Raven and Charger❤️
Raven is the next Mates book which I thoroughly enjoyed❣️As per usual Steve is up to his usual tricks but Susan is not far behind, hanging on his coattails so to speak with her humour. At the end of the previous book, disaster befell the Warriors when some of their fellow friends and Warriors were lost in an explosion😢
This book follows on from that disaster with Raven learning the truth to something that happened years ago and tracking down the person responsible for the explosion. We also get a closer look at Daniel and his unique gifts and of course Susan and Ryker flirting😉 I’m keen to get to Ryker’s book next and find out what happens to him and Susan😍 A great story and series and characters that I absolutely adore and will continue to follow.

BEST BOOKS EVER!
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It grabs a hold of you from page one. It will not let you go at all. You have to keep reading till you are done. It is after 1:00 am, I should be in bed. I just had to finish this book. This is Raven’s book. You will find that others play a big roll in it also. Susan is a spitfire that will crack you up. I freaking laughed out loud and snorted. I may have even piddled a bit. I also cried. Those that follow my reviews know I love a book that brings out many emotions. This will put you through the ringer. When Raven went through the Gauntlet I felt like I was run over by a train. Raven is one badass vampire! I can not wait for Ryker’s book. . Raven is such a wild ride. The emotions spent whilst reading will ruin you for your next book. I had a serious book hangover.

Let me just say I loved every book I read by her but Raven was more, 5 stars seems like it's not enough to express how fabulous this story is.

Good read
This was one of the better written books in this series. Didn't find the errors which seem to plague this series.

Not sure why this was called Raven - read on KU
Don’t believe the 4.8 stars this book currently has. The high reviews are clearly from die hard fans that don't seem to mind a book being rushed to release with poor content and worse editing. This book was a huge disappointment. There is almost no development of a relationship between Raven and Charger. They get about 5 pages together? Probably a few more, but not many.
Some spoilers here, but not about the outcome.
The first half of the book is about Raven's initiation. It is boring. So boring. And after they go through initiation, Sloan decides initation wasn't severe enough, so anyone who passed initiation has to fight one on one with every single person who failed and the trainers. And if they aren't standing at the end, they failed. Seemed like an excuse for Raven to have to show how bug and bad she was again. The female empowerment thing got old.
So we get past that, and the book switches to be more about Susan than Raven and nothing just a tiny bit about Charger.
Raven is not likeable in any part of this book. She is better at the end. She has such a large chip on her shoulder she can't speak without coming across as a **tch. (A woman can be hard core and lethal without the attitude.) I didn't understand why Charger or Raven would want to be with the other one. I can't underscore how little of this book was about them. There is one sex scene between them but it was emotionless to me because they had barely spoken to each other with any kindness in the entire book.
And then there was the grammar and typos. While her books have never been perfect, this one was particularly bad. There was a 4 sentence paragraph mid book with 3 errors. Typos such as ideal instead of ideas. Wrong words used where autocorrect had probably chosen the wrong word. What I don't understand about these errors is there are free tools authors can use that would clean up most of them. No editor needed. Microsoft Word with the free Grammerly add on really would have caught most of it. Even if she doesn't want to write there, cut and paste the whole thing in and then out before publishing. I don't see that publishing books in this condition is anything other than lazy. Or being short on time. If it is the later, hire someone. A fan would probably do it for free. So frustrating.

I was so excited to read this book. Charger and Raven have such a crazy love story they needed 2 books and I sure am thrilled with how it all turned out.
Charger has loved her but feared what her dad, Jared, would say so he pushed her away after breaking her heart all the time. Now we talked about this in Chargers book so I won’t give him such a hard time. This book Raven was finding what made her happy and maybe it will be with Charger and maybe not.
I don’t think anyone has really known all the stuff that has been going against Raven her whole life. I think this book eyes opened to what she has lived through and how strong of a woman she is.
I loved seeing her strength and passion shine through for her team Katrina, Daniel and newbie Stan. She has more heart than most know and can see. This book made my love for her grow. She is a woman but she is also not. She is a Warrior, but she is also a Dark Guardian. She is a friend, and her loyalty is not ever to be questioned,
She is one bad a$$ Bish and I loved this book so damn much. I loved seeing the men all respect her as the women and warrior she is.
I am going to be waiting like crazy for Ryker’s book with Susan. This is one wild ride the Warriors and Guradians are on and I am here for it!!

