Etheric Researcher: A Kurtherian Gambit Series (Etheric Adventures: Anne and Jinx #2) by S.R. Russell, Michael Anderle continues the story of Anne and Jinx as they get to know each other and train together. They are now trying to get a team together to work on using the power of the etheric forces. This book tells of their adventures gathering some of their team and trying out some of the power. I was really getting into the book better than the first one but then the book just stopped. Dead end. Frustrating.

Gosh I loved this book
These are great stories that are a wonderful glimpse into the lives of “ordinary” people in he Empire. I love the interactions between Anne, Jinx, and their friends.
Where is book 3? That’s what I want to know. They just got their asteroid and we have the possibility of a light saber. You cannot leave us hanging.

Absolutely fantastic fun read. Enjoy reading every sentence. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
( Setting here with a cold totally miserable, this book helped make the last few hours breathable.....seriously this cold is horrible ..but this helped keep my whining down ...my kids thank you..)

Loved 1 and 2, now NEED 3! When will we get it? P.s. congrats on becoming an author, why did you wait so long? Your books are wonderful. My 11, 18 and 19 year old daughters and myself, 47 years young, love every book in TKG universe, of every genre, and yours are our newest favourites, so .....need book 3!

Wow
I loved this book. I love this universe! I just read Both Etheric Adventures and was extremely frustrated if I had to set the book down for any reason whatsoever. I am well into middle age, but I loved seeing the universe threw Anne's and Jinx's eyes. The only bad thing? Where's the next book? How long until it's released? (How's that Micheal?)

Interesting times & kindred spirits
When is book #3 being published??????? You can't just leave a cliffhanger like that and expect us to wait. Oh..... I guess we have no choice but to wait 🤔Another amazing book in The Kurtherian universe, and I * need* to read the next book about Anne and Jinx asap!

Kurtherian Gambit Series
Mr. Anderle, I am writing this after reading Bethany Anne's series for the 5th time! I have also read most of the others 2-3(ok, make it 4) times. I just want to let you know that your books are "simply amazing darling"!!! Lol. I have been a devoted reader of Christine Feehan for several years, but I have to admit that I have read your books more times in the past year, than I have EVER read ANYBODY else's books in my life! Your characters are so believable, I sometimes feel like I'm right there with them. My husband works nights, and after I get my grandkids off to school, I sit by him and read. He is now familiar with Bethany Anne and Michael, as I try to explain to him just WHY I woke him up AGAIN with my laughter. I give you many kudos for your brilliant imagination, as well as your ability to bring your books (not just the ppl) to life. I didn't think I'd ever put an author ahead of Ms. Feehan, but sir, you now have that honor. 😉 May your imagination never run dry. (And may you live in interesting times) lol

More excitement and adventures for Anne and Jinx!
Anne and Jinx make a potentially deadly discovery while doing their etheric research. The destructive potential is so great that Bethany Anne decides further research must be done on a different asteroid than the main base.
After three bad guys try to kidnap Jinx, Anne must use deadly force to protect her beloved dog. This, however, comes with considerable negative psychological impact on Anne.
Bethany Anne decides that things will only become worse as Anne becomes better known, so she sets up a guard detail to protect her.
Anne decides that she might be living the old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times!"
I'm definitely looking forward to reading book 3 in this seies, so get crackin' on that writing Steven and Michael!

Hey Mr. Russell. I'm going to follow MA's advise and say ... When Is The Next Book Coming Out? I hate the sudden stops, when there is plenty more room on my kindle. It makes me wonder. Is the story a full 50K, or are you counting all the pages of "books already done and published?" (I'm just pouting because I want the book to never end) ( :) I've counted all the books written about this Universe, and it's pretty overwhelming. (I've read them all)
I could go on, praising your talent or how great your characters are. I think you would appreciate my telling you Thank You for sharing your gift. You and the other authors in this universe brighten my day, and on some days, make it easier to get out of bed.

Many laugh out loud moments
Stephen Russell has done it again.... produced a compelling read that is so interesting that is was hard to put down until finished. Anne and Jinx now have their own A.I. and go into business for BA with unexpected results. Kidnapping, blown up apartment, employee hire and much more makes this an exciting read. You know a book is damn good when you laugh out loud many times throughout it and this is one such book. Can’t wait to read book 3 in the series

I had some issues with this one. I loved the first book but the insistence with using a name that the character obviously didnt want to be called was way too much in this book. As someone who changed my name at 13 and got told over and over how noone was going to actually respect my wishes cause its was just a phase or some other excuse yet still uses that name at 34 (amd still gets those excuses at times) this was upsetting to read. I can only imagine how it would come across to trans people who get maliciously deadnamed.

