He never believed in fairytales until she knocked on his door.
There isn’t a hurdle Raelyn Shaw, Morgan’s Bay’s party planner extraordinaire, can’t overcome. So, when a hurricane destroys her client’s venue, she is determined to find the perfect replacement. The old barn catches her eye, but when she knocks on the owner’s door, the last person she expects to see is her high school crush who went MIA a decade ago.
Ryder Douglas became somewhat of a recluse after an accident took both of his parent’s lives. After all, he was the one behind the wheel. The scar on his face is a constant reminder of that awful night, and one of the reasons he stays hidden away. Nobody wants to be reminded of the tragedy that struck their small town. He’s content with his life until a perky brunette brings light and laughter to his doorstep.
While Ryder helps Raelyn turn the barn into a magical setting, he wrestles with the guilt that’s consumed him for years and starts to question if he’s the monster he’s made himself believe he is. Maybe it’s possible for his broken heart to not only heal but to let someone else in.
All Because I Found You is the fourth book in the Morgan’s Bay series, but each of these steamy small-town romances can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Long bio:
Theresa Paolo lives in Long Island, NY with her fiancé and their fish. She writes steamy small-town romances with sassy heroines, sexy heroes and feisty townspeople. When she's not writing, she's reading, brewery hopping, or daydreaming. She loves coffee, all things Christmas and fall, and making lists.
Ryder and Raelyn are the hero/heroine of this book set in a small town. She had a crush on him in high school but she didn’t think he knew who she was. She was a couple of years behind him and he was a big popular high school football player. But things changed dramatically when he was in a horrific car crash that killed his mother, father and younger sister; his whole family wiped out. And then he disappeared and no one knew what happened to him.
It’s now years later and Raelyn is a successful and popular event planner. But she’s in a very tough situation. There was a hurricane and a lot of damage done to the town including a wedding venue she had planned to use in just a few weeks. Raelyn was panicking a bit but she’s nothing if not resourceful and when she spots a barn a short ways out of town, she has a hunch it will be perfect. When she locates the owner, she’s shocked to discover that Ryder is the owner. He’s become a hermit because of the loss of his family, his overwhelming guilt as he was the one driving and the number of facial scars he received. He’s the king of grumps and does NOT want his barn used. But Raelyn is a force of nature and eventually gets him to reluctantly agree. She slowly brings him out of his frozen state though he still wants nothing to do with the rest of the town.
This is a charming and delightful story of two completely opposite people falling in love and Ryder slowly coming back to life because of the love he found with Raelyn. I really like this couple and this is a book I can see me reading again. It gets two thumbs up from this reader.
Raelyn Shaw is an event planner with a personality that won’t accept no for an answer when she has her heart set. After a hurricane damaged the venue for a wedding she is planning, nothing would stop her from finding the perfect place for her client. And that perfect place is a barn owned by Ryder Douglas, a recluse living with guilt from his past. He was driving the car when the accident happened that killed his parents and sister 11 years earlier. If only he had done things differently. If he allowed Raelyn the use of his barn, will he be able to confront the town that blamed him for the death of his family? Raelyn is determined to get him to say yes, but will this force him to break out of his shell and start living again? This is a story of heartache, determination, and love, a book worth reading.
This is a cute story, a kind of Beauty and the Beast tale. It’s fast paced and an easy, entertaining read. I enjoyed this return to Morgan’s Bay and look forward to the next book in the series.
The story is a bit slow and the more then bubbly attitude of Raelyn is annoying. I get to go for what you want but she is a borderline bully. After the storyline is a bit cliché
All Because I Found You by Theresa Paolo is a Morgan's Bay story featuring Raelyn Shaw, the best event planner in Morgans's Bay who was on the prowl for a venue for a wedding which was just two weeks in the future. No, this was not her fault. There had been a hurricane, which had destroyed her venue. All the venues were either taken or flooded and she was searching for an option, which she had just found. It was a beautiful old barn, almost pristine on the inside, just waiting to be set up for this wedding . . . by her. She just had to find out who owned it and make the arrangements. She did find out quickly and got an address. No time like the present. She knocked on the door. She knocked again. It was a scary looking house but it looked inhabited. Finally a man answered . . . long dark hair . . . forbidding and his answer was "no." He moved to close the door. "No," again. She sat down to wait. She out on her bikini and got out her lawn chair, iPad, and phone and worked. She started singing, loudly, off key. He responded with one of her favorite songs over speakers. She sang along. He turned on the sprinklers. He finally said, "yes." He was Ryder Douglas. She's had a crush on him in middle school. She thought he's moved away.
Ryder was a very damaged man and Paolo did an excellent job of portraying him. Between his guilt and the scar on his face, he had become a non-functioning human being, never leaving his house during daylight; running his entire enterprise through the face of another: his only friend. He gradually opened up to Raelyn and Paolo did great with that, too. They were so different and had had no defense against this outgoing, determined woman. This was a great love story: plenty of sex but plenty of just being together and talking and doing things. I love Paolo's way of telling a story. She is just that good. We got to know both of these people really well as this whole thing expanded and grew. Talk about a relationship!
I was invited to read All Because I Found You by the author and Booksprout. All thoughts and opinions are mine.
I haven’t read any of the previous Morgan’s Bay books in this series but the description for this book sounded good and the book was great. I liked the setting and of course the characters were what you’d expect to find in a small town where you know everyone, and you also know where everyone lives. I especially liked Raelyn and her go to attitude, nothing gets in her way, and she finds a way to make it happen. I loved how she made a statement with Ryder when she wanted to use his barn and used every trick in her arsenal to wear him down and I’m pretty sure that was the start to their friendship maybe relationship. Ryder has a very tragic past and has become sort of a recluse, but the way Raelyn brought him out of his shell with coffee, a piece of pie, sharing ideas he started being more social and just when you thought everything might be heading toward a future with these two, something happens that takes Ryder right back to his tragic past. I did like how Raelyn’s family was there for support and I liked how he stayed and decided to give them a chance. I really enjoyed this book and now that I’ve met more of the characters in the town, I need to check out the previous three books. It also looks like there’s another book heading our way in this series, can’t wait to read it.
Sometimes things happen to you that shape the remainder of your life and that is our sexy as all get out Ryder, he was an outgoing guy in school, the all-time quarterback, but after an accident he just disappeared come to find out that fatal night he lost his parents and walked away alive but scars outside and inside. Trying his best to live with the guilt and becoming a reclusive with his scares he feels is best. Raelyn is an event planner and really good at her job she goes above and beyond for her clients so when a storm ruins her well laid plans well now she has to reach into her bag of tricks to pull out something just as magnificent. She sees a barn that she knows she can turn into something amazing for her client but reaching out to the owners proves to be a walk down memory lane because the boy she crushed on when they were in school is no longer a boy but a sexy as all get out man yep, the same one who just disappeared. It is a shocking reconnection for both of them because she brings with her sunshine/happiness something that has been missing for so many years and he likes it but is it enough to get him back to the land of the living so to speak, will she understand what happened to his parents, and can he have happiness after what he did because he sure wants it?

