A laugh out loud single dad romantic comedy. A portion of release month proceeds will be donated to charity.

He thinks he's so perfect with his model behavior . . . and he just might be.

Reading and reviewing books is my hobby. Rescuing wildlife is my passion. It never occurred to me that both my hobby and passion would collide in the strangest of ways one day.

I was perfectly content in my quiet little world. Working, reading, and supporting my favorite authors left little time for dating or a relationship. Besides, when you take the horizontal mambo off the table, you sort of limit your prospects.

Then one night, Matthew Roberts in all his cover model glory blew into my life and swept me off my feet.

~

Life as a single dad is not for the weak. Especially when your daughter is a spunky six-year-old with a passion for singing and a weakness for baby animals. I've been strictly focused on being her dad and smiling for the camera to provide for her future. Having my abs splashed on the cover of romance novels hasn't left much time for a personal life. Much to my mother's dismay.

When a storm dropped--literally--a wild animal into my life, I knew there was one person who could help us--Carrie Myers. I just never expected her to save not only the small squirrel but to also find her way into my heart.

Sometimes the most unlikely person can be your greatest gift.

My daughter wanted to listen to this book in the car on a road trip. I forgot how dang funny it is. And the narrators... they're just perfection!

This was a great read. Matthew is a romance book cover model. Carrie is a romance book blogger.
Matthew is a single dad. Carrie is a relationship-phobe with a no sex rule. She also believes rumors about Matthew so that when they meet at a book signing her opinion of his isn't to high.

Back in the real world, Matthew works as a financial adviser, cares for his adorable daughter,Calypso and has a sweet relationship with his parents, especially with his mom. Carrie works at an animal rescue. She is away from family and has a few friends but seemed a loner to me. Lives with her narcoleptic rescue squirrel, Luke.

When they lose their dog, Olaf, they run into Carrie at the rescue. A dinner invite by his daughter has Matthew and Carrie throw together. Slowly they two begin to see the other for the depth of goodness both. Matthew maybe a little faster than her.

This book is full or laughs and giggles. The bond between Carrie and Matthew and Carrie and Calypso is built so that you feel it. I really enjoyed this read.

If I had to use one word to describe Model Behavior it would be anticipation. This book was a page turner from the start. I devoured it with an eagerness that I haven’t had for a book in a while. M. E. Carter and Andrea Johnston wrote beautifully together, developing a story line that flowed well with outstanding characters.

This book was everything I look for in a book. The sweet sassiness of Matthew and Carrie’s relationship had me smiling. Sprite was adorable! Her interactions with her father and Carrie with fill your heart with joy. I was even chuckling at Matthew and his Mother.

But along with the humor in this book you will find a heart full of happiness that will leave you with an all over feeling of contentment. I will be highly recommending this book. 5 Stars #2OCCMS

Model Behavior is exactly what I have come to expect from M.E. Carter and Andrea Johnston with their Charitable Endeavors series! This two authors who write great separately, are exceptional as a duo, it's impossible to know who wrote what within this series.

Model Behavior, like the rest of the books in the series is set within the book world, but more on the periphery. The meet cute was at a book signing, but otherwise was set in the real world. The couple is a book blogger like myself and a cover model, not like myself lol.

I really enjoyed seeing Carrie and Matthew get passed the perceptions and assumptions they'd had of each other from past experiences and gossip, because we all know that can be a huge obstacle to get around. Model Behavior is a slow burning romance and I know people hate the word, but it's also a clean romance. I personally need that in my romance novels occasionally, so that was a nice breath of fresh air for me.

I'm a sucker for a sexy single dad and the balance of humor and angst that brings to the table and this one undoubtedly hit the mark on that scale. Model Behavior is a funny and charming romance that will have you smiling ear to ear throughout the story and one book you don't want to over look.

Just loved this book for the simple fact that heroine stayed true to her celibacy rule even with the hero. Most times heroine’s blow off any of their rules for the hero.

So I’m the thankful the author had the heroine keep true to herself.

First off, I love both these authors and that they write this series with the thought of donating to charities. Big hearts!

This whole series is fun in that it gives us a peek behind the scenes in different aspects of the book world. This installment in the series was more sweet & fun than angsty or steamy. But you don't miss it. The characters are interesting and real, the writing is amazing, as always, and you still get the emotions thrown in there.

I love a single dad book, so this one had me with that. I loved Matthew & Carrie and their relationship fumbles.

But Calypso aka Sprite stole the show for me! She was sassy & fun!!

What a lovely (and funny!) story!

I loved every aspect of this book: I adored the characters, both Carrie and Matthew, as well as Sprite and the rest of Matthew's family, Carrie's friends Jamie and Celeste - and last but not least the furry critters who added their own quirky charm. The story was sweet, funny and well-written, and it provided an entertaining glimpse behind the scenes of "Romancelandia".

