CarlyPeople are cruel. It’s a lesson I learned at a young age and one I’ve carried with me ever since. I keep myself closed off from the world to avoid experiencing that caliber of pain again and I don’t see that ever changing. Then, Chance Turner roared into my life on the back of his bike.On the outside, he’s everything I should avoid - cocky, rebellious, player - but I can’t seem to stay away. The way I ache for him is dangerous and the way he makes my heart race is going to be catastrophic but when someone I love is in danger, I have no other choice.Chance is the only one who can help me. All I can do now is pray I have the strength to resist him.ChanceFor years, there has been something missing from my life and the moment I saw Carly, I knew she is everything I’ve been looking for. She’s got baggage and thick, steel reinforced walls around her heart that refuse to let me get too close. That’s okay, though. I’m a determined man and I have no problem putting in the work to get what I want.When she comes to me for help, it feels like a step in the right direction and whatever it takes, I refuse to let her down. She needs me and I will go to war for the people she loves if that’s what it takes to win her heart.But I didn’t realize that she would be fighting me just as hard as the bastard we’re hunting.

A.M. Myers lives in Cody, Wyoming – a little town about an hour away from Yellowstone National Park – with her husband and their two boys. She has been writing for most of her life and even had a poem nationally published in the sixth grade but the idea of writing an entire book always seemed so daunting until a certain story got stuck in her head and wouldn’t leave her alone until she started typing. Now, she can’t imagine a time when she won’t be letting all of the stories in her head spill out onto paper.
A.M. Myers writes emotional, gripping romantic suspense novels that will leave you swooning and hanging off the edge of your seat from start until finish. When she is not writing, you can usually find her up in the mountains with her boys, camping, fishing and taking photos of the beautiful landscape she is lucky enough to call home.

"I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

Again an interesting book! Once more, a storyline worth reading. Addicted to love is the first book I have read by A.M Myers and when I finished it it was crystal clear that she won a spot in my heart as one of the authors I will always enjoy reading their books.

I am intrigued by this work of hers and the life altering topic she choose to deal with inside Carly's and Chance's story. A family tragedy, an abuse and a corruption of morality are some of the important themes which are tangled into this romantic story. What's more, is the heroine, Carly, who tries hard to live a normal life that keeps failing her; a woman who founds the right man to lean into and to love her but keeps block him out; her character is so broken inside yet so strong at the same time...

Carly Rae Mills has built around her heart thick, tall walls no man was capable to cross, for twelve years now. Chance Turner wasn't expected to be into her life but he bulldoze into her mind after meeting him at Ali's house. Carly's constant rejections and Chance's persistence drove them into an sizzling affair while Carly started to second thought of it. To cut their story short, it was a roller coaster relationship for them. At the same time, Carly's daily life started to have much more family drama after a long time. The closed relationship with her sister started to changed dramatically and her mother became more unreadable. The bad turn didn't take long to happen and Carly found herself between life and death.

The author's narrative is well-turned and immersive; Having both Carly's and Chance's personal views it brought the strongest of feels while unfolding Carly's story. It was an emotional, thoughtful, intense, heart wretching, soul shredding story. The author does a nice job when revealing little by little the story behide Carly's past. I was totally invested in the outcome of it, frustrated and anxious to see if Carly's and Chance's lives would finally collide. And then, the author hits me hard with an unexpected turn of the storyline, leaving me a blubbering mess. Honestly, I have enjoyed more the second half of Addicted to Love! It's action-packed, suspenseful and full of angst. However, I would prefer the narration to be more compendious so as to let the reading move effortlessly and also, to present in better angle the main heroes. Of course, this is my personal opinion and it's a minor reason to lesser even in a bit this deep and meaningful story.

