Evergreen, Vermont is about to be in the rearview mirror of Allie Shaw’s vintage red pickup truck. It’s hard to say goodbye to her small town and her veterinarian practice, but she’s moving to Washington D.C., where her big-city-loving boyfriend lives.
Ever since Ryan Bellamy’s wife died, he hardly knows how to celebrate Christmas. He’s decided to take his daughter Zoe to Florida, and Evergreen is just a quick stop on the way to the airport. While they’re there, Zoe partakes in a local tradition, making a Christmas wish on the snow globe at the town diner.
But neither Allie’s nor Ryan’s Christmas goes as planned. They’ve checked their wish lists twice, and they didn’t say anything about meeting someone new…or about a fresh chance at love.
This magical, feel-good romance includes a free Hallmark recipe for Vermont Christmas Card Cookies.

Allie Shaw is the town Veterinarian who is planning to leave Evergreen, Vermont and moving to Washington DC for a new experience. She also plans to see if her on again/off again relationship with Spencer is something she wants to pursue. The closer the time comes for this move to happen, the more Allie has second thoughts, especially about spending Christmas somewhere else besides Evergreen. As she says good-bye to her parents at the Chris Kringle Kitchen whey own, she gives the magic snow globe a shake. It is said that it will grant the wish if it is truly your heart's desire. As the story progresses, Allie crosses paths several times with widower Ryan Bellamy, a physician, and his young daughter Zoe. There is an unmistakable connection from the start, but as they are both leaving, the unexpected ways that they continue to meet one another is so unpredictable, you do not know where they will end up.
When I requested this novel, I did not realize it was based on a Hallmark movie, but because I love Nancy Naigle's Christmas stories. Even though I had seen the movie last Christmas, I still enjoyed the book. Christmas romance is one of the things I love about the season and this book did not disappoint. The story is full of wonder, magic, friendships, small town delights, children, festivals, Christmas and romance. With each of the main characters making their separate wishes on the snow globe, the mesh of their wishes shows the wisdom of fate and that the heart often understands what one needs well before the mind catches up. The appearance of Nick (St. Nick?) adds some of that whimsy needed in these stories. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to watching the movie again this Christmas.I rated this book 4.5 stars, but rounded it up to five. I recommend this book to anyone who loves magical Christmas stories, romance or small town stories with happy endings. Hallmark Publishing generously provided me with a copy of this book.
4.5 STARS | FLUFFY and an absolutely ADORABLE Christmas book, which is based on Hallmark Channel movie! I have not yet seen the movie, but read the book first, and found it cute and fast-paced! You will absolutely love the characters and town Evergreen too! Allie Shaw is having a hard time saying goodbye to her small town in Vermont and her veterinarian practice, as she’s moving to Washington D.C. to spend the holidays with her boyfriend. Ever since Ryan Bellamy’s wife passed away, he hardly knows how to celebrate Christmas. He’s decided to take his daughter, Zoe, to Florida, and Evergreen is a quick stop on their way to the airport. While they’re there, Zoe partakes in a local tradition in making a Christmas wish on the snow globe at the town diner. But neither Allie’s nor Ryan’s Christmas goes as planned. They’ve checked their wish lists twice, and they didn’t say anything about meeting someone new, or about a fresh chance at love! A magical and heartwarming Hallmark romance that you will LOVE!
11/21/2021 - Sweeter than a Christmas sugar cookie! I didn’t see the movie this was based on, but I knew this was a novelization of a Hallmark made-for-TV film. While the beginning was a little slow and Allie’s internal musings were slightly repetitive, I still enjoyed this holiday story. Several of my favorite tropes: single dad, cute kid, forced proximity, small town…and some Christmas wishes coming true.
I really enjoyed Kathleen McInerney’s performance. She has the perfect voice for this charming town and all its residents.
Just like in the movie, I hated Spencer. Okay.. maybe hate is a strong word but oh my goodness. He annoyed the crap out of me. DC this. DC that. I live near DC and I don't even talk about it. It didn't even seem that he was that excited for his girlfriend, Allie, to move closer to him. Yeah, he said it.. but I didn't feel it.