This is the first book I've read by M.E. Carter and / or Andrea Johnston, but it sure won't be the last - at least the other two books in the series are already on my TBR, and I'm sure they will be joined by many more...

4.5 Another great read in this series. I’ve enjoyed every one dearly. This was no exception. Closed door slow burn with low angst and a lot of sweetness. Matthew is so sweet.
The setup of the story is lovely. Does make me wonder if it was inspired by any particular couples. While I do know of one set of book model author couple I’m not well versed enough in blogger world to know if there are any book model blogger couples.
I enjoyed the behind the scenes of the publishing world this once again with yet another perspective.
I’ve been waiting for this book for pretty much all year and I’ve got another near 11 months until book 4. I can’t wait. :)

This story will have you laughing one minute and swooning the next. Love the uniqueness of this story and how Matthew and Carrie have this connection that’s easy going and what many strive for. Calypso has me in stitches and Luke is such an awesome pet that I may have asked my husband for one. This is one you definitely do not want to miss out on reading.

Love

The chemistry, tension, and friendship between Matthew and Carrie made this story both sweet and spicy. I loved Carrie's quirkiness and Sprite's lack of filter. I agree with Carrie when it comes to seeing what narrators look like!

Carrie and Matthew are adorable!

I love the collaborations ME Carter and Andrea Johnston do and Model Behavior is a wonderful story.

I'm not much into single dad tropes, but I really enjoyed this story and how great of a dad Matthew is. Calypso it's one lucky six year old. C

I loved how the differences these characters had made them more perfect for each other and how they actually made them more alike.

Each story can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading them all in order.

Adorable

What’s not to love about this book. Two of my favorite authors. It’s about the book world. I’ve really loved this series because it involves the book world. Matthew and Carrie’s journey is adorable. First off he’s a single Dad, swoon! Seeing a Dad with their kiddo is sexy. Carrie is fun. I loved her caring for animals. Perfect combo on this book of sweet, swoon and humor.

Carrie and Matthew’s story was great. Matthew was an amazing single dad who always put his daughter first. Carrie was an interesting character and it was amazing how well they became a family.

Model Behavior is the 3rd book in the Charitable Endeavors series from Andrea Johnston and M. E. Carter. Each book in the series is a stand-alone, but you definitely get so much more out of the series if you read them in order. As an avid reader and book blogger, I love how this series is firmly rooted within the book community and how each book spins a tale around a specific aspect or role within it.

Though I will always have a soft spot for Switch Stance (Book #1 of the series), Model Behavior comes in as a close second to my favorite of the series. MB places emphasis on the fact that all members within the bookish community have lives outside of the community. Authors may have day jobs; models may be parents; bloggers may have other interests and hobbies. MB illustrates how within this bookish community, though we share similar interests, we all have our quirks, or those elements that make us unique...and we cannot be pigeonholed into a single label or box. In addition, we cannot make assumptions about a person based on outward appearance, rumors, or the actions of others within a specific "label."

In many ways, I found both characters easy to relate to. Carrie, a book blogger, and Matthew, a cover model, have crossed paths a few times at various signings and book events, but a chance encounter has them forming an unlikely friendship outside the bookish world. Carrie has so many ideas about who Matthew is, and it is fun watching him smash all of her stereotypical assumptions about him. He may look good on the cover of a book, but in the real world, he is just a single dad trying to give his child the best life possible. I enjoyed the easy banter between these two and watching them each learn to open up a bit more.

This is a fairly angst-free, sweet, fade-to-black read, and it was exactly what I needed after a stressful holiday season. If you are looking for a book that will make you laugh, swoon, and keep you turning the pages - then look no further!

I totally love M.E. Carter and Andrea Johnston's Charitable Endeavors books. They bring the book world to life for readers and the stories, while not totally interconnected kind of are, if that makes any sense.

This book was sweet...like Hallmark/Lifetime movie sweet. No really it is!

I loved Carrie and Matthew so much and as they became friends and then more than friends (that didn't have benefits, because ...of some notion of celibacy Carrie has) you really fall for them. You also for Calypso, Matthew's daughter and the dog Olaf and all the squirrels.

About the only thing that I wasn't fond of was Carrie's book blog profession. Most of us, are just typical average women who just enjoy sharing our feelings about our favorite books. Sure there are people out there making money off of reviewing, but that's not most of us.

I was more tickled by Carrie's job with animal rescue.

Probably the sweetest thing was the interaction between Carrie and Calypso. Its hard to imagine a never married girl taking to a young child so easily, but really this book goes down Harlequin romance territory here. Of course, what little girl isn't going to fall madly in love with a lady that rescues baby squirrels?

