After being widowed and surviving the wrath of a serial killer, Jessica believes her misfortunes are over. She’s reunited with her first love, Jon, and together, with her son Bryce, and a baby on the way, they’re living their happily ever after on their ranch in Montana. That is until secrets, lies, and a formidable foe from Jon’s past emerge to shake the foundation of their relationship, forcing them to flee for their lives.
A decade earlier, Jon worked undercover for the FBI. He infiltrated Hugh Jones’ Kansas City Mob, and almost destroyed his empire. Unaware of the breech in his own defenses, Hugh, obsessed with revenge, unleashes every weapon in his arsenal, targeting those Jon loves the most.

Fatal Hunt is a spine-tingling romantic thriller I devoured. There are three things I look for in a romantic thriller: a believable plot, engaging characters, and amped-up suspense. This book nails these three elements. The plot is believable and deals with criminal activity ripped from the headlines. The characters are engrossing, and I connected with Jessica right away. Jon has some serious deception going on and it drove the plot. The bad guys are downright evil and I hated them with every page I read. The secondary characters filled out the cast nicely and added an additional level of tension to the story. The suspense was first-rate and Michelle Godard-Richer layered on the suspense through classic methods which kicked up my adrenaline. As I read each chapter, I became so invested in the story and the characters, I couldn’t help but whip through the pages. My heart raced and I couldn’t stop reading. Michelle Godard-Richer has penned a superb romantic thriller and I can’t wait to read more from her. If you’re a fan of this genre, pick up Fatal Hunt. Highly recommend!
Disclaimer: I received a copy from the author in the hopes I'd review it. My thoughts are all my own.
This book could just as easily be titled “Who Do You Trust?” Jessica and Jon Kent are pursued almost from the very beginning by mobsters seeking revenge. The pair and their extended family are chased from a remote setting in Montana, to Canada, then back to multiple locations in the states. But it turns out they’re not the only ones looking back over their shoulders. A paranormal visitor makes timely appearances, often when you least expect it.
Godard-Richer does a thorough job drawing the reader in with her characters. The settings are well described, where the chill of a Canadian winter can be felt while reading this in the middle of the summer.
If you are considering reading my award-winning debut thriller, or have read my book, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. As much as we weave strands of fiction together in the writing process, a part of ourselves will always translate onto the page.
My love of crime, human behavior, and my undying belief in the power of unconditional love carried into my Fatal Series. Yes, that's right, SERIES! There will be a book two next year entitled, Fatal Witness. It is written, under contract, and in the editing process. I'm currently writing book three.
Thank you for reading books and giving us writers a forum to publish our stories.
A fun read for sure. I loved the characters, the suspense, and the paranormal aspect that Michelle Godard-Richer brings in Fatal Hunt. Definitely add to your reading list.
I love, love this this author!! Her books are the best!! This book kept me up all night, even if I could put it down, I would just lie awake thinking about it!! A must read!!!!!
Jessica and Jon and their 8-year-old son Bryce are on the run for their lives. From their home to hotels to safe houses that aren’t safe, there are thugs and killers everywhere. And the only thing keeping them safe is the ghost of Jessica’s first husband, Adam with his timely alerts.
The characters and situations are realistic - maybe a little too realistic for me at time - which means they are excellently written. And they are. The terror, the love, the anxiety… all the emotions are drawn out of the characters and come across perfectly.
One tiny nit—and it is tiny—is that there is a definite thread left dangling at the end so you know there is more to come for this family. This part of the story ends well, but their ordeal isn’t over yet.
Recommendation: If you like thrillers with a touch of romance, pick this one up. You won’t be disappointed.

I need to take a breather after reading Fatal Hunt by Michelle Godard-Richer. I flew through this page-turner because I was trapped in the grip of the suspense! There are some books where you MUST know what happens next and this one had me in its clutches from cover to cover. It starts with a bang that turns out to be an emotional rollercoaster leaving the station. If you want a heart-pounding escape from your world, dive into this one.
Fraught with danger, I was delighted Godard-Richer took the time to flesh out her characters. I was gripped by Jessica's story and felt immersed in her journey. I was rooting for her from page one. As the stakes rose higher and higher, I feared for her safety. The twists of loyalty and paranormal surprises kept me guessing until the last page. What surprises? Sorry no spoilers here!