Other than that, I adored Allie, Ryan, and Zoe. Call it fate, Christmas magic, or a wish on a very special snow globe. I fell in love with this adorable town and everyone within it. Plus it was really cute how easily these three formed a connection. Ryan and Zoe are on their way to Florida. Zoe, like any other child out there, doesn't want a sunny and warm Christmas. No, she wants all the snow her heart desires.
Of course, sparks fly and assumptions are made left and right. If you didn't think drama was going to happen, it did but it was madly predictable. Mostly because I've seen the movie. It was still cute to dive into the book and now I need to dive into more Chirstmas-y books! Also, I want to bake cookies now..
Christmas In Evergreen is a warm and lovely story that occurs right before Christmas. Dr. Allie Shaw loves Christmas and has organized a festival in her hometown of Evergreen, Vermont since she graduated from college. But this year is different. She and her former boyfriend tried a long distance relationship between Evergreen and Washington, DC for a while only to end it. Spencer has convinced Allie to close down her Veterinarian practice and move to DC to give it another try. She is planning to spend the holidays in DC and then move there after Christmas. Dr. Ryan Bellamy and his daughter are passing through Evergreen on the way to catch a plane at the Burlington airport heading to Florida and a cruise. Ryan's wife died just before Christmas last year and he wants to give Zoe a different experience this year. While in Evergreen they meet Allie when her old pick up truck won't start as they walk by and strike up a conversation. The next day they meet up again at the Burlington airport. When a snowstorm hits the area, all flights are grounded. When there is not a place to stay, Allie invites Ryan and Zoe back to Evergreen where a new inn is opening soon. Allie, Ryan and Zoe form a friendship in a short amount of time as Allie entertains them and shows them around town, where everything is Christmas-themed. They got to see Allie deliver a calf that arrives early and they then throw their efforts into helping with the Christmas festival. As Allie shows them Evergreen, she realizes that she doesn't want to leave home. When Spencer shows up unexpectedly, Allie sees him as someone different from herself, especially next to Ryan. This is a sweet story of people going in different directions so there is no way that they can mesh their lives. Right? The Christmas spirit adds a special touch to this heartwarming story especially with a snow globe in Allie's parents' cafe where one can make a wish after shaking the globe. I can see why it has been made into a Hallmark movie. It is easy to imagine. Thanks to Hallmark Publishing through NetGalley for a complimentary ARC of the book. Thoughts and opinions stated are mine only.
Ever since I read The Shell Collector by this author I've wanted to read more of her work and what better place to start then with one of her many Christmas novels?
Christmas in Evergreen is a novelization of a Hallmark movie (which I haven't seen) so you get the small town charm and a few quirky characters that come along with that. As well as some Christmas magic! And a sweet romance. All combined with the kind of holiday flare that will have you humming Jingle Bells the rest of the month. :-)
Now, for those who are love triangle gun-shy like me, fear not, I bring tidings of great joy -- this is NOT that plot! I can't say more without spoiling some of the story, but it's handled very well and barely a ripple in the grand scheme of things. I was more alarmed about Allie leaving this charming town for the city! What was she thinking? How could she bring herself to go? Luckily fate transpires against her and we have a deliciously warm and inviting festive story.
Absolutely adore young Zoe and her enthusiasm for all things Christmas -- especially if it's happening in Evergreen. And this story is piled high with the best kinds of holiday traditions and activities. If it wasn't so atrociously hot out I'd try my hand at making those Vermont Christmas Card Cookies. (the perils of jumping on the Christmas in July bandwagon!)
I listened to the audible edition of Christmas in Evergreen, beautifully narrated by Kathleen McInerney. Her performance increased my 'reading' pleasure that much more!
guys that was SO cheesy but i expected it bc this is the novel adaptation of a hallmark movie anyway so cute little vermont christmas romance i loved it and read it in literally one sitting (3.5 ⭐️)
I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I love Christmas and everything involved. Cookies, christmas trees, stockings, and of course...the mandatory Hallmark Christmas movies. This little gem is a sure fire way of getting you into the holiday spirit no matter what time of year it is.
Allie is leaving Evergreen for the best. At least that's what she keeps telling herself. Moving to DC where he lost distance boyfriend is to start a new job seems like a perfect way to kick off the holidays. So...why is something always drawing her back to Evergreen and the town that loves Christmas?