I hope I intrigued your imagination a little and make you grab the book. Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

Addicted to Love is the second book in the Bayou Devils MC Series by A.M Myers. I loved the first book in the series and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. So, I had high expectations for it. I have to say that this book blew me away, it was even better than the first!! It is such a brilliant story, and the characters are just divine. Ms. Myers is definitely one of my must-read authors…. and this series is just WOW!!
I loved meeting up with all the characters that we met in the first book- the MC bonds of brotherhood and camaraderie is wonderful to see. I love each and every member and love how they are such a big part of the story. Ali, Izzy and Carly are fantastic, fun, and supportive friends. Bring them all together and the sparks fly.
But this book is primarily Chance and Carly’s story- and I loved them both to death! Carly is such a wonderful character, I couldn’t believe what she had endured and just wanted to give her the biggest hug. But Chance stole my heart! I just adore him!! He is the ultimate book boyfriend and newest member of my harem. Talk about making me hot under the collar and weak in the knees! The sexy biker with a heart of gold…
There were funny quips and banter that had me laughing out loud, then there were heart-shattering events and revelations that brought me to tears- the, I’m sobbing so hard I can’t see what I’m reading kind of crying…. This story wrecked me- and I couldn’t put it down, I HAD TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! There were times the story gave me heart palpitations and anxiety from the intensity of what the characters were going through, or from the revelations that were made- which I think is a sure sign of a gifted author.
I will definitely be reading the rest of this superb series, and anything else that Ms. Myers releases.

Thank you, Ms. Myers!

Just wow! Super emotional journey dealing with complex trauma. Loved the hero in this story for the FMC. He was everything she needed to bring her cold, rusty heart back to life. The chemistry between them was super hot ❤. The story went amazingly fast considering the length and was filled with action, suspense, drama, and an amazing girl crew. Highly recommend both this book as well as the previous one. Can't wait to see what's next!

Hmmmmmm ok so I loved Chance, I mean loved, loved him. Carly....not so much, she was annoying and way too stubborn. I mean I get she went through something horrific, yes, it was and I understand her trauma from it BUT her whole demeanor and attitude was a big no for me and a turn off and it was torturous to read. Chance was doing all the giving and she was sooooooo stubborn and pigheaded for too long in the book. I like me a strong heroine but there is strong and independent and then there is downright bitchy and she WAS a bitch:(

5 Stars for Chance and maybe considering her trauma 2-3 stars for her:(

I have something of a love/hate relationship with this book. First up, Carly is a completely different person than she was in the previous book and it threw me. I wasn't loving her snarky personality. Yes, she had something terrible happen to her, but I don't find her particularly brave not to have gotten help to deal with it and it was used as a plot device to cause conflict between the H & h more than anything.
The author has a tendency to skip over time where you feel there should have been some page time devoted to what was happening in the story. For instance, the h states she is super close to her sister and her sister is her best friend, but when her sister distances herself it's three days later and the h is concerned but makes no effort to talk to her sister. This happens multiple times in different situations throughout the story. Also, both books now have had abupt endings and I think they needed a little more, if not epilogue at least a bit more story after the climax.
The violence the h and another character endured at the hands of cartoonish villians was too much for me.

The positives, I loved Chance. He is amazing book boyfriend. The author made me cry at certain times in the book which is so not like me and I really do like the storyline of the series. So even though I griped a lot, there was a lot I liked about it tool. Hey, I'm a girl it's how we are.

Have your tissues ready, especially for the ending. I absolutely loved the first book and was determined to get my hands on this one. Ms. Myers has outdone herself with this book and she is turning into one of my go to authors. This book primarily centers around Chance and Carly but there were still appearances from the characters we know and love. Carly is a very complex character and what she had to go through at a tender age and survived is a true testament to her strength. Then there is Chance’s persistence that makes me love him. He doesn’t take no for an answer and doesn’t give up on Carly even when she pushes him away. When tragedy strikes will Carly succeed at finally pushing Chance away or will their relationship still be standing?

I highly recommend this book!!! It ran the gamut for me emotionally. I love the banter between Chance and Carly and that ending was emotionally draining but so worth it. I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for the next book in this series.

