LOVED Georgia On My Mind! Hartford and Gia’s stories are so unique. I was addicted to finding out more about them and seeing how they came together. I’m excited to read Georgia Pine, Book 3!

Gia and Hart…sigh…

Every single person is a little bit broken. Every single person is looking for the one to make them whole. Whether it’s a lover, a soul mate or a very best friend. We all need our tribe. Our people. The ones that complete us.
This story spoke to me. I hate the choices Gia had to make, but in all honestly, that’s life and sometimes life sucks and it’s hard. But sometimes life is beautiful and wonderful! Hart had choices to make too and you can see his growth through the story. Together these two complete each other but with their choices it’s hard to say if they can have a happily ever after!
This is book 2 in the Southern Promises series and my second book by Fletcher. This one is my favorite so far! Just like the first book it is easy and fun to read. Maybe not as fun as book one but Gia and Hart are fun together. They are a little sexy together too! You do not have to read book one but why wouldn’t you want to!?
When I read, I am always looking and wondering who the author will write about next and since Stacey from book one wasn’t in this story so much I am wondering who could be next…then I caught a glimpse of the next story!!! Need-less to say, I am excited to read more!

This second book in the Southern Promises series is like a beautiful dance that will have you caught up in the music, the romance and the rhythm. The chemistry and attraction between Gia and Hart is just like the song lyrics Georgia On My Mind. It is about the roads leading them back to each other, it is about those eyes that smile so tenderly and about a feeling that is like an old sweet song that keeps playing in your head. Pasts and decisions that haunt both of them are the things that will push them to be better. Their story is mesmerizing, enchanting and a journey that will have its' share of ups and downs. Your heart will break for Gia and the secrets that she holds. Hart is so perfectly named as this man is the beat to her happiness and peace. Two broken pieces that will find their whole within each others arms. A story full of lies, secrets, passion, heart and peace.

Another enjoyable read from KG Fletcher! I was lost in Hart and Gia's story and I didn't want it to end. I loved the way Hart wanted to take care of Gia. He supported her and loved her in the most raw and honest way he'd found himself in, in awhile. While Gia was still dealing with her past, Hart was the one who was there for her. Even though it was hard for him, I liked seeing him trust Gia and tell her about his past. While their pasts weren't easy to overcome, their relationship was real and gritty. I enjoyed the twists and turns this story unveiled and these characters were real, honest, and heartbreakingly sad at times. Both had demons in their past, but some affected them more than others and threatened their future. KG Fletcher did a great job of captivating the reader and drawing them into Gia's and Hart's world. I didn't want to leave them. As Hart is Katie's brother, I also enjoyed getting a glimpse into Katie's and Clay's lives! Do yourself a favor and grab your copy now!

Georgia On My Mind by K.G. Fletcher is the second book in her Southern Promises series. I did not read the first book and it is actually my first encounter with this writer but I was intrigued by the blurb. I think you can read it as a standalone as you can follow the storyline easy as it is Hartford and Gia’s story though I can bet that Hartford was quite present in the first book!
Georgia On My Mind is a sweet romance story that feels real as Gia and Hart feel real and you are sticking close to them while they give you a run for your money! Both of them have their own demons and secrets, both of them are easy to relate to and both of them demand you root for them! It is a great story of how you can find your dreams again and there is light at the end of a long and hard day … even when you get so overwhelmed with the daily struggle …
I loved the bantering between Hart and Gia and I found myself laughing out loud … the story was a great combination of …basically anything that you look for in a romance story!

Georgia on my Mind by K.G. Fletcher a four-star read that will play in your dreams on repeat. This is the second book in the Southern Promises series, but each book can be read as stand-alone, but as usual you get the best overall experience from reading the whole series. Hartford what can I say about you, he is most certainly a character that will cause you drama. Heads butt and hearts collide in this story filled with passion. This is becoming a series you wont want to miss.

Georgia On My Mind is a quick and lovely romance. Hart is the typical cocky businessman while Gia is a struggling business woman who is trying to hold onto her dream.
Were some of the situations over the top? Sure. Were some of the characters stereotypical for the genre? Indeed. Did it end as I predicted? Affirmative. Did any of the previous statements cause me to dislike the book? Nope!!
I will continue to read stories in this series me by this author.

