I was given a free copy of Seeds of Malice for an honest review.
It took me a while to read this one as I found it to be more mystery then romance which I don't mind also it was book 11 in their series and I might have known the back ground a bit more if had read the others. In saying that Dale Mayer's writing style draws you in and goes into so much detail. I had to get out of my normal romance head space to take in the whole book which isn't a bad thing. There was a second chance love story to it but the main story was about the heroine who had be a test subject to her parents from the age of 2 until they died when she was 16. Then was frame for murder and had a special gifts were she could absorb different poisons.
Like a said very in-depth read but worth it

Seeds of Malice is my second Dale Mayer read. After reading and enjoying Flynn's Firecracker, I was interested in reading more of the authors work. Whilst Seeds of Malice was a decent read, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Flynn’s Firecracker.
In all honesty, I spent a long time debating what rating to give this book. It’s a three-point-five star rating, and I couldn’t decide if I should round up or whether I should round down. Although there were some four star moments in this read, I felt as though there wasn’t quite enough for me to round my rating up. Even though I opted to round down to the three stars, know it is more than a simple three star rating.
Although this is the eleventh book in the Psychic Visions series, it can be read as a standalone novel. I read it as a standalone novel, and I believe many of my issues were a result of this fact. It may work as a standalone novel, but I feel as though I did not get the full experience through reading it as such. I feel as though I would have enjoyed this one a lot more hand I read the prior books in the series.
You see, I had so many questions. Whilst some elements of the story did become clearer as it progressed, I was still lacking in a real understanding by the end of the story. I had questions about characters and the events that took place, about details that were mentioned and never explained in full detail. My questions regarding the individual storylines of the main characters were answered, but my questions about the bigger picture are still sitting there. As someone who enjoys the bigger picture, I was left feeling somewhat discontent with this one. It really does depend upon your views as to whether or not you’re willing to jump into this story as a standalone or whether you wish to read it in relation to the rest of the series. I’m not at all sure how well it links in with the rest of the series, but I am interested in finding out more.
Of course, I could not give a three star rating simply because I read the books out of order. It would be unfair to round down due to a choice I made. Due to this, my reason for rounding my rating down is multifaceted.
My other Dale Mayer read was an extremely gripping read, filled with thrills and endless action. In comparison, Seeds of Malice felt very slow. Rather than looking at the here and now, a lot of the drama was retrospective. There were some moments of action and drama within this one, but it was nowhere near what I had been anticipating based upon my reading of Flynn’s Firecracker. I wanted things to move quicker, I wanted more edge of the seat moments.
In addition, the ties that brought everything together felt somewhat forced. There were many interesting elements to this story, but I feel as though the connections between them were not all they could have been. I love it when there’s a good mystery tied together by many smaller parts, but only if it flows well. Although some elements flowed better than others, I felt as though it didn’t flow as well as it could have. Some of the details felt as though they weren’t explained quite as well as they could have been.
Due to this, some of the scenes felt as though they were lacking in the depth they could have had. The emotions weren’t as deep as they could have been, events seemed to come out of nowhere, and it jarred me out of the story. Throughout I was thoroughly addicted, curious as to how things would play out, but it wasn’t the powerful read I had been hoping to receive.
Whilst I will be reading more of Dale Mayer’s work, I’m crossing my fingers the future books I pick up will be more like Flynn’s Firecracker. Although Seeds of Malice was enjoyable, it wasn’t what it could have been.