This book produced a lot of emotion from me. After trainees face the initiation to become a Warrior, the phase is changed as Sloan decides it was not enough. I have a problem with that because it is unfair to change the criteria which has already been met. He should have made the initiation include more physical fighting if that was what he wanted to prove, which seems unnecessary for his trainees as they fight and train together. It seemed to me he was just saying Katrina wasn't ready. I found the gauntlet barbaric, not just for the female participants. Additionally, it doesn't make sense that someone who failed the initial initiation was allowed to participate. Sloan sometimes frustrates me. I've been a Raven fan for a long time and love the story with Charger. What is even more fun is how Raven is learning to develop female friendships. I loved this book so much!!

Loved Raven she's such a badass who's so much like her father with her wit and attitude, but also strong and independent like her mother too. I bloody love her.
I'm so pleased to see her and Charger finally cutting through all the BS and getting together, they're perfect for each other.
I have to say how much I loved Susan in this story, she's freaking hilarious and I'm hoping she gets those cobwebs blown away with the help of Ryker.
18 books in and these Vampires still get my heart racing. The fantastic storylines deliver a perfect blend of danger, drama, steam and witty humour which I absolutely love. It's why I'll always come back for more.
Can't wait for Ryker's story.

WOW!! What a rush. A lot is revealed in Raven. I have a better understanding of the tension created between Charger and Raven. Loved it when they started to steam up the pages with lost instead of frustration.
Teresa Gabelman didn't disappoint. There was a lot of interaction between many of the warriors and their mates. Raven's speech defending the men after a certain incident had me wanting to stand up and applaud. She is so much more than I thought she could ever be.
It wouldn't be a Protector book with out some sort of issue. Get out the Holy Water. You will need it for this story.
Can I just say the ending was so unexpected. Thank goodness there is only a little over a month until Ryker releases.

I had the honor to beta read for Teresa Gabelman’s The Protectors Raven. I think I��m still recovering! This is the absolute best book Teresa has ever written…I know, I say that about all her books…but…Raven is a book that gives you all the feels! I have ugly cried, I have chewed my fingernails down to nubs and I had to change my underwear multiple times…because (1) I laughed so hard I…well you get the idea and (2) WHEW…hottest sexy time EVER!! The Protectors Raven will be available July 30th…but you can preorder today. My suggestion..put on some depends, grab a box of tissues and buckle your seatbelt…cause you’re in for the ride of your life!

A strong, loyal, independent woman.
Raven hasn't had a easy life, with challenges most have never faced. But she overcomes them, to the point others fail to see the effect it has on her.
Challenger has always loved her, but believes she would be better off without him. Sigh.
No spoilers, but this story is without doubt the best of the Protectors series so far. Fast paced, both funny and sad, it kept me glued until the end. Although it did leave me with the desire to do something very nasty (and painful), to Kent.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
I couldn't wait for Raven to come out and it was so much more than I ever could have imagined. I couldn't put it down! Spent the entire day on the Saturday it was released just reading. I didn't want it to end, was actually dreading it because I knew I'd have to wait for the next one. But it is always well worth the wait.
Whenever Teresa releases a new Protectors book I am like a kid on Christmas morning with that overwhelming excitement. That hasn't changed from book 1 all the way up too now with Book 18.
I couldn't wait for Raven to come out and it was so much more than I ever could have imagined. I couldn't put it down! Spent the entire day on the Saturday it was released just reading. I didn't want it to end, was actually dreading it because I knew I'd have to wait for the next one. But it is always well worth the wait.

Holy Cow!!! That was great!!
I have been disgusted with Charger for a long time. He was hurting and scared but really. He was ridiculous. Susan is back. Love her!!! She is quirky and hilarious. She really is a female Steve. Raven is totally amazing. She took Katrina under her wing. Daniel. Can't wait for his story. Ryker is pretty cool. Raven meets an old enemy. There are several fights. It was great. Loved it. Love Raven. Charger is starting to be okay. Sloan! Holy cow. Do Not Skip this book. You will not regret it.

