Fantastic! This installment is tortuously delicious! Secrets are revealed and Terry has the best birthday! Although, I'm uncertain who received the best gifts. Terry or Maggie? The jury's out on that one. I love this series and can't wait to see what's next! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A follow up to Terry & Maggie's story, 'The Dom's Submission', this takes place at the club where Dom, Terry has an exciting weekend planned for his Sub Maggie.
Unfortunately something from his recent past threatens to disrupt his relationship and only by allowing himself to be vulnerable can he stop Maggie from fleeing.
Lots of hot sex, but a touching romance with wonderful characters. It would work as a standalone, too, but it would be a shame if you missed out on them meeting. I adore this couple.

Terry and Maggie is my favorite pairing of the La Petite Mort Club series. I was so happy to read this book and I was not disappointed. Terry and his 'little rabbit' do have such great chemistry and the intimate scenes were so sensual that they nearly made the pages burn. When I reached the end it was with a huge sigh of satisfaction and the secret hope to hopefully read even more about the couple.

Holy crap this series is Hot! This is not my typical read, but wow!

Ok so Ellis O. Day can certainly write some hot sexy smut! I usually enjoy lesbian stories but this series grabbed my attention and I have been whipping through it! Having COVID has given me a forced chance to read something new and this is way beyond anything I have ever read before. BDSM is a real different world from mine, it is fascinating, maybe earth shattering, at least to an older woman’s point of view. I find the characters well developed, the setting interesting and the heat level on fire! Yeah, this was a good change of pace.

This story continues Terry and Maggie's weekend at the club.
Terry is fine being in lust with Maggie, but he finds he feelings go beyond that to another l word. Maggie has embraced her feelings for Terry, but she still thinks Terry may end up leaving. As the past trespasses in their weekend, they need to decide if they would rather let it go or fight to keep what they have.
A good continuation, best when read in order.
I adore the honesty that comes from these characters. They are flawed by their past and do their best to make better choices.

I absolutely love reading each episode in this author's series. She has a wonderful knack of creating such real characters that these couples become friends. Terry, the man who was determined never to love again, and Maggie, the mother of three shattered by her ex's deception. Can they truly build a life together?

So dirty but fun. Short but packs an erotic punch! Terry and Maggie are back at the club for Terry's birthday, and what a private party it is! Cherries, whipped cream, chocolate liqueur and all. Terry finally utters those three magic words, after a little fight. I really enjoy this series!

His Love

Talk about a hot hot sexually charged experience. She has been taken to limits she has never imagined possible. And to top that she loved him. Another HEA that warrants possibilities for anyone.

Good read

So glad the author wrote this book as it bridges the 'I love you' gap. Though for a moment Maggie was going to leave. Always nice to read returning characters... Storyline was good. F

Maggie and Terry say the words.

Maggie has set up a Club day for the two of them. Terry loves the idea. Things are looking up for the two of them. You'll need to read the book to see what happens. No spoilers for you. Just know it'll be worth it.

HOT HOT HOT Terry's birthday weekend, I do not know who had a better time, Terry or Maggie. They are my favorite couple. The bonding between them is so real. Cannot wait to see what is in their future. This is true love.

finally

He finally realized he loves her! I really wish he would still apologize for their fight about the house. I can’t believe he still thinks he was right.

His Love picks up right where His Lesson left off: in the middle of Maggie and Terry’s weekend at La Petite Mort Club. They were celebrating Terry’s birthday, but the weekend very nearly ended early in disaster, over a misunderstanding. Maggie was ready to walk out on Terry, but he managed to stop her by blurting out his feelings for her. Terry is not a “feelings” kind of guy, and that wasn’t exactly the way he had planned on verbally romancing her! By day, Terry is well-spoken, a highly educated lawyer, and a sophisticated and refined gentleman by night. It is so deliciously fun to see him brought to his knees by Maggie, the innocent, naïve and unschooled “middle-aged mom” (as she refers to herself). Although he bumbled his plan to make this Club visit uber-romantic for her in the way he wanted, he has decided he will make it up to her the following day by showering her with love at the perfect picnic at the beach, with the whole family in tow. Oh lord, I love it! Can’t wait to read all about it in His Imperfect Day! Five stars for His Love!