Overall, I highly recommend this quick read for those who like their books like amusement park rides – mind-racing, spine-chilling, and pulse-pounding in all the best ways.
FATAL HUNT, the new novel by Michelle Goddard-Richer is a dandy cat-and-mouse tale, if the cat is a ruthless mob boss and the mice are a former FBI agent and his pregnant wife. Jon Kent went deep undercover in the Kansas City mob and collected enough dirt to bring down mob boss, Hugh Jones. Once out of the haunting assignment, Jon has left the FBI to start his new life in the quiet land of Montana. The only problem is Jones got enough evidence thrown out and is free…and will stop at nothing to get revenge on Jon. The author throws the reader right in the middle of Jon and Jessica’s troubles and at first, I did a bit a floundering (only a bit) but I got my reading legs under me and was off. The story has quite the cast of characters, both good and bad, and the reader needs to focus to fill in the proverbial scorecard. The author juggles multiple POV’s from Jon and Jessica to the humanized villain Hugh Jones, as well as a few others, and manages to find a different voice for each. The tale includes plenty of twists and turns and just when the reader thinks it’s over, it’s not. The author has another surprise. This is more thriller and suspense than mystery and for sure, bad things happen—murder, assassination, kidnapping, brutal assault (though none of it is gratuitous)—and good people die. Several times I caught myself holding my breath to see if Jessica’s young son from her first marriage, Bryce, was going to survive unharmed. Everyone doesn’t. The author has even included a few small paranormal elements to the telling which I particularly enjoyed. If you’re looking for a good ride along with some characters you’ll like to get to know, pick up a copy of FATAL HUNT. You won’t be disappointed.
Michelle Godard-Richer’s Fatal Hunt introduces us to a family with more than its share of troubles. Heroine Jessica is expecting her second child. Her first husband, with whom she had her eldest child—Bryce—has passed away and her new husband, Jon, is a retired FBI agent whose first wife mysteriously vanished, and who is now in hiding having drawn the wrath of a powerful mobster. Jessica herself has a past experience being stalked by a serial killer and Bryce is the past victim of a kidnapping. But as the novel opens, all of that is behind them. But only for a moment. The family’s bucolic lifestyle on a ranch in Montana is violently disrupted when the mobster discovers their whereabouts and the hunt begins as he sends team after villainous team to kill Jon. Aided by family, fellow FBI agents, and even a supernatural guardian, the family’s flight takes them across the country, into Canada, back to Kansas City, and even to Hawaii as they struggle to keep themselves alive and their family intact.
The plot is nicely twisty, and the action is furious. The climax, which involves multiple points of view, is especially well handled proving Godard-Richer to be an adroit hand in creating suspense. There were a couple of plot points that I feared were orphaned until the last chapter when it is revealed that there is much more in store for this family as the novel ends with a lead-in to what I trust will be a sequel. I can’t wait.
Fatal Hunt grabs readers from the start and keeps their interest. This character-drawn crime fiction has lots of moving parts for readers who like fast-paced books. The plot undulates.
I especially enjoyed getting to know the cast of characters and guessing throughout if all of them are as loyal (or wicked) as they seem to be. Godard-Richer has a knack for creating likable personalities and deplorable villains (some maturing from one category to the next). There's even a touch of the paranormal with the ghost of a past love flitting in with some clues.
A great debut novel from an author to keep your eyes on. An easy read, this story flows smoothly and is well-written. Enjoyed.
Jessica and Jon both bring a dangerous load of baggage from their pasts. Both lost their first spouse in violent situations but reconnected with each other creating a family with Jessica's young son and their baby on the way. The author does an excellent job of weaving their back stories into this debut novel so although you are catapulted into the middle of a tangle of loose ends, you have some understanding of how the characters got to this point. This is a fast paced, don't want to put it down thriller filled with danger, helpful relatives, a ghost and a mysterious avenging woman. I can't wait for the next installment. I am hopeful we will see it in 2023. I received an ARC of this book and I highly recommend it.
Could not put this one down! I was so invested in the characters that I was actually tense worrying about them. The stakes keep rising higher as you go along, which is a bonus for a suspense. And the bad guy was so evil yet realistic. His scenes made chills run up my spine. The characters were fantastic and very relatable. The little boy was adorable. Loved the romance and the setting. Overall just a fabulous read.
