Review: I had to DNF at 30%. It's not that it's a bad book, it's pretty good, but I'm not connecting with the story at the moment and I don't want to push my reading. I'll come back to this book in the future because from what I could see, the story and plotline were great.

Verdict: It’s good but not for me at the moment.

After reading first part, my mind got stucked with Theo because I wanted to read more about her , what happened with her in Eriden. So my curiosity level is intact and when I read this book it didn't disappoint me at all. The story is going at high pace so I completed around in 2 days.

What a marvelous and surprising book is Volume two of the Hybrids series . If I did love the first volume Trouble I have to say I truly adore Vengeance.

Yes, it is again about magical people, loyalty and twist, but now the characters are even more sparkling.  Vengeance is a fast paced story filled with ethical questions, unbelievable and misleading pieces and unexpected storylines which all fell together when you read further.

Maybe, it is because I already know the strong heiress Theo that I now can dig more into her complex past and thoughts. What looks like a new start for Theo ends in a nightmare and nothing is to be trusted anymore. I find it so lovely how Theo fights to discover the truth and she does everything to protect her friends.

Vengeance is more action packed, but it is not like a usual story, no this one is with mental battles, technology, computers and a touch of special powers.

In the first book the characters were introduced,  but now they grow and develop all by what they have experienced in the past and now. The amazing world with his magical creatures has an adventure to come with horrendous things but also with love, hope and trust.

The author has done it again and when I said I was curious to see what she was going to create in this installment, I can share now I am blown away by this book.  After reading this sci-fi part with fantasy elements I can't wait to be captivated by the next chapter in this journey.

I love this thoughtful and wonderful trip and with the cliffhanger and this creative writing style even more detailed and vivid now than in volume 1, I dare to say pick up this series , you won't regret it and by every book it is even getting better.

After reading the first part, I had to go on with the story. Hence, I ended up reading the second book. I wanted to continue the journey with Theo. She had to leave Eriden and enter in a much more complex chaos again. This part somehow got better than the last one. The fast paced adventures keeps you so glued to the book. The thrill of the book is so high and the book is really intense. The mental battle that Theo engages in with Keith is something to read. The book focuses on the main characters which are Theo, Jack, Farren and Keith. When Theo left, she was with Agent Jack who is with SpaceSS. The whole interaction and revelation between them is so Interesting. The moment when Theo compares her own qualities with that of Jack shows more compassion and the relationship between the characters. One of the most shocking revelation is when Jack is arrested on the Spaceport 21 for murdering his own Husband oAlready lost and defeated Theo goes on a downward spiral when her new plans are crushed as well. At some places you mind just chuckle at the dialogues between the characters as I did when I was reading the flirting between Astha and Bibiana. Being a Sci-Fi, the book has numerous characters as they work towards creating a very complex universe. It gets hard at times to put out the characters. I have fallen for the idea of dual realities and it is really exciting. It was an adventurous ride with this part. However, the book holds some grammatical mistakes.the gradual development in the main characters was great and steady to keep the mystery still intact. I really enjoyed reading this book.

I was in love with the first book, so I was not going miss on the second one. And i am so glad I didn't. The book starts with Theo and Jack together on a ship. At first Theo doesn't trust Jack, but as time passes and they get into conversation amd start to get to know each other things change. Theo really wants all her connection with the gambling nova is cleaned and Jack was trying to help her in that.
More than magic and power, this book was all about technology and computers. The author has used them in an absolutely thrilling way.
This book is much more fast-paced than the second book. The way they talked about computer it was all so amazing.
The ending, the author does it again. She leaves us in another cliffhanger, making me believe there's another book to come.
Many authors after a first book, loose their touch, or and unable to maintain yhe interest. But this author has proved that completely wrong. After the first book, this second book is one level up.
I was completely hooked to the book from page one. The author has managed to keep the book engaging and not miss out on anything. There was a perfect flow and nothing felt out of place.
I can't wait to get my hands on other books by this author.

🍂Hybrids Volume Two: Vengeance🍂
Forced to leave Eridan after her mental battle with Keith of Rain Forest, Theo travels to Earth Metropolis with SpaceSS agent Jack Finch. When Jack is arrested for murdering his husband, Farren, Theo’s plans for a new future collapse.
But her moment of triumph turns into a nightmare when Keith launches an attack against the Face Changers.
.
🍂Being the book two in the series, this was truly more intense! If book one is about sci-fi and fantasy, but book two isn't about just fantasy, I am so so glad that it got so much of thrill and twists all over. The plot was so fast paced and gripping. After reading this book, I got to learn and understand more about Theo, the way she grew up as a character and the way she got many layers, that amazing man!
.
Jack, Keith and Farren, all got their story. The language is extremely strong and this book made me realise that yes two worlds and different timelines can exist. I am so much in love with it, it's truly amazing. If you love books filled with mysteries and secrets this is for you. I am so excited to read volume three. Recommended.

OMG such an exciting sequel to trouble ! All our favorite characters are still here and i just cannot tell how i felt for Jack and declan who are my crunches.
Cyand Emmett the cyborg is also so fascinating !!! His double personnality is endearing at long last !!! And discovering Théo's birth planet is so interesting as meeting her mother.
Finally nand's courage is heartbreaking.
It's very difficult to write about this Book without spoilers because the whole story is rich and full of unforseen developpements ! I just cannot wait to know what happens next !!! Please please quick Jennie !!!!