This is book four in The Morgan's Bay Series and it is Raelyn and Ryder's story. Raelyn and Ryder are the complete opposite of each other as Raelyn is outgoing and as a party planner she has a great personality and great with people where as Ryder is so closed off and a recluse. When the venue for a wedding is unable to be used to go unforseen circumstances she has to find a new solution and venue and that is when she sees a barn in the distance that could be made into a ideal place and solve her problems if only she can confine Ryder to agree to let her use it and this starts something that neither of them expected. The characters and storyline pulled you in and kept you turning the pages to see what the outcome would be for Raelyn and Ryder. I loved this book so much and I found myself hoping that they could some how sort through everything to give them a chance of having something special. Theresa Paolo is a brilliant author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed.

This was a fun story in sorta a beauty and the beast retelling. It stars Raelyn, who is our beauty and a wedding planner who lives in Morgan Bay who was just hit with a hurricane and needs to find a new wedding venue for a client ASAP. Then she decides a barn might work but she has to find the owner and when she does, she finds a missing crush who she has not seen in 10+ years, Ryder Douglas.
Ryder is our beast and he is in a lot of pain and he only talks to one guy until Raelyn enters his life. It takes a lot of time and effort to get him to see that he deserves all the great things life offers. Can Raelyn convince him to come into the light and face his past? Well you will have to read this book and see.
I really loved both leads in this story. At times I felt Ryder's pain and wasn't sure he'd be able to make things work with Raelyn as he really just wants to hide. It was a really great story and I really enjoyed it.

