Title: The Enforcers: NOAH Series: Silverlake Enforcers #3 Release Date: #AlreadyReleased Author: Anastasia Wilde Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Serial: Standalone, No Cliffhanger Genre: #PRN #WolfShifters #Enforcers #5Stars🌟⭐🌟🌟🌟 •••••••••••••• 💢Wowzer absolutely magnificent, the last of this series. Definitely a Must Read!
🔹️ Noah Reilly is the Wolf Shifter for book#1 Kane who Selina mind melded. He lost everything all his years in the Seals, loyalty to the Enforcers, the Council gone which he understood but hell now he was a nobody still hearing Selina talk to him, remembering her bleed him. Every women he saw he became needy until one Bear trap night.
🔹️ Aramina Reston aka; Mina was human and crazy or was she. Mina kept having returning nightmares to the point she’d lose her mind. The only thing to make her stable was her son Brock, he was her everything. But her worthless ex was trying to take him away from her. Meeting Agnus was scary to her women parts. Could she move on?
Noah and Mina have both been broken in different ways, but the damage has been done and neither feels that they will ever be truly whole again. The absolute star of this story is Mina’s precious little boy, Brock. He’s vital to the story, and quite the charmer at only 4 years old. His abilities are unusual and it was such a delight to watch him develop yet still remain a little one. So many thoughts are churning around in my head after just finishing this amazing story. Yet I don’t think I want to go further than saying – this is such a good story on so many levels. It’s heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. It’s full of action and deeply personal moments. There’s humor, danger, tears, giggles, sexy times and the bonds that pull people together under the most unusual circumstances. So in my opinion, you need to take what you will from the Story Description and read, experience this one for yourself.
What a completely satisfying story to bring so many story lines in the Silverlake series to a “mostly” conclusion. There are still stories to be told and those will happen in the next series, Bad Blood Shifters, I’m pretty certain – and who knows, perhaps by then we’ll have even more story lines to move along again. In many ways I definitely hope so for these characters have become favorites to me, and I love the glimpses we get of all the characters we’ve come to care about in these series as they move forward in their lives together with their mates and families.
If you love Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance, then The Enforcers: Noah is a story that you will want to read. It will capture your attention, your emotions and leave you wanting more = all things that a really good story should do.
I read this story through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Broken humans and broken wolves make the best mates
Noah is lost. Broken by a genetic mutant shifter with mind control powers. He has lost his job as a enforcer, his home and even his mind. Even with the healers and counseling helping Noah still is raw, empty and lost. He gets so mad and drunk to fill the hurt. Because of the pain and angry his wolf breaks loose and all he wants to do is run off the pain. He gets himself in a bear trap with a badly mangled back leg. But there is help for him and her name is Aramina or Mina for short. She saves him ,gets him back to her clinic and does surgery to repair his damaged leg. All before his shifter healing kicks in. Mina has her own problems and brokeness. Her only bright spot in this world is her 4 year old son Brock. He is her everything but there is something special about Brock that no one knows. He thinks he is a werewolf. After saving his life Noah decides that he is going to help Mina. Help her get custody of her son back from her mean nasty ex Robbie. Noah will do whatever it takes to make her happy and safe . Robbie and his hunter buddies are a bigger danger than they first seem. With the help from a mixed bunch of shifter Noah will keep Mina and Brock protected and safe. Plus along the way Noah and Mina learn that even if you are broken there is someone out there to love you. I can't wait to dive into the mixed bunch of shifter that turn into The Bad Blood crews stories.
This KU Library selection features Noah, the Enforcer who was enthralled by Selina in the last book. Her brain altering tentacles were removed from his mind by healers after she was killed, leaving a void in his brain where he still hears her voice. He lost his enforcer job with the Council and his pack and has been tasked with keeping an eye on the Nashville pack. He dulls the pain and her voice with alcohol and brawls until the night he's caught by a bear trap while running through the woods. Aramina Restin is sure her soon to be ex husband is up to something, so she's out in the woods at night when she hears an animal trip a leg trap. She releases and tranq's a grey wolf, then gets him back to her veterinary clinic where she repairs and sets his leg. After finishing her chart notes, she finds her four year old son, Brock, with his hand in the wolf's cage, petting an alert wolf and staring into his eyes. Brock tells her the 'woof' is sad and likes to be petted. As much as that scares her, Mina doesn't yet realize the danger she's now in, and how much her fragile grip on reality will be tested in the days to come. I enjoyed this book, which reintroduced the shifters held captive in a Gen X facility that were released by Jesse during his escape. I'm looking forward to their stories next.
Still suffering from Selina’s mind control (The Enforcers: Kane), Noah Reilly’s undercover at the Nashville estate as the pack continue to squirm under Jesse’s rule. After starting a bar fight, Noah takes his pity party on the road but leaves his car stranded before he can crash it. But not looking where he’s going brings Noah pain and pleasure.