All Ryan wants is for his daughter to have a very merry Christmas. After losing his wife and Zoe losing her mother, Ryan plans on staying as far away from the snow as possible. That's why he's planned on a cruise in Florida. Just what he and Zoe need. But when a small detour to Evergreen turns into an extended stay, Ryan and Zoe are bombarded with the Christmas spirit...and a lovely lady to go with it.
This was a such a good little read. Appropriate for all ages I highly recommend this if you-like me- love everything Hallmark. And don't forget to check out the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, "Christmas In Evergreen." I am sure you will love it.
I am a huge Hallmark movie fan and now I am proud to say that I am a huge fan of their new books which are just as charming as the movies.
I'm a bit opposite when it comes to reading and movies. I like my books a bit on the darker side and my movies lighter. I binge on the Hallmark Channel several times a year. There's the Valentine's Day season, June Wedding season, Christmas in July season, Fall Season, and the Christmas season. It's pretty much all year but you get my point.
This book is based on one of the Hallmark Christmas movies. I haven't seen the movie yet but this book really makes me want to. It's everything that is swoony and romantic that I love in the lighter stuff.
This is the first time I've ever read a book that was a movie on the Hallmark Channel. After this I think I might have to do it more often. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see the movie now.
3.5 stars. First let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE watching Hallmark Christmas movies. But I’m not so sure I love READING them. It was definitely a cute book and I do look forward to seeing the movie, I already have my DVR set to record it. I just found myself speed reading this one to be done...it’s not that it wasn’t good...I just think for these types of stories I prefer to watch it in a movie.
This book was really very entertaining. It is the first book I've read by Nancy Naigle. This book was well-written and well-paced. In my opinion, this book is very well worth the time to read. If you enjoy Hallmark "happily ever after" type books, you will probably appreciate this one, too.
"Only wishes your heart truly wanted even had a chance of being granted." Small towns and Christmastime always create such a heartwarming atmosphere, and if you add Nancy Naigle as a storyteller, the result is a beautiful Christmas tale. I already read other books by this author and every time I love her ability to paint sweet and engaging stories. I enjoyed this adorable storyline and how the characters are described. Allie is trying to find herself and her place in the world embracing new possibilities far from her small town, Evergreen. Ryan hopes to create new traditions with her little girl, Zoe, or at least he wishes to walk far away from their family’s traditions, those which belongs to their life before her wife’s death. But as always, it doesn’t matter how many lists we do, the best part of a plan still remains to enjoy its changes… I was so happy to read this book that leaves the reader with a sense of optimism and happiness.
Thanks to the author and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Allie is moving to D.C. to begin a veterinarian practice there and be by her boyfriend. Ryan and his daughter Zoe are beginning a Florida vacation to try to have a different sort of Christmas this year, starting a new tradition since the death of his wife. But bad weather and airplane difficulties couple with some special Christmas magic, surprising all involved. Evergreen must be a special place. Those who live there discover they really don’t want to leave, and those who visit by chance find out they really want to stay. Romance is definitely in the air, though there are some difficulties ahead. The characters are likable, and the story is a sweet one, perfect for Christmas time.
Evergreen is a small town in Vermont where Christmas is very special. They have a Christmas Festival every year and Allie does all the planning for it. But this year she is going to be in Washington, D.C. with her boyfriend and looking for an apartment to rent. She has accepted a position as a pet Dr. in large corporation.
She will be leaving all her friends and family in Evergreen. Where she has lived all her life. She is a Vetand has
This was enjoyable for what it was. This is based off a lifetime movie(that I recorded to watch) and it felt like a cute Christmas movie. All of it was obviously not shocking. The one thing I didn’t like that is in all lifetime movies is that she’s literally moving for like no reason. I just really want to live in a small town essential during Christmas time.
Christmas in Evergreen is an adorable romance. I loved the plot, characters and setting. This author has a great writing style and I look forward to reading more of her books. Fans of romance should enjoy this book.
The lovely rendered cover made me try this audio. I'm sure this is a charming story, but it's too idyllic with sugary writing for me. I need to look elsewhere for my holiday cheer. 😏
I think this book based on a Hallmark Channel original movie needs no explanation! We all know how cute the plots are and how they all end! 😆 Alas, this story was no different. It was a beautiful, cute, fun, love-y, and festive story that I gobbled up via audiobook! I find some audiobooks to be worth the listen and some not - this one was definitely worth it!