One day....
Couple of hours....
Addicted To Love was devoured...

A.M. Myers blew me again once again with Addicted To Love - book two in Bayou Devils MC series! From page one I was addicted and couldn’t put the book down. It was intense and has everything I love in a MC book.

Chance, the man definitely has perseverance and doesn’t give up easily. Carly, the girl was infuriating at times. She was too independent for her own good and stuck inside her head more times then not. But god how I loved the two of them and everyone within the Bayou Devils Club. At the end of the day it was about family and sticking by each other through thick and thin.

Addicted To Love has angst, drama, suspense, some sticky situations, romance, hot sex, heart break and heartache. My heart was in pieces a time or two and seriously broke for Carly and what she went through. This book is a definite must read!

A.M Myers has written an outstanding MC romance that grips you from the first to last page. This story involves Carly who experienced a tragic event that left her with trust issues and Chance the gorgeous bad boy biker who falls for Carly. Although “Addicted to Love” is a romance there is plenty of action, conflict, tragedy, suspense, heartbreak and steamy sexual scenes. I loved everything about this book from the well-developed plot to the fantastic characters. One-click “Addicted to Love” for an outstanding reading experience.

Addicted to Love by A. M. Myers a five-star read that you will become addicted to. This is the second book in the Bayou Devils MC series, they could be read as stand-alone but I would recommend you read them in order as they do have the same set of secondary characters in the story and you will want to go back and read more about everyone as the story will suck you in and make you want to jump on a bike and roar away to become a Devil.
Chance Turner is a man that you really shouldn’t want, he’s the original bad boy. Biker, bad boy and serial singleton. But when he is doing MC business and taking care of family, he gets a shock when he sees a different type of Devil in a sleek black dress and sexy red leather jacket the stars align and galaxies dance in his eyes. Could this be the woman who will break the original bad boy? Has he met his match?
Carly Rae Mills is the Devil in the Red leather jacket and she has her own set of drama, she has enough on her plate and doesn’t need a man, she has plenty that will help with the urges she has and if not, there is always a friend with battery’s. That’s all men are good for, right?
But this is so much more that a star-struck love story, there is action and drama and a great story line that will have you hooked from the first page to the last!! There are moments in this story where you will be wanting to shout at the pages as you know something bad is going to happen, but there are other times where the rug will be pulled from under you without warning and you will be left gobsmacked and possibly broken.
This series is going from strength to strength and you need the Bayou Devils in your life they are one MC that I would happily ride off into the sunset with.

This is my first book by A.M. and I really enjoyed it. And it wasn’t at all what I expected at all which wasn’t a bad thing at all it was just shocking. You sometimes get these preconceived ideas in your mind on how a book might be and then it’s pleasantly surprising when it goes nothing like how you thought. This is the 2nd book in this series and I don’t feel as I missed anything from the first book I kinda wish I had read it first. But you don’t need to to read this book they are stand alones. Carly has been through so much in her life so she’s just closed herself off to everyone but her sister. At first glance Chance as found who he has been looking his entire life for in Carly. But he finds out how hard it’s going to be to break down her walls. But with other outside forces and people and her pushing him away will they ever get a chance to make something happen. This book had my emotions going back and forth like a pendulum. One minute I was laughing and swooning and then I was so mad I wanted to smack someone. Then came The waterworks!!! I cried so hard I was having to put my kindle down wipe my face blow my nose read a little and repeat. I am going to go back and read book 1 and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. The only thing that I wish was that the epilogue in this book was just a little longer and a little more detailed. But that is me just being picky, I’m like that with a lot of books. I would definitely recommend this book. - By Tina

Could this MC series get any better? I mean seriously. The author has written a very exciting, book that will have you turning page after page as you follow along. The characters are well defined and you just can’t help but get attached and feel like you’re right there with them going through it all.

