Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰
Another will written mystery romantic relationship family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Sage Parker (Outer Banks Mystery book 5). Laura and Harry return to the Outer Banks with the missing friend. They meet with the police, family, and friends all does not go well as the friend is accused of being a contact with the kidnapping organization. Continued in book six. I would recommend this novella series and author to 👍 readers of mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶 to Alexa read books 📚. 2023 👒😉😀🌙

Wow, what a twisted mess, this story just gets more intense and complicated. This series should be read in order they are not standalone books. And to think that Laura thought going back home to a quiet life caring for her mother. Will Harry and Laura find happiness? What about the missing children? What about Chloe? Full of suspense and no shortage of drama. Can't wait until the six and final book to find out the rest of the story. I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

Chloe's Story . . .
Chloe, known here as Sylvia Sands, pointed a weapon at Laura and Harry, apparently not recognizing either one of them, her schoolmates from 20 years ago before she disappeared. Laura sat on a barstool and poured a couple glasses of wine, and in shock, Chloe dropped the shotgun and whispered Laura’s name. Chloe told her she had not been kidnapped, that her father had to leave to keep her safe, but she wouldn’t say anything more. But Laura remembered Chloe’s mom breaking down on TV as she begged for information about Chloe’s kidnapping.
They stayed overnight with Chloe. Laura noticed her “panic room” which was stocked with food. They went shopping and Chloe played a cassette player so no one could track the electronics! But she wouldn’t explain who might be trying to do that. But on the way back from the store, she drove to a cemetery and told Laura and Harry that her father had told her that her mom was murdered and he had watched it happen as they threw her body into the ocean – and they were now in witness protection from the cartel. And Chloe tried to figure out who was lying to her as Harry handed his phone over with videos of her mom on her world cruise.
The story continues to reveal more and more of a confusing situation. Greta is still keeping in touch with Harry and Laura as they try to figure out the entire story and how it all ties together. Grab your copy and dive into this thrilling mystery. You will not want to stop reading until the last page as you wait for more to come!

My Sentiments:
What will we find in this series as we go into An Outer Banks Mystery Book 5? Yes, another 'mystery romantic relationship with family and friends will be found in this short thriller adventure that will keep one turning the pages. Now Laura and Harry have returned from Alaska with their missing friend, Chloe. What has This poor girl been through? Lots of lies and deceit all around her seem like a mess. And besides that, she told Laura and Harry her new name was Sylvia Sands!
And their friend will be accused of being in contact with this kidnapping organization. So, the story will
continue. Was Chloe involved in this mess? There will be much upheaval and intrigue that will be coming in the next Book 6. So get ready! You, the rea er, will be k t 'guessing, making predictions' while trying to figure out what is happening with these characters.' What's up with Laura's mom? As it seems, she has feelings for her doctor. We will hear more about that in the last Book, 6... the ending!

So finally got book five and OMG read it in one sitting....we now know about more missing and found children some who are now adults. Know that the cartel is involved and trouble is brewing. Know more clues found and questions asked. This series is fantastic and I can't wait to get book 6 and finish. How will Sage ever get everyone out safe and let them live great lives. What I like most about Sage's books is how she can make us feel like the characters are friends of ours and we are looking at them through a view finder but know all about them intricately.

Holy wow this fifth book takes the whole series to a new level and it is so far the one that has the most action, the most secrets, and the most mystery. Someone from the past resurfaces and it throws all your thought you knew into chaos. I flew through this one even faster than I did the previous books and it’s because the action never stopped and I couldn’t wait to find out where the story was going. With the return of a main character everything is in upheaval. Now onto the sixth and final book.

Another wonderful book to the series! The author does a fantastic job pulling you right into the story and had me glued to the pages right to the end and still left with wanting more! The scenes are painted perfectly and the story moves quickly and smoothly. It's filled with secrets. twists, suspense and is an awesome read. I can't wait for the next book!

Book Five sees Laura and Harry finding Chloe in Alaska but she seems nervous to be found by them. Chloe decides to travel home with Laura and Harry when she finds her father had lied about her mother. Laura finds her mother ready for her heart surgery when she arrives home. The book ends in a jaw dropping cliffhanger.

This has been one amazing series. There are twists and turns on every page. The mystery and suspense has continued throughout all 5 books. Each book has delivered on levels. I'm on the edge of my seat for book 6 to answer so many questions. Sage Parker has done a wonderful job keeping me in suspense!.

Wow, this was a great part of the story. Reuniting the friends and building that trust again and then bringing Chloe home! And then the last couple chapters continues this very interesting mystery. Wonderful continuation of the story. There is some Intrigue and suspense that keeps you reading every page until the end. Interesting characters. Like a small town setting because it adds an unexpected twist to the story as far as characters and location. Good read.

Oh my gosh! What a great book and a page turner
My biggest gripe is having to read 6 books to get the whole story! Right when something big happens in this mystery, the book ends! 20 min later I start the next one!

WOW!!!
Wow, I was on the edge of my seat reading this book. Harry and Laura found Chloe. Laura’s mom needs open heart surgery and she is in love with the surgeon. What more can be going on. It seems there is a lot more coming up. Looking forward to reading the next book