Another great read from Dale Meyer. I have now read a few books by this author and they are all very good, very different, and very well researched. This book was part of a series (number 11), but I read it as a standalone and that was totally ok...although I think I might have got more from the book if I knew all the back stories.
Our main character (Fern) is a botanist, acquitted of a crime she didn’t commit, but deeply scarred by the experience and still reeling from all the hate. The real killer was never caught. Fern leaves town to study in another country. When she returns to her ‘normal life’, the killings start again. If its not her (gotta love solid alibis), then who? Should she stay and help the FBI dude or run again?
No more plot give aways here...but this book had the usual cop vs killer vibe. There was action, drama, suspense, plot twists and poignancy and it was fascinating reading all the botanical parts, the way Fern could 'feel' poisons...etc - kudos to the author for bringing that sense of realism to this tale.
This book was a little slower to build up than some of the other books I have read by this author (Into the Abyss, Flynn’s Firecracker), but that was ok. We got lots of character history and a slow burn means the last half of the book was an absolute cracker. Fern had a truly awful background. I think this ugly in her past gave her the strength we reader’s get to see in these pages? Again the fact that our main character is flawed adds depth to the story.
In summary, this is a great addition to this series, a great mix of paranormal, thriller and crime. I enjoyed being back in the work of the Ms Meyer.

Toxins and the psychic realm…
This is the eleventh book in the Psychic Visions series.
After being acquitted of a crime she did not commit botanist Fern Geller left the country and studied toxins at a conservatory abroad where she was made welcome and could hide away from the hatred humanity had thrown at her. Forced to return six months later what she left behind begins again, the real killer was never caught, with new deaths occurring by poison suspicion falls on Fern but the killer did not reckon on a plane delay giving her an alibi. Should she stay or run away again? While out of the country she’d made unique friendships that she doesn’t totally believe in but finds them helpful. Can they possibly help her now? Can she trust the man who betrayed her and still makes her blood burn? She never expected to feel what she did with London and then to lose it was devastating.
Circumstances prevented FBI Agent London Behring from standing by the woman he’d fallen in love with, he didn’t really believe her guilty but circumstantial evidence said otherwise and it was hard to shake. She stood alone against the system and walked away though many still believe her guilty. Her return gives London a chance to make amends. Can he possibly regain her trust? He’ll definitely need her assistance to solve these new murders that have to connect to the ones she was charged with. She will not forgive him so easily, her trust he’ll have to earn.
Fern is an intriguing heroine with a horrendous history; that she managed to walk away from that life is a testament to the strength of the survival instinct in some of us but walking away undamaged was not possible. To then years later find herself accused of murder was just life adding severe insult to grievous injury, someone is out to get Fern and it all ties into the past she wishes she could forget. Can she solve the connections in time? She’ll need to learn to believe in magic she doesn’t think is real, in her instincts if she’s to survive this time. As the hero London is a man who has much to prove, to himself before Fern. There are many evil twists to this suspenseful tale loaded with psychic components and cameos from characters we’ve met before. This was quite an engaging read with much character growth.

A truly spellbinding read by the queen of romantic suspense. Dale Mayer has done it again with utterly memorable characters like Fern Geller. A brilliantly constructed book that keeps the reader wondering up until the last.
Because of her unique ability Fern is under constant suspicion for a string of murders. I was glued to the pages throughout the book suspecting everything and everyone.

4.5 stars Knocking off a little from the rating because the author wasn't as clever as she thought. Kinda iffy on the foreshadowing there with too many attempts to divert. But I thought the poisonous fauna was interesting and the final showdown was really good. I wish the author explored the psychic abilities just a little bit more, but still it was a fun read just like the others in this series.