I loved this book. We got to briefly meet Hart in the first book of the series so it was great to have an entire volume dedicated to his story...love that this Southern Promises is a trilogy and eager to read the third one.
KG Fletcher continues to develop her craft and this story demonstrates excellent character development and seamless story lines. I couldn’t put it down!

This was a good continuation of the southern series by kg Fletcher. I really enjoyed this book. Good love story and because she lives here in Atlanta the locations were spot on. Thanks for another good story - I’m looking forward to the next in the series.

The story Georgia On My Mind (Southern Promises Book 2) by K.G. Fletcher is a contemporary romance book. It is an amazing story that I loved reading. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. I loved reading about the characters of Hartford Parker and Gia Bates. Gia is a smart, beautiful woman who doesn’t like to depend on others for help. From the business that she runs to her personal life, she keeps the truth hidden. I love how Gia’s passion for dancing is described in the story. You can feel just how much it is not just something that she does, it is a way that she gains peace in her life. Hartford is a man that is in transition. After leaving his last job because of an embarrassing situation he has sworn off women. That is until he meets Gia. From that moment he knows that there is something special about her. The attraction/connection between these two starts fast and is very electric. The deep emotions that they both feel for each other only grows the more they spend time together. Keeping secrets can hurt a relationship. What will happen when secrets are uncovered? Will their love for each other be enough to keep them together or will their relationship fall apart? Read this story to find out if Gia and Hartford get a HEA. I loved the flirting/bantering back and forth between this couple. There are steamy scenes that have the temperature in the room rising. I also loved that Hartford is such a gentleman. He is just the type of man I would love to meet and fall in love with. There are also other characters that are introduced and I loved reading about their interactions with Gia and Hartford. This is a well-written story with amazing characters you will not soon forget. It is the second book in a series and am looking forward to reading the next story.

After loving book 1 in this series I was really excited to read the second book in the series and enjoy more of the authors great writing style. I loved Hart and Gia’s story, I may not have got into it as quickly as Clay and Katie’s but once I did I was in love and hooked! This author really does create wonderful characters and I love her descriptive writing. I really felt like Hart and Gia were just perfect for each other. I really love this author’s way of creating characters, for me in this story it was Hart! I really felt like I could feel everything he did, I could feel his pain but also his joy at times. I really liked Gia too, I thought that she was a really strong character and I found myself just really wanting the best for her.
I am really looking forward to reading whatever else is going to come from this author, I love her writing style and her books are such a pleasure to read. I highly recommend this book and series so far, you will definitely fall in love in with the amazing characters!

I was drawn into this story immediately. Fletcher pulls you in with an intriguing scene that has the reader going “what now?” I loved the duality expressed by the lead character Gia (Georgia) she is stubborn, strong, and dedicated, like many artists who must fight for what they want. But she is also fragile and clearly a wilted rose needing some watering.
She finds that through her own perseverance, friendship and a love that provides her with insight and a vision for the future.
A great read the story is constant there are not down or boring parts, nice clean imaginative kinetic and enjoyable!

This is the second book in the series. I enjoyed this book a little more then the first. This book can be read as a standalone but suggest reading the first book as well. What happens when a dancer and a playboy find themselves at the same place at the same time? I enjoyed how these characters had chemistry right from the beginning. They made the story flow with the twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I enjoyed how they were able to pull me in to their story right from the beginning

This is the second book in the Southern Promises series. I enjoyed this and read it fairly quickly. One of my favorite things about this author is how she writes these characters to make them so real. Meaning I can feel their feelings right along with them. Their happiness, pain and embarrassment is mine as well. She did an extremely good job on Hart’s character. His pain and anguish? Or Joy and pleasure? It was easily seen (aka read) and felt. Color me impressed!
I was so excited to see this one is about Hartford. I enjoyed many things about him in Georgia Clay. I am glad he called out to the author for his story. It was nice to see more sides of Hart. At times he seems so serious. Then You see the lighter side of him. He is so open around his mom and sister i could almost see him as a little boy. I love when he puts his arms around the women in his life. He seems so comfortable doing that. His smile? That’s a thousand-watter..right there. I can picture that in my head! His feelings for Gia? I loved reading how excited he was to get her to have coffee with him and how worried he was about screwing up with her.
Gia..first off..I love her name and what it’s short for! So creative! Gia is a strong, smart girl who the author also made relatable. Gia has dreams but is having a problem attaining them. She has been down on her luck for a while. But she keeps plugging along. She is an inspiration. It was nice to see her besties support her in good times and bad.