I’m not a huge fan of romance books, but I like this author’s writing style and who can resist a feel-good Christmas romance story? The small New England town’s Christmas celebration made it even better for this time of year.
It didn’t take long to figure out how everything would work out in the end, but it was done in such a way that it wasn’t saccharine-sweet, which is a nice change of pace for a romance. I'll put the next in this series on my list to read at some future Christmas season.
Evergreen Vermont is a magical place where Christmas is enjoyed year round. Based on a Hallmark movie so you know the story is sweet and wonderful, this book is a happy fun read. Ryan and his daughter, Zoe are stranded at the airport when they run into Allie. With both their flights cancelled she invites them to her hometown of Evergreen. Ever since she shook the magical snow globe on the counter of her parents diner her plans to move to Washington face obstacle after obstacle. Ryan lost his wife last Christmas and is determined to make this a happy Christmas for Zoe. The whole town pitches in to make a Christmas dream come true. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
The perfect embodiment of a fun, contemporary Christmas romance!
In Northern Vermont – so far north that on clear days you might be able to see the North Pole – lies the magical town of Evergreen….
Nancy Naigle’s Christmas in Evergreen is the perfect embodiment of a fun, contemporary, sweet and clean Christmas romance. It’s just what I needed to read on a hot evening after a stressful day! It was written after the filming of the Hallmark movie with the same name, so fans of the heart-warming big-screen version can revisit the wonderful wish-I-were-there feeling whenever they want. I quickly fell in love with the setting: the cozy, quaint and friendly small town of Evergreen where they follow their own Evergreen Code of Christmas Conduct and its Christmas year-round.
As the story opens, we meet Allie, the small-town’s veterinarian, who is closing her practice to move to Washington, D.C. Her beloved grandfather had always told her that there was a big world out there. She took that to mean that he thought that she needed to leave Evergreen to find where she belongs. Allie doesn’t know anyone in Washington other than Spencer, a long-distance boyfriend who has pressured her to give their relationship a chance – by moving to be near him, leaving her home and family.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ryan Bellamy and his daughter, Zoe, are on their way to Florida to spend Christmas on a cruise. Ryan believes that he and Zoe need to completely change how they have previously celebrated the holiday so the two of them create fresh memories and neither are reminded of the sad loss of his wife and Zoe’s mother last Christmas.
On the way to the airport, the two stop in Evergreen, eat at Chris Kringle Kitchen, the local diner run by Allie’s parents, and meet Allie. A very special snow globe resides in the diner. Before the Bellamys continue on their way, Zoe and Ally each give the snow globe a shake and make a wish. What did they wish for? Does the snow globe possess special powers and, if so, will it contrive to make Zoe’s and Ally’s wishes come true?
I felt completely at home with the colorful chorus of supporting characters in Evergreen, including Ezra, the town’s mayor, who means well in an extremely annoying way; Nick, who bears a strong resemblance to Santa and appears at the most opportune times; and a cow, who is determined to give birth even though she’s not yet due.
I couldn’t help but chuckle as Allie’s truck, which she inherited from her grandpa, was in on the conspiracy to keep Ally and the Bellamys close. It was quite finicky and only cooperated when it served to further the relationship of Ryan and Allie.
Following please find a few of my favorite lines from Christmas in Evergreen:
“My grandpa used to say, ‘the heart knows what it wants even when the head doesn’t.’” --- She tossed. Turned. Tried to count sheep; in her head, she began examining and vaccinating them, which wasn’t helpful when trying to fall back asleep. --- “We’re not resuscitating a snowman, are we?” “Real funny, Doc.” She gave him a playful sideways glance. “Good, because I’m pretty sure defibrillators and melted snow are not a good mix.”
Christmas in Evergreen is a charming piece of Christmas enchantment with loads of laugh-out-loud moments. I’ve not seen the movie, but, I certainly need to after reading this book! Nancy’s writing is sublime. I honestly can’t imagine anyone else being chosen to write this book. LOL! I had meant to just read the introduction before bed and ended up inhaling the entire book as I couldn’t put it down. When you add in the snow and all the Christmas preparations from the making of the sugar cookies; to selecting the trees; and the plethora of holiday décor, and this delightful tale fulfilled all my dreams of a classic holiday read. By the way, this book comes with a recipe for some special Christmas cookies.