As soon as I read the summary for Dale Mayer's Seeds of Malice, I knew I had to add to my TBR list. It sounded fantastic - a famed botanist dubbed "Dr. Death" being set up for murder? Now, that's one way to catch my attention! Plus, the science nerd in me was intrigued by the botany aspect.
As it turns out, Seeds of Malice was an enjoyable read. It was like a really good episode of Criminal Minds -you know the one, containing all the twists and turns and extra fright - with just the right amount of romance and paranormal thrown in.
Seeds of Malice introduces the reader to three POVs: Fern, London, and the bad guy behind it all.
Fern was an incredibly easy character to like. I felt immensely bad for her regarding the previous murder trial. Here's this women who didn't do the crime yet still faces the repercussions and hate from it on a daily basis. It made my heart ache for her, especially when they included some of the hate letters in the text. My heart also broke for Fern regarding her family life. At the start, I had no idea her family would pay such a role in the book. Dale Mayer really managed to throw a gut-puncher in with that one! I also enjoyed seeing Fern kick a$$ and take names in her field - she was a smart women who used her talents, surprisingly, for good! London was the typical male hero; however, I still enjoyed reading about him. I liked his dedication to help clear Fern's name as well as the countless times he ended up being there for her, even when she was doing everything in her power to keep him away. He was a good guy. My favorite POV, however, was the bad guy behind it all. Dale Mayer truly managed to bring suspense, fright, and intrigue through it. Throughout the novel, I was trying to figure out who it was, especially when little subtle clues were dropped.
The plot of Seeds of Malice mainly focused on who was behind all the murders, and boy, was it addictive. As mentioned before, the bad guy POV was the perfect addition to really sell the mystery suspense part of this one. It had me on the edge of my seat throughout! There was so many ways I could've seen the plot of this one going, but the end result still managed to surprise me. Dale Mayer did a fantastic job of creating an intricate plot with a great mystery - I'm still reeling from all the surprises thrown in at the end.
The romance between London and Fern was also a good addition; however, at times I wish it was more developed. I wish more was discussed about their previous relationship as well as Fern's previous relationship with London's brother. The context was there but I feel that it would've made the story more developed if it was fleshed out more.
The botany aspect in this was also incredibly interesting. I loved the fact that Fern could "see" the poison left behind from the plants. It was such a cool paranormal ability to have. I also enjoyed how it made this book different from the typical murder mystery.
In all, Seeds of Malice is an enjoyable, fast paced addition to the paranormal world. I'm excited to see what Dale writes next!

Psychics, murders, poisons, betrayal, mystery, suspense, love; Seeds of Malice have it all.
A psychic ability that kills by inhaling her breath. That’s just terrifying.
Who would think of such a psychic ability, only Dale Mayer can surprise with such a new unique ability; poison via plants. Amazing, just amazing.
She can see, smell and identify the poison that was used to murder the victims, without having to be very close to them, this saved her in the trial after she performed a test for the jurors. At one point she saw the poison laid out on her bed, someone had attempted to poison her, she sees this as a wisp of smoke. Fern is immune to all poisons.
It’s a thrilling page-turner, you won’t look at all those pretty plants the same way again.
With each novel, Dale Mayer introduces us to a new amazing character, this new installment in the series was no different. In Seeds of Malice, we meet Dr. Fern Geller, a famed Botanist, who's interest lies in cultivating plants that kill; she studies the effects of poisonous herbs and plant on the human nervous system.
This is the 11th book in the Psychic Visions Series, I’ve read and loved them all. There are a few characters that are almost always in all the books, Stefan Kronos and Dr. Maddy are two of my favorites, I’m always hoping that they’ll show up.
Fern has had a traumatic childhood, no one knows what she’s been through as a child, she hides it all, some of it even from herself. Wait until you read what her parents did to her (seriously disturbing).

This one is a serious mind-bender, trying to figure out who was behind all the murders, framing fern. At first, I was sure I knew, then “wham” Dale Mayer throws a nice big twisty curve at you. You can’t put the book down now because you just have to know, who the asshole(s) could possibly be.
A psychic ability that kills by inhaling her breath. That’s just terrifying.
Who would think of such a psychic ability, only Dale Mayer can surprise with such a new unique ability; poison via plants. Amazing, just amazing.
She can see, smell and identify the poison that was used to murder the victims, without having to be very close to them, this saved her in the trial after she performed a test for the jurors. At one point she saw the poison laid out on her bed, someone had attempted to poison her, she sees this as a wisp of smoke. Fern is immune to all poisons.
It’s a thrilling page-turner, you won’t look at all those pretty plants the same way again.