Carly has been hurt in the past and is very closed off, she doesn’t do relationships at all. Chance was a troubled kid that has turned his life around thanks to his MC brothers and the work they do helping those who are defenseless (as in Battered Women, etc). He’s always been a lovem and leavem guy. Yet he’s always felt something was missing in his life. When these two meet they feel the sparks but Carly keeps pushing him away. She knows he’s trouble for her heart. But when the chips are down and her sister is in trouble, Carly knows the only one she can turn to for help is Chance. What happens with her Sister? Can Carly keep her walls up or will Chance finally break through them?

The storyline and its characters will take you on one very emotional ride. You’ll laugh, smile, sigh and cry but it’s a ride I highly recommend taking. 2 thumbs up for this wonderful 5 star MC Romance read.

"The very first time he looked at me with those Jade colored eyes and smiled, I should have run in the opposite direction."

Wow, there is a lot packed into this book. It's a romance, sure - but it's also a suspense, a story about family (of choice and by blood). There is betrayal and heartbreak and love.

This story is written in a dual point of view with chapters alternating between Chance and Carly. The sex scenes are very "open door" and the romance is swoonworthy.

You do not have to have read the other books in the Bayou Devil's MC series to enjoy this story.

If you like MC stories, or romance, or erotica, oh heck if you like to read, you will enjoy this book and this author.

This may actually be a decent audiobook, but I couldn’t get past the first few minutes. It’s was too hard for me to listen to the male narrator with a deep, strong, masculine voice telling me about his female problems. It just didn’t work! I would definitely read the e-book and bypass the audiobook until/unless the author redoes this with both a female and male narrator.

Wow. I just finished and have tears in my eyes. This book was an emotional rollercoaster. I liked book 1 but book 2 is on another level. I'm excited to start book 3 and see if they just keep getting better. Carly is such a strong woman I can't believe through everything she still is standing. She amazes me. Chance is literally perfect for her. Ok going to cry some more.

Be Prepared 😭😫😢

This is not an MC romance story, but a story filled with love, tragedy and redemption. A. M. Myers wrote an absolutely amazing and emotional book. If you get as invested in stories like I do, have the tissues ready. I, personally, wasn’t prepared for such an emotional and intense story and I was kinda mad at the author as the story evolved, but I took a breather before writing this review. Just had to cause it affected me so deeply and triggered some of my own memories and issues that I’ve had to live through. Just be ready for an emotional rollercoaster. Totally recommend it ❤️