A riveting romantic electrifying thriller, a remote location, and chased by crazed killers. The author skillfully pulls you into the story because her writing is captivating, well paced, and intense to the end. Excellent unexpected twists, complex characters, and prey on readers' most palable fears. Highly recommend
What an incredibly thrilling sequel to Fatal Witness by Michelle Godard-Richer. Jessica soon learns she and her new husband Jon, a former undercover FBI agent are still being hunted down by a mob boss, Hugh Jones and ex neighbour David. Having moved into safe houses and the threats and dangers seem to follow wherever they go. Is there a dirty FBI agent on the payroll. This is an excellent thriller that had me gripped. Awesome characters and settings with a suspenseful storyline. Top marks from me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jessica is trying to escape from a maniac. She is trying to protect herself and her family. She has been reunited with her Jon, her first love but the danger isn’t over. The plot is full of suspense, revenge, deception, secrets and It will keep you on the edge
Susie Black is at it again! Her newest release in the Holly Swimsuit Mystery series, Death by Pins and Needles, takes us back to the California Apparel Mart with Holly Schlivnik, the Yentas, Queenie, and the world of swimsuit fashion for another murder mystery, one that only Holly can solve. Holly Schlivnik and the Yentas join forces to withstand the competitive backstabbing that takes place at the California Apparel Mart. Enter Lissa (same as Melissa but leave off the Muh) Charney. Luck seems to follow Lissa as she moves from a successful job in sales for Barely There Swimwear to showroom manager with Royal Swimwear, so why does everyone hate her? Hmmm. When our hero, Holly, gets stuck in a marketing meeting, she has to rush back to the Mart for a late Friday afternoon meeting with “her majesty” Sue Ellen MaGee, a hard to please buyer. But Holly can’t find her keys to the office. When she goes in search of Lissa who has a spare, Holly finds something that makes her laugh hysterically. Yes, Holly has inherited her nana’s fear of death, and she overcompensates with nervous laughter, so when she finds Lissa’s bloody corpse, she does just that. When she finishes laughing, she calls 911. The police follow the clues, which leads them to former showroom manager, newly reinvented multi-line independent sales rep and mother of two, Joan Binder. Joan travels the roads in search of a sale. Where once she worked from a desk, she now works out her car and cheap hotel rooms. Demotion doesn’t begin to cover what Lissa has done to Joan. The police see motive written all over this woman, and the blood on her coveralls doesn’t help. When the police arrest Joan, Holly knows they have the wrong person, and she won’t let Joan take the fall for a murder she knows Joan didn’t commit. Holly goes on the hunt, but along the way she picks up enemies like lint on a mohair jacket. She can handle; hate mail, which don’t frighten her but provide clues, and she proves Joan’s innocence, which means the cops have to search harder for their perp. Holly has really stuck her chutzpah in it now. Our hero goes through a long list of haters who all have cause to snuff the cold-hearted Lissa, like Eileen, head of her own company, who fell in love with Lissa, but Lissa spurned her. Ah ha, your say. But then there is the handsome recipient of her love, Rez Javadi, or Bobby as he likes to be called, an immigrant who is in danger of losing his green card. He fears deportation, and Lissa refused to marry him to help out. Intriguing so far? This delightful cozy follows the intrepid Ms. Holly Schlevnik as she forges her way from clue to clue, against the wishes of LAPD homicide detective “AJ” Yakamura, and Holly does so with all the flair and humor that Suzie Black brings to her all her novels. Black has crafted another gem with Death by Pins and Needles. Fans will adore this fast-paced frolic through death, and readers new to Black will delight in her mastery with the cozy mystery genre. Death by Pins and Needles reads like a stand-alone novel but beware because you’ll want to read the first one, Death by Sample Size, too! Be prepared to read into the night, as Holly Schlivnik’s search for the murderer takes her to dark warehouses and dark, bankrupt businesses to solve the mystery of who murdered Lissa Charney. This is a riveting five-star read!
That’s how a series start!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Wow… what a ride! I devoured this book! It’s the book #1 of the Fatal series, and my first book by this author.
Let me tell you… Read.This.Book. It’s packed with twists, suspense, little romance, drama, revenge, this electrifying thriller on a remote location that will leave your heart beating so fast.
I really loved the writing style and the characters were very developed and very realistic. I found myself cheering for them, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
I definitely recommend this one. And I will start book #2 next🤗
This is technically book #1 in the Fatal series by Michelle Godard-Richer, however at the recommendation of the author, I read this second. Chronologically this makes more sense, but if you're reading these in the order they were published you'll be able to follow the storyline.