Georgia On My Mind, Southern Promises - Book Two by KG Fletcher . This is the second book in this series and also my second book by this author. I fell in love with the first book and I knew that this one would be no different. We caught glimpses of Hart in the first book when he moved home and in with his sister Katie.
Hart is back home living in his sisters house after losing his job in DC, when he was caught in a compromising position.
Gia Bates is struggling to survive and keep her dance studio above water. She is working anonymously as a Marilyn Monroe impersonator when she meets Hart. When he saves her after the party from a handsy guy, he knows that he needs to see and know more about her. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their path or will they be torn apart by those obstacles?
I loved this book and I can not wait for more from this author and this series!!!

This is the second book in the Southern Promises Trilogy. It can be read as a standalone, but I would suggest reading the first book, Georgia Clay first. This book continues where the first one left off, but it is Hart (Katie from book one's brother) and Gia's story. If you haven't read the first book, this may contain spoilers from that book. Just like book one, this story is a cute romance book. It is a quick read with a HEA. The characters are believable and the character development in this book is true to life. Both Gia and Hart are broken souls that find themselves whole together. Both have secrets in their past, some of which they are embarrassed about. Neither one is looking for a partner, let alone love at this point in their lives. They are both on a path trying to get by with day to day living. Gia and Hart have all but given up on their dreams and aspirations. Hart finds himself living with his sister. When Katie leaves to go on tour with Clay, she puts Hart in charge of condo sitting. With his strained relationship with his dad and being let go from his perfect and prestigious job in DC, Hart finds himself back in Atlanta trying to drink his problems away. He hasn't had any contact with a woman since leaving DC. He isn't looking for female companionship either. He is just trying to live day by day and find another job in the lucrative real estate businesses. He is good at what he does, but one indiscretion on his part washed his whole career down the drain. Hart meets Gia in an unusual way and they find that they enjoy each other's company. As the relationship progresses, Gia gets cold feet. She is such an independent person, she has yet to ask another for any type of help. She is strong willed and refuses to let others in on her burdens. This could be the breaking point to their relationship.
I recommend reading book one first before diving into this story, but it isn't necessary. The reader will get in site on Katie and Clay, plus the background information on Hart that this book continues to uncover. Anyone who enjoys romantic love stories will fall in love with Hart and Gia.

I recommend reading book one first before diving into this story, but it isn't necessary. The reader will get in site on Katie and Clay, plus the background information on Hart that this book continues to uncover. Anyone who enjoys romantic love stories will fall in love with Hart and Gia.

Georgia On My Mind is Book 2 in the Southern Promises Series from author KG Fletcher. This is my second read from this author and now will not be my last. I can’t wait to see what this author brings to the rest of the series and her other books.
This author writing style was captivating, easy flowing and easy to read. She has created some wonderful characters that are real, relatable and very lovable.
Even though these books are part of a series, they can be read as standalone as in each book we follow new main characters on their journey through this book, but just to get a feel at how incredible these series is I’d recommend that you read in order.
This book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotion and has me feeling all the feels. I loved reading the journey of the characters Hartford & Gia. They are relatable, real characters that I loved reading about. Their chemistry was something you cannot describe and was brilliant from the get go. Both of these characters have been having a really difficult time and are both broken in some way, but what they are yet to realise is that they could both be each other’s reasons to carry on fighting and find their HEA. Can they both overcome their past in order to find their happiness and love to move forward with their future.
There were a couple of times that I didn’t always expect to happen what happens, but that just makes this read even more enjoyable and captivating.
We cannot forget to mention the secondary characters that come into this read. They just help make this read even better, and they help bring out our main characters and compliment them as a whole.
I cannot wait to see what goes on in the rest of the series. I will be looking out for Book 3, hoping this isn’t the last of Gia & Hartford we get.
This is an incredibly captivating and compelling read that should not be missed, I highly recommend it!