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Review~~~~~~~~~~
In this second book in the Bayou Devils MC series we follow Carly who is Ali's best friend. We of course get to reacquaint with all the hot bikers of the Bayou Devils MC. Carly is such a damaged soul and it takes a special man to bring her back to life, Chance wants to be that man. He is determined to break down all of Carly's walls, no matter what. When her sister Ivy gets into a horrible situation that only the Bayou Devils MC can help with, Carly leans on Chance to help her through this. When her past comes back at the same time Carly doesn't know what she will do. Does she trust Chance to not be like every other man in her life and hurt her, he is a different man but can he really see past all the pain from her past? The twists in this story left me breathless and in tears. Such an emotional and moving story. The women are as strong as the men and they left me cheering them on. Such a great book that I didn't want to end. I hope I get to read more of this series because so far it has been stellar and one of my favorites. Definitely a MUST READ! This can be read as a standalone but why would you want to miss the first book that gives you more of these amazing characters of the Bayou Devils MC.
~~~~~~~~~~Julie's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~~

Carly meets Chance when her best friends home in broken into. She never does serious but with Chance she just might take the leap. They banter back and forth until she feels comfortable to give him a chance. When her sister gets into a horrible situation and drags Carly down with her, Chance won’t stop until she is safe. Chance makes it his mission to see to her safety and to also see that every person involved is taken down. The shocking twist in this book will leave you speechless. Awesome storyline with fabulous writing.

Addicted to Love (Bayou Devils MC Book 2) by AM Myers is the second book in her Bayou Devils MC series. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest that you read the first book also. I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first one. I have read several books by this author and she takes me on a journey that I have a hard time putting down. I enjoy how this author's writing style is such that she can pull me in right from the beginning. It is creative and engaging. Her characters are both connectable and true to life. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I didn't want to stop. They made me laugh in parts and cry in others. They took me on some twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. This is Carly Mills story. Carly learned at an early age how mean people can be. She has carried that with her which is why she doesn't do relationships. She is just looking for casual sex with no attachments. Then she meets Chance and her life gets turned sideways. He is everything that she needs to stay away from, a bad boy. For Chance something has been missing from his life, he just couldn't really say what. When someone threatens her sister, she has no choice but to go to him for help. Problem for her is that she is attracted to him and she likes him. Can she resist him? Is it possible that she will lose her heart in the process? Will she be able to save her sister? I enjoyed both of these characters. Carly is full of attitude and is feisty. She complements Chance as he is strong, take charge type of man who needs some softening some. They are both attracted to each other but she resists him but will he break her down? They have great chemistry together. The secondary characters in this book are just as enjoyable. I hope that we get to see more of their stories in the future. They are supportive and just as strong. I highly recommend this book. Find out what Carly's story is and if she is able to save those she loves!

I have loved each and every one of A.M. Myers' books so far. She always writes compelling stories with fabulous characters. I was so excited to be able to read a copy of Addicted to Love.
The beginning started off strong and I enjoyed getting to know Carly and her thoughts and feelings. She turned out to be a very complex character, and I loved her sassiness. There was great description used when Carly met Chance. It felt like everything was in slow motion as they checked each other out for the first time. I loved his confident attitude and that fact that Carly couldn't quite seem to gain control when near him. Their chemistry was already palpable. I couldn't wait to read more.
The pain of Carly's past painted quite the picture of why she acted as she did. Her feisty attitude when dealing with Chance was masking a tremendous amount of hurt. I fell more and more in love with him as he patiently worked to peel away her tough exterior. He had gotten under her skin and I was entertained watching her struggle with that.
This book had multiple layers all taking place at once and provided just the right amounts of passion, suspense, and intrigue. It took me on an emotional ride from start to finish and even though Myers attempted to rip my heart out a time or two, I loved every minute of the ride.
This book was incredible and I wish I could give it more than five stars, because it definitely deserved it.

Prepare to absolutely fall in love with Chance in Addicted to Love! This man is sweet, caring, loving, sexy, funny – just the whole package. Even more is the man is the walking poster child for patience. Despite how many times Carly tried to push him away, he kept coming back. Carly is beautiful, smart, talented, and completely devoted to her sister, Aunt Dottie, and her best friends. However, since a painful event in her past, she has always pushed men away, not allowing any sort of relationship build between them. As much as I sympathized with her character though, I was so frustrated when she kept pushing Chance away!!

