Swallowing lies has never felt so good.

Reed freaking Rivers. I wouldn’t trust a word out of the arrogant music mogul’s mouth if his gold-plated tongue were notarized. The Man with the Midas Touch would say anything to get me into his bed, and I know it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want him to succeed.

Indeed, the moment I laid eyes on Reed while he was speaking at an on-campus event I’d crashed, my body physically ached to feel his golden fingers—and tongue—all over me. Unfortunately, though, I can’t give into my powerful craving to jump Reed’s cocky bones. Not until I’ve figured out my best strategy with him . . .

The truth is Reed has something I desperately want. Something my heart desires even more than my body craves one night of delicious fun with the yummiest man alive. Reed assumes he’s running this game of seduction. He thinks he’s a thirty-four-year-old big cat on the prowl, and I’m nothing but a blushing twenty-one-year old field mouse with stars in my eyes.

Yeah . . . no.

As Reed is about to find out, he’s not the only cat on the hunt in this game of cat-and-mouse . . . .

BAD LIAR is the first book of the standalone REED RIVERS TRILOGY. The full trilogy is BAD LIAR, BEAUTIFUL LIAR, and BELOVED LIAR, to be read in order.

I just finished this book moments ago, and I am not at all exaggerating when I tell you this is by far Laurens best work to date. I have wanted Read's story ever since I discovered this incredibly talented lady, and MAN OH MAN, this exceeded my wildest expectations.

We know Reed is dubbed as having the "Midas Touch": everything he comes in contact with turns to pure gold. He is the man who is always ten steps ahead of everyone else and will do whatever it takes to make what he wants happens. He's the one who turned his label into what it is today through fierce work and determination, and he's still not done conquering the world. He is very anti relationship, and if you've read Laurens previous books, there was hints that he was very literally screwed over. Because of that, and so many more things that were revealed (which you'll just have to read to find out!😉) he has absolutely no desire to be a prince charming. And we all know it would take an incredible woman to tie the great Reed Rivers into knots, and boy does he meet his match!!

Georgina -- Georgie-- is absolutely EVERYTHING you want from a heroine: she's tough, sassy, doesn't take Reeds shit, has a backbone, is vulnerable and has a determination that rivals our hero to make her dreams come true.. And is just the perfect blend of sweet, fiery, sexy, and a BADASS. Seriously this woman is perfect. Even before these two actually speak to one another you know the attraction between them is intense, but when they actually interact with one another? HOLY BALLS MY OVARIES.🔥🔥

Besides their obvious fire, there is such a deep emotion to these two characters, and I can't wait to peel back their layers and see everything underneath. I connected to Reed in ways I wasn't prepared for, and there were parts in the story where my heart just broke for him. I know you all will fall in love with him immediately just like I did! And Georgie too!! I can't stop gushing about just how perfect this entire book is!!!!

I cannot express just how magical these two are together.. I started this book and could not put it down!! Reed and Georgie will completely own your soul and immerse you into their story, all the while making you beg for more! I can't wait for the other two books!!

Lauren has stated that the words in these books just poured out of her, and it so obvious how true that is and just how much she loves these two characters. Trust me when I say that you need to one click as soon as possible!!!!

Also, this trilogy are completely separate from Lauren's other books, so if you are new to her this is the perfect place to start! Happy reading!!! Xoxo

**I I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Well isn't this an incredible little turn of events.

This is the BEST Lauren Rowe book. Not only in terms of writing; but tone, storytelling, steam, drama.

Guys...it's all here. I thought I had a favourite LR book (Hey Rockstar, Hey) but Bad Liar, Reed Rivers and Georgie blow all the other couples out the water (Sorry Dax, LOVE YOU, MEAN IT)

I knew before I started this that Reed was going to be something special. He's been on the outskirts of The Morgan Brothers series for a while and well enquiring minds want to know.

Here we get the first in what will eventually be a trilogy about the Man With The Midas Touch. And what can I say about Georgie? She is everything. Reed is everything. Together? Forgetaboutit. Explosions, chaos, supernova. Boom.

