5 Bold stars, if I'd have option for more I'd give it all!
This book is phenomenal!!!
Honestly I don't have words to describe about the book... It's just perfect!
It's a tale of three people, Noor-ul-huda, Maliha and Wajdaan! (I don't wanna give any other info, coz I want people to dive into this because as it is w/o any other info)

The Writing is BEAUTIFUL! The dialogues are simple yet tugs the heart strings so badly, ohmy, I was on the verge of crying many times while reading this. (I can't believe it's her first novel, and also amazed that how come I haven't heard about her before inspite of reading so much Urdu fix, anyways, der aaye durust aaye, Imma search about other novels of hers too) edit: am here after searching for other books, but sadly, very sadly, there's no other book written by her, it's her first and last as of now!

The storytelling is almost perfect (there's only one track in the story which I thought wasn't needed much) apart from that the flow, the speed, the mystery, all on point.

The topics which writer raised in the topics were so subtly raised, with so much sensitivity, it never felt an extra info! (Really Appreciate the writer there, coz many authors esp in Urdu can't do it this easily/subtly)

Another thing which I really loved was the realistic(ness) of the story, of characters and their dialogues, never even once I felt it's over the top or unrealistic novel type dialogue happening among characters, it was done so right!

What else... I loved everything about this book period. And if you haven't read it yet. GOOOO AND READ IT! You've such a nice treat ahead of you, I wish I can forget it and read it again! Anyways, you get the point how much I loved this one! Go read now!

🛑
Spoiler PLEASE DON'T READ THIS BEFORE READING THE BOOK... I'm writing this here coz I wanna remember how much I loved this part of book.

I really really loved the scenes between wajdaan and Noor-ul-huda, right from beginning when they were pretty small, like when he comes on stage and scream haadi Bhai me aap se yeh nhi kahuga ke use khush rakhna kyu ki me jaanta hu ke aap use sab se zyada khush rakhoge! (Me waari jao iss scene par 😌) in this age ,where lovers loose their temper when they see a rival in their love, this man knows that he loves him genuinely and he's screaming on top of his lungs saying congrats to him, take a bow author, I'm impressed, totally!💝)
And then when they meet after all those years, where both of them want apology from each one of them, how much respect and love they had for each other coz they knew their lover was in love with the other person. How wajdaan remembered her last dialogues about haadi, and has no negative emotions about him, coz woh uski mohabbat ki mohabbat tha) this is what love is, this is what I always searched in books. Love is about giving, totally!
So yeah I really loved that scene, I stopped while reading that scene and thought, wait, these two men, both who loved one girl so deeply, and here they are hugging each other, last where have I ever seen this kind of relationship? Woahh! I think I'll take pretty good amount of time from getting out of this book. Pheww, enough for now, otherwise I can keep going on and one.
Okay but last thing, there sooo many memorable dialogues, but this one which was so simple and the way and moment in which it was said, I loved it. It's my favourite dialogue out of whole book " Ab toh mujhe tang karna chodo, dekho meri dulhan bhi Hans rahi hai mujh pe" 🥺🥺🥺🥺 (After reading the dialogue, le me to author: "teri le le balaye, tere sadqe utare)
Goodness, I've never written a review this emotionally, lol, I've just written whatever came in my mind, without editing or re-reading anything, but I don't regret it either! (So thanks if you read it till here, my emotional review, ❤️😭) and if you've read the book, I'd love to know your thoughts, discuss it with you.

Ishq Atish is a book that captures one's interest from the beginning to the end. It beautifully describes the philosophy of life. The book sketches the father-daughter relationship. How Maliha loses her life obeying her father against her love for Wajdan. Then, NoorulHuda and Wujdan develop close relationships with their children as parents. The novel portrays men's nature of losing hope when he didn't get what he has asked for. Besides love and sacrifice, Sadia Rajput has incorporated other various topics like schizophrenia, society's attitude towards abandoned children, sorrows of past life, repentance, and forgiveness.
This book is recommended to anyone who wants to experience all the emotions that our four main characters (Maliha, Wujdan, Noorulhuda, and Baba Jann) go through.

