It's easy to be kind ... Just say thanks. Give a smile. Offer help. When you are kind, others are too. Kindness is a precious quality that we all possess. It can be practiced anywhere and with anyone, it does not require commitment, study or sacrifice, and it makes those who practice it feel good and those who receive it. Isn't it amazing? A sweet pig, funny and above all, very kind, gives us the keys to being a good person.
Oh, why is this one so cute?! And yes, this picture book is done so incredibly well! I am so impressed. It's full of all the great things of being one of the best picture books. The art is subtle yet clear and outstanding. The words are few yet so effective and crisp. My heart is still melting. Everything about this book is perfect!
Thank you #NetGalley for this fabulous picture book #LittleBookOfKindness
This is a sweet little book that shows simple ways that we can all show kindness. The illustrations are simple yet adorable, and the minimal text offers just enough narrative to highlight the pictures.
I'd recommend this to readers looking for uncomplicated books about kindness.
Thank you to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for providing a digital ARC.
This is a lovely book about kindness, but it doesn't bring anything new. The illustrations are really cute, though! I could easily imagine reading this with really young kids, as an introduction to good values and friendship.
Thanks to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the free advance copy in exchange of an honest review.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.
This is a very beautifully illustrated book that shows both children and adults (who I find so very often, that could do with reminding of this -adults that is not children), ways to show kindness towards others, each other and the world and planet we live in/on. Each page is easy to understand through both the small annotation and beautiful drawing. I will be grabbing a paper copy of this as soon as it is released!
This book was awesome! Such a great message in it and the artwork was stunning. Very fine line work and few colors but the result was very beautiful. I like everything about this one! Great job!
Beautifully illustratrated with a touch of colour and an ocean of love. "It's easy to be kind. Offer a smile. Say thank you. Lend a helping hand. You'll see that when you are kind, others are kind too." Long my this be true. 'A little book about kindness and friendship. For people of all ages.' - Age Range: 3 - 6 years.
Francesca Pirrone is Italian and a rare talent for drawing and creating simple truths.
"I designed the character of piglet on a hot and boring July afternoon two years ago. I immediately fell in love with him – he was sweet, funny and above all: he seemed kind… I started thinking about kindness; a precious quality that we all possess. It can be practiced anywhere and with anyone, it does not require commitment, study or sacrifice – yet it makes those who practice it and those who receive it feel good. Isn’t that great? Try it for yourself … word of piglet! "
When we share this book with our young toddlers and early school children we will havea smile on our faces. The pages before them will do the rest. We are not setting them up with over ambitious pressure but sharing what it is to be a human child. May these simple words and engaging ilustrations be reflected also in our lives to demonstrate we carry these words in our own hearts.
This is such a cute book! The message is one that’s really needed in today’s society. Teaching children to be kind is the greatest gift you can give them. Treat others how you want to be treated and always be respectful of everyone else’s opinions.
The art is cute and perfect for children. It properly demonstrates how to be kind and how kindness can help you as well as everyone around you.

Alcuni albi illustrati che nascono per bambine e bambini sono un gran regalo per le persone adulte. È bello compiere gli anni quando arrivano pensieri così, a qualunque età. Da sfogliare e risfogliare.
Cute book about a little pig. He goes around the town. And discover he can help others in distress. He helps the needy and in exchange derives great satisfaction. A nice art book to train children about importance of helping others and being kind. Illustrations are candid, cute and gel smoothly with theme of the book. Thanks netgalley and publisher for review copy.
I requested and received an e-ARC of this book from NetGalley and Clavis Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
The illustrations and sentiment expressed in this book are awesome. It is a great reminder that kindness comes in many forms and we should all strive to be kinder.
This is a short book with beautiful illustrations with the power of making the reader smile regardless of their age! The advice given are helpful for kids and parents without being didactic and I believe it would attract the attention of young readers quite well with its set of characters and illustrations!
This is an absolutely adorable book for young children. It gently, sweetly and humorously illustrates ways to be kind. The illustrations are delightful, to the muted side but in a good way. Highly recommended!
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this read in exchange for an honest review.
I love the simplicity of this book. It's a great read with young children, the simple words and illustrations lead to great conversations about what it means to be kind. I love the message of this story, I think teaching kindness to so important for everyone, especially our littles. I think this book will inspire people of all ages to complete simple acts of kindness.
This is a quick book focussed mainly on illustrations of various acts of kindness, I loved the rabbit the best myself but all the animals are cute and the small captions accompanying the pictures are to the point and sum up kindness perfectly.
Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!
The hardcover edition in English isn't listed here on Goodreads. This book just made me happy. The illustrations and message are lovely. Everyone should read this.
Little book about kindness. A cute little book that you can mixup pictures and children can learn to be kind. Children love stories about things that are not too long.
Er zijn momenten dat je iemand met een klein gebaar wil bedanken. Voor al die keren hulp die voor jou zo belangrijk zijn, maar voor de ander een vanzelfsprekendheid zijn. Een boodschap, even oppassen of iedere week iemand ergens heen brengen.