Since I heard we were getting a trilogy of Reed Rivers, I knew Lauren was going to knock it out the park. She did. She also knocked out the block, out the city, out the state. And this is just the start?!? I'm stunned that this could get better, but I'm ready because I know. I just know I ain't seen nothing yet.

Although Reed has appeared in her other books, these books will stand alone from that, so if you're looking for a place to kick off what I know will be your love of Lauren Rowe, then I can't think of a better place to start.

5 stars? Nah. I'd give this at least 14 stars, but since 5 is all Goodreads will let me have, 5 it is.

**I received an ARC of this and all the above opinions are my own**

“Even if you ‘only’ kissed her, which I don’t believe, does that really make it okay in your book? If I secretly disappeared with someone... Let’s say Savage. He’s hot as hell. Let’s say I disappeared with Savage into your garage, in the middle of the party tonight, without telling you, and I made out with him in here until my lips were swollen and my lipstick smeared and my face bright red and my hair tousled—but it meant nothing to me!—that would be perfectly fine with you? That wouldn’t break your heart, after everything that’s happened between us this week?”

“Georgie,” I choke out, the enormity of what I’ve done slamming me. “Please, put yourself in my shoes. The example of Savage isn’t the same thing. I’ve known Isabel tenyears. She’s getting married and wanted one last kiss. It was a goodbye kiss, Georgie. It’s unreasonable for you to expect me not to give her that, after ten years of knowing her, when I’ve only known you a matter of weeks."

PS: This scene happens in book two, so if you don't like reading books about cheaters then be warned.

Guys, a word of warning – this book isn't just hot... it's on FIRE!! Holy moly! I've read all of Lauren Rowe's previous books, and I can honestly say each and every one of them is sensational. But Bad Liar? Man, it's on a totally different level. Her writing literally BLOWS MY MIND time and time again. This book is simply OUTSTANDING!

I hope you’re ready to dive into Reed and Georgina's world - because you'll get totally submerged into their story, and won’t want to come up for air until the very last word on the final page. It truly is MAGNIFICENT. They're the perfect match for each other!

Although Reed is cocky and arrogant, he’s everything you could possibly want in a man... and then some, and the gorgeous Georgina is feisty as anything! Her sassiness is totally off the scale! I adore her!

Bad Liar is the first book of the standalone Reed Rivers trilogy, (with Beautiful Liar and Beloved Liar to follow shortly thereafter) - and I'm actually quite glad it's in three parts. I LOVE the anticipation of what’s to come next, and truth is I want to wallow in Reed and Georgina's story for as long as possible! As with all of Lauren’s books, you can guarantee that it will definitely be worth the wait.

In my opinion, Lauren Rowe’s BEST work to date. 5 humongous sexy gold shiny stars for sure! BRAVO!

The words that I'm about to write will truly not capture how AMAZING this book is. Lauren's brilliant words caused me to read this book in one sitting and block out the real world until I finished. I couldn't read the words fast enough. This new, long-awaited standalone trilogy may just be her best work yet.

Reed is billed as the Man with the Midas Touch, but he doesn't seem to apply this to his love life. He's a player that no one would consider a Prince Charming, but then he meets Georgie and it's game on baby. She's marvelous, strong, fierce, SASSY, not afraid to say what she feels and let's emotions guide her choices. To put it frankly...she's a BADASS! She's by far my favorite female character ever. Not just of Luaren's, but EVER! It is so rare to find female characters that balance strength, emotion, and sexuality in an admirable way, but Georgie checks all of those boxes.

Reed is so screwed with this girl. He's kind and thoughtful, but keeps that hidden under a mask of bravado, cockiness, and his radiating sexuality. Trust me when I say this...he will make you swoon hard core. Watching him squirm and ache for Georgie is so thrilling and addicting.

The two of them together combust and pull you deeper in with every page you read. Then the ending leaves you with the aching need for more, in the best possible way. Talk about a book hangover! I have to read it again right now just to get another fix until I can get my hands on Beautiful Liar, which is book number 2 in this trilogy that has me utterly enraptured and spellbound.

Lauren is a genius and you can truly tell she put everything she had into this book. You feel the passion in every word, plus the sexiness is off the charts HOT!

