Amelia Storm #9

Storm's Revenge

Rate this book
Revenge is sweet. But justice is sweeter.

Seven months ago, one of the FBI’s own went missing without a trace. The forensic analyst was smart and beautiful, and she had been dating Joseph Larson...the same man who’d been working with the Chicago PD to investigate the young woman’s missing persons case. The same man who’d just been forced to resign from the Bureau.

Something’s terribly wrong, FBI Special Agent Amelia Storm knows it in her gut. But knowing and proving are two very different things.

When Special Agent Journey Russo blows into the office implicating Larson in her sister’s disappearance, Amelia is even more certain that the disgraced ex-agent is involved. The question is how.

As Amelia and her partner investigate, she and Zane quickly realize that Larson has woven a twisted web of deceit that encompasses mafia influence and political sway. Worse, the truth behind the analyst’s disappearance is darker than anything they could have imagined.

Amelia is determined to find the young woman and ensure Joseph Larson gets what he deserves—a miserable life in an eight-by-ten cell. But Larson is just as determined to see Amelia dead.

From the wickedly dark minds of Mary Stone and Amy Wilson comes Storm’s Revenge, book nine of the Amelia Storm Series, where you’ll think twice about who you trust.

Another great addition to the FBI series, I just read it in one afternoon as was getting a lot of closure from previous story lines but opening new ones.

This one focused on different elements of the story and I really enjoyed it.

I was given an advance copy by the author but the review is entirely my own.

This is another griping chapter in this FBI saga. The characters are your old friends and you're pulling for them to find and follow the clues. The plot thickens as time seems to be running out. A page turner that you'll be unable to put down.

Another exceptionally good story from Mary Stone. I literally couldn't put it down, was even reading it as I prepared dinner, ate dinner and washed up. Action from start to finish with some unexpected events happening. I'd give it more than 5* if I could.

Get ready as family turns on family in STORM'S REVENGE, the ninth installment in the Amelia Storm Series, by Mary Stone and Amy Wilson. ANOTHER WINNER! A page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Once you start reading, make sure you have plenty of time to get lost in this FBI Thriller.

Now that Special Agent Journey Russo has finished her undercover assignment she has started a formal inquiry into what happened to her sister, Michelle, allowing the FBI to start their own investigation. It's beem almost ten months since Michelle vanished, but Zane's CIA contact has come through with some information regarding the last time she was seen.

A lot of secrets are coming to light as evidence is slowly connecting highly respected politicals, a lobbyist, a disgraced FBI agent, and more together, even members of the Mafia. Some of the information coming to light even helps pointed Alex Passarelli in the direction of who, why and what happened to his little sister Gianna. He has accepted that she is dead, but he still wants revenge on the person or people that took her.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review. I really enjoyed this book and the entire series which is well written with interesting characters, some good, some bad. The collaboration between these two authors is superb. I recommend reading the entire riveting series.

BTW: Anyone else think TV could add another FBI series?  Who should be Amelia Palmer and sleezy Joseph?

This is an ARC read for me and another great read. Seven months ago FBI Analyst, Melissa Timmer disappeared and FBI Agent Amelia Storm knows in her heart that FBI Agent Joseph Larson had something to do with it. Now Melissa's sister, Journey Russo, also an FBI Agent has come to Chicago. With the help of Journey and an unexpected informant, Amelia and her Partner Zane have a chance to pull down everyone involved in Melissa's disappearance. Then a miracle occurs, Melissa escapes and starts feeding Amelia and Zane all the information they need. Now the FBI just need to find more proof to bring down a U.S. Senator, a high powered Lobbyist and the disgraced FBI Agent Joseph Larson. The investigation leads to a lot of different places and filled with twists and turns. The ending is very satisfying for the reader.

Full Circle

When Amelia Storm came back home, she was chasing ghosts. Mostly the ghost of her brother, murdered in connection to one of his law enforcement cases, led her there. But, in some strange parallel universe, she was trying to avenge the young teenage girl who had run away out of fear and joined the military, years before. Now an FBI agent, Storm has not only reunited with her past, but also made a name for herself as a Special Agent. After chasing corrupt politicians and aligning with Mafioso, Storm has reached the apex if her quest to destroy an international trafficking ring. But at what cost? And who can she trust to have her back. Stone has, once again, created a book this reader could not put down!