This is the 11th book in the Psychic Visions Series, I’ve read and loved them all. There are a few characters that are almost always in all the books, Stefan Kronos and Dr. Maddy are two of my favorites, I’m always hoping that they’ll show up.
Fern has had a traumatic childhood, no one knows what she’s been through as a child, she hides it all, some of it even from herself. Wait until you read what her parents did to her (seriously disturbing).

Fern has returned home, though she soon starts questioning that decision. The person she had returned to save, her boss and friend, Reggie, after receiving a letter threatening him, is missing. It isn't long before Fern is once again embroiled in a situation not of her making. See, she fled months prior after more or less being accused, by her ex-boyfriend, Derek, of numerous murders. Fern, of course, was innocent then, as she is now, but his accusations hurt, as did the actions of her boyfriend, London, an FBI agent that not only didn't defend her, but also believed Derek, his brother. London, who Fern's soul knew was her mate, seemingly abandoned her.

As if Fern Geller being charged with murder, but acquitted, isn't enough, she has been betrayed by the one she thought was on her side, no matter what, her lover. Then her friends avoid her. That would be enough to make anyone run and run fast and she did. She goes in search of an answer, but ends up for six months at the Garden of Death. She is searching for answers. She goes back to her previous job only to find herself, once again, being looked at as a suspect. It didn't seem to matter she had been acquitted before. She was looked upon as a suspect once again. She had only one person to depend on, at least she thinks she can, and that is the one she had been in love with. Her once lover, London, is glad she's back and wants to mend their broken relationship. But with Fern being, once again, looked at for murder, how will Logan make things right? Fern is a hurt soul, lots of pain and heartache in her life. But she has a special power that possibly will help her through this. Will she be able to find it in her heart to trust Logan and a few of her psychic friends?
This book is the 11th in the series and can be read alone.You might want to read some of the previous books since some characters in this book were in previous books. It might give a background on some of the characters. Even if you don't read any of the others first, you won't be lost as the book stands alone very well. I do feel you will, after reading this one, go back to some of the previous books. The author gives you suspense, much anticipation, mystery along with the psychic. OF course, there is that thing called LOVE. The book showed that even though people may have a special something about them, even they go through some bad times and bad things happen. But these characters grow with those bad things. They overcome fear and go on with their lives. As you turn the pages, you try to figure out who 'dun' it. I was rather surprised when I found out. I thought I had it figured out, but I was way off.
Romance is a small part of this book. It's more about the mystical psychic powers and the mystery.The characters are so believable and you can see where this could actually happen. So count on getting hooked on this book. The author definitely engages you and doesn't let go.

She studies poisonous plants in order to learn all they can do and come up with positive ways to use them. She was recently acquitted of murder by poison and is bitter at the lack of support from everyone she thought knew her, especially her boyfriend, London. London is an FBI agent investigating new cases of death by poison, just as Fern returns from a 6-month stint out of the country to escape the negativity.
>There is a strange backstory involving London’s brother, but the most horrific backstory ever is the one Fern finally reveals to London. Fern was kept as a prisoner since she was 2, up until her parents died when she was 16. She was experimented on with various poisons and kept in a locked basement her entire young life. As Fern discovers her parents’ notes on her, she can tell how monstrous their treatment really was. London becomes more protective as he really falls for Fern.
>There is the paranormal element in this book, as is expected in the series. Stephan pops in and out of Ferns brain, reminding me a bit of Yoda. Stephen imparts advice given in riddles and sometimes I felt his presence wasn’t necessary. A huge plot point that was over looked was the fact of London secretly working for the drug company. This company plays a major role in the deaths being investigated and in Fern’s tortured life. London’s activity with the company is never really addressed, not is Fern confronted with the reality that her second chance at love looks like he is seemingly working with the enemy.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the book 4 stars. The characters were well developed, but some of the plot points were over looked or were way too confusing. The end of the book has a lot of paranormal astral traveling that makes the actual action hard to decipher.