Ahhh!
This
Was
EPIC!

Lauren Rowe and her ability to capture my heart with her amazing words will never cease to amaze me. I'm ashamed to say It's been a while since I have read anything by this author and I am realizing again now why I love her work so damn much. She's flawless and a master at her craft.

Going into this I had an expectation and of course, they were met, but I didn't expect was just how much this story between Georgina and Reed would grab hold of me.

Georgina is sassy and witty, feisty and fun. She's strong-headed, open and stays true to herself and loves herself. Honestly could not ask for a better heroine in a romance book. Honestly, she was perfect in every day, and I kind of had a slight woman crush on her!

Reed is the type of guy who thinks he can have what he wants when he wants it and what he wants is Georgina and to him, he thinks it's an easy hunt, but the last thing he expected was for her to turn him down. But he won't stop at that and will do just about anything to get this firey and sassy woman. Reed finds it intriguing and a massive turn on that this woman isn't dropping to her knees and begging for him as most women would. That she isn't want to instantly fall in love with him and that she is making him work it and work for it he does!

These two together were fireworks, the way they bounced off each other, but also grounded each other in a way. The chemistry and sexual tension between these two were thick and intense, to say the least, and had me craving more as the book progress.

This would have to be one of my top reads of 2020 so far and I am itching for book two!

5 Stars!

Would you ever believe me if I said that this was Lauren Rowe's BEST BOOK YET, if I said it was her BEST WRITING YET, her BEST STORYTELLING YET?!?! Because it is! Never mind anything that has come before, THIS, this is IT! The ABSOLUTE ULTIMATE!

Lauren has thrown us DEEP into the world of REED RIVERS and I NEVER, EVER want to leave!
Bad Liar is the first book of the BRAND NEW standalone trilogy featuring Reed Rivers, music mogul extraordinaire and keeper of my heart and soul. No prior reading of any of Lauren's books are required to read this book, to start this trilogy, you can just dive in and revel in all that is Reed Rivers.

I am struggling to put into words how EPIC this book is and this is only the beginning. I am in awe. Everything to do with this book is UTTER PERFECTION! Reed is EVERY-DAMN-FUCKING-THING you want him to be and Georgie is pure SASS and FIRE and I abso-fucking-lutely LOVE HER! Together, the two are FIRE. I am so freaking glad there are three books (releasing around 4 weeks apart) for Reed & Georgie because I CANNOT GET ENOUGH of them!

Bad Liar will begin a journey for you, as it has done for me, that you will never forget. It is undoubtedly Lauren's best work yet. Impeccable story telling, amazing characters, connection, emotion, heat, humour, EVERYTHING! Bad Liar is a TOP, TOP, HIGHLY memorable read of 2020!

I have been so excited to read Lauren Rowe’s Reed Rivers trilogy and the first book did not disappoint. After reading all the other books Reed is connected to, I feel like I know him pretty well. I loved getting more of his story and I’m so excited to read more!

Reed freaking Rivers. Gah! This story flashbacks to some of Reed’s college days as well as the present time when he meets 21 year old recent college graduate, Georgina. Reed is 34 so this is an age gap in the best way.

I loved Reed and Georgie together. I can’t wait to see where the rest of their story goes and I’m definitely going to get to the next one soon!

OMFG! Where do I even start?? How do I even start? Bad Liar is book one in the very highly anticipated stand alone Reed Rivers trilogy. I have known all along it was going to be epic, but knowing it and experiencing it are two different things! Lauren Rowe has taken things to a new level. Just when you think she can’t get any better (because she is already so talented) she digs down and and produces this brilliant book that I can’t get enough of. Reed is everything, absolutely everything. And Georgie? She is sassy and exactly what Reed needs in his life! The two together? Explosive and Dynamite! Bam! The writing is brilliant. The characters are amazing. This book will give you absolutely all of the feels. Even though I knew it would be amazing, I was blown away by it. 5 stars is not enough!!

