I don’t think I’ve ever hated a Liz Fox/CL Cruz book before but I hated this.
Now, it’s not entirely her fault. I hate the second chance at love trope. It just means that they didn’t love each other enough. How am I supposed to believe now they magically live each other enough to be together? It takes a lot to overcome this horrible trope. I would need the hero to be pinning away for the heroine, for her to always be on his mind. She was not.
Colton was a bad character. He was stuck up, snobby, and gave zero indication of why all of the suddenly he wanted to be with Grace. Thank god she put up a tiny bit of fight when he wanted to move her to the city.
It got two stars instead of one because her writing was impeccable as always but if I never see this story again it will be too soon. If almost makes me not want to finish the four book series.

Ten years ago, Grace was on cloud nine, because she and Colton would be graduating. They would be going to college, him out of state, but when he got back the life they had planned would begin.
The thing was he never came back. He took a job in the city, in hedge funds, and she never heard or saw him again. Ten years have passed and now he's home for the holidays. When she hears this she tries to avoid going into town.
The day she does, guess who she runs into? You got it. But, what gets me is he wants to pick up where he left off. What is even more disturbing is she doesn't call him on it during her first or second encounter with him. Not to mention he has become a classification snob.
He is given a rude awakening from, Grace. Making him pause. She helps him realize, that he never, in truth, understood her, or himself, at all. If he suggested such an idea.

This story is about Grace Meadows and Colton McCoy. Grace is the oldest sister in the family and as such finds herself always cleaning up after and taking care of her siblings and family. They are in the thick of the season when she is forced to drive down the mountain and into town to take a break but also go to the dollar store to buy tree decorations. While she is sitting in the local cafe and about to enjoy a muffin and coffee she comes face to...well it isn't his face, of Colton. Before you can say Merry Christmas the town will be abuzz with how Colton brought Grace to her knees yet again, and she is not having that! Colton has come home for the holidays when he crosses paths with Grace he is more than a little amused and also quickly ready to accompany her on her errands and spend time with her. Colton had me laughing at his internal thoughts about Grace and how much he finds his spark for her combusts into an inferno of love and passion. A broken heart can sometimes have you not seeing what’s right in front of you also it won’t all you to see the second chance that fate has put in your path. High School Sweethearts Grace and Colton but broke up right before he left for college with all kinds of promises but never once come back home until now ten years later. Colton didn’t come to town for Grace even though fate had a hand in ensuring they run into each other at least a few times showing what is right in front of them the love that never left them. They realized this because the chemistry is still just as intense as it was when they were in high school, and they can’t call walk from it a second time or can they? Grace wants nothing to do with him because he broke her heart the first time and after putting it together, she does not and won’t give him another chance to break it again but that same heart wants him. Colton knows she is it for him and will do whatever it takes to help her see and believe that he won’t break her heart again, can he convince her, will they grab this second chance given to them by fate and run with it, and can they find happiness after so many years?

This is book number 3 of the Naughty & Nice series and focuses on Colton and Grace. They were high school sweethearts that dated all through high school until Colton left for college and never looked back. Now years later, he's home for the holidays to visit his family and Grace is actively avoiding going into town so she doesn't have to see him. Things don't go quite as planned for Grace and she runs into him while in town. Grace wants no parts of getting involved with him because he will inevitably leave and leave her completely heartbroken for a second time. Colton starts to miss Grace after seeing her but it isn't until he asks her to leave her life behind to follow him that he realizes what he truly wants in life. I loved this book overall but it would have been nice for Colton to have missed Grace while he was gone but it seemed like he really did just leave everything in the past without any second thought. I am so glad that they got their second chance together! Great addition to the series.

