Ink has led a pretty charmed life. He has his family. His brothers at Iron Shadows. A thriving business. But there’s something missing. He’s ready to settle down, if only he could find the right girl. Someone he could pamper and protect. Dominate and discipline.
A Little he could cherish.
And then he meets Betsy. Sweet, shy Betsy. She might almost be too naïve and gentle for his world, but he can’t stop thinking about her.
Fate had to her put her in his path…

I liked it, but nowhere near as much as I liked book one in this series. The romance seemed to take a backseat to all of the things that Besty had going in her life. While the scenes about how Ink was adamant about protecting her and the suspense were interesting, I wanted to see more of them actually together and exploring the chemistry between them. The Fox made another cameo here and I hope I’m not the only one who would love to have a story about him in the future, even if it’s just a novella. All in all, this was okay, but not better than book one.

I love all of these books but I really loved this one. Ink is so sweet and grouchy and he was so forlorn in the first book that seeing him get his Little was just so satisfying.
I also really loved Baron and Royal, the twin teenage boys that Betsy adopted from her marriage. They are absolute hellions and I loved how fierce they are, especially when it comes to their ‘Ma’. So sweet.
I’m always so happy when I reread any of this author’s books. They just Never get old.

Laylah Roberts has become one of my favorite authors when it comes to DD/lg and when i know there’s a new story coming,i pre-order straight away.
Getting the ARC of Hero Daddy was a treat, and i knew it was going to be another beautiful story.

Betsy is in dire need of a hero, one that can save her from the awful place she is in.
Forced to seduce Ink is one of the best things that could’ve happened to her.
He shows her a world she never knew existed,a world where he takes care of her as her Daddy.
Finding out why she was ordered to seduce him,is awful, and she knows she has to warn him.
Even though she’s sure he’ll hate her afterwards.....

Ink needs a little to complete him,and Betsy is applying for the job.
Sweet,shy,and vulnerable,she touches his soul.
Finding out she tricked him,and why?
After getting angry, his protective side takes over, and he is determined to save her from evil.
Will he succeed,or wil the threat hanging over Betsy’s head be too much?

This was a real rollercoasterride and i loved how Betsy wanted to protect Ink as much as he did her.
Both determined to do the right thing.
And even though Betsy ís a little, she ís strong!
And even though Ink ís a Daddy,he ís vulnerable, but only with her.....
And even though Betsy comes with the surprise of two boys, that aren’t even hers,Ink won’t let that stop him.

Oh, Betsy! She sure has a sorry lot in life and then she meets Ink and worms her way into his heart. I like that this book had drama but it didn't keep the H and h apart from each other, at least not for very long. I sure was holding my breath a few times!
Loved the introduction of new side characters who obviously will have to have to their own stories. 4 stars

Not your average DD/lg romance! 💙📚💜

I have been anxiously awaiting this book since I finished book 1...and it was worth the wait! Ink and Betsy's story had so many twists and turns in it that I didn't see coming and I was kept on my toes.

I loved that we got some Club scenes in this book and got to experience Betsy discovering and embracing her Little.

There were many scenes in the book that dealt with Betsy's past and they really got me in the feels...I knew she'd get her HEA but I wanted to hurry up and give it to her myself!

I loved that we got to see how DD/lg lifestyles work with kids in the mix. It's a topic I've always been curious about.

AND we got a return visit from an old friend, 🦊. I am curious if we'll ever get his story. I sure hope so.

It was a great read and I can always count on Laylah to make my pre-order purchase worth every cent.

This was Fantastic! Another Biker daddy and his Little. Ink and Betsy are incredible people. You get sucked in right away. These two have everything, chemistry off the wall..check Action and danger..check lust, steam and love check! It was a wonderful story with all kinds of insights to MC’s and Little’s. This is definitely one you don’t want to miss. Laylah Roberts just gets these characters and gives them wings to fly.♥️

it's so hard to rate this, because so much of the story hinges on the ageplay kink, and my feelings have not changed in that regard - but it is good.

the story, like the first book, is solid. and the characters are likable (betsy more so than ink - i found him to be pretty frustrating and not nearly as charming as duke). their relationship felt like the least important think going on, unfortunately. betsy has endured nonstop abuse basically her whole life, and this book rightfully mostly focuses on her and ink trying to overcome her trauma. this is good, or at least would be, if i thought ageplay was at all an acceptable way to help her overcome her issues. 😵‍💫

i wish the next book were reyes', i might be inclined to continue if it were. buuuut it's not, so i will probably be stopping here 🤕

edit: the more i think about it, the angrier i am with this book!! betsy DESPERATELY needed some therapy, but i guess it's supposed to be acceptable that kink is the only coping mechanism she is given in this book? that's not okay! it's gross and neglectful, not cute. changing my rating to 2 stars :/