The wait is finally over and man has this book surpassed my expectations. Was waiting for Reed worth it? Heck yes! We see a sexy, successful, bad ass, don’t mess with me or the ones I care for kind of guy or you will be sorry. There is another side of him I was not expecting to see, and man did it make me swoon more than I already was. He holds secrets of his past that makes me understand why he is the way he is. Oh and let’s not forget, how he isn’t the relationship kind of guy. That’s until he meets his match.

His match? Georgina, what a match! She is his undoing for sure. She’s this sassy, spitfire, sexy, don’t mess with me kind of girl. She is driven, a force to be reckoned with and I absolutely love that she doesn’t shy away from meeting Reed head on with his flirting or bantering, and let me tell you their bantering is one of the best, and the flirting? Holy hotness! Turns out she also has a past, one that’s made her who is she is, but that hasn’t stopped her in wanting to succeed in life. She’s kind and giving, yet fierce when she needs to be. She is to me one of the best female characters Lauren has created.

Seeing the two coming together was roller coaster ride of emotions. I laughed, I cried, I was angry then swooning, I was elated. See? It was a roller coaster ride, but one I enjoyed to the fullest. The cosmic pull between them was always there, it didn’t matter what was happening between them. The chemistry from the moment their eyes locked on each other’s was so palpable. Lauren’s writing is incredible!
This is her best book!!! Oh and have I mentioned the plot that’s developing bedsides their relationship? Well I actually won’t because I personally don’t like to give out spoilers in my reviews. Just know it is brilliant!

Lauren has given so much to us in this first book I can’t even imagine how it will all end. She has definitely in my opinion created a masterpiece! So if you haven’t read this book yet, do yourself a favor and do so. You won’t regret it.

The player meets his match...

I can't breathe. The dynamics and sexual tension between Reed and Georgie are so intense I found myself breaking out in goosebumps. Reed is the most egotistical, insolent, high handed man you would ever not want to meet. But he is also sultry, seductive, provocative and blunt, oh and definitely easy on the eyes.

Georgie hates and wants Reed in every bad way. Reed thinks he can tame this much younger woman, but he has met his mirror image in Georgie. She is fiery, brassy and fearless and can hold her own with Reed. Reed finds her strength a huge turn on and has him spiraling out of his comfort zone. Reed definitely has his work cut out for him, he has never had to put the work in to try to win over a woman before.

I am so happy that Lauren Rowe has made this a trilogy because I am sure there are tumultuous hazards ahead with these two. I say bring it on!!!!

Honestly, I tried.
He was an arrogant pig and not in the charming way. Disgusting how he talked to people..
And she had words diarrhea . She was talking to her new boss (female) about her sex life while being interviewed for the first time by her. She asked her boss permission, if the opportunity arise can she sleeps with the label musicians.
I'm like.. just 🤔
Really??

* Scenes that lasted forever. You have to fill three books right?

* Thirteen years age gap is something very profound. Especially if the heroine is fresh out of college and acting her own age (21) and he's (34) a big businessman OTT alpha dog treating her like the child she is.
It fucked with my head.

*Longest slow burn. The sizzling chemistry between the mc in the beginning fade to Black, imo, because all the push and pull games.

I really think that this could have been a great story if it had been one book and not three.

Lauren Rowe has been teasing us for months about how awesome Bad Liar is and she did not disappoint. Not one little bit. I devoured every single word and am now fangirling over my hands-down, new absolute favorite book. Bad Liar is a masterpiece that exceeded my every expectation. As an avid reader of about 250 books a year, her brilliant storytelling captured my attention and my heart from page one and there was no turning back. I was immediately hooked.

Oh Reed Rivers, our sexy hero who isn’t very hero worthy at times but you love him all the same. He overcame a traumatic childhood and made his fortune all on his own; he’s cunning, formidable, bossy, and one hell of a smart businessman who knows what he wants, does what he wants, and doesn’t let anyone in. We learn his stone heart does have a soft side as is evident by how he cares for his mom, sister, nephew, and friends.

With a wicked tongue and tough exterior Reed is successful and powerful, and use to getting his own way with no questions asked. That is until he meets Georgina who turns his world upside down. She is bada$$ and her honest take-no-prisoners attitude had me shouting “you go girl” over and over. She’s young but independent, a caretaker for her dad and sister, confident in her abilities yet willing to learn, and totally captivated and drawn to Reed while not compromising her integrity.