This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. Grace and Colton were once in love until Colton left town. Years later and he’s back. Will Grace and Colton get a second chance at love?
The chemistry between Grace and Colton is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

What a beautiful second chance romance! I LOVED Colton and Grace! They are former high school sweethearts who broke up because he moved away. Now he’s back and he’s a bit of a Scrooge. Lucky for him Grace is Christmas cheer personified. I loved Grace as a character. She does so much for her family and for her town. It’s time she found her happiness. Grace is in town when she unexpectedly sees Colton again. The one who left town and didn't look back. Colton returns home and discovers that being in the city, in amongst the fakeness, isn't what he wants. Seeing Grace and being with her - is where he belongs - he just has to convince her!!
I LOVED this story! I'm a sucker for second chances!! The characters are likeable, relatable, complex, multilayered, realistic and believable. I was immediately hooked into the story and couldn't put it down!! The story is well written, fast paced, with lots of sizzling chemistry between Grace and Colton. There's an epilogue and a HEA 💓

Grace and Colton were high school sweethearts until he broke her heart when he left for college. Now he's back in town after years away and the spark is still there. I loved that even though they had been apart for years they both realize they still love each other. His Holiday Cheer is a sweet second chance love story between two people who finally got their happily ever after. The writing is well done and the characters are likable. His Holiday Cheer is book three and a great addition to the Naughty and Nice series. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Quick second chance romance. High school sweethearts Colton and Grace broke up when he went away for college, never looking back. He is currently living a pretty empty existence in the big city. Grace’s life is her family, working the family business, and helping people in town. I like that she is determined to have the life she chooses, with or without him and let’s him know that in no uncertain terms. The entire story before the epilogue spans a few days.

This was a well written, short, Christmas romance with a wonderful HEA. I didn’t really warm to Colton, he left Grace 10 years earlier to go to college and never looked back. He wasn’t even in town now for her! There was lots of chemistry and they did truly love each other. He realised he needed a change in his life when they met again and went all out to achieve it. There was romance and nostalgia and a beautiful HEA.

What a sweet story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Grace in this story. Her high school sweetheart left her to go away to college, but never came home. Now many years later, Colton has returned. He realised that he needs Grace in his life and will stop at nothing to have her back, but there has to be a compromise. I really enjoyed reading how these two worked out their differences and have their happily ever after.

Aaahhhh I don't know why but I'm ambivalent about this story. Don't know why really. Colton broke Grace's heart and now comes back as if nothing happend before 🤔 Personally I didn't like his character (but that's just me 😉). Grace loved Colton in high school and that really didn't change. Colton is now back and wants to have a second chance. Would have loved more groveling🤷♀️ A sweet second chance at love story with a bit of romance and sweetness. Not my favorite story but nonetheless a sweet story 😍😍😍😍

Grace and Colton where high school sweetheart but he left for college and never came back. He’s now back in town and she wants nothing to do with him because she’s afraid of getting her heart broken again. A second chance romance. Colton is back in town after breaking Grace’s heart when they were teenagers. He’s turned into a snob but starts to realize that he’s not as happy as he thought he was. This was another quick read. Grace is very giving and caring and loves living in the small town. She and Colton still have chemistry but he’s egotistical enough to assume she’ll drop everything to be with him until he realizes what’s really important. These two have history and its not bad just he left leaving poor Grace behind.
The connection picks up hot and strong, and Colton has decisions he needs to make for his future. I really enjoyed the history they had and how they relived part of it.

Third book in the series being Colton and Grace's story. They were high school sweethearts, she thought they would always be together. Until, he went off to college never to return breaking her heart. He's back in town after all these years for the holidays. You know how Christmas magic can be. I thought that this was a really good book. Grace and Colton were great together. I really enjoyed this second chance holiday book. While Colton realizes what he is missing in his life is Grace, Grace tries not to fall again but you can't fight fate. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend this book and these two awesome authors.

Colton comes back to town to spend Christmas. When he meets back up with Grace Meadows, he is feeling lucky to be able to connect. As he spends time with Grace, he realizes that he wants to share all his future Christmases with her.
I enjoyed getting into Grace's head a little bit. I liked the interactions between these two.
The Meadows siblings are meeting their significant other's. I'm looking forward to Marie's story.

This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone story.
Well-written and entertaining, this second chance holiday romance is sweet and steamy. Colton returns home for the holidays after being gone for a decade. He left for college and never returned, the feelings that they had for each other are still there and Colton now knows what he lost and he's determined to win her heart again.