You might wonder why an older guy is reading YA? Why not!
Great book, as Mike suggested more, More, MORE! Now that that's done, great books. The story development is off the hook, I was concerned that we would see less of the kick ass BA the Queen. Nice to have been proven wrong.
Anne and all her new friends make these books the next part of the story. I'll be passing these off to my grandson!

Can't stop reading!
I'm really loving this "extra" series with Anne and Jinx. The stories are inventive and well written, and while part of the original books, they allow you to step outside of the large number of books in the main series and get a view from a different angle. They are really good, so hopefully you looked up the order to read and followed it. If you didn't before, go back and catch up! Really!

What a wonderful story.
I've just finished the second Etheric book and I found it just as inspiring, thrilling, and fun as the first book; and at just 194 pages just as disappointing as the first book's 154 page count. At the rate I read I'll be finished with all three books and headed into my Ann & Jinx withdrawals.
They deserve at least as much e-printing Authoridge as the entire Fabulous Witch Of The Federation is enjoying. As my Wife would tell me...'Just Saying'.

Well, a lot's going on in this story, and Anne and Jinx find themselves becoming both employers, and having guards of their own.
Their new research assistant, Stevie, fits in really well with them both, and soon is helping them with some research that has a rather explosive end.
I'm loving this look at the people surrounding Bethany Anne, and definitely enjoy the tricks and fun that the dogs enjoy.
It's on, non, for me, as I continue reading this series, with Etheric Explorer!

Great humour
Writing about a teenage Main Character must be difficult, but you did a great job. I enjoy the stories so far and love the Canine involvement. I think though that some enhanced American Short-Hair Felines should make an appearance. So anyhow, I look forward to the growing and further adventures of Team Anne.

I love this series SO much!!!!!
It's one of those when I get to the end of the book and I'm too emotional to write a coherent review but I have to try. It's so perfect! I almost wish I'd waited until the story was completed because it's going to be really hard waiting but I regret nothing. Please make book 3 happen soon!

Sci-fi and dogs
I loved these two books but....... Where is the third. Even though the story is light,it's still very readable. I liked that even though there was no bad guy the story still flowed and carried me to the end.
I look forward to more from this character and the world around her.
Also I am a dog person. Down with cats.😊

This is a good one!!
Again, upgrading young ladies to be a kick ask is a wonderfully written story. Especially when she is working on new ideas. Umm, we were looking for this, but found that. Pure research, if you can afford it, is most always a blessing. Where are the next four or five books in this series?? The world wants to know.

A whole lot of fun
This story is really wonderful. It's really nice seeing this storyline from a different point of view to usual. I love Anne's level headedness and Jinx is so sweet and clever. I'm really looking forward to seeing they make those light sword thingies (*giggle* ohhhh trademark, thy are a harsh mistress)

Respect
I have found all the character’s in this story to seem to be very life like and easy to pick to be me in the story. Loved the way Anne treats every character as a real person. No matter if they are human, alien, were, or AI. Want to read more. Keep coming with the great ideas.

This was a great story! The characters, especially Bethany Anne are always full of wisdom and justice, tempered with "putting up with no shite attitude", I admire so much in all these books. All of the main characters in this story emphasize the need for treating people as you would want to be treated and that is no bad thing to teach. I highly recommend this book and love this new series.

I liked this book. Characters are interesting.
I like this story Russell has concocted. Was disappointed when it ended. I'm 63, and found that the entire book was geared towards anyone from 16- 90 !

I thought I was reading Andele. Grab the Series.
This is as close as you can get to MA having started another series. If I did not know better O would believe S.R. Russell was a pen name.

Great read
I love this new arm of the Kurtherian Universe. Old friends, new friends smart and sassy story line. The future is going to be very interesting for Anne and company and I can't wait for more.

Great book just not long enough
Great story line and a fun read. That being said how can you go wrong with a dog as a main character. This book could indeed be fleshed out some more. Looking forward to the next installment.

Great second book!
Thank you for expanding the stories of the dogs. Anne and Jinx are great main characters. It's also exciting to see how the next generations are living on the "Meredith Reynolds".

Good
I enjoy Russell's writing. He makes jinx seem so real also her interaction with Anne realistic. Like all of the kutherian books and have been reading through all of them. I would like to know when the next jinx and Anne book will be out.
