Lumberjacked
Mounting bills and rising tuition costs force me to leave college mid-semester. I need money and I need it fast.
In my little rinky-dink, not even one traffic light, neighborhood there’s only one game in town. Big Timber Treecutters.

I really enjoyed this one. Just a feel-good story with no drama and I loved the extended epilogue.
It's about Jack and Diane.
Jack is her dad's best friend. She needs to find a job. He owns Big Timber Treecutter and he's looking to hire someone. She wants the job but the only problem is he doesn't hire women. Would she convince him to hire her?
The last time they saw each other was three years ago and they've been fantasizing each other since then. Is it time to make it a reality?

To review this book I will just say that handsome lumberjack Jack was simply as the late Gerald Lavert coined it... 'Mr. Too Damn Good' for "Lumberjacked: An Older Man Younger Woman Romance."
I loved the chemistry between Jack and his best friend's daughter and college student Diane. Diane needed to take care of some bills and fast so she sees an advertisement and discovered it later it was with her father's best friends company, 'Big Timber Treecutters.' Diane goes to the business seeking employment and see much more than expected and... enough said!
With off the chart steam factor and stomach holding humor, this book I CAN STRONGLY RECOMMEND WITHOUT GIVING TOO MANY SPOILERS!

Jack Wood is the owner of the town's Big Timber Treecutters business and has been in his family for generations. He hasn't got a wife yet but he set his eyes on a young woman three years ago before she left for college. That young woman was his best friend's young daughter, Diane, and he saw in her three years ago a woman that he wanted as his own to help continue his family's legacy. It's perhaps just as well that Diane has had a major crush on Jack for years too but didn't dare act upon it. However, she's back from college and looking to earn money to help pay for her tuition and living expenses for the last part of her college course in accounting. As Jack's business is doing so well, at least on the surface, she goes to him and spots him in a compromising position! No spoilers from me, but she did get an 'eye full' of what he had to offer a lucky woman. But things are not all as they seem and Jack needs her expertise to keep his business afloat. Can Diane help him and do they have a future of HEA in store for them? Flora Ferrari upped the heat when writing this book. It's an older man/younger woman who have crushed on each other for years and finally get the chance when she is grown to act upon their passions. When these two get together expect fireworks and sizzling chemistry between them so have your fans/ac at the ready, set, GO! When Jack says that her will do something, he will follow through and I did so love the way was with their eldest daughter! A great Dad for her to admire and respect. i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the older man/ younger woman romance between Jack and Diane. Jack is best friends with Diane's father. Jack owns his family's lumber business and is in danger of losing it. Diane sees an ad in the paper looking for a lumberjack for Jack's business and that the business is in danger. Diane goes to see Jack to apply, but Jack doesn't want her to work in a dangerous way. Diane offers to look at the books to see if she can help in any way. Diane was in college, but she left to find work and help Jack. Jack has been waiting for claim Diane as his for three years and now she is at his house, he won't wait any longer. Diane wants to be with Jack and when he tells her, she tells him she has been saving herself for him. Jack wants to make it special for her and wants to show her how much he cares for her. I liked this book, i liked the puns Jack and Diane threw back and forth. I think they were playful with each other and had a lot of fun. Jack was so romantic and he wanted Diane to know how much she was loved. Another good one from Flora from her earlier books.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Diane and Jack Wood. Diane has come to Jack for two reasons. One to help his business before he losses everything, and two to get the man himself. Jack doesn't know what to make of Diane but he knows he wants her and has for years now. He however is not to keen on his men looking at her all day long. He knows he needs help to save the business that has been in his family for generations. He just doesn't know if he will survive Diane being the woman to help him and not have her. Can they both get a HEA and exactly what they are looking for or will who they are make that impossible?
This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs. I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked on these characters from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Jack's business is in bad shape and he is trying to find a way to make it productive. Diane comes to him for a job knowing that he doesn't hire women. However Jack isn't able to refuse her so he hires her to do his books. Sparks fly between them and Jack tries hard not to give into temptation but its not long before they are together. When he sees what Diane thinks will save his business he is stunned but knows he'll try anything. What will happen when other learn about them being together? Can Jack show Diane he is the one for her?
This is a steamy hot story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry between them just about melts the kindle. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Diane needed a job and who better to ask than her Dad’s best friend, Jack. He had advertised in the paper, none of the local guys had applied, and she could definitely do the work. But he would not put a woman out there with the guys, for her own safety. He owed back taxes, however, and without more workers, he would lose his business. Diane went over the books and thought of ways to increase their income. But will it be enough to save Jack’s company? And will he and Diane have a future together despite their age difference?
This author writes well and it’s a good story about taking a chance on possibilities. The characters are likeable and the reader will definitely enjoy their story. I voluntarily read a review copy of this book and my comments reflect my honest opinion.

ONE WILD ADVENTURE!!!
Man, talk about a walk on the wild side. This is one exciting, action packed, hard hitting, fast paced, nailbiting, pulse racing, heart pounding, page turning bombshell that captivates from the beginning. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few dips and bumps make for one thrilling experience. All the drama, fear, danger and suspense keeps your attention on the pages and frozen to your seat. The characters are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The scenes are so realistic and graphically detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as it plays off one another in perfect balance. Flora did a remarkable job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Flora, thanks for sharing.