Fern Geller is a PhD botanist who's been working in England at the Garden of Death. Her specialty is poisonous plants and before leaving the US had been working to find antidotes for them. Her interest in those plants earned her the nickname Dr. Death. Now she's returned and looking for the director of the Conservatory Reginald Drover. She informed him she needed to talk to him when she landed but hadn't yet heard back.
As she starts her search for the elusive man she runs into a tour group and speaks with her friend Brittany who's leading the tour.
She learns there have been a couple of deaths at here that have caused issues for funding. What she doesn't expect is to run into a couple of FBI agents in the coffee room near Reggie's office. One of them informs her Reggie is missing and not just for an hour or two. When she sees the other, London, she wasn't thrilled either. In those agonizing days of her trial he hadn't helped, he believed what his brother Derek was saying and in spite of the fact they loved each other, he stayed away.
Fern's next interaction with London was in the backyard of Reggie's home as she backed away from the porch, she smelled the poison and wasn't going any closer.
We met FBI agent Grant Summer in 'Hide'n Go Seek', in this book Stefan has asked him to talk to Fern. She has an extreme dislike for the FBI and police for the way she was treated. She has an odd sense of déjà vu as bodies start turning up. To add even more angst neither Reggie or Derek can be located.
Thankfully the times of death put her with solid alibis but the use of poison and the connections of the deceased to the conservatory have Fern with London's help re-examining her past.
I love the way Stefan has helped Fern in the past and the way Grant steps in to help as well.
Twists and turns, suspense and intrigue and a rekindled romance that simmers then sizzles.
Just two more books and I'm caught up! I started this series on book 14.

This book is a fantastic addition to this series and just when I think that Dale has run out of a mysterious psychic ability she finds something else to completely blow my mind.. We also get quite a bit of Stefan and Dr Maddy in this book and also a peck into an unknown family relationship (Grant and Drew Sutherland) that I feel will play out in the not too distant future.

Does he believe Fern when she is yet again caught up in mysterious murders?
Or does he point the finger and agree with his peers that she is guilty of these crimes?
There are a few twists to this story and just when you think you’ve got it all figured out…. BAM no you don’t because that person is dead now too.
I could go on for hours about this book but I feel that if I do so I will ruin it for all of you that really do need to read it for yourselves.
I will say that you will be completely mind blown by this ability the Fern has.

I absolutely love this book!
Our heroine had a unique psychic ability, one very original that I never read before in other psychic-related novels. Well, there were some usual psychic ability, but here there was some more. That alone hooked me up good.
It seems like I jumped right into the middle of a long stretch crisis and in a way, it was. Felt a bit lost in the beginning, but Ms. Mayer way of story telling was very good. She gave us layer by layer of the background story, made me keep reading to know the full extent of the story. Some people who love a very chronological order of a story might not like it, but for me, it’s a welcome variation.
Aside from the mystery of who-dunnit, there’s a palpable suspense atmosphere throughout the book. Kept me on the edge of my seat and “what’s-next” curiosity. Some twists and turns, the villain’s point of view (though we don’t know who was the villain), and kept me guessing who the villain up to the end.
I also love the main characters’ (Fern “Dr. Death” Geller and London Behring) relationship building. They were once lovers that separated through betrayal. So I loved that their second relationship was not instantaneous, but built up brick by brick instead. Yes, they still love each other, but London had to attain Fern’s trust slowly, proved it to her through actions. I really enjoyed this romance part. Nothing felt rushed nor unbelievable.
Excellent read, and I absolutely would recommend this book to any romance-suspense lovers, especially if you like a bit psychic twist in your book.