Georgia On My Mind by KG Fletcher is the second book in her Southern Promises Trilogy and this one just keeps getting better and better. Georgia On My Mind directly follows Georgia Clay, book one in this series, so it is best to read this trilogy in order. Following the story of Hart and Gia, who we got to meet in book one through Katie, as Hart is one of her brothers. This book is one that will pull you in from page one, being a cutesy romance with allot of steam but quite a bit of angsty suspense as well. Both Gia and Hart of broken people looking for something that will help to bring them together. But what these two don’t understand is that the pieces of themselves that felt like they were broken were actually perfect fits for each other’s pieces. While Hart is looking to drink his problems away, once he meets Gia there is something about her that draws him in. Together both Gia and Hart has a type of chemistry that isn’t found in every relationship. The only problem is that Gia is weary of Hart and her past is making it hard to trust something that feels so good. The closer that they get to each other the more that she starts to feel suffocated and her freedom being stripped away. Will these two find a way to make it through their differences or will they let a perfect love match run its course on the back burner? Fletcher is an old favorite of mine, and having found this series of hers I can’t believe I didn’t find it sooner. I love every one of her characters, her storyline and the amount of steam she puts in each book is just enough to quench your thirst. If you are looking for a great author who writes great romance and even better happily ever afters than this is the one for you!

Georgia On My Mind is the second book in the Southern Promises written by K.G. Fletcher ad the second book that I have read by this author. I enjoyed her writing style as it is easy flowing and creative. The character are amazing, well written and I loved their banter with each other this made them feel more real. The storyline felt real.
Hartford Parker is a disgraced real estate broker hiding out in his sister's condo in suburban Atlanta. Swearing off women after an embarrassing indiscretion at a black-tie even, Hart now indulges in drinking and working out as he tries to come to terms with his unexpected firing at a prestigious DC firm.
Gia Bates is struggling to make ends meet at her failing dance studio across town in a run down and forgotten part of the city. Secretly working part-time as a Marilyn Monroe impersonator for a seedy entertainment company has Gia feeling trapped in her debt while slowly chipping away at her passion and solace in dance.
Hart and Gia find themselves at the same party and end up on an uncertain path full of sex, secrets, and shame.
As they move forward in a spicy tango, can the two of them ever dance in sync? Will they fight for their own happily ever after or will Hart be left with nothing more than Georgia on his mind? Can these two broken people make each other whole?

This series continues to get better, inspires me to see the silver lining in a situation, gives hope and empathy to those that may be dealt a horrible hand but don’t let it define them. When someone is down on their luck I think they have to work twice as hard to be given the same opportunities as others. It takes strength, courage, self confidence and a whole different level of independence to hold your head up high and give each day a hundred perfect.
“Shame covered her like a thick fog, making her head throb. She swore she would never be anything like her late mother. Here she was on the precipice of a new and exciting life with the man of her dreams, and she was about to play a game of Russian roulette.”
As soon as I finished Georgia on my mind I started thinking about Book Three in the Southern Promises Trilogy ~ Georgia Pine. I was trying to guess who the main focus would be on...after reading the summary I can honestly say I wouldn’t have guessed it in a million years. Then I let it sink in and am thinking it will be awesome!!!

Georgia On My Mind is the 2nd book in the Southern Promises series by K.G. Fletcher. Although part of a series, these books can be read as a standalone. I would however urge any reader to read the whole series as the first 2 books are fantastic. Having previously read other works by this author, she is definitely become a major favourite of mine.
Our hero in this book is Hartford Parker, brother of Katie who was the heroine of book 1, Georgia Clay. Hartford, or Hart as he’s better known, is living at his sister’s house in Atlanta, having been fired in disgrace from his high powered job. At a friend’s birthday he comes to the rescue of Gia Bates who is the Marilyn Monroe party entertainer. There’s an instant chemistry between the 2. Gia is struggling to keep her dance studio business afloat and is working as an impersonator to earn extra cash.
I really loved both of these characters. Gia is so head strong and will do everything to keep her business from going under. I loved her grit and determination. Hart is an adorable guy who just wants to everything he can to help her.
I would highly recommend this book (and the rest of the series) as they are amazing stories with equally amazing characters who will draw you in from the very first page.