Description from NetGalley “It’s easy to be kind. Offer a smile. Say thank you. Lend a helping hand. You’ll see that when you are kind, others are kind too.
A little book about kindness and friendship. For people of all ages.”

My thoughts... Just like the description, this book is straight to the point. This is an adorable book about the act of kindness. The sweet and simple illustrations are captioned with very few words. I liked this a lot. There’s a lot of room for adults to expand on the illustrations such as creating a story for it. And, I agree about this book being “for people of all ages.” In our current times, some adults may need a reminder on how to be kind.
This book was so adorable! The message is so gentle and easily understandable. The best part is the various problems that arise, and the simple and kind solutions that make everything better. This book gave me hope in the midst of the world collapsing unto itself, so for any children who read this, the message will be loud and clear. Just be kind. Even if no one is kind back to you, it's important to be kind for the sake of kindness. I loved the illustrations, they were simple, cute, subtle, and efficient supported the story and the text on each page. That pig is doing more for the environment than anyone I know. My favorite part was the hidden cat in the trash can. That was definitely a pleasant surprise as I couldn't see it coming. I hope that pig and their kitty cat have the best life surrounded by friends and well-wishers. Amazing book! 10/10 recommend!
*Thank you to the publishers; Clavis publishing, the author; Francesca Pirrone, for my free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.
As expected, a sweet children's book about kindness. Gorgeous illustrations and minimal text. Because of the minimal words on each page, parents and children are drawn into conversation about what’s shown in each picture, making this book interactive. It can sometimes be difficult to keep my 4 year old son’s attention while I read to him and he tends to like silly books, so this wasn’t a fit for him. However, I’d recommend this book to parents with 3-4 year olds, especially children who listen to stories attentively.
Thank you to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for providing a copy of this ARC.
Little Book of Kindness by Francesco Pirrone is a lovely little book with simple but beautiful illustrations. How to teach empathy has been on my mind lately after a conversation with a psychologist about teaching empathy in med school and how the Danish teach it to children in school as they grow up. This book will be such a good addition to our little library as it shows easy ways that anybody can show kindness and compassion to the world and the people around them. I only wish that it was longer!
This is a very sweet book whose message is on the back of the book- “ It’s easy to be kind. Offer a smile. Say thank you.. Lend a helping hand. You”lol see when you are kind, others are kind too” The book has illustrations showing the pig demonstrating each of these principles and how small acts meant a lot to those helped. We all need reminders of the proverb “ do unto others” and this book is a sweet and gentle illustration that you and your child can enjoy. Thank you to #netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

If you have ever had the time to think how difficult it is to be kind in this world , then Little Book of Kindness is just the right book to pick up. This book is a completely wholesome, sweet, and absolutely adorable read.

"Little Book of Kindness" is a sweet book about a piglet who completes acts of kindness as he goes about his day and makes the world better one little step at a time.
The book sends a lovely message, the illustrations are adorable and the sparse text is typeset in a very nice font, which is not to be underestimated in children's books.
A simple primer for being civil and polite – since when did we even need books like this?! A pig and his friend share things, take turns, and look after their lot and their friends, and the simple, pared down text says that's what we all should do, and that's it. It is a lovely, warm book, and the approach it has will make this a lesson easily learnt – it's just disappointing that is has to be stated in the first place that kindness is a good thing.
The Little Book of Kindness was absolutely precious, and I absolutely loved the illustrations! I read this to my step children and I really appreciated the examples of easy ways to be kind. Teaching kindness and respect for others is our number one priority as a family, and I feel like Francesco Pirrone has created a story that I would gladly buy and share with my children and other parents alike.
This book is so simple yet perfect! The Little Book of Kindness is just right to help our toddlers begin to understand just what it means with fun illustrations. Yet, our older children will enjoy it as well. I can see it being used in different settings as a teaching tool on how to be kind and what an impact that can make. Did I mention the illustrations are absolutely adorable?
Thanks #NetGalley for giving me a chance to read #TheLittleBookOfKindness!
This is a cute little book that offers kids ideas on what it means to be kind. It's really a simple concept that more people should use. The illustrations are simple and appealing to children. The illustrations tell the story as there are few words. There are few words but it works and kids and adults will understand. As they say a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book for my honest opinion!