The two of them together are explosive and I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED their witty flirty banter, one-liners, stubbornness, and how their undeniable chemistry was smoking hot even before they even spoke to one another. She’s nobody’s fool and knows he’s not after her affections or her heart. He has met his match and for the first time in his life, can’t stop thinking about this fearless, feisty beauty who challenges him, makes him laugh, and fills him with desire all at the same time. I loved their arguments and how, unbeknownst to him, he finds himself willing to compromise and laying down the gauntlet. I belly laughed out loud so many times!

Lauren’s writing is always vivid, sexy and smart and will keep you engaged the entire time. I have read and loved everything she every published, but this book is truly exceptional. I’d give it a hundred stars if I could. The author meticulously wrote page after page of tension building foreplay that kept me up until 3 am because I couldn’t go to sleep without knowing what happens next.

There were so many delicious moments and I am so excited for books two and three as I know more and more about the real Reed Rivers will be revealed. Is Georgia the woman to finally get him to open up and surrender to love? I for one am counting on it.

BEST EVER!!!

There is no way I can even describe how epically awesome this book is. For me it is Lauren's best book ever and I love them all.

Reed "The Man with the Midas Touch" Rivers thinks he can get what he wants when he wants it.
He is a player for sure until he meets sweet and sassy Georgie.

Georgie is a BADASS woman who doesn't put up with crap. Reed thinks she will be eating out of his hand but when she turns him down that makes him want her even more and boy does she make him work for it.

These two have the chemistry that is explosive and off the charts and when they get together it tilts the worlds axis.

2.75 stars because my dumb ass for some reason thought that this was a full-length standalone novel

Um, so, this is a novella, a part 1 out of 3 and I realised this little tid bit 30% into the book. Needless to say, I didn't want to read a novella when I picked this up, so after my "discovery", my enjoyment levels just went📉📉📉

Objectively was the story that bad? I'd say no, but, and I'll sound absurd here given that I'm mad it's not a full book, it felt too long . Let me explain, nothing happened in this book, or okay almost nothing, but his was almost 200 pages long and I can tell you about everything that happened in like two sentences: (spoilers obviously)
They met, they flirted, they argued, a whole lot of unnecessary scenes with unnecessary people, he got her a job with him, they met again, argued AGAIN, had super mediocre sex.

What sold me on this story was the feisty heroine and feisty she was. However, it was amusing and fresh at first, but quickly it just got annoying because she argued with him over EVERYTHING, to the point that it was just plain self-sabotage, or would've been had this not been a romance book where he wants to sleep with her so much.

Like, I might be a bitch desperate for a graduate job, but if I had the chance to speak with such important people in the industry, I would not be so rude and at least at first I'd kind of just go with the flow because I want to keep my dream job. idk might just be me

There was a lot of waffling in this book, especially in the middle. What especially stuck to mind was Reed having these deep monologues about the music industry, how hard it is to succeed there and how things really work, and I'm sitting here thinking

also there was an entire chapter of Reed calling a firm for escorts and "ordering" one, and talking about how successful he'll be to the lady on the phone. for. an. entire. chapter.

There was such build-up to them finally sleeping together and when it happened-

the steamy scenes will probably get better in the next books, but I'm not reading them so...

I liked the writing, Ms Rowe has a way with words, it kept things somewhat entertaining thoughout the book despite as I said not a whole lot happening.
The first 40% were quite fun to read and I liked their banter before it got too old.

All in all, idk what to tell you really. Did I like it? Not particularly. But it was kind of my fault for not checking whether it was a standalone or not and managing my expectations. But also it was nothing ground-breaking as a novella. Meh.

Holy hell did Lauren kick this trilogy off with a slow burning, addictive attraction that ignites so deep within it won’t die out no matter how hard you try to smother it! Reed and Georgina are PURE FIRE. The classic game of cat and mouse is brought to new heights as you see both players deal with their internal pulls of not only the physical but mental attraction that only we see as a reader. They may think this is only short term and that their raging inferno is under control, but we know it’s not, not by a long shot. I am so amped for Beautiful Liar. Bring it on.