Ink never expected to fall for anyone but somehow Besty gets to him and he finds himself unable to stay away from her. As they slowly connect, he senses there are some things she is not telling him. Besty has had a very hard life and when she's trapped into doing something she doesn't want to do, she's scared it's going to affect her relationship with Ink! There's danger, angst, sadness and all the hot sexiness readers have come to expect from Laylah Roberts. I held my breathe in a few places as Besty's life is held in the balance. And let's talk about the Fox.............I kind of hate him but at the same time love him. He's blunt, he's crude but in a way, he's "taking out the trash" in order to save the girls! He intrigues me and I'm sure he will be popping up in future books, much to the other guys dismay!! LOL This book was a lot more intense and went into more detail in the lives of the characters. I LOVED it and cannot wait for the next one!

Loved it! I even had to go get it off another site first, because I couldn’t wait to read it. Betsy meets Ink under very unusual circumstances. Ink is guarded and doesn’t think he is right for Betsy. Lots of intrigue and an appearance by one of our favorite secondary characters!

I won’t lie, I literally hate this sort of plot. Like the underlining deception even when it’s forced just hurts my heart. That being said, I enjoyed this still. 4/5⭐️ 1-2/5🔥🌶

Hero Daddy

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Darkness: 🤍🤍🖤🖤🖤
Sub Genres: Caregiver/ BDSM/ Motorcycle Club/ Mystery/ Thriller/ Morally Grey
POV: Dual 3rd Person
M/F
Stand Alone? The couple’s story is complete but continuing backstory and character crossover means the series is best read in order.

I laughed so hard I cried at one point, my heart ached for the characters so hard it brought tears to my eyes at a few points, I was jealous of Betsy a few times (hey, I am not proud of my jealousy but what can I say? Ink is one heck of a catch!) and through it all, I couldn’t put it down!

I danced a happy dance, I paced until I thought the floor would have a trench in it, I sat so far on the edge of my seat I thought I’d topple over, and I was so caught up in the story I lost track of time and forgot to start dinner on time (I ended up microwaving frozen Salisbury steak like it was my plan all along 😆). This book was even better than book one and that is saying something! To say I am looking forward to the next book would be an understatement of epic proportions. So, while I would love to stay and extol this book’s virtues I am off to start book three! See you in the flip side!

Happy Reading My Friends!

Loved the story. It is well written and full of emotion. There is danger and Betsy is right in the middle with no hope of surviving. Ink enters the picture and as hard as he fought the attraction, he is captivated by her. Together they explore her Little and after discovering her secrets, Ink decides he wants her in his life permanently. There is still a small cliffhanger as to who the Fox actually is, as he seems to come to the aid of Sunny’s closest friends. This is an excellent read and I would highly recommend it.

All the feels! That's what you get with this beautifully written story. It brought tears to my eyes more than once. I also found myself giggling. Then there was the steamy passion that got my blood pumping and the love that filled my soul with joy. Ink and Betsy don't have the easiest path to their HEA. There is danger and secrets surrounding them, but they are also surrounded by this amazing group of people who would give their lives for each other. Luckily, we get to see each of these characters in each of the books.

If you love strong, complex, believable characters, hot steamy love scenes, and a well written story then this should be your next read.

Ok so age play really isn’t my thing kinda makes me uncomfy but I can totally understand why it appeals to others. However BDSM clubs are always super fun to read about and I enjoyed that Betsy was new and that we got to see her explore and find her place as a submissive. And while the plot of this book was leaps and bounds better than book one, I think I’m gonna steer clear of age play from now on.

I like this better than the first book though the first book was good too!

I like that this book (and the first one as well) seemed to be more focused on building/forming a relationship with their partners and the subplots gets more and more interesting!

I'll be reading Spike's book and I'm excited for this broody biker!

This is the second book set in Ms. Roberts' MC/Daddy Dom universe, and though it can be read as a stand-alone in terms of the relationship, Motorcycle Daddy will give you background on the ongoing criminal activity that adds unnecessary and OTT drama to the storyline.