It’s all about reckoning for former Dark Guardian, Raven as it’s time for VC initiation and a showdown with the way Charger McNeil had been treating her. But after several come to Jesus meetings, Charger straightens up in time for Lana’s partner, Susan, and Ryker’s diversion, to stumble while helping Raven investigate the wedding bombing.
This outing has plenty of action and for anyone who did not know just how bad ass Raven is, will get a clue in this outing and she becomes a cause the mates can unite and fight about.

This outing has plenty of action and for anyone who did not know just how bad ass Raven is, will get a clue in this outing and she becomes a cause the mates can unite and fight about.

Badass!!
Raven is a total badass! Protective, loyal, strong and above all, focused on getting her heart and soul stronger and mended. Charger, after finally getting his head out his butt, realised Raven was slipping away from not only him but life also. He stops being an A-hole and starts being who she needs. This book ends with questions but for different characters. Loved it all.

Omg Raven was amazing
Loved Ravens story ,the plot was well written and I couldn't put it down read it late into the night till I finished it , Charger was mean ,moody, and hot as hell, he loved Raven but wouldn't commit because of his fear of losing her ,she blamed herself for the death of her friend and she changed so much and couldn't get beyond it ,both her and Charger deserved their HEA ,I can't wait to find out about Ryker and Susan in the next book .

Love this series
I love the stories of the VC Warriors and the Guardians. This book centered on Raven and was such a good read. She's strong and determined and it makes for a hell of a Warrior. She and Charger finally quit circling each other and end up mating. In the meantime one of her human friends is taken by a demon and Ryker manages to enter the realm with them to rescue Susan. I look forward to reading each book and this one doesn't disappoint.

Amazing as always
I have wait in my for Raven to tell her story for so long now, that I was amazed. Raven is my favorite warrior female. I can't wait for Jill's story. Teresa you ate an amazing writer. All you books in the protector series as me a fly on wall watching your stories come to life. I can't wait for the next.

Teresa does it again!!
Just when you think Teresa has written her best book ever she surprises you with another, Raven is so awesome, and Steve doesn't fail to make you laugh, with his witty remarks, and I'm convinced Susan is his doppelganger in a female version.
Can't wait for the next book.

Great read.
I have read all of the series and I must say....Im in love with all of the characters!! I mostly love the fact that you got to meet the mates in each others story. The only thing I would have done differently is making Jard lose Tessa..he was an ass for no reason and she deserved to be happy like the other girls.

Raven
Never read a book by Theresa Gabelman I didn’t love. I did love this book but it wasn’t as heart wrenching as the last one.
Still had the humor that has me laughing out loud. And Susan definitely has a female Steve vibe going.
So I’m guessing Ryker or Jake has a story coming next and darn if it won’t be hard to wait.
Wish this series was made into a TV show. 😜

Disappointing
Up til now I've loved every book in this series but maybe it's either past it's well by date or Theresa Gableman is running out of ideas.Theresa hardly any storyline & what there was of it was tellingly obvious . I will probably but next in the series just because I've stuck with it so long & one mediocre book is easily forgiven if the next is fantastic

Fantastic as always!
I've been waiting excitedly for Ravens full story and it did not disappoint! I love Charger and Ravens relationship.
The humor that is always Teresa Gableman was the best and hearing Susan called a female version of Steve was on point. Her and Rykers story is going to be awsome!

My new favourite..
Love all the books but there's just something about a female character that can kick ass better than a bloke or better powers that makes better reading lol Loved Susan in this book so can't wait for the next book .. wish this had been longer though but I say that about them all because I don't want them to end 🙂

Worth the wait
This is my 💩 I've been hoping and waiting on this story and the smile has not left my face. I've cried for Raven cried with her and cried because of her. I'm such an emotionally emotional reader. Love this story with everything in me. wait I have to move to the next one I waited to read it because I knew she was gonna be that bad a$$ witch.😁

Kickass with a heart
Raven is so cool in a crisis, I'm so happy she finally got her man, the author has really built an amazing world in the protectors realm, every book has been a joy to read, well written with great storylines, each and every one, the characters all have their own personalities that play into each story, please make this into a tv show.