So if you are prepared for a book that's full of giggles and feels, because Carrie's life is full overthinking and well hilarity.

Here are some of my favorite quotes

"Of course, this morning when she put her shoes on the wrong feet and attempted to make her way out of the house without changing them, I wondered for a brief moment if college was a pipe dream."

"What a coincidence. He has washboard abs. I have a washboard forehead. It's a match made in Maytag heaven."

"At twenty-two you've been through college and can drink and stuff. At eighteen you're just..not even really adulting yet."

Model Behavior is a sweet book with a quirky female lead that has some very relatable qualities. The single father aspect of the book was adorable, and while I feel as if the book was missing a little angst and conflict, it was still an overall good read.

I feel like this is the kind of book that you can read quickly, flying through the pages knowing that you're going to come out on the other side with your heart still in tact. It's almost like watching a hallmark movie. Maybe it's a tad bit predictable. Maybe the conflict doesn't actually feel much like conflict at all. But nonetheless it's entertaining for what it is. So while I did contemplate giving it 3 stars, 4 stars seemed more appropriate given the fact that I finished this book with a smile on my face.

As an animal lover I loved the Wildlife Rescue parts in the book. It gave our heroine a little extra quirk, and made the story a little extra fun. And our leading man is the kind of fictional character that you wish existed in real life. He was soft hearted, honest and romantic. For a man that is supposed to look extremely masculine on the outside, reading from his perspective just made him seem kind of like a teddy bear. I would love nothing more than to snuggle the man for a few hours. So while he isn't exactly my "type" (I like my men a little more mysterious), he was still pretty adorable to read about.

So overall I enjoyed this book. It is a simple read with some pretty cute characters that I think will stick with me for a little while. So if you're looking for a quick read with little to no drama, then I'd recommend giving this one a chance. It won't be life changing, but it will make you wonder if men like Matthew really do exist. And if so, do they give free hugs?

Model Behavior is the third book in the Charitable Endeavors series by this author duo, and they have more planned. They can each be read as a complete standalone, but I love how they are also a little connected. All the books in this series involve the book community, and I think that's the most fun aspect of these stories. Seeing a little "behind the scenes" of their lives.

In Model Behavior, we have Matthew, a sexy cover model and single father, who is honestly just doing his best to give his daughter a well-rounded life, until a chaotic moment brings them to Carrie, a book blogger and wildlife rescuer. The sparks do not instantly fly with these two, the slow burn builds so well though to an amazing friendship and relationship. Carrie is so good with Matthew's daughter, and those were honestly some of my favorite scenes in the book. She has so much passion for helping others, but is so awkward sometimes that she's endearing. Matthew is just solidified in who he is, and how he lives his life. It was fun to see him open up a little bit, and not just be the sexy guy everyone saw on social media, but the vulnerable man who let himself fall in love, probably for the first real time.

This story touched my heart a little bit, and I didn't even mind that it was much more sweet than angst. It was a wonderful story of compassion, emotion, and letting yourself really fall in love with the right person.

This book is a book bloggers fantasy come true. Book blogger and cover model fall for each other. Hello...yes! I love every minute of this story. Carrie is a book blogger that is very serious about love and has her rules. Matthew is a single father who doesn't usually have time for romance while raising his young daughter. First impressions of each other are totally wrong. They connect because of Matthew's daughter's love of animals and Carrie's need to help them. Soon a friendship blossoms and feelings can't help unfolding too. Then in true romantic comedy fashion misunderstanding happen and now they have to fix it with the truth, that includes their feelings. The characters had me cracking up. Especially Mathew's daughter. This story also had my heart so full. So many moments I was saying "AWE!" out loud. But I will warn you that you will look like a crazy person listening cause there is no way you won't be able to not laugh out loud. I will admit that I am bummed that Carrie's blog isn't real. I want to read it! These narrators do a great job bringing these characters to life. This is a must read/listen for romance fans. And really anyone who loves a well told story with moments that everyone can connect to.

If you are looking for a funny read with all the feels look no further than Model Behavior book 3 in the Charitable Endeavors Series. This book has everything you want in a romantic comedy and so much more, it has characters you will fall in love with, it has laugh out loud moments, it will have you swooning and let’s not forget Matthew Roberts is a single dad with an adorable little girl who loves to sing and loves baby animals. Let’s not forget the heroine in this story who has a most unique pet in the form of a rescued squirrel called Luke and I think from that you should be realising just how unique this book is. I loved everything about this funny, loveable entertaining read and I’m certainly going to be looking at the previous books in this series. These two authors write so well together in fact I’m not sure who wrote what and that for me is a sign of how very talented they both are. If this book isn’t on your radar it should be, it’s a must read so I’m urging you to one click and join the fun.