From top to bottom, Reed Rivers is more than a chick magnet—he’s a Taser gun.

Trilogy: Book 1 of 3
My Thoughts: The following are my thoughts about this book:
Characters:
- Reed (34, owns a highly successful record label, River Records: Reed’s mother is in a mental facility and when he was a teenager his father committed suicide while in prison. The first time the reader is introduced to Reed he is 34 and at the height of his success. He is confident, sexy, arrogant and intimidating. When the story flashes back to his college days, we see a different kid who has a chip on his shoulder and a goal of conquering the world.
- ”Thanks to you, people hear my last name and think things like “liar” and “thief” and “fraud.” But one day, after I’ve built my empire from nothing but my blood, sweat, and tears and relentlessness, people will hear the name Rivers and think words like “mogul” and “winner” and “self-made man.”

- Georgina (21, recent college graduate- journalism degree): Georgina is a breath of fresh air. She is feisty, has a bit of a temper and can be stubborn. But, she has a way with people that seems to charm everyone she encounters, she has a fun personality and she is extremely loyal.

- Together:
- Reed and Georgina were fun together. They had a lot of chemistry and some great banter that just made their story enjoyable. They had a “I’m wildly attracted to you”/ “I’m pissed off at you” vibe about them. A little hot and cold with each other, which made their interactions entertaining.
- ”Is it weird I’m not sure I like him, but I’m hella certain I want to fuck the living hell out of him?”

- They have a really slow burn to the bedroom scene. No lack of sexy, flirty innuendo banter and dirty talk, but the dirty deed didn’t happen until the end of this book. It didn’t bother me seeing as this is a trilogy, but just giving you fair notice on that point.

- There wasn't anything that I didn't love about these two. Their chemistry was smokin hot, they had great banter and interesting negotiating skills. LOL

5 glorious stars for Bad Liar!

“I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel my heart start to trembling
Whenever you're around…”

This is the song that I immediately felt, when I’m reading about Reed & Georgina. The tension, chemistry, and L-U-S-T is palpable. I love that Reed Rivers has finally met his match, and it is beyond anything he can handle.

I’ve wanted Reed’s story for a while, and Lauren beautifully gives it to us. Her writing is impeccably done in that true L fashion. It’s amazing to see what makes him tick, and to also see the sensitivity that lies underneath that he tries so hard to hide.

Georgina is a grade A firecracker x10! I love her spirit, personality, and her brain. She is a clever girl, and she has made our guy C-R-A-Z-Y!

Ready for book 2 with a quickness!!

Bad Liar is the type of book that you will want to clear your schedule for because once you crack open those pages, you won’t want to put it down until you've devoured every last word.

Reed Rivers has surpassed all of my expectations. He is that intriguing. As the ruler of the music world with the “Midas touch”, Reed is the epitome of arrogance, sex, and success. With a somewhat abrasive nature and oozing in sensuality, I am reveling in how the author is slowly pealing back the layers to reveal why he is the way he is.

Reed has met his match with Georgina (Georgie) and it is near impossible not to love her. The girl is quite the saucy spitfire and keeps this music mogul on his toes. She is sassy, possesses a backbone, and also has a hint of vulnerability about her.

Theirs is a game of seduction wrought with sexual tension and flirty banter. The sparks between these two are electrifying and I cannot wait to see how it all unfolds.

Bad Liar is book 1 in a standalone trilogy so it does end in a cliffhanger, but I for one don’t mind as it just means we get that much more Reed and Georgie. This book is a phenomenal read that captivated me right from the first page and kept me enthralled due to this author’s brilliant storytelling and impressive character development.

I read an early complimentary version of this book.

OMG, I’ll start with saying that I always found Reed Rivers to be a hard ass when I come across him in the previous books (side character) but I always wanted to know more about him.
And let me say Bad Liar is a great start to getting to know Reed Rivers, and yeah he is a hard ass but you get a glimpse as to how and why he become that way. And guess what, he meets the female version of himself 😂 and she is fierce and strong and so very funny.
FYI: this is a standalone so you don’t need to read any previous books before you get your hands on this, but for your own pleasure and enjoyment I highly recommend you read them all 😉
I can honest say I can’t wait for book 2 in this trilogy, and the audiobooks that will follow.