Ink meets newbie Betsy at the resident BDSM club; soon they discover she's a Little and spend many enjoyable evenings together playing. Just as they're about to confess their feelings for each other, Betsy admits that she was that occurred in the previous book. The rest of the story details his efforts to keep her safe while their DD/lg relationship deepens despite its rocky beginning.

If you're looking for a consensual, light Age Play book featuring two likeable characters, you will probably enjoy this. As always, I appreciate how lovingly detailed the MC's relationship is; how devoted the H is to the h; and that the h isn't portrayed as "weak" just because she's submissive (a mistake many generic books make). Personally, I liked the first half of this book better than the second for three reasons. First, the relationship between Ink and Betsy develops relatively slowly for this genre; it was sweet to see him make the nervous sub feel comfortable and cared for. Second, atypically for this author, several of the DD/lg scenes take place in a club, and I don't think I've read such involved Age Play scenes in club settings in other books (and I've read many); this was an interesting change of venue. Finally, Betsy is a true enigma at first and I was interested in getting to know her.

The latter half of the book, however, suffers from this author's usual over-stuffed plots as she throws in everything except the kitchen sink to create tension: . I really wish Ms. Roberts understood that none of this is needed since it simply detracts from the relationship. In addition, it fails as true suspense since it's filled with plot holes and loose ends (we never find out, for example, ). Personally, I skim these scenes.

4 stars. There are several men in this motorcycle club so they'll be several other stories. Oh, and Ms. Roberts: glorifying a motorcycle rider who refuses to wear a helmet is a dangerous message to send; on the other hand, since the majority of organ donations in this country come from people who weren't wearing helmets, I'm sure that one day Ink will provide the ultimate service to people he doesn't even know.

This was a tough one for me to rate because there were things I really liked but also things I really didn't.

I will start with the things I enjoyed. I like Betsy. She had some really interesting moments to me where I thought she really showed strength or uniqueness which was refreshing. There were times I felt like her character got lost a bit but for the most part, I did like her. I also found myself enjoying the plot of this book. It started with a bit of a mystery that had me intrigued. It did get to be a little too much at a certain point. I also found myself enjoying the reappearance of the fox. It ended up having a sweet and fulfilling ending for me. I don't think I have mentioned this before but I love that the main characters don't jump into bed together immediately. There is a buildup where the characters get to know one another.

Now onto the things I didn't enjoy as much. I didn't like a lot of the first half of the story but I will admit that is more due to preference because I am not a big fan of BDSM clubs in the stories I read. I especially did not like the rules and how the one in this book is run. I did like seeing a little space in a club setting though. What really frustrated me about the club was Ink was alright to me. There were times that I liked him but he did play the "I should stay away from her" card a lot. I also thought his priorities felt off at times. .

Hero Daddy is the second book in Laylah Roberts MC Daddies series. In this book we meet two dynamic characters—Elizabeth Victoria McClan (Betsy) and Ink Callahan. Despite being a damsel in distress, she is strong, loving, and innocent. Ink, a biker, is a member of the Iron Shadows and runs his own business, Callahan Security. He is a muscle-bound alpha male who suffers from PTSD. Circumstances bring this two together. Their romantic journey is not an easy one as outside factors work to prevent it. Can Betsy free herself from the evil surrounding her? Will Ink keep her safe? Will Ink and Betsy find happiness?

Ms. Lyndon penned a charming age play, romantic suspense story. Her characters are complex and multi-layered. I appreciated the way she added a bit of suspense with the antagonist, Forrest Robins. Through the inclusion his actions, the tension in the plot appropriately flowed. It is satisfying to discover that justice does prevail. Additionally, Ms. Lyndon's skill with literary devices such as dialog, point of view, and descriptive language positively contributed to the flow and pacing of her plot. All these elements contribute to making this story credible. If you enjoy HEA then you should get this book. Happy Reading!

The chokehold this series has on me 😍

Ink is seriously one of a kind. He may have a small anger issue and he cusses a bunch but he’s so sweet and protective of Betsy. He’s also so much more gentle and caring than he ever gave himself credit for. Their beginning may have been a bit rough but their story is beautiful.

