Christmas time is here again and the Holiday Haven is buzzing with festive fun!
Lumi’s life is thrust into seasonal overdrive as throngs of visitors make their way to her family’s reindeer sanctuary, eager to sip hot cocoa and visit with Santa’s retired fleet.
Rumors are swirling that she might be getting a shiny new diamond ring in her stocking this year, but Lumi isn’t so sure. If anything, Prince Corbin seems to be giving her the cold shoulder, leaving her to wonder if she’s headed for holiday heartbreak instead.
Before she can worry too much about her absentee beau, she’s approached by the North Pole’s leading veterinarian who has a special—if not strange—request.
There’s a thief on the loose in Holiday Haven and Doc Patches has reason to believe his own nephew may be behind the recent crime spree.
Can Lumi get to the bottom of the mischief before it spreads to the North Pole?
Book 12. Lumi and Prince Corbin are back. In this one Doc Patches has had a Ice Flame that a Ice Dragon had made disappear out of his clinic. He asked Lumi to help. Doc thought that his grandson Eli took it. Lumi saw an article in Winter New that Prince Corbin ( her boyfriend) was about to propose at the Yule Ball. But she believed it was rumors. And even if it were true she did not know how she would like to be a Princess and always be in The Frost Kingdom while she loved her family business running The Reindeer Sanctuary. I have read almost of of these Witches of Holiday Haven series. And every single one I loved. To different Authors and different characters. These are fun and magical and fantasy series. You will enjoy them
Lumi must find Doc Patches missing grandson and solve the mystery of a missing artifact that was in Doc's office. Lumi and Corbin finally get some time together but end up following clues to solve the mystery. A quick read with magic and romance. Lumi and Corbin really do make a perfect couple.
I have all the Witches of Holiday Haven books. Lumi & Prince Corbin are among my favourite characters. Lumi runs the family reindeer sanctuary outside Holiday Haven, a small town near the North Pole. Yes, that North Pole. Her boyfriend of nearly a year is Prince Corbin Frost, brother to Jack, the new & perpetually irresponsible Frost Kng. Although Jack is beginning to settle a bit, Corbin is spending a lot of time in tbe Frost Kingdom. Lumi is wondering if perhaps their lives are just too different. When Santa's vet, elf Doc Patches, asks Lumi to find a rare ice dragon flame gifted to him, the main suspect is n'er do well grandson of the vet, Eli. Will the ice flame be found & is Eli the culprit? Can Lumi resolve her conflicted feelings about hers & Corbin's different lifestyles? You will really enjoy this final story but even more if you read the first two books in the series. Hopefully there will be some short stories set in this lovely, happy world. Just think of the potential of ice dragons!

Evergreen Elves is the twelfth in the Winter Witches of Holiday Haven series by Danielle Garrett, Bella Falls, Erin Johnson, J. L. Collins, and Elle Adams. Each has written three books with their own story lines set in Holiday Haven and the surrounding area. I have read or listened to the books in Danielle Garrett, Erin Johnson, and J. L. Collins’ portion of the fifteen book series. I will start the books written by Bella Falls and Elle Adams soon. I listened to the audio on Hoopla from my local library. In this standalone story, an ice sculpture (Ice Flame that an Ice Dragon has made) is taken from Dr Patches’ Office.
This was a lovely ending to (or a beginning in their next chapter of life) to Prince Corbin and Lumi’s story.
Lumi and Corbin are looking into the missing dragon ice shard stolen from Doc Patches surgery, he suspects his nephew may have been involved but it's clear very quickly who the guilty party is.
Once that has been cleared up there's rumours running that Corbin will propose at the Yuletide Ball but first they have to work out a way to be able to merge two very different lives. Corbin is needed to keep Jack in check and Lumi has a full schedule at the reindeer sanctuary.
And then there's a mini problem when a very special ring goes missing right before it's needed and out of nowhere Jack proves he can save the day.
💕 Positives: * Two mysteries without a murder. That's pretty inventive.
* Jack finally redeems himself. Maybe he isn't so awful after all.
* Loved the ending. Wraps up nicely with a surprise.

🌟 Overall, I loved this winter cozy mystery. It was incredibly heartwarming with just enough mystery to keep me intrigued. It's bittersweet though since it's the end of the series for Lumi and Corbin. Wish that there were more books in this series, but the author does hint at another series for Jack. That could be interesting.
A gift begins this story, but it was not a gift of good. It was headed to block Lumi's powers. Lumi's doesn't lose all her powers, thanks to Clara Clause. On top of that, her prince boyfriend is as busy as she is and they aren't getting enough time together.. It's only going to get worse with Christmas right around the corner. And that's another thing, what the jingle bells does she get Prince Corbin?
Lummi is asked by Doc Patches to Help find an item he lost, although this item seems to be made by the ice dragons and not very common. OK maybe lost it’s not quite the right word. Doc patches seems to think his grandson may have taken it. All the Lumi is a little bit reticent that she may not be able to find it it takes your mind off of the news that maybe Prince Corbin is going to ask for her hand in marriage. Enjoy!
Lumi has been one of my favorite characters throughout the series, so I was excited to read this installment. Life has changed for her so much since last Christmas, in ways she’d never imagined. And once again, she finds herself embroiled in another mystery.
This is always going to be one of my favorite cozy mystery series. I love this world so very much!
Lumi and Corbin are still going strong as a couple...or are they? Their difficulties trying to coordinate their schedules and her questions about her fitness to be a princess are enough to distract Lumi; now she's asked to be a secret sleuth for a family friend! The mystery is rather mundane and the culprit is obvious; the why is surprising, though.
I love all the Holiday Haven stories, but the ones involving the reindeer are my favorites. I'm just sorry to learn we won't be returning there next Christmas. Is there any way to convince these wonderful writers to change their minds?
This is short and cute. Just right for this time of year. A little mystery and a little romance to bring feelings home for the holidays. I really like the characters and descriptions.
I am really enjoying this book and series of books they are so good! I really enjoyed this book and the story line and characters,it was so good and so engaging and I have really enjoyed it and the characters are so good!
Great ending to Lumi and Corbin's part of this series. Another wedding in Holiday Haven. Things are great all around in the North Pole. Can't wait to see how the rest of them wrap up.
I've enjoyed all three books in this series!! The imagery, characters, and plots are wonderful and complete! I'm not good at explaining because I'm afraid I'll give things away, just know this series is all good!! Enjoy!!!
Lumi and Corbin are finding it hard to make time for each other, and when they do, a mystery gets in the way. Great story with a nice mystery and romance mixed in.
I just adore this series so much! The holiday theme, the coziness, the wonderful characters! It's just such a fantastic way to start getting in the holiday spirit, and I love listening to it because Amanda Ronconi's narration is always fantastic!
I read the first one a few months ago, and this is a lovely ending! I recommend the series to anyone looking to enjoy a bit of world building and magical fun.