Christmas in Evergreen is the latest holiday offering from prolific author Nancy Naigle back with another delightful Christmas tale. Allie Shaw, DVM, is planning to leave her hometown of Evergreen, Vermont, for a lucrative offer with a veterinary firm in Washington DC where her on again/off again boyfriend Spencer lives. The closer the time comes for this move to happen, the more Allie second guesses her decision, at least subconsciously. As she is preparing to leave for a Christmas visit to DC, she nostalgically takes a turn at the rumored magic snow globe in her parents’ Chris Kringle Kitchen. It is said that it will grant the wish that your heart desires.
As Allie leaves the restaurant that day she encounters widower Ryan Bellamy, a physician, and his young daughter Zoe. There is an unmistakable connection from the beginning, but the ways in which their paths will intertwine are so unpredictable. Ryan and Zoe are merely passing through on their way to the airport in Burlington.
When again they meet in the airport and suffer the same fate as all flights are cancelled due to snowstorms, then in the hotel and restaurant, a pattern is established for their combined journeys. When they must vacate their hotel rooms, Allie offers a ride with her back to Evergreen since there is no available lodging in the area.
And from there the delight, magic, and even mystery of the story unfolds in a delightful holiday story of wonder and joy. With each of the main characters making their separate wishes on the snow globe, the mesh of their wishes shows the wisdom of fate and that the heart often understands what one needs well before the mind catches up.
As with Ms. Naigle’s other novels, particularly her holiday stories, this is a heartwarming tale that reflects the magic of Christmas and the purpose found in love. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I do recommend it!
I received this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I started reading this in the middle of possibly the hottest local heat spell on record so a book about snow and Christmas was the perfect antidote as I sat in my air conditioned living room to read. AS with all the Hallmark novels I have read, this one is a sweet clean romance and it comes with a recipe to tree out - this time for some special Christmas cookies.
Growing up I loved everything Christmas so I could identify with two of the main characters in this novel - Allie Shaw has always lived in Evergreen, a town where there is a presence of Christmas all year round. Zoe Bellamy lost her mother just before Christmas the previous year and her Dad is trying to give her a special but different Christmas that won't increase her grief. All 3 meet in Evergreen and eat at the local diner (owned by Allie's parents). There is a very special snow globe there which has a reputation of granting the wishes of those who really know what they want. Both Allie and Zoe give it a shake and before long the universe is conspiring to keep the threesome together. Allie had been planning a move to Washington DC to see whether a relationship with ex-boyfriend Spenser can be salvaged. Her flight keeps on getting cancelled and the more time she spends with Zoe and Ryan, the less she wants to leave Evergreen at all. Her grandfather had always told her that sometimes you need to leave to discover where you really want to be. Will this Christmas be Allie's best one ever? Will she decide where she really wants to be? Read on to find out and oh yes, stay cool!
In northern Vermont tucked away so far north that you can almost see the North Pole is Evergreen and Nancy Naigle takes us with her to Christmas in Evergreen. Evergreen is one of those magical towns that you dream about but just don’t think you will ever find. Evergreen is all decked out for Christmas (of course), has a ‘real’ Santa (you decide) and a magic globe. Allie is in the process of getting her veterinary office ready for her to move to DC to be with her long distance boyfriend, Spencer. Dragging her feet would be an understatement. Growing up knowing everyone and loving the town and people to go to a big city where she only knows Spencer and his high power friends is making Allie unsure. So when single, widowed dad, Ryan and his daughter, Zoey happen to get stranded in an airport during a snow storm with Allie of course Allie has to take them home to Evergreen. Zoey doesn’t want to go on a cruise for Christmas but since her dad is excited she lets him think she does to, until she gets to Evergreen! What lies ahead for Allie, Ryan, Zoey and Evergreen? Where does the snow globe and Santa fit in? Twists and turns are waiting for you in this wonderful book by Nancy Naigle called Christmas in Evergreen.