I don't normally read PNR books only because I figured they may be to way out there for me but I was very pleasantly surprised with this read as in I couldn't put it down once I started. Fern has a special ability and more of her abilities are growing stronger since she returned to the States. She went away after she was acquitted of murder and many people hated her because she got off but she also ran away from a man, London, who happened to be the brother of her ex fiancée. London is an FBI agent and when another person goes missing and another dead body is found, people she knew, he is assigned to her case. Little does the killer know that she had an alibi during these recent events and London believes in her innocence. There are a few things still standing in their way, secrets, more killings, her not trusting anyone but London chips away at her little by little and what unfolds between them.....magical.
A great great read filled with suspense, mystery and love. I really enjoyed the mystery part trying to figure out who did it but then there are twists and turns that I didn't see coming which made me enjoy it even more. There are also characters that I'm assuming are from the other books but I didn't feel lost when reading which was also another bonus. I also enjoyed Fern and London and the drama that was in the book was about what was happening around them and little drama between the two and their relationship....refreshing. Will I read another PNR book by Dale Mayer....ABSOLUTELY.

So after being acquitted she ran from her past to continue to learn everything she can about poisonous plants doing a six-month contract at the Garden of Death. When she returns to the same conservatory she worked at before, the new boss is missing and several other men are dead so of course, she is put firmly back into the crosshairs. London Behring is an FBI agent and seeing Fern again he has no idea why and how she had ever been made a murder suspect. But then he also is wondering how she was acquitted of all of the charges too. There is also a mystery as to why she has come back to the scene of the crime at the perfect time to become a murder suspect again as well as how he can stay free of her charms as he is finding her impossible to exist.
This was a great story that had all the necessary elements in vast quantities - murders, mystery, drama, danger, a love story and underpinning much of it was psychic skills and abilities involving some of the main characters of this series. I loved the relationship between Fern and London and the way that their relationship built and developed. The mystery and the murders were a multi-levelled and complicated story that took some careful unpicking to work out and resolve. Well written and easy to read/understand, I loved the story and definitely ignored parts of real life so I could read more of this and find out who was behind the various murders. Contains a little sexual content.

Overview: A new Psychic Visions story with a new twist! I really could not think of any new Psychic skills but Ms. Mayer again surprises me. The heroine has a special affinity with Poisonous plants! Very creative and very well used in the story line! We again get to see some of our favorite characters from the older books: Stefan, Dr. Maddy and others! Several played a big role.
Maturity Level: Mostly Low Key but some nice love scenes.
What I liked the most...
- The new psychic talent - Poison Plants
- The fact that the Hero, London was willing to say he was sorry and screwed up!
- The Suspense... At least 3 twists and turns to keep you guessing
- Seeing the other characters.. while you do not have to have read the other 10 (YES 10!) books in the series, its more fun if you do!
- Nice romance.. she did not forgive him immediately he had to earn her trust and rebuild the relationship.
What I liked the least..
- The POV changes from different characters and I would just like to see maybe a couple of blank lines or something between the changes. Sometimes I am reading and don't realize it's changed and have to go back and re-read. Maybe I am just getting old!!

What I liked the least..
- The POV changes from different characters and I would just like to see maybe a couple of blank lines or something between the changes. Sometimes I am reading and don't realize it's changed and have to go back and re-read. Maybe I am just getting old!!

WOW!!!
I love to read Dale Mayer Physic books starting with Maddy's Floor I have been hooked, just finishing Seeds of Malice I was stunned with who/whom were setting Fern up I thought it was just one but with the way Dale Mayer pulls you into her books you can't let it go till the end and once there you are saying " what just happened".
If anything you need to read her books they're going to pull you in and you'll find out how much you're going to want to read all her books of this series.
These books have a little of romance but the mystery of physic tendencies in each character has you wanting more and more info. The characters are so believable and than you questioning yourself as they've questioning themselves as to whether they've gone crazy or not but Dale Mayer pulls you in and you believe a little.
If anything the series is just wonderful each character so believable Each story so gripping that you will have to read to the end without having a break just to see if you figured out the bad guys and you would be wrong for Dale Mayer always gets you at the end... now I'm going to be waiting til Eye of Falcon comes out in January 2018 it's gonna be a long wait ....but I can