Sweet, heartfelt romance with an annoyingly persistent event planner and a guilt ridden reclusive type. There was a massive hurricane that ruined the wedding venue for one of Raelyn’s clients; with the wedding in only 2 weeks, Raelyn is on the hunt for a new venue. She’s found it in a barn owned by her former high school crush, Ryder, but he’s not too happy about being bothered by overly bubbly Raelyn. Ryder has tried to stay hidden after an accident years ago killed his family; Ryder has guilt about the incident, so he’s closed himself off. Reluctantly, Ryder finds himself helping out Raelyn, and of course, the attraction between them begins to grow stronger. Raelyn is a bit much at times, but I liked her and she’s good for Ryder. Ryder is a cutie; I like his sort of gruff guy attitude, but underneath he’s a real sweetie. These two have some wonderful passion together! Liked that this has a second chance at romance vibe to the story! Loved the small town vibe to the story, and the side characters are interesting. Looking forward to reading more from this series! A good romance!
I've spent practically the entire book laughing. The continuous comings and goings of the 2 protagonists, Ryder and Raelyn, are the most fun. Ryder was previously the popular school boy until an accident in which he loses his parents and sister changes his life forever making him a hermit, with a great fear of being around people for what they may think of him for what happened. Raelyn is a wedding planner who needs to find a new site for the wedding she's hosting and that leads her to Ryder's door to convince him to let her use one of his properties, but he refuses. Raelyn doesn't give up on anything and is willing to do anything to get what she wants, whether it's harassing him or waiting for hours at his door for him to change his mind. The truth is that Raelyn knows how to push all the buttons on Ryder since she drives him crazy constantly. Beautiful story, very funny and with its emotional and passionate doses.
Sometimes horrific weather events can lead you down a new road, when it does for desperate party planner Raelyn (whose venue was just ruined by a storm) she sees the barn and knocks on the door of an owner of the barn — and is shocked to see Ryder, her high school crush who disappeared years ago. He has lived as a hermit with facials scars from an accident that killed his family when he was driving. It was all the other guys fault, but he can’t see that. His father’s best friend has continued to build his fruit/veggie farms business with him and has been the only person he has willingly seen in 11 years … till she crashes into his life for him to save the day for the bride … and she saves him. It is a tried and true storyline… but it is heartwarmingly told with some redemption sex included. I totally enjoyed it (did skim some of the sex).
This couple set fire to the book. Raelyn and Ryder are the complete opposite in character yet somehow this slowly starts to work until 🔥🔥. Ryder has secrets surrounding his life, including most people in his small town believe he moved far away after a family tragedy, but did he? Raelyn’s life is a complete open book, with no secrets and a dynamite personality that makes her a force to be reckoned with as she builds her party planner reputation. The clash of personalities works well and I found myself on his side sometimes and her’s on others. It becomes a scorching hot 🔥 romance that will delight most readers and certainly did this one. I was given a free copy of this book as an ARC reader.
I really loved this latest instalment from Morgan's Bay. The story line is great, but it is the quirky characters and the depth of emotion that had me hooked.
Raelyn is an event planner in a bind when her proposed wedding venue is flooded two weeks before the big day. Ryder has been hiding in plain sight for many years, he grew up in this town, but has hidden from it for the last decade. However, Ryder could have the answers to Raelyn's current dilemma.
The question is whether Raelyn will also be the answer that Ryder doesn't even know he needs; he has been content to live in the shadows, but Raelyn is pure sunshine, will be able to adjust to the light and really start living again.
A fabulous read!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Enjoyed reading this story of Raelyn, small, determined wedding and event planner meeting up with Ryder, reclusive, self loathing farmer. Storm and flooding causes her to look for a new wedding venue and after finding an old barn, Raelyn decides it will be the perfect place but getting the owner to agree is difficult. There is humour, love, desire, sadness and understanding throughout the story as the attraction between the couple starts to develop into a full blown relationship..not without its ups and downs but Raelyn always ensures she gets her way and Ryder, despite his fears, is firmly in her thoughts and dreams.