This installation in the trilogy is much more action packed as Jessica and Jon are no longer in the phase of reuniting in their relationship.
Just as they thought they could settle into their lives on the ranch a threat from Jon's past and he and his family have to go on the run unsure of who they can trust. I really enjoyed that aspect to this book. In addition to all of the fast paced action, there is a lot of speculation. You know there's an unknown woman who is mysteriously in the right place at the right time. On top of that the reader is tasked with wondering who the mole in the FBI is and who the inside man is in the mob.
Once you're all caught up with the first 2 books in this trilogy get ready because the 3rd installment releases on January 1, 2025.
An FBI and mob boss thriller with many subplots woven together in a tightly knit, action-packed story. Well-developed characters, supernatural elements, revenge, loss, love, and redemption. A great read!!
There was a lot I liked about Fatal Hunt by Michelle Godard-Richer, although the book is a slight departure from my usual dark, brooding crime fiction reading. First, this book delves into the paranormal, a realm I’m less than enamored with. I usually avoid books featuring otherworldly characters. Also, Fatal Hunt features romance prominently, another genre I’m largely disinterested in reading. Subgenre fusion in the realm of crime fiction is gaining popularity among authors these days, since it’s used by many to help their work stand out. I understand that, but perhaps my preference for logic and realistic explains my reticence to delve into the whimsical. My interests lie more in the traditional hard-boiled detective, police procedural, and darker crime thriller domains. But despite the recurring appearance of a ghostly apparition that really didn’t work for me, we spend the bulk of our time in the land of the living, for at its core Fatal Hunt is an action-packed thriller. That does work for me and is why I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
When the book opens, we meet Jessica Kent, her eight-year-old son Bryce and her husband Jon, a Montana rancher and former FBI special agent. Jessica and Jon are carrying a lot of baggage. This is the second marriage for both. Jessica’s first husband, Adam, was a police officer killed in the line of duty. And although she is married again and carrying her second child, she is still in love with the memory of her deceased first husband and hasn’t truly moved past his death. Jon has issues of his own. His first wife, Cynthia, disappeared without a trace and is now considered dead. Also, Jon resigned from the FBI because of the emotional trauma he suffered while working a deep undercover assignment. As much as Jon wishes to bury his past, there is a rich and powerful criminal from Jon’s undercover days who won’t let sleeping dogs lie. He is intent on exacting revenge. This puts Jon and his entire family squarely in the villain’s crosshairs and explains Cynthia’s disappearance. As the story plays out, Jessica and Jon attempt to cope with the menace, but things only go from bad to worse since Jon’s former colleagues at the FBI seem powerless to protect him and his family from the determined, vengeful antagonist.
I confess to skimming the romance parts of the story, which doesn’t have much to do with the unfolding plot, other than to add additional layers of characterization. But I absolutely enjoyed the action-packed thriller on offer here. Godard-Richer does a great job of setting a fast pace from the beginning that doesn’t let up until the very end. Her story-telling ability is powerful, and she offers us some very clever twists along the way. Clearly a talented and emotive writer, she gives us a supporting cast of well-rounded and engaging characters.
Besides the Kent family, we meet relatives of theirs, Jon’s mother, Sally and Jessica’s aunt, Debbie, one of my favorite characters in the book. Godard-Richer also introduces us to several of Jon’s former FBI colleagues who play integral roles in the story. Trent, one of the most notable FBI special agents, becomes a mainstay for the Kents when they most need it. The lead character Jessica drew me in, though she’s not altogether likeable or easy to get to know. Sometimes she appears a strong, independent woman and other times seems a mercurial person indulging in self-pity who doesn’t attract great empathy. But as the story progresses, she becomes less inconstant. Bryce Kent is also an interesting character. Often, children appearing in novels are only used as props unless the story centers on them. But here, Bryce is fully drawn, contributing character complete with a backstory. I didn’t enjoy the ghostly character as much as others might. First because of my disinterest in all-things-supernatural. But also, because it allows things to occur in the story that aren’t necessarily realistic or feasible. But despite my petty grievances, the plot is riveting and the core events are plausible. Neither the supernatural aspect nor the romance overwhelms the story unfolding here in any way that feels distracting. The author strikes a nice balance between the crimes at-hand and the usual personal stuff impacting on the characters’ lives.