I loveeeeee Reed Rivers!! Holy sheetttt!! This is my newest TOP FAVORITE from Lauren Rowe! She upped her game to the next level with this sexiness and has blown me away! I’ve been waiting for this story and it does not disappoint. It slays!

Here’s what I loved:
Reed was made for me. He is MINE MINE MINE! Pure alphahole lusciousness!

Georgie is one of my top favorite heroines from this author. She’s feisty, confident, and so strong willed. Exactly who she needs to be to stand up to the alphahole that is Reed Rivers

The chemistry between these two floats of the page and consumes the reader. It couldn’t get any better than this.

In case the gushfest didn’t make it clear, I love this book and highly recommended this series.

Note to self avoid.
h is another doormat.

***** Spoilers****

At the end of book 2, H cheats on the heroine with his on off again fuck buddy of 10 years. Yup, he was willing to risk his relationship with the h, and if the h hadn’t walked in, things would’ve gone farther. They were at a party, he snuck away with the ow to the garage in secret for old time sake. This was premeditated. He went looking for a place to cheat together.
So for all these reviewers saying oh it’s only blah blah…yea, only because the h walked in and caught them.
He admits that he cheated.

Book 3 h takes him back promptly,
and you find out that H had feelings for and was STILL very much attracted to that ow he cheated with even after 10 years of being together.
Reviewers and commenters said H was totally pussy whipped by this ow, even though he said he loved the h.🙄

You think this man can stay faithful? HEA? Really?🙄

- I can’t believe the reviewers calling this h strong.😂
Smashing a rich man’s cars when you catch him cheating on you, doesnt make you a strong woman, just a violent one.
Especially when the cheater is a rich asshole, those cars are like dishes for regular people.🙄
Not accepting a cheater back, because you know you deserve better, IS what makes you a strong AF woman.
A better revenge - instead of smashing cars, she should’ve gone out right after catching him, and found another man to revenge fuck for a good time! Make sure to video the whole thing, so she could share it with him. Then continued to have amazing sex with other men freely.
All these people calling this h strong fir smashing some cars…yea, I don’t get it.

And certainly, she is not a strong woman, when she takes him back quickly after making silly excuses for him, so her taking him back wouldn’t reflect poorly on herself. 🙄🙄

I’m giving this book 1 star unread, because fake reviewers are giving it 5 stars unread, and also, because unrated reviews don’t show up unless people are friends. Warning innocent safety readers here what theyre signing up to with this series.

I had to wait a day to put my feelings together about this book. Because let me tell you, I have so many feelings.

Bad Liar jumps right in and grabs you by the balls. I mean seriously. Immediately hooked.

Chapter 2, you meet the heroine. Oh man, do I love that girl!! We also meet her sister, and she is a fantastic secondary character!!

Now, Reed and Georgina. What a powerhouse. They click like they should. They don't back down. They don't bow down. And they don't lie about they want 🤷‍♀️. At least at the start 😏

I'm so damn happy that Lauren gave us yet another couple to follow and love. I seriously don't know if I will ever get enough!!

The only thing I can think to say is I NEED MORE!! I need more Gorgina, with her smart, sassy no take crap from anyone attitude and I for sure need more Reed with his sexy, cocky, I always get what I want mindset. I feel like I just run a marathon at full speed but the finish line is still off in the distance with Bad Liar and can’t wait to see what is in the future Georgina and Reed.

Loved it

PHEWWW!!! Three words... yes, yes, yes!
This book is fire guys 🔥🔥
Let me start off with saying the banter between the two main characters is so on point. This book was witty, funny, sexy, just EVERYTHING! & the story line was just phenomenal. The chemistry between these two, no fricken words💣

Georgie is so so sassy she is the perfect heroine, a breath of fresh air! There were moments where I literally laughed out loud & got funny looks from people because I was reading in public, I just couldn’t put it down.

My only regret is reading this so fast because now I need the next two books like yesterday!!! Gimmie gimmie gimmie! So so good