Ishq Atash is a book that didn't capture my attention. Firstly, when I read it there comes a reading slump so I leave it and pick it up after many months and yeah finally it captures my attention. It beautifully describes the philosophy of life. The book depicts the father-daughter relationship. How Maleeha loses her life by obeying her father against the love of conscience. After that, Nurul Huda and Wajdan developed a close relationship with their children as parents. The novel portrays the nature of men losing hope when he doesn't get what he asked for.Apart from love and sacrifice, Sadia Rajput covers various themes like schizophrenia, society's attitude towards abandoned children, grief of conscience, Noor ul huda and Baba Jaan.

'Right person wrong time' meets 'Not everyone gets a happy ending'
First things first, I could relate so much to character of maleeha and the way author worded out emotions... It had me crying. Overall, it was a good read where you get to see and understand things from different POVs. I know you can sense a but coming. So yes, BUT I think first half was significantly a lot better than second half. Some parts were relatable but storyline became more and more unrealistic. I wanted to connect- yes but well I couldn't. Storyline was written in two different timelines which is amazing honestly. The thing is this book wouldn't be a part of my trophy shelf so yes I won't recommend it quite much either.

This is a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐.75 for me.
This book is too good. The writing style is so engaging and the plot is also amazing. It beautifully written. I will never forget the characters Maleeha and wajdan. They have become beloved to me as they were to each other.❤️

Read it if you want a good cry.
Though the book is heart wrenching but I am still satisfied and glad that I picked it. Author penned down the emotions and characters perfectly.
Love it.

I've read an Urdu novel after ages and it didn't disappoint me at all.
A nice story for sure. Realistic portrayal of "Man of the House", Azher Farooqi whose egoisitic decisions just devastate everyone. At every page I murmured, "Ahh shall we not deal with our life traumas but that of fictional characters that are even more traumatizing ." Loved it!!!!!

Realistic. We are incomplete without having our own Pakistani literature. The novel represents the story of people belong to elite class. The characters are humanely. Love is more about giving.

Ishq aatish By Sadia Rajpoot

It's hard to believe that this was the first written piece of Sadia rajpoot. So beautifully she has written it. They way dialogues and character justify their part is commendable. If you want to read something that has drama, love and purity you can just go for it. Both main leads were too good. This one is going to make you cry definitely. The moment of revelation when Tania read the diary of the girl who was mystery for her will give you shock. And I remember after that I have read each and every page crying. The love and passion shown here is just remarkable. " Some people die but they remain alive in our hearts."

It was a GOOD book! I thoroughly enjoyed myself! It had such a tight grip on me that I was totally hooked until I finished it. It had love, passion, sacrifice , friendship , judai ; basically the whole package. This have the potential to turn into very good drama👀

I LOVED it but still it doesn’t worth more than 3 stars. The major factor was, how far fetched it is. I do not believe in “love at first sight” theory, and here we are talking about the “toot ke chahat” and the inteha of love that wajdan had for Maliha was unbelievable when you don’t even know the girl yet. And when we come to maliha’s pov, her love for haadi was totally justifiable and they had that spark from the very first scene.and I absolutely loved their relationship. but with wajdan? Bro recited a pretty poem (that wasnt his original either) and our girl melted? Like, COME ON! Their love for each other is the foundation of this entire novel, it should have been more impact full.
This is the main reason why I wasn’t really emotionally connected to it and did not cry or felt sad while reading any scene! And I was supposed to feel that way! I was like - “acha mar gai? Oh fir aage…” “oh bechara pagal ho gaya? Ab aage….”
The only scene that I felt was fanatic and I LOVE LOVE LOVED it was the entire shadi sequence; from wajdan’s accident to him leaving the house.

Geniunly could not finish this book. It is way too unrealistic for me. The plot has sooo much potential, but little to no decent execution. Maleeha and wajdans' story could have been developed a lot more for an intriguing story.