**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**
This was amazing! Engaging from the first page, right up to the last! The awesome thing about Ms. Mayer's books, is the talent she has for creating a unique mystery. Right when you think you have it figured out...you're wrong!!! I love it because it makes me want to devour the book in one sitting just to see who the culprit is.
In this book, one of the culprits is fairly obvious but the other one? Complete shock! Of course right before London figures out who the stalker/killer is, we already know..but its literally like seconds before it even comes out! That makes for wonderful reading!
Loved both Fern and London's characters. She was so stoic and hardcore, she didn't give law enforcement a second chance, was just as hard on them as they were on her but at least she was justified in her hatred...police weren't. Still with her horrible childhood, I feel Fern grew up to be a very decent human being.
Overall..this was another amazing read in this quirky yet mystery enshrouded series! Loved it and look forward to book 12!!

Never underestimate the imagination that comes from author Dale Mayer. Her stories grab the reader right from the blurb and pull you into a world that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Lets face it, a botanist who works will poisonous plants dubbed "Dr. Death" is going to grab even the most finicky reader. There is a lot of different things going on in this storyline and several twists and turns to keep you on your toes. The reader is kept informed by the different viewpoints of the story enhancing the mystery of who is really in control. This author is smart, she gives you several clues without spilling the beans laying false trails to keep you thinking. Trust, betrayal, secrets, doubts and forgiveness add a depth to the storyline that will touch your emotions and leave your head spinning as the past and the present finally meet. I am never disappointed when I read one of Ms. Mayer's stories and this one was truly an awesome read.

The Psychic Visions have been one my favorites since I started reading Dale Mayers books, it's nice to read different stories with different plots using some of the same characters and introduceing new characters. Her books should come with a warning says highly addictive makes you not want to put it down and stay up late. The characters are so believable and are so close to real situations.
Doctor Fern Geller is alone in a world of judgment and persecution after being tried for murder she didn't commit and being found not guilty.
She runs to England only to have to come back to American soil because of death threat and by the time she gets back Reggie the head of the conservatory is missing and a security guard dead from poison.
Only one of the investigating FBI agents London is still in love with her and wants to make up for the fact that he believed the rumors that she killed when she didn't do it.
It's a must read of the whole series just to know who some of the characters are.

Fern was a botanist. She followed in her parents footsteps studying poison plants and finding antidotes. At least she did until she was charged with 4 counts of murder. During the trial, her lawyer proved that she could smell poison from a distance and that helped acquit her of the murder charges. Her life left in shambles, she takes a 6-month position in London.
London Behring is an FBI agent that was just starting a relationship with Fern when his parents were killed in a plane crash and his brother started physically deteriorating. Caught up in family problems, he didn't realize the Fern was going to trial until it was too late to do anything.

Full of twists and turns, "Seeds of Malice", takes you on Fern's sad and scary journey. Her childhood is heartbreaking, only leading into a challenging adulthood where she's nicknamed "Dr. Death" and was tried and acquitted for a murder she didn't commit and now a year later she is back and the killer is after her. The only shining light going for her is her rekindling her relationship with London, once she forgives him. Together the unweave the web of deceit that is Fern's life. This book seemed like a quick read, but surprisingly took me longer than I expected to finish, because it is full of mysterious turns. The psychic element is interesting and keeps me interested in prior stories and those to come. I felt that this story left me with lots of questions, but all of the variety to keep me interested in more. I rate this story 5 hearts.

Some people wait with so much hope and excitement for their favorite author's to release the new book that has been in big demand and felt like it took forever just to not only see if the author out done themselves on the new book but also to see if it's better than the last. The thing about Author Dale Mayer's books is you never have to wonder if the next book is going to be awesome because it just is. All her books are unique and different. Seeds Of Malice did not disappoint at all, I enjoyed the new characters and the new powers. As always I finished it quickly and happily! Sadly the next book in A psychic Vision series is not due out until 2018, wish makes my soul a tinny tiny bit sad, because this series is honestly one of my favorites and let's be honest, who likes to wait for something even if the wait means a better book... ;) I definitely would recommend this book and series.