Vet Mina Reston’s looking for evidence her soon to be ex is unfit as she battles for custody of their four-year old son when she happens upon Noah’s body. It seems Noah might not have found the rogues he was looking for but he’s found something that can’t be ignored… and of all places in Alexander Grant’s ‘backyard’.
While this outing had a slow start for my taste, this reader was quite pleased with what it became… a wrapper for the series loose threads, giving a proper resolution for Nashville and a start for the new pack, just to name a few things, plus I also liked Noah and Mina’s broken pieces fitting together so nicely and Brock not being overly cute. Rating: 4.5stars
This is my first series of books from this author and I have to say I am hooked. Each book has improved from the one before without losing the heart of the series. I have been reading through KU but will be buying them. I am now a fan of this author for life. This book starts off with a kick and carries on right to the end. I felt sorry for Noah at the beginning as he feels like he lost everything due to the evil Selina. He was on a downward spiral and was not going to be able to stop. Meeting Mina and her special son Brock was fate sorting him out and rewarding him. I really laughed when he woke up in wolf form in the cone of shame. Mina is a very intelligent woman. She is a qualified vetinarian but has had a traumatic time in the last few years and I loved how resilient she was and dedicated to Brock. So sad how she had been manipulated and abused by Robbie Loved how in this book we get so many questions answered. Not a conclusion but a clarification of some major points from earlier books. Once again a very enjoyable read.
In The Enforcers: Noah is found by Mina Reston when he was caught in a bear trap with his leg half torn off. She not only rescues him but being a vet she fixes his leg too although she doesn't know he is a shifter woof.
Mina has a young son Brock, age four and from his first contact with Noah, Noah realizes he is a wolf cub and needs guidance in learning to change to his woof form. Brock is cute, caring, sweet exceptional and can feel the emotions of other shifters and help them feel better just by touching them. Mina's soon to be ex-husband has custody of Brock and she just gets visitation until the ex-captures another wolf shifter and Brock calls his mother & Noah for help.
The story is full of danger, battles, betrayals in some parts and full of romance, loving, caring and learning to be part of a caring pack that supports all shifters. Reunions play a part too making this a perfect end to the six books series about the Silverlake Shifters.
Another book from a character’s POV we know nothing about! But this was actual a great story. It’s got the cohesion the other books in this world so far have been lacking and actually ties everything together quite well. There are still some holes and knowledge gaps, but it’s starting to actually build into a world now, not just loose stories. Though it still changes its own rules. I loved Brock. He is the ultimate Mr Miyagi ball of adorable and clueless optimism and the sweetest character to interact with. He was used really well to blend all those storylines together and lead into the next series.
Noah thinks he has lost everything, after being bespelled by a woman out to rule the supernatural world, he gave up being an Enforcer, a friend and almost on being a human being. Then he is sent on a mission and there he sees tge Fates do have a reason for everything ; his are Mina ( his mate) and her son Brock ( who thinks he's a "woof"), and Brock can tell what each person's animal is they carry inside them. And trouble comes to call on many fronts, does Noah have it in him to protect Mina and Brock and possibly save not one pack , but two ? Read The Enforcers: Noah to find out, it's full of hot sex, intrigue, fighting , compromises and a swear jar, yes, a swear jar !! 4⭐'s for a story that is at times sweet, at times will enrage you and will ultimately give you your happily ever after !! Please read stories in order as it will give you the most enjoyment.
I just finished the last book in this trilogy. They follow the Silverlake Shifters. It's a good idea to start the series at the beginning with the Silverlake Shifters as tgere are many connections to tgem. This is a great continuation to a series I can't put down. Noah, a good buy, gets tangled up with a twisted shifter who messes up his mind. He loses everything and just at his lowest, he meets Mina, a single mom in the midst of a custody battle. He begins the long fight to win her over, only to find out her ex is working with a group intent on kidnapping and experimenting on Shifters. After a run in with her ex, Noah has to convince Mina to take her son and disappear with him, but Mina's ex has other ideas. Mina's life and that of her son depend on her believing the unbelievable. Can she take a leap of faith? Non stop action and full of romance!
Wolf shifter, Noah Reilly, was mind controlled by a genetically altered supervillian shifter and forced to commit felonies with no memory of them. He feels lost, alone and empty. When he gets caught in a trap, vet and animal behaviorist, Mina Reston rescues him. Both are damaged and broken inside. She has a son, but her ex husband has full custody of him. But everything is not as it seems and she's thrown head first into the world of shifters. A good, engaging read, with interesting characters and storyline. It is book 3 and I haven't read prior books but I got the jist of everything easy enough.
Of this author's books, this one is my favourite. The characters are flawed, nuanced and so relatable - depressed Noah struggling with his addiction, worried Mina fighting simultaneous battle for custody of her son and for protection of wolves from poachers, and adorable Brock hiding his alter ego from his so-called father. The way these three come together to become a family in a greater community of apparent misfits has me rooting for them and wanting to see how they win. It does not matter how many times I have read this book, I have to re-read it and see again how Noah, Mina and Brock become a family.