Personally, not a big fan of 'love at first sight' but still went into this book thinking that it may change my view. Did it? Nope - in fact validated my dislike, intensifying it even more. I cannot wrap my head around how someone "falls in love" with a human they only saw from afar. Fine, even if you did start falling for them... the fact that you go mentally unstable at the thought of losing them. Yeah... no. That's way too unrealistic for my liking. I'm all for fictional men going above and beyond for their partners (keyword: Partner), not some random girl on the street who doesn't even know their name. Wajdan didn't even know her!! Uff. The story would have excelled if Maleeha and Wajdan started falling in love slowly and then parted. It was more like a rapid fire Q&A.

On the other hand, Maleeha and Nur ul Hudas story was wholesome and cute. If his screws loosened from their parting , it would be heartbreaking and VALID!

It was my first book by Sadia Rajpoot, and ‘Ishq-e-Atish’ truly brought me to tears. The book starts 27 years after that Specific incident, revealed through the Maleeha’s diary. We learn how she met Wajdaan and Noor-ul-Huda, and why her father kept her distant, which is later explained through Abba G's POV. The story is truly heartbreaking 💔
The start was good, and the characters were great, but Wajdaan's proposal to Maleeha felt too rushed 🤷🏻‍♀️By the third part of the book, things became a bit cringe, especially with Wajdaan's behavior after a certain incident (no spoilers) The part where Wajdaan found Shayan was fine, but the cringe moments only intensified afterward. IYKWIM🥹
✨Life moves on, even when someone leaves. Noor-ul-Huda didn’t repeat his father’s mistakes and accepted things as they were. Both he and Wajdaan were great fathers, putting their children’s happiness first. And I appreciate this✨
I definitely recommend it if you want to cry like Noor-ul-Huda (jinka chehra 27 saal se bheeg rha hai) 😭😭😭

I really really enjoyed reading thi evevrthing about tha book and tha character was amazing. I am on Wajdans team as he forget himself for Maliha while on the other hand Noor Ul huda remarried and things were going all over the place with his marriage at first for Baba jaan I really want to say that he jelust wanted good for his daughter yes he should not have rejected Maliha's request but after that he was just trying to correct his mistake but it was too late other then that it was amazing and yeah Wajdan's brother's wife I really hate her for what she did🙄🙄 but yeah it is a great novel I hope I can find some more with such pure writing style and not much physical interaction between the main roles like the loved each other with their whole heart but never crossed the line of Islam and their religion. Huge applause for the writer.😁❤👏👏👏👏

One of the best book I ever read. The way she described love really scared me to never fall in love.
The story revolves around 4 main characters: Wajdan Mustafa, Maleeha Farooqi, Noor-ul-Huda and Baba Jaan. The four of them loved each other but fate couldn't wait for them. The way their love destroyed all of them keep me awake at nights.
When was it when we heard that one respects their lover's choice? Well, Noor-ul-Huda did.
When was it we heard that one is ready to accept their lover's partner? Wajdan is our boy.
And Maleeha? What to say about her? She is an emotion. The little ifs and buts in their life ruined them all. Oh my, I'll never be able to recover from Ishq Aatish, it's holds love in it's purest form.
For anyone who's looking for a good cry, this is the best choice.

So this is an emotional rollercoaster. Bhai yaar kafi ro liye. The dialogue writing is just fabulous. Me umere guzar aya maliha me khudko haar aya haeeee. I love all the characters especially Wajdaan well all ishq atish readers love's wajdaan but i also love nurulhuda(hadibhai) character also. The dialogue for nurulhuda in the first half is too good- ek tum jo nai ho lagta he kuch bi nai he. It's worth reading not one but many times. It's a best of best

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

100% if you are in for heavy angst and ugly cry

The was a lill fast paced at the start rightfully so but the point the real angst starts it was ridiculously good the detailing was on point and i cried my heart out while reading it. Would have given it 5 stars but when it gets towards the ending it gets a lil off for me (other people might like it).