I swear when I finished 'His Love' I wanted to clutch my Kindle in a tight hug & NEVER let go.
GAH!
The writing so drew me into the story that at times I almost felt like a voyeur but I didn't care! And it's incredible how Ms. Day was able to take 26 letters, arrange them on a page & effortlessly pull emotions from me. I cared, absolutely CARED, about Terry & Maggie's relationship.
I loved the slow build up to Terry's epiphany & how perfect he wanted the reveal to be for his precious 'little rabbit' (I loooove that endearment!). I was on delicious tenterhooks, the story felt like a written 'Ravel's Bolero' (I don't mean repetitive at all, but mean the beautifully ever increasing tension to an intense & satisfying climax ~ no pun intended!) to me.
I deeply felt both Terry & Maggie's emotional ups & downs & when the tomatoes hit the fan about the secret Terry was keeping from Maggie I was so d*mn WORRIED that things were going to go BAD. Seriously, I was agitated & in my mind yelling: NO, you CANNOT do this to them, PLEASE!!! I was HOPING that SOMEHOW Terry could manage to save the day & reclaim his 'little rabbit's' heart.
And too, my heart was ACHING for this huge, strong, tough man who loved Maggie & her children so much he was terrified to lose them. Ever. GAH! COULD anything be MORE ROMANTIC & touching?? And, my heart ached for Maggie too, despite what her douche ex-husband had done to her & yet she loved Terry (warts & all) & told him & showed him & so hopefully wished he loved her too. Again: GAH!!
And the sex scenes????
The following trigger warning should be listed: A powerful fan, a huge glass of iced tea & a spritzer bottle of iced water is required to read this one!!!
Seriously? H-O-T. Like sizzling FLAMES HOT. Toe curls, lips biting, HOT. Wonderfully satisfying HOT.
. . . . insert delighted romantic sigh . . . .
If you can't tell: I LOOOOVED this one!!! Totally & completely. I think most reader's will too.

Seems like I've followed Terry and Maggie's story from the very beginning and their story just gets better and better with the telling. Of course, they are my favorite couple! They're living together now. Terry has bonded to Maggie's kids and vice versa. Maggie's already told Terry 'I love you'. Terry hasn't told her yet. He wants the moment of revelation to be perfect since it's not every day a divorce lawyer and confirmed bachelor declares himself. Let's not forget the mental damage Maggie's ex left her with so that plays into the scenario as well. The drama, angst, tenderness, love, and hot scenes all combine to make this another great read in the "La Petite Mort Intimate Encounters" series.
I was fortunate enough to be given an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest and unbiased review.

While I admit that I am a huge fan of this author, I will always love Terry and Maggie a little bit more than the others. The book takes us one step further into Maggie’s sexual journey with Terry, and as a reader we also get to see their relationship grow. It is clear that Terry and Maggie have fallen hard for each other. They live together. Terry has bonded with her kids. Their lives are inseparable. Maggie has been telling Terry she loves him, but he has never said the words in return. Terry’s has a revelation and realizes that he loves his rabbit, and is terrified of losing another family. He sucks up his fears, and plans to tell Maggie after the weekend at the club. He doesn’t want her to assume that he loves her because of this weekend. He wants his declaration to be special. After all, it’s not every day that a notorious bachelor/divorce attorney takes a hard fall. As usual life has other plans and Terry is forced to declare his feelings for Maggie earlier than planned.

The book is full of swoon worthy moments, plenty of sighs and the sex scenes between Terry and Maggie are as hot and steamy as ever. Be prepared the those scenes are scorching hot and oh so delicious! This book has everything to capture a reader’s attention and hold it to the end. I promise that you won’t be disappointed with this book or the entire series.

This story was about Terry, a dom, and Maggie, his sub. It was dirty at times but at other times it was a little sweet and romantic. Maggie was worried throughout the book that she had more feelings towards Terry than he had for her and she had been through a tough relationship in the past, so those insecurities caused some issues for the two in the story. I could not put this story down once I started it! I can't wait for the next book in this series!

He finally said, “I Love You”! This story is about Terry and Maggie. Their love story began when he saved her one night and now after being together and she always telling him that she loves him and he never saying it back, he decided it was time he replicated this feeling to her. They both have been married and divorce with ex’s that aren’t worth talking about, but now they live together, and he helps with the children and can never get enough of her. This book is where she gives him a birthday weekend of his choosing at the club that started everything. He is her DOM and she is the perfect SUB, but even in this relationship when she sees something that triggers her past, she is determined to cut her losses now, but will he let her. I love this story.

This book isn’t that long to read but it had my undivided attention from the first word to the very last word. Maggie and Terry are so perfect together and this book begins where “His Lesson” finished, although not completely necessary to read that one first I highly recommend it as I wouldn’t want you to miss anything about this story. There is plenty of steam in this story along with the drama and emotion. I’m not sure how the author manages to fit so much into so few words, but she does and does it so brilliantly.

Again, Wow! Ellis O. Day you did it again. How do you keep writing stories that are exciting and romantic and just as good as the previous stories you write? This book is a continuation of the Terry and Maggie’s Love story, their 2nd night at the La Petite Mort Club. This is a hot, sexy, steamy LOVE story. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Keep writing these La Petite Mort Club series books.
I received a copy of this book from Booksprout for my honest opinion.

Terry and Maggie continue to explore their relationship at the club but not all is well. There is some suspense and something that may derail their relationship. But the story is sweet and romantic and scorching hot that you may need a break or a tall cold glass of water.