Anyway, there are not enough words to express my love for this novel and for A.M. Myers! Although there are several things about this novel similar to other MC novels, I must say that Myers has written this with a huge amount of emotion, suspense, and class. While reading I could see the characters, hear their voices, and feel their emotion. It was romantic and heartbreaking at the same time and definitely required some Kleenex, however, this is hands-down the best MC novel I have read, and definitely the best MC series out there. Her writing is amazing, the conflict and action kept me on the edge of my seat, and there were enough sexy and romantic scenes to balance it all out. I am so happy to have discovered this author and will be chomping at the bit for the next installment to be released!!!

I loved Addicted to Love by AM Myers - I have been a fan of Ms Myers for a while now and I have to say each book is better than the last and doesnt disappoint in the least.

We met Carly and Chance in book 1 of the Bayou Devils series - so I was excited to dive into them more with book 2. Ms Myers does a great job reintroducing these characters and deep diving into who they are - especially Carly. Her past has left her in some cases broken with a very large wall surrounding her - a wall that Chance wants an opportunity to break through and boy does he ever. Then when life comes after her and her family again she turns to Chance and the MC to help protect her and her sister along with a new found trust towards Chance. Can she trust her feelings and Chance?

When you read Addicted to Love I promise you will go through a gambit of emotions - some of which will require you to keep the tissue handy. This story has so many unexpected twists and turns I was reeling for a while afterward. Ms Myers does a great job balancing the story between romance and danger and isnt afraid to go down some very dark paths. Something I for one absolutely appreciate. We do get to see some old characters and their a few easter eggs in reference to her first series but dont get me wrong this is Chance and Carly's story from beginning to end.

If you want to fall in love with strong characters then dont look any further than Addicted to Love - its well worth the time.

Not what I want to read. Too depressing.
I think this is supposed to be an extremely emotional story but I was annoyed at the ending.
It was more a lesson on what NOT to do. I just cannot feel sympathy for TSTL idiots.
This book really was a tear jerker at the end but I cannot say I liked Carly.
She starts off this story having sex with another man. This is supposed to show how cold and unemotional she is. I just thought she was a bi-ch.
Though I felt sorry for what she went through at 16, her not seeking help and allowing it to rule her life was down to her.
She has a supposedly close relationship with her sister Ivy but doesn’t listen to her advice.
Ivy at least had the smarts to get herself out of a bad situation by asking for help. Then ruins all that hard work by caving and not thinking.
Chance was a sweetheart and deserved better than Carly. His guilt at what happens was unwarranted.
Carly went out when she shouldn’t have. Ivy didn’t raise the alarm when Carly was taking too long. And the fact Ivy stupidly gave herself over to Julian was not Chance’s fault.
If women ignore their own safety and don’t ask for help, they are idiots.
I liked the premise of bikers helping abused women get away from their abusers. I thought these stories would be uplifting and empowering for anyone in that type of situation.
No more of her books for me. Too depressing and slightly unbelievable.
Read through KU.

Carly doesn’t do relationships, with the attack from her past and the way that her mother treats men, she has no interest and makes it clear when she goes out with someone.
When she drops her friend off home and she saw, Chance she knows there is going to be problems, he makes her feel things that she hasn’t felt in a long time. Although Chance realises that Carly must have something in her past holding her back, he loves her fight against him even though she says she doesn’t want a relationship their chemistry tells him otherwise.
Carly pushes away Chance at every turn and Chance keeps coming back, Chance knows that what he feels with Carly is that once in a lifetime feeling and he’s not going to let it go without a fight. Slowly Deciding to stop fighting the feelings Carly decides that it’s worth giving what she feels with Chance a try. Carly’s biggest fear is once Chance knows about her past that he will leave, although he didn’t run when he met her crazy mother. When her past shows up on her door step, she sees a side to Chance that makes her realise that he does cherish her.
Carly realises that not only is her sister in trouble, but exactly just what extent her mother went to, to keep her wealth. The twist was one I didn’t’ see coming, but I loved the ending with how Carly is still just as stubborn with Chance as she always has been .

Addicted to Love (Bayou Devils MC Book 2 ) by AM Myers

Addicted to Love ( Bayou Devils MC Book 2 ) by AM Myers is the second book in her Bayou Devils MC series.This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first book in this series as well. This isn't my first book by this author and it definitely won't be my last . I've truly enjoyed every book I've ever read by her.I had the hardest time putting this down once I started reading. .Get ready for a emotional roller-coaster ride with a few twists and turns.  .This is the story of Carl and Chance . Carly doesn't do relationships she learned early on just how mean people can be..She's looking for one thing only and that's casual sex no strings attached. Then enters Chance and her life is turned  son it's side.Chance is everything she needs to stay away from,he's a bad boy.Chance knew something was missing from his life he just was sure what it was..when there's a threat to one of her family members she doesn’t know what to do so she asks Chance for help.One big problem she's attracted to Chance so the question is Can she resist him?Does she lose her heart to chance in the process? Do they save her sister?I loved Carly character the most because she's got a attitude and she quite fiesty. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to see what this author comes out with next.