If you believe in the magic of Christmas, then Christmas in a Evergreen Vermont is where you need to go! Allie Shaw has grown up and lived her entire life in Evergreen. Everything she knows and loves is there including her veterinary practice., but she has decided to move to Washington DC to experience something new. Her boyfriend Spencer lives there and is really looking forward to Allie’s move. Ryan Bellamy and his daughter Zoe are going to Florida for Christmas but due to weather issues end up in Evergreen. The weather continually seems to change everyone’s direction and plans for Christmas. There is also a magic snow globe and a man named Nick that figures prominently too.
A wonderful well written story of hope, wishes and love. The characters and town will transport you to place you never want to leave. Nancy Naigle has masterfully written a story that will leave you wanting more and so happy that you took the time to visit Evergreen Vermont.
I love Christmas stories but this is clearly one of my favorites that I know I will read over and over again. Amazing story and characters you can’t help but fall in love with.
I’m not sure whether this book came first or the Hallmark movie, but it’s definitely loaded with lots of Hallmark Christmas movie holiday cheer. I set the movie up to record while reading the book.
Allie lives in the most perfect christmassy town named Evergreen. She’s a vet and loves her small town but feels like she hasn’t seen enough of the world to know where she’s supposed to be. She’s recently decided to give her boyfriend another shot and to make from a long distance relationship to living in the same town. She’s planning to visit him in DC for Christmas and move there after the holidays.
She has a number of crazy things prevent her from catching a flight.
Ryan is in a similar situation. He’s planning to take his daughter to Florida, it’s only their second Christmas since Zoe’s mom has died and he wants it to be totally different this year so it’s less sad. But they get pulled into Evergreen and all of the Christmas festivities. They also meet Allie.
Suddenly everyone is starting to question what they really want. Much cuteness follows.
I got to read an early ebook edition from NetGalley, I didn’t read it early because I saved it for this season.
I held off on watching the Hallmark movie version until I finished listening to this and I must say; this is certainly the kind story that Hallmark would showcase. It's cheesy, sappy, dripping with holiday cheer, and so PG that you could read this to a child. Evergreen is the kind of town you don't believe is real until you see it. Steeped with holiday traditions and small town charm; everyone knows and loves each other and the Christmas Festival is the highlight of every year. Allie runs a successful vet practice but she has decided to move out to DC to try her hand in the city and be with her ex boyfriend. Ryan is trying to have the best Christmas possible for his eight year old daughter since his wife has passed. He thinks a holiday cruise will solve their problems but on the way to the airport they stumble across Evergreen and his daughter is enchanted. Once they cross paths with Allie (who is also headed to the airport) all bets are off. Will this be a Christmas miracle or a Christmas nightmare. Cheesy, so predictable, and good fun. This has Hallmark stamped all over it!
Allie and Spencer or Allie, Ryan, and his daughter Zoe? Will Allie move to Washington or will she decide to stay in her hometown of Evergreen? Allie is in a difficult relationship with Spencer and on the verge of moving to DC to start a new Veterinary job there, Ryan and Zoe are travelling to Florida for a cruise, to try to escape the heartbreak of the Christmas season- due to the loss of Zoe's mom. I really enjoyed this heartwarming story! After many delays for their flights, due to the snowy weather- Allie, Zoe, and Ryan find themselves back in Evergreen and all 3 make a wish on the "magical" snow globe, that is in Allie's parents' restaurant. Allie opens her home to Ryan and Zoe, while they stay there. They start spending lots of time together and a relationship and friendship start to form and grows stronger between the 3 of them! The town of Evergreen loves the Christmas season! And this story brings you right to their town and you find yourself falling in love with the town and characters as well! Great story and great ending!
Lisa decides to visit her hometown, Evergreen in Vermont, where she lived as a child before moving to DC years later.
When she returns, Evergreen looks pretty much the same except Daisy’s Country Store which was once owned by a lady named Daisy but has since closed and has fallen into disrepair after she passed a year ago.
Ezra, the Mayor of Evergreen—and Daisy’s godson— is worried that if he doesn’t sell the store, the bank will repossess it.
Back in the city, she has a home staging business which she manages with her business partner, Oliver. Lisa offers to stage Daisy’s Country Store with the help of Kevin, a contractor who is visiting his dad in Evergreen for a week.
Christmas in Evergreen is a cute holiday story with all the right elements—a picturesque small town, contemporary romance, loving family and joyous Christmas traditions. The characters were well developed and well written.
Many thanks to Nancy Naigle, NetGalley, and Hallmark Publishing for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