The banter in this book had me laughing when Raelyn knocked on Ryder's door. She is a breath of fresh air and a firecracker too and poor Ryder does not know what to do about her take charge attitude and how the word no is not part of her vocabulary. I liked that Raelyn was able to reach into Ryder's heart and help him to truly realize that what happened eleven years ago was not his fault. I liked this refreshing romantic story because it made me laugh and also kept making me want Ryder to believe what Raelyn saw in him. The rustic barn setting for weddings sounded so romantic as Raelyn wove her magic doing her job of event planning. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Returning to the Morgan's Bay series is like bumping into old friends, always a joy. In All Because I Found You, Ryder had been reclusive for eleven years, living in plain sight in his grandfather's house in Morgan's Bay. The scars on his face are a constant reminder of his grief and the guilt he feels because he was driving the night of the accident that took the lives of his parents and sister. Raelyn falls in love with him, slowly pushing past the emotional barrier he built of guilt and shame. "I don't see shame. All I see is you." I really enjoyed this story and the reminder we can keep loved ones' memories alive by building for the future.
I've read several books written by Theresa Paolo; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the fourth book in the Morgan’s Bay Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Raelyn & Ryder; she’s a party planner and when the venue the client planned to use was destroyed in a hurricane she starts looking for a new place. She finds an old barn and when she knocks on the owner’s door she surprised when he answers the door. He’s her high school crush that disappeared years ago after the accident that killed both his parents.

From the very beginning, Raelyn captured my heart. She is so full of energy and truly can’t accept the word no. She’s just what Ryder needs to pull him out of his shell. Their romance was fun to read about since there were so many unexpected twists and turns. Their relationship is so captivating! As you read, you can’t help but engage with these two who seem to need each other to have fulfilling lives. Their love is so sweet. Unfortunately, they hit a roadblock just when they were starting to find comfort in their love. I don’t want to give away the surprise ending, so you’ll just have to read it for yourself…
This was my first book by Theresa And I was pleasantly surprised! It’s a very engaging story, you’re drawn into the story and you want to know what happens next. Ryder is a very secluded guy but starts to open up, the more time he spends with Raelyn who’s a very bubbly personality. Their banter was hilarious at times and made the story fun. You root for them, you cry with them, this was a really beautifully written story! I highly recommend it!

Raelyn was pushy and determined to convince reclusive Ryder to let her use his old barn for a wedding. I laughed when she staked out on his lawn in a bikini singing loudly and badly and not leaving even when he turned the sprinklers on her. She forced him to acknowledge her and admit his attraction. There were quite a few steamy moments in this book. But also plenty of laugh out and sweet ones too. Reading about what happened to his parents and sister and how he still blames himself made me sad.
I love this story about Ryder and Raelyn. I loved how Raelyn was able to get Ryder back into the real world and begin living his life. She was such a hoot! You never knew what she would do next. She was creative and full of life. He started out as a recluse but his time with her changed his life forever.I would recommend this book.

This fourth story in the "Morgan's Bay" series is very intriguing and interesting. You have an event planner who will not take "NO" for an answer and a surely beast like man who is dealing with the trauma of his past. This is Ryder and Raelyn's journey to happiness. What a journey it is. Somewhat emotional and tragic but an incredible outcome. Such a nicely developed story and I love the characters. The author did a great job developing the story and the plot.
He never believed in fairytales until she knocked on his door.
A romantic read that has you laughing at times and keeps a smile on your face. You love getting to know the characters and feel like you've known them forever, long before you turn the last page.

Loved this story about a wedding planner who finds a recluse. Raelyn desperately needs to find a wedding venue for a client. Ryder has a barn on his property that could be the perfect setting. When Ryder eventually gives into Raelyn he gets more than he expects and they have their happily ever after.
This is my first book of this author's, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The story of Raelyn and Ryder is emotional and heartwarming with character depth, and a great ending. I will definitely be on the lookout for more of this author's works from now on.

This was such a wonderful love story. I enjoyed it very much. The storyline was spot on and was well executed. You have action, drama and adventure and love all in one book. loved the characters, I enjoyed this book can't wait for their next one. I recommend it.
Raelyn is strong, mouthy, determined and lovely. Ryder is the lucky recluse/ owner of a barn she needs as a wedding venue after a hurricane blew through. This was funny, then sweet, then spicy, all while being complicated and sad. Great read.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was romantic but some of the scenes were just hilarious! Raelyn made me laugh with some of her antics and expressions. How could Ryder possibly resist her? Highly recommend this quick quirky read!!