Sweet Bloody Revenge

Just WOW! This book is more exciting than the Daytona 500. It’s more like riding the Kingda Ka, roller coaster, you will be wanting to scream at some point.

Amelia and Zane team up with Special Agent Journey Russo, Michelle Timmer’s sister. Agent Russo received a text from Michelle which allows Amelia and Zane to investigate Michelle’s disappearance.

While investigating Michelle’s disappearance, Amelia is also trying to help Alex Passarelli find out what happened to his sister.

Joseph Larson, Senator Stan Young and Brian Kolthoff are in for a big surprise. Amelia is relentless when it comes to getting Justice for the victims. Justice will be served in several ways.

Read the book to find out what happens at the end.

This was the last in this action-packed and emotionally charged crime series… I enjoyed each book and was left holding my breath till I purchased the next one to continue the exciting saga. Throughout each, we watch the heroine face harrowing life and death moments where she must act quick and decisively —but even when things go awry, Amelia Storm doesn’t let it deter her determination for justice for the innocent and true justice to be served to the evil, sadistic menaces to society. A Very satisfying Read!

This book is like driving down a mountain without breaks. The story goes in crescendo, Amelia's contact is talking a storm, Alex wants to have revenge, and the bad guys are scattered.

Can't lied and at some moment the story went slowly but, then the pace start upping and you just need to hold on for your life.

Endings everywhere and vengeance are for the good guys... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Amelia Storm has been dealing with the nastiest of nasty criminals. The way Mary Stone and Amy Wilson bring about Amelia’s Revenge is riveting and thrilling.

What can I say? Mary Stone and Amy Wilson have once again written an exciting book! I have read all of the Amelia Storm books and they are great! Each one builds on the last one and keeps you wanting the next one. Joseph Larson will not go away! Amelia and Zane are together in their personal life and in fighting crime. Politicians are all on the up and up.....or are they? This book delves into the lives of the rich and famous! Highly recommend!

Karma came big time for the villains of this series. Storm and Zane were great together as a couple and partners. The question of the missing FBI analyst was answered and the CIA played a big role though not really known to all.
This is a fun and intriguing series that had a lot of moving parts. The ending brought all the sorts together and showed closure on the bad guys and answered questions on relationships and family questions.

FINALLY

This was the best in the series by far. Amelia is finally acting like a real law enforcement agent and not an insecure teenager. The storyline was interesting and shows the ties between a corrupt senator, a greedy lobbyist, a rouge FBI agent, and the mob getting their just desserts. I couldn't stop reading. What a combination of characters and vices. Everyone had an angle. Power, greed, porn and human trafficking. Who can win that fight! It was thrilling.

Storms revenge is the culmination of events that have haunted Amelia for many years. She and Zane help to rid the team of a rat and bring closure while using some unorthodox methods.
Of course this is not the end of Amelia and Zane. Before they can plan dinner they are called in on another case.
Another wonderful read by Mary Stone.

Another wonderful addition to the Amelia Storm series! After years of heinous behavior by several wealthy men Amelia and team are finally able to do something about them. Michelle is suffering extreme abuse for 7 months but when she escapes she just might get her own revenge. Meanwhile, Alex is still trying to find out what happened to his sister and he wants the culprit killed. Love how this novel wraps up a lot of the side plots in the series. I completely recommend this book!

Revenge Served Cold

Storm has battled Kalthoff, Young and Larson long and hard. She believes she’s seen the worst but they still surprise her with their depravity. An unexpected ally, a miraculous surprise and terror all arise in this great story. The best Storm yet! And revenge is so sweet.

Will Justice Be Seen?

WOW!! This story pulled a number of concerns about three individuals that were well wrapped in a number of questionable areas. As the story unraveled I was hoping a number of concerns would be solved. The final outcome was interesting. Enjoyed reading this book couldn't put it down.

Storm's Revenge

Great story, everyone got revenge and all the bad guys died. Alex is adopting Mae Young, who turned out to be his sister's child from the kidnapping, rape and murder by Stan Young. Amelia killed Joseph after he kidnapped her SIL and confessed to murdering her brother. Can't wait for more.
