have no access to good charter schools? It's never been a better time for home education. Parents from any background, with any income level, can give their children the best education possible by utilizing affordable tools within their community. From libraries to book sales and internet options, homeschooling has never been easier, and best of all, parents can do it for less than 5% of the costs that public schools spend on average per student.

If you are thinking about homeschooling or already are, it’s always helpful to find resources to help trim costs. Ms. Baumgartner gives you a variety of ways to save money so that homeschooling isn’t a financial burden by utilizing the free or inexpensive resources available to you.
Are you teaching a child who is in Kindergarten? Maybe you are teaching a high school student. This book covers all of the grades, plus resources for post high school. I recommend you read this helpful book before purchasing all of your curricula. Ms. Baumgartner’s ideas will save you money.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book. I was not expected to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
Homeschooling on a budget is a nonfiction self-help book teaching parents how to homeschool their children based on either having the inability to send them to private school or just preference. Not only is it hard to make this decision, but also you need to have the discipline to implement such structural learning. For this reason, it is very useful to have a book such as this one guiding you with the steps you need to cover and at least know about.
I found the literature to be helpful but also informative and educational. What I liked about it was how organized it was. It is apparent how much care and organization has gone into producing it.
I recommend this book to parents who are considering homeschooling.
By far one of the best books on the subject. Many people completely write off homeschool as on option due to what they think is a money pit,, but this book proves it can be done at any financial level. Insightful and helpful as well as straightforward. A great primer for beginning a homeschooling journey. Can't recommend it enough. This gets an A+.