Another brilliant book in this page turning series!
All alone in the world, and returning to the United States after absolute persecution.... Only to find the killer is still out for blood in more ways than one. Wasn't being framed the first time enough? Within hours of landing on American soil to her new job she learns once again the head of the conservatory is missing and a security guard dead from poison. Cue pointing fingers.... And mark! Yup instantaneous guilt according to everyone else.... And surprise! One of the investigating FBI agents is the one man she opened her heart to only to be betrayed by him thinking her guilty of murder. Can she really go through all of this again? All alone in the world Fern braces herself for yet another onslaught.... Take the ride with her and see what happens while her talents get stronger and people come after her...

Fern thought she had been away long enough for people to forget about Dr Death, however it turns out it wasn't long enough and someone is still trying to pin murders by deadly plants on her. This time around it appears there may be some support on her side and as she works along side London who she briefly dated before everything went down hill they both wonder where things could lead with them as well as the killer. I just loved the characters as well as the interwoven story of characters from the other books which keeps you turning the page and needing to know what will happen next. I think Ferns back story and how it is still haunting her to this day really made the story and there were plenty of twists and surprises right up to the end.

Ok. Good story. I liked Fern and London. Hated that Steve was a bad guy but kind of suspected it. 3 bad guys actually. Everybody wanted to kill Fern.
Now, I’ve got a couple of issues. Names were changed with previous characters. Drew Sutherland? Huh? Alexis (Alex from Garden of Sorrows) is married to Kevin Sutherland. When did his name change to Drew? Also, Kali is married to Grant Summers not Grant Sutherland. Did I miss something? Plus from Tuesday’s Child you have Brandt Sutherland. Annnd.... Dr. Mandy is with Drew McNeil. That’s the only Drew I’ve read about. ???
A timeline with characters names and spouses needs to be kept. If you read all books this is just confusing and wrong!
I noticed in a previous book Stefan’s gf Celina’s name was changed to Mina. Come on. This should have been explained.

Fern was abused and betrayed by the people who should love her most in the world, to recover from this and be a functioning member of society shows just how strong she is. Having escaped one nightmare she finds herself in the middle of another one, she is being framed, but who hates her enough to target her repeatedly?
London knows loving Fern will cause problems with his brother, but even he couldn't have expected the reaction they got, now he is stuck trying to win back Fern's trust whilst solving multiple murders and trying to protect her...but once again betrayal comes from someone close, someone they both trust and they pay the price.
As a parent this book is haunting, as a reader it is addictive, it's a combination that leaves you uneasy but unable to put it down.

This is the newest book in the phenomenal Psychic Vision series. This book explores how the psychic ability can interact with plants. I would have read all night the first night if I hadn't needed to sleep. I finished it the next night at 1:30 am. It is so exciting and interesting, including mystery, intrigue, love, and plenty of surprises. It had so many twists and turns that I was kept guessing who the killer was until the end. I highly recommend this book and all books by Dale Mayer.
Although, part of a series you can read this book as a stand alone. But try to at least read "Tuesday's Child" by Dale Mayer. That way you will recognize some of the character's mentioned in the book. I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.

First time reading from the author.
Wow! This story kept you going. I thought the story was well written and characters well developed. I didn’t feel like I needed to read the others to read this one. I do want to read the other books in the series before this one, since I loved this story so much.
The mystery, twist, turns, and suspects was wow. I kept thinking it was someone and boy was I wrong. It was a shocker to see who it really was and who was connected to it all. I thought the story had a steady pace to keep the story going and it kept my interested to the end. I’m still shocked on everything I read in this story. I am just like wow, blown away. I will be stalking the authors book shelf for a long time.
