Needing Neor
When Captain Neor Benning gets a cryptic message from an old friend that he needs help, Neor's on the first transport plan to Madagascar. Only, when he gets there his friend is no where to be found. Instead Neor found out his friend didn't send the message at all. He has half a mind to turn around and get right back on the next plane for the states. Until he learns what his buddy had been up to.
India Holland came to Madagascar to help her brother find out who killed their father. However, when she arrived, her brother had disappeared. The only clue she has is a map and note from her brother stating if anything happened to him to call Neor. So that's exactly what she did, only Neor doesn't seem to know anything and the second he lands, bullets start flying.

India Holland travels to Madagascar after a very cryptic conversation with her brother, Nepal regarding their father's death. When she arrives, she finds her brother is now missing. He hasn't been seen for at least two days and he never checked out of the hotel. She needed her brother's things and to get them she pays not only for her own room but what her brother owed as well. Fortunately, he left a note for her with his belongings which is why they brought her his belongings. The note instructs her to text his friend and teammate Neor and wait for him to arrive.
Both Neor and Nepal are Army Rangers on medical leave from their last assignment. Nepal was using that time to be with his father, while Neor went to his family. When he gets the text from who he thought was Nepal, he immediately travels to Madagascar. He's more than a little surprised to find it was Nepal's sister India who sent the text and the reason why. He would protect India until they found Nepal and got answers. The problem for him is that he's been a little in love with her since the first time they met.
Neor makes the decision to stay in her room and work on getting into her brother's computer. What he finds surprises him, and against his better judgement he shares what he can with India to calm her down.
There is nothing straight forward in what they need to do to find Nepal. There's also the problem that her father probably isn't dead either, just missing as well.
Plenty of action, suspense, romance and sizzle in this page-turning read.

Another exciting story in the “Hot Hunks” series. India Holland was contacted by her brother, Nepal, to notify her that their father had been murdered. She has worked for her father who ran a worldwide organization to aid the less fortunate. When she arrives in Madagascar, her brother is missing and has left a note telling her to contact Captain Neor Benning. Neor is currently on leave from Delta Force and has worked with Nepal who is with the Army Rangers. As India and Neor work together they must rely on local help, but not always knowing if they can trust that help. There are many layers to this twisted tale as everyone they come in contact with seems to have their own agenda. All they can do is follow the map and clues from Nepal, count on the intel that Casey (his brother Ledger’s friend) provides and hope they come out of this adventure alive. This was an intricate, devious little book. I loved following the breadcrumbs as Neor and India uncovered them and piecing the resulting puzzle together. I also got such a kick out of watching the pair trying, and failing, to resist the chemistry between them. My only issue is that there are a lot of players in this dangerous game, and I found that my brain didn’t do such a fantastic job of keeping track of all of them and their relations to one another. All in all, I adored seeing another Bale sibling find their Happily Ever After and it was a lot of fun to kind of check in on the rest of the family, too

India has been called to Madagascar from Cambodia by her brother. Upon arriving, she finds not only her brother missing but nothing about the fact her father is presumed dead. As she pays for her brother’s room, she gets his belongings which he has requested she use his phone and send the message he has drafted to Neor Benning who works for Delta Force. When Neor arrives, he doesn’t find his friend but India instead. As details are worked through, nothing is making sense. Lots of characters and mystery as you following the trail laid out for these two. There are several unanswered questions that get answered. A lot packed into these pages.

A fast fun read that is perfect for when you are short on time

I received this ARC for an honest review

Together they must unravel where her brother is or who took him. With Secrets coming out of the wood work. They must be quick or they too could get caught up in this mystery.

India goes to Madagascar to meet her brother because her father is missing. Only once she arrives, her brother is also missing. Thankfully in her brother's belongings, there was a note to contact a friend, Neor, to help. When she calls, she has to use specific words to make sure Neor would come. Lots of twists and turns. You will never guess the ending...well other than the HEA. Suspense and romance. Could be read as a stand alone, but I was a bit lost in the beginning. Best to read them in order.

India has gotten a message from her brother that she needs to come to Madagascar. When she gets there both her brother and father are missing. In one clue her brother leaves her is the number to call Neor for help. Neor gets the message but thinks it's her brother asking for help, so he goes. This book is full of secrets, lies, twists and turns and bullets flying with some action thrown in and some great chemistry between the two.

Neor a Delta Force operator and friend with India’s brother Nepal India works for her father’s organization ( Holland Organization) and is Nepal’s sister. Lots of things happening in India’s life, her brother called her to come to Madagascar on family matters and thrown in criminal dealings of Some people. This book is action packed, page turner, twists , turns and lots of secrets. Good Book !!!

I was intrigued from the beginning when India couldn’t find her brother after he told her to come to Madagascar. She messaged her brother’s friend Neor, that he needed him. Thinking it was his friend he came to help. Follow along as Noer and India try to figure out what is happening, the book has action from the beginning to the end. Need a new book or author to read? This is just the book that will hook you.

Pretty good book with some action towards the end. India gets a strange message from her brother, Nepal, to come to Madagascar. When she gets there he's not there, someone else is in his room. When Neor shows up after the secret message she sent him, they try putting clues together. A lot of secrets, lies and misunderstandings. HEA.

I love Jen Talty's books. However, Needing Neor seemed rushed. A lot of little pieces that became confusing at times. The author managed to pull all the pieces together by the end. Neor and India have little character depth. The story was entertaining. I received a copy, and I'm voluntarily giving my honest review.

I voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. The attraction between India and Neor was always there but never acted on until he comes to help her in Madagascar. Family secrets are finally revealed to India along with some secrets in the Madagascar government and smuggling. It's a tough few days for them but they come out together in a strong relationship blessed by India's family.

This is an intriguing story with lots of twist and turns. The plot is well developed and had my interest from the first page to the last. The characters are captivating and had plenty of spark. There is enough action, suspense, mystery, romance and drama to keep you reading.

This was a fun, gripping, and fast-moving story. I was intrigued from the very beginning and found the plot to be well thought-out and engaging. I liked the chemistry and banter between Neor and India. There was a good mix of romance and intrigue, which is my favorite combination. The story moved quickly, and I was never bored. Looking forward to more in this series!

When India Holland’s brother Nepal called her with the news of their father Laos’ death in Madagascar, she dropped what she was doing in Cambodia and went to help Nepal in Nose Bay, Madagascar. Expecting him to have a driver waiting for her at the airport and not finding one, she found a van for Blue Paradise, the resort where he was staying and climbed in. What she didn’t expect was to be ghosted once she arrived and Nepal was nowhere to be found. What she did get was cryptic instructions to contact his army buddy Captain Neor Benning for help because Nepal felt he was in danger. Now it’s up to Neor to help keep India safe while searching for Nepal and figure out what is going on.