Georgia On My Mind is the second book in the Southern Promises Series by K.G Fletcher. I am really loving this sweet, romantic series! The first book was sublime, but this book is even better! It is an erotic, funny, emotive, romantic, and really well written story that had me hooked right from the beginning. It was so easy to read and very easy to love. Gia and Hartford (Hart) are wonderful, complex characters that grabbed me immediately and pulled me into their story….. And what a really great story it is! Full of spicy, sexy details that sizzled off the pages- with secrets, lies, regrets, and drama- adding even more interest to this fabulous story.
Hartford Parker is Katie’s brother (Georgia Clay Book #1) who has moved back to town after a scandalous situation left his life in tatters. He’s been house-sitting at his sisters’ home, while she is away on tour with her boyfriend, licking his wounds and trying to figure out his next move. He is a little lost and doesn’t know what to do to get back in ‘the game’. The last thing he expects is to have his drive and determination reawakened by an incredibly beautiful Marilyn Monroe impersonator. A simple cup of coffee with this stunning woman turns his world on end. The more he gets to know her, the more he wants to help her. She’s incredibly independent, but he’s determined to help her no matter how much she might object. Will meeting Hart be the beginning of a bright future for Gia, or will a terrible mistake cost her this chance at love?
This is such a wonderful addition to the series, definitely my pick of the two so far. I can’t wait to read the next book “Georgia Pine”.

We get the hot, hot, hot story of Gia and Hartford, Hart, in this novel. These two have a sizzling hot chemistry that will ignite you as you read their story. Fletcher weaves the romance around intrigue and drama that makes the story so relatable and easy to devour.
We first met Hart as just Katie’s brother from the first novel, Georgia Clay. Hart has had to move home after a situations that tore his life to bits. He is tasked with house sitting for his sister and deciding what he will do next with his life. Enters Gia. She is a big personality that was so much fun to read. Hart decides that helping Gia will be his next step in life, no matter how much Gia may want to turn down his help. When the flames ignite will the two have a chance at a long-lasting future together or will there be other directions in the cards for them? Can they reach a happily ever after together?

This story is the second installment of the Southern Promises series by K.G. Fletcher. Like the first one, this novel can be read perfectly as a standalone, but makes better sense when read with the series. Hart is unemployed, and living with his sister Katie, who we meet in book 1. Gia is a business owner/dancer/impersonator. They come from different sides of the track and know 2 completely different ways of life. When Hart and Gia hit it off, I was definitely interested in seeing what kinds of ups and downs they experience. This story touched on some real world issues while demonstrating what it means to want to be a better person because of the person you love. I found myself super annoyed by Gia more than once, and kinda in love with Hart just as much. Fantastic read! 5 out of 5 stars!

Let me start by saying that after reading Georgia Clay, I didn't know how Ms. Fletcher could top book One. Well, top it she did! I fell in love with this story from the first pages. I couldn't stop reading! K.G. Fletcher writes contemporary romance as it should be: Sexy, Steamy, Heartwarming, Story-driven. Georgia On My Mind pretty much has All The FEELS.
If you read the 1st book of the Southern Promises series, then you've already met Parker. I'll admit, I wasn't sure if I'd love him as much as I loved Clay, but this guy stole my heart from the moment he first met Gia. They were just perfect together and after their first impromptu date, they had me craving fresh, warm donuts. Seriously.
I love the way the author incorporates dance and music into the story. Her background in music shines through the narrative. It gives the story the genuinieness many stories lack. These characters feel like living and breathing people, and that is what I love most about K.G. Fletcher. Her characters are not out of this world individuals who could only exist in a novel. No. Parker and Gia feel real and are easy to relate to.
I can't recommend this series enough. K.G Fletcher has easily become one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. Georgia Pine, here I come!

I Loved this book!! I loved the first one as well but I think this one is my favorite. You could absolutely read this as a standalone, but dont...The first one Georgia Clay is completely awesome and those characters are in this book as well :)
This storyline was amazing, you take 2 broken people who just want to be happy but can't seem to escape their pasts and you have all sorts of emotions while reading. I had all the feels while reading this story and there were times I just didn't know what was going to happen. Hart and Gia were both such great people yet made some not so great decisions that almost ruined their lives. Can they get past these and find hope, love and happiness with each other?
This author has become an automatic one click for me..Her writing style is spot on and the way her stories flow you just get started and then the next thing you know your done. She has many books I have not read yet but will definitely be fixing that. Not sure if this series will go on but I would love it if it did, checking back in on these characters would be awesome!!