June 2022 review:

~Sweet and shy Betsy knows she’s running out of time. All she cares about is her boys and warning the man she’s come to care about. Ink thinks he’s too rough for her but she calls to him in a way no one has before. Will he help her when he finds out about her home life?~

Love them together. Ink is the protector Betsy has always needed. He will do anything for her including caring for her sons. Royal and Baron are a hoot, my gosh!! Adoring this series so much!

there is a quote part way through the story: "Now she knew that under a rough exterior could beat the heart of a protector." Betsy's experience with the male sex has not been positive. With the exception of her two boys, the men in her life have been abusive, uncaring, and harsh, despite the finer things in life. But Ink's gruffness, his tattoos and his abrupt way of speaking made her feel safe. Will she trust the one who takes her in hand? Will she be able to emerge from the dark and spread her wings? And just how does the Fox play into this new couple's story?

funny and Fox is the best. Though they're pimped like erotic books, they're really focused more on story and not a lot of sex. There's a lot of talk about sex, but not much having it.

Ink et Betsy

Agence de Sécurité (Propriétaire)
Daddy / Petite fille

.

I have loved Ink from book one and am so happy that we finally got to his HEA.

Ink has wanted his own Little for a while now, and watching his friends find their own Littles has only emphasized what's been missing in his own life. When he finds Betsy, he realizes that she is exactly the kind of Little he's been waiting for.

Except that Betsy isn't who she says she is and there is a more sinister reason for her sudden appearance in Ink's life. When Ink finds out his Little hasn't been honest with him and her very life is put in danger, he'll have to pull all the stops to protect his little girl, because Ink has claimed Betsy and no way is he letting her demons take her back.

Final Impressions/thoughts:
Betsy was a sweet and mysterious Little and I was so ready to fall in love with her. She was being paired with one of my top Daddies, after all :)

Part of me still does love her, she had to deal with a lot of hardships and was put in a scary position to protect those she loves so she definitely scored points for her emotional growth and confidence boost that she gets. The other half of me wished she would have been a bit different. Again because she was paired with Ink, I think I had a different picture of how this was all going to play out. The twist of the twins was unexpected and felt a bit too rushed, imo. After anticipating Ink's Little, Betsy didn't quiet measure up to my high expectations. Overall, I did like her but I wanted to really love her :(

Did I love that Ink loved Betsy, flaws and all? Hell yes! I also really loved that this book was meatier than the ones before. Some thought it was too slow but I loved that we got a more in-depth story, more one on one page time with both the MCs and their friends. Not to mention that character development was there in spades. I like spending more time with these Daddies and their Littles so I enjoyed the slower pace.

I still love this author and the wholesome characters she creates. The romance and love story is always sweet and the Littles and Daddies will steal your heart. Jumping into LR's books always gets me into my happy/little space and this one was no different. I loved catching up with the rest of the girls and those scenes always left me feeling giddy :)

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Betsy and Ink, two complete opposites that were made for each other
This is the second book in this series and once again we meet up with the brothers of the Iron Shadows MC, at face value many would simply see a group of heavily tattooed men, many of the giants in stature and they are all in fact one large family all looking out for each other and for their extended family.
Ink meets Betsy at the BDSM club when he is asked to show her around by a rather skittish Angus and even then In was somewhat suspicious about his demeaner, however he coul never have envisioned the can of worms that were being opened by getting to know this beautiful sub and actually finding himself caring for her more than he could ever have envisioned.
Betsy is trapped by Forrest the brother of one of the men her dead husband had worked for and she has been living an existence of hell, since her husband died the beatings stopped and her boys have been taken away and have been put god knows where. The only way she has any chance of getting them back is by doing as she is told, however when she hears that her date of expiry is fast approaching she knows that she has no other option but to turn to Ink and his MC for help, however when they discover her background will he even want to look at her again.
This story has so many twists and turns and there is so much more going on behind the story that you simply get drawn further and further into the plot. The characters are simply wonderful and the different aspects of BDSM and Littles lifestyle is very interesting. The plot has been so well written and I cannot wait to reach future books in this series and even though it is a series you can easily read any of the books and follow the story line.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

🇬🇧 An interesting novel in the MC Romance/DD/lg genre that manages to raise some points of reflection while maintaining the typical traits of the category. Betsy and Ink's story offers moments of tension and sweetness, alternating BDSM club scenes with deeper insights into the protagonist's life.
Pros: Betsy's characterization, showing unexpected strength; plot with mystery elements; slow and credible development of the relationship. Cons: some unrealistic and potentially problematic dynamics in the BDSM club.
Recommended for those who love romances with BDSM elements, MC (Motorcycle Club) stories, and near-instalove with a strong protective component. To be avoided by those sensitive to unbalanced power dynamics or partner punishments.
A book that entertains without being memorable. Perfect for a quick read between other series installments.