I have loved every book of Flora Ferrari's that I have read and this is no different
Erica always wanted work with race cars preferring cars to dolls as a child and now she has her chance
Gage is the gorgeous older man who is a world famous race car driver who is near to retiring, he is also a playboy
They meet and sparks fly between the older man and young woman. I loved every these may to December romances and Flora writes them so well, she is a terrific writer and the book is great, well written, sexy and romantic and I highly recommend

Cute and tender
I have both loved and been disappointed by this romance. But despite their age difference, he has been attracted to her too for several years. So begins both their work on the same place, the seduction and their love story. But I was rather disappointed by the second part of the book, too cutesy and often descriptive.

They haven't seen each other since she went off to College & what an eye opener for Diane when she sees Jack again, when she turns up asking to work for him which he doesn't really want NOT only because he doesn't employ women he just knows he wouldn't be able to handle seeing her everyday.
Do come & see how things turns out for him & her & see if & what obstacles they overcome....

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Jack and Diane. She's looking for a job and Jack, her dad's BFF had one but he doesn't hire women. He's a lumberjack and is in danger if losing the company his great grandparents started. Diane has a few ideas to help. But heck doesn't expect to find Diane watching him take a bath in the stream. Things heat up quickly between them. Both harboring feelings for three years. One they give in to their desires they are inseparable. Great quick read with lots of heat.

I am thoroughly enjoying reading the backlist of Flora Ferrari and I have to say her early work is just as good as her later work she really has this genre of older man younger woman totally under her control

Another great read by Flora Ferrari. When Diane needs a job to help pay for college, she turns to the one man she knows can help. Jack Wood is her dad's best friend and the man of her dreams. Jack owns Big Timber Treecutters and he certainly knows how to swing an ax! Oh my is he one sexy beast. He has been fantasizing about the younger woman for a while now and this is his chance. He knows there is no letting her go now. The chemistry between Jack and Diane is off the charts hot! 5 stars!

This was a fun sweet hot read that puts the attraction between Jack and Diane through the test of time by making them wait 3 years for life to align properly. That being said, Jack didn't figure anything would come of his dreams due to their age difference. Diane blew that issue out of the water with her determination to have the man she's always dreamed of. What follows is a lovely romance with steam. I especially loved the epilogues at the end to fill out some of those questions that can be left at the end of a novella. Well done, Ms. Ferrari!

Just like the song, Jack & Diane were made for each other. The attraction has been simmering for years, while Jack waited for her to grow into a young woman...he had pretty much decided she was off limits, when she crashed back into his life, literally falling out of the bushes. It's off and running from there. Pretty much insta everything! They are so steamy-but-sweet together, on their way to a HEA. Such a fast paced, fun read. Who wouldn't fall for a sexy as sin, secretly sweet lumberjack???

Older man younger woman is the theme of this sweet romance. I am quite sure it is more difficult to write a good short romance than a long one as everything has to be so much more condensed and precise there is just no room for extra words or sentences. This story is just perfect to read if you have a little time and want to read something steamy and fun to read.

This author's books are so good and I just love them. I can't wait for the next one. He has a lumber business and is in trouble. He is her father's friend but he wants her and has for awhile. She wants to help him get out of trouble with his business. Most of all she wants him and has a special gift for him. This is such a fun, hot, emotional, suspenseful read. I love this book; It was funny, sexy, and hot! It is an easy, fast pace, enjoyable read. A wonderful well-written storyline that is relatable and exciting. I liked this story because it felt real most of the time. The characters are likeable and they develop well. Their chemistry is flowing of the pages. I like he really tries to do what he thinks is the right thing. Love has no age and this couple is a nice match.
I would have liked a bit more action in the story. It sometimes is too cute for me. I like a bit more spice in the stories.

I have read a few books now by this author as she never disappoints! The story-line is great and one that you easily become absorbed in to. The characters are well rounded, and the two main ones, Jack and Diane have amazing chemistry between them. If you want a great romance to read with lovable characters, then grab this one! I like wild, jacked up, alpha lumberjack stories. This isn't it. He is a simp lusting after his best friends daughter. She comes to him for help and saves the day while they fall in love. No conflict, no stress, and no drama. The dialogue is cheesy, no real banter and chemistry is low. I guess I just want more punch from my novellas. This is a last Sunday afternoon when you have nothing else to do. If that's for you, have at it.

I thought this was a good quick read. I liked Jack and Diane and the way the story begins was good. I am glad that their story was happy and that there was an epilogue to get just a little more of them. I also enjoyed the puns in the book.

I really enjoy these older man/younger woman romance reads. The characters are always interesting, well-developed and have chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written with a happily ever after. I especially like the extended epilogues. I also love the tattoo man on the cover. Love tattoos.

I noticed I wasn't the only one thinking about Jack and Diane, when I started reading I just kept singing it could not help it. And I enjoyed this older man/younger woman book these two were cute and funny together.. It was a fairly quick story so grab a copy and enjoy!