Oh, Noah, sweet broken, Noah. All he wants is to fell whole again, to fill the void left by the manipulating Seline. Then there is struggling single mom, Mina, embroiled in a hostile custody battle with Robbie for their son, Brock. When their paths cross, they are inexplicably drawn to each other. When struggles arise with young Borck, Mina is stuck at the mercy of things she thought only existed in horror movies. This story has a more somber tone than the rest but it's still an incredible journey. I requested an ARC so that I could leave an honest review.
This book was brought with fear, passion, and happiness. It was good to learn more about Noah and his mate and her child as well as learning more about certain shifters we met in Jesse's book. I'm excited that there are more about those escaped shifters as I really had wanted to learn more about them! Noah's arc was a bit hard for me though as child custody is serious business and is always hard as it's personal being a child in a similar situation, although I must two you my mother's battle wasn't near as hard as the mother in this book. Or as terrifying.
Oh my Gosh! The feels!!! I laughed, I cried, I got angry, happy... you named it and I felt it.
This was one of the series that the more books I read the better it became. The last books are definitely the best in the series. The first few ones were good but a bit... mellow. It was nice but something was missing to make it great. Towards the end of the series though it got much better. I’m talking about the plot, the dialogues between the characters and all the loose ends of the story.
another great story in the series. If you are looking for a great shifter series Anastasia Wilde is an author to look into. Hot sexy wolf shifter who seems a little broken on the inside meets human female who also seems to be broken. Coming together to protect her son (she doesn't know about shifters) they complete each other. Funny, sexy, action packed and emotional, this book will keep you reading.
I am having a hard time figuring out what to say without revealing any spoilers! This entire series has been truly breathtaking. I finished Isreal's story and went right to Noah's before even taking the time to write the other review...that should tell you something, right? This is a MUST READ story and part of a MUST READ series. Anastasia Wilde has become one of my definite favorite authors! 💞
I wasn't sure when I saw the title of this one. We met Noah during Kane's story, but he didn't seem too major a character (unlike most of the other books when we met characters we knew would get their own book). Still, I really loved this book.
Noah was a sweetheart and Mina was adorable in her attempts not to swear. As for little Brock, it was cute, mushy, and hilarious.
I have been reading silver lake shifters for 3 days now ! With each book I just didn't want this series to end. Now looking forward to the rest of the misfits (Flynn, Tank, Tristan and all the others to have great stories ). As I said I couldn't stop reading these books . From the beginning Jace and Emma story to Noah's I fell for these wonderful characters and there incredible loves. Looking forward to reading more . .
Wow! Super job! A great book, a wonderful love story? It grabs you and holds you from the first page to the last! Full of awesome characters, mystery, danger, evil, drama, secrets, betrayal, mayhem, hot shifters, and a wonderful little boy! Will they be able to save the shifters being captured? Will she be able to rescue her son and protect him from the evil of her ex and his friends? In a fight to the death will she survive so she can be claimed by her true mate? Or is it to late?
A different view of shifters. There was trouble, isn’t there always with shifters?! Mina and her little son Brock are trying to make a new home without Mina’s dominating ex-husband. Noah is in so much trouble with his pack. He has difficulty following orders, even his alpha’s orders. Noah meets Mina and everything changes.
No editing/spelling errors! Kudos to your editor! Entertaining story with some graphic sex scenes.
The first few paragraphs about a drunken mess-in-the-head kind of guy didn't really lead me in. But....when he was caught and he interacted with the heroine and her son, I was hooked.
It was love at first sight for him and for her I guess. Not bad or off putting so I was able to roll with it.
What I really enjoyed about this story was the well defined rules, roots and established characters. This was the first book I've read in this series and it made me want to read more.
Noah had a tough start. Rough upbringing and a blood crazed psycho who took over his mind. He lost everything and was messed up because of her. Yet he still believed in the magic of true mates and love. Meeting Mina was his greatest accomplishment. Through her he found love and patience. Mina was so broken like Noah that together they found something special. The humor in these stories are as amazing as the love making. ♥️
Noah had no idea that when he got drunk and rang straight into a bear trap that the woman that rescued him would save more than his foot. Nina had no idea that the wolf she saved was a shifter and that the hot guy she met later was the same person. Readers will love this latest book in the series and like all the others I would highly recommend this book to all who love romantic shifter tales.
Very fast paced and packed with a lot of feels! Great characters and great interactions between the various packs. I haven’t read the other books in the series but felt I didn’t really need to for this story. Author does a great job tying in the past within the story so I didn’t feel lost or confused at all. Definitely want to go and read other characters stories now though.
The series has a different shifter couple in each Book. This one is about Noah and Mina and includes her young son who is also a shifter but she had been brainwashed and her clouded. Good read, looking forward to reading more of them.
I haven't read any of the other books in this series and there is a lot of reference to other characters and stories you aren't familiar with, but it doesn't really affect this plot. The l language is very rough, not something I appreciate, but the plot is good and the characters interesting. Worth a look!