If you enjoy a healthy serving of the paranormal and romance with your crime thrillers, you will love this book. Regardless, Fatal Hunt will appeal to anyone who loves a well written, action-packed and suspenseful thriller. The ending suggests we haven’t seen the last of the Kents and I’d happily read more from Michelle Godard-Richer.
I received a copy of the book from the publisher for review purposes.
The moment you let your inhibitions go and read this book for what it is; a fun, twisty mob romance thriller with paranormal aspects then you will very much enjoy the ride.
Granted I went into this book with a more serious approach and realized a couple chapters in I would have to relax a little on my expectations. I was able to make it through based on how much action this little book packed into it. I am not exaggerating when I say every other chapter felt like something was happening and I needed to continue on to see what happened next.
It felt like General Hospital and Port Charles in a book.
We follow Jessica and Jon (J squared as I was calling them) on their long adventure of bad luck and misfortunes when Jon’s skeletons come falling out of his closet. A notorious mob lord wants to take Jon down for his inside work and he will stop at nothing until the deed is finished.
Every time you think you know how things will turn out Michelle (our lovely author!) is quick to throw a curve ball. Three times I was surprised. I never felt bored, I was never given a chance to be, let alone take a breath. In a way that was the downfall of this book for me. I wanted to be able to breathe for a moment with the characters.
However, I can seriously appreciate an author who isn’t afraid to throw everything (including the kitchen sink!) at her characters.
I didn’t love it, I certainly didn’t hate it, it just sits in the middle for me.
With slower pacing, more character development, no pregnancy trope, and a few less cities this book would have been an easy four star and above for me.
** There are some triggers in the book to be aware of including: violence, death, abduction, and mentions of human trafficking.
TL:DR Breakdown Book: 3/5 (it’s fast paced, action packed, with a hint of paranormal, and it quite literally doesn’t slow down for anything) Plot: 4/5 (there were a ton of twists I wasn’t expecting, I think for a thriller to keep you on your toes its important and this definitely delivered) Characters: 2.5/5 (I wanted more from them) Setting: 3/5 (jumped around a lot of different locations which sometimes made it hard to follow) Pacing: 3/5 (it is an extremely fast read and in most cases I am all for it, but in this case, I wish it would have slowed down a bit) Ending:< 2/5 (sets up the second book in the duology) Overall Prose: 2/5 (with it being a fast read a lot of details were missed that could have been there, reads in a tell rather than show way with some light flowery prose thrown in at times) Spice: 1/5 (there are scenes they mainly fade to black with very little description) Re-Readability: 5/5 (can easily be enjoyed again, especially for a fast little twisty drama book, knowing the shock factors ahead of time won’t ruin this one)
All seems to finally be going well for Jessica and Jon Kent until the head of the Kansas City Mob is set on seeking revenge for Jon’s betrayal. Will the Kent family survive this fatal hunt?
Fatal Hunt has an interesting and suspenseful plot. The characters are tender and likable, yet ferocious. Jon Kent has retired from working as an FBI agent and is very familiar to violence but yet he is a loving father, husband and farm owner. Head of the Kansas City Mob, Hugh Jones holds his title very well as he has a violent reputation but soon finds a soft spot. I like that the author showed the men’s strength, but readers also get to see their gentle side. The author definitely planted an emotional hook that remains throughout the chase.
The story is told from multiple points of view which I think was a great idea. This gives the reader the full story and helps the reader understand all sides of what is happening. In addition to being hunted by the mob boss this story has a lot going on. Secrets are revealed, a mysterious woman has helped Jessica on more than one occasion, there are twists and surprises that kept me reading. I thought the story had too much going on for one book and it would be better to spread out the side stories. Jessica was stalked by a serial killer, her son Bryce was previously kidnapped, her deceased husband is now a paranormal supernatural guardian, Jessica’s friend was murdered by her husband, and Jon is also a widow and now the family is on the run for their lives. There was just too much misfortune for such nice people to have in one novel. Even though the family had a lot going on, the relationship between Jessica and Jon was very endearing to read. The plot has an edge that gives something in addition to the romance, following Jessica and Jon along the states and Canada as they run from the army of killers chasing them.
I enjoyed the author’s way of telling the story. I can actually see myself witnessing the story firsthand because of the author’s skill with words. My favorite scene would be when the men had an encounter with Jessica’s aunt. Those men did not stand a chance against Aunt Debbie. She showed them what an old lady can do.
I enjoyed the story; it is well written, and I am glad I was able to finish until the surprising end. It didn’t reach my highly recommended list, but I would definitely recommend it to readers that enjoy an intriguing suspense that revolves around the protection of family.
Jon and Jessica Kent are once again dealing with corruption and an inadequate FBI investigation. Jon has a new family and a baby on the way. His number one priority is to protect his family. This time they are being targeted from all sides. … Jessica, Bryce, and Jon survived being hunted by a serial killer. This time it’s someone from Jon’s past hunting them. With the help of friends and family Jon works to put the past behind him. … Jon is a retired FBI agent who calls upon his former partner Sam to investigate an old case that he is certain is the reason for these recent threats. … Michelle Godard-Richer suggested reading Fatal Witness before Fatal Hunt. I agree this is a better order to read. The writing style is the same in both books. While I’m not the type of reader who enjoys reading the minute details someone else will. I tend to lean towards on-the-point storylines with steady activity focusing on intense moments driven by fear, paranoia, and danger. These books in my opinion remind me of cozy reads where the danger is mild with the characters building up the fear factor of the situation. I struggle to wrap my head around the inadequacies of the FBI to stop these people when they’re not doing anything to warrant them. In fact, in Fatal Witness the killer was tailgating Jon which seemed the perfect opportunity to catch him, yet nothing happened. He should’ve called for backup and ended it right there. While I appreciate the characters trying to maintain a normal routine this type of thing doesn’t entertain me as a reader. I’m here for the suspense and the thrill and I’m not feeling either. … When the guys broke into Debbie’s place I immediately thought of the robbers from Home Alone movie. The scene was amateurish like these guys almost comical.
A Mafia threat driven by revenge, targets hiding out with new identities, and a former FBI agent who will do whatever it takes to protect his family. What’s not to love? This is my kind of story. Fatal Hunt is a fast-paced crime thriller that will keep you glued to the book.
Being married to a man who once infiltrated the Kansas City mob as an undercover agent brings danger to Jessica and her children. She knows only the loving husband, not the man who did terrible things that haunt him. Both the main characters have baggage that makes them relatable and likeable. Jon’s history and what happened to his first wife, along with Jessica’s loss of her first husband and the repercussions of her son’s kidnapping, make the current threat from mob boss Hugh Jones all the more frightening. Added to that is the suspicion that someone on their team is a traitor. The suspense ramps up as Jon and Jessica find someone is always one step ahead of them, hunting them wherever they run.
Strong secondary characters support Jon and Jess as they fight back against the threat posed by Hugh Jones and his team of henchmen. Several other characters had suspect motivations and made me wonder whether they could be trusted. The multi-faceted personalities drive the plot and kept me guessing.
I also enjoyed the romantic aspect of the loving family and the theme of love vs. the evil in the characters’ lives. A bit of paranormal activity lends itself well to the notion that someone is watching over them in this battle.
With a shocking ending, it’s clear there is much more in store for Jon and Jess. Looking forward to the next book(s) in the series!
Michelle Godard-Richer’s romantic thriller Fatal hunt will captivate you and stay in your mind for weeks. Newlyweds Jessica and Jon Kent both bring secrets and dangerous pasts to their marriage. Jessica outrunning a madman determined to kill her, Jon a target from dangerous criminals he’s sent to jail as an FBI agent. Jon must tell his bride about his past if he hopes to have a future and keep his new family.
The story is full of heart-pounding intrigue and takes the readers from Montana to Canada, across the Rocky Mountains to Kansas City and Hawaii. The pacing is great and the story has interesting characters, even an old woman who can deliver an accurate shot with a rifle!
As Jessica and Jon deal with mob boss Hugh Jones and his cronies, abductions, murder, and deceit fly everywhere. It’s too risky to come up for air. Add in a mystery woman who has a unique history with Jon and Jessica’s husband who reappears as a ghost, and you have a roller coaster ride that never slows down until the end. One aspect all readers will agree on—the only way to keep Jon’s family safe is to eradicate everyone associated with Hugh Jones.
I was given an ARC of Fatal Hunt for an honest review. After reading this book, I really want to read the prequel and a sequel. I can’t wait to see what Michelle Godard-Richer has in store for her readers!
