I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

Another great work done by Maryann
After many cases the saints have solved we finally discover who this mysterious helper is. Luke is the computer guy who is able to hack and follow leads on the computer but along the way a mysterious person helped in the saints work. Luke never knew if it was a female or male but no judgment on his side he was just glad to find this person on his side. Now that most of the saints have found love he feels left out and wants to find his soul mate. In comes Charlie aka the mysterious helper aka Charlotte who happens to part of the current case they are on. When they meet its cute because they are both in a way shy but they have most of it in common like their savy tech side. Trying to solve the case of the murder of her friend but also solving the case of illegal organ transplant they get closer to solving it but all it took was piecing the pieces together. This story is filled with great mystery and some bada$$ hacking skills, Charlie is a great heroine because she is shy but still able to hold her own and stand up to others.

Discover Love is Book 9 & the latest installment in the Saints Protection & Investigations series. Each book is a standalone story but the characters from previous books are all involved in the stories and it's great to get caught up with their lives.
I've been a fan of this series from the start. I love the elements of danger, mystery, and suspense that go along with a really nice, sweet romance!
Discover Love is Luke's story. Luke is the Saints' computer expert, a little less outgoing, and a bit nerdy. When he is approached by Charlie, a contact he only knew through the computer, he and the Saints become enmeshed in an investigation that deals with the Chinese mafia, a possible rogue FBI agent, illegal human organ harvesting and danger at every turn.
While navigating the dangerous investigation, Luke has to also navigate this new romance that seems to have turned his whole world upside down!

I waited anxiously for Luke's book and As usual Maryann never lets us down.
Luke and Charlie's book was everything I had hoped it to be. I was so intrigued throughout the series to find out about Luke's secret helper.
It was so suspenseful and was so glad that Luke got a little action and led the investigation.
This book was so good. I didn't want it to finish.
Thank you Maryann for another awesome book.

This was by far the most intense book of this entire series. I spent two days freaking out to my best friend over this.
So Luke, the Penelope Garcia of the group (yes, I've compared every character to a Criminal Minds character), has got a lot on his plate. Basically being in their hacker has led him to an ulcer and a despondent mood. He loves what he does and he loves the Saints, but he's missing something. The only highlight is this guy, Charlie, that's helping him find information the group desperately needs. Eli, a hacker, was found murdered and the Saints need to figure out why.
So when Charlie shows up inside his house, he was unprepared. He couldn't get how Charlie got through his security system and he REALLY couldn't get how she wasn't a he.
Charlotte "Charlie" Trivett has been on the run for five months. After witnessing her friend Eli's murder, she knew what he uncovered was big. Without anybody to trust, she traveled all along the east coast until she was found. Knowing she needed help, she went to her one source she knew could help her: Luke. For over a year she's helped him uncover code she secretly designed, but she's actually known Luke since her college days. As a mousy freshman she secretly crushed on the older student that knew was out of her league. Now with him in her life, she wants him - and more than just in a save-my-life kind of way.
So while I really liked their love story, I did think certain aspects flopped a bit (), which is why I knocked off a star.
However, this book was INTENSE. I loved the added drama with Penny and David, two runaways whose lives are endangered. They were the characters I texted my friend over throughout reading the book. .
This book was also cool in that it's clearly been in the works since I think book 4 when Charlie started messaging Luke. We finally got to see them get together!
And as for Luke? The nerd boy?
Yes. Yes I do!

I feel like this series is a diluted version of McCloud and Friends. The author may not have had that goal in mind when she was writing the series but you can't help but compare the two series. Despite it being less action packed and less intense, it was enjoyable. Will read the rest.

Discover Love was a book that I wanted to get stuck into from the First Chapter. When you read a Maryann Jordan book you wait to see where she is taking you this time. What will you learn or see differently from today onwards. Not many Authors have this ability but she most definitely is one of them that can change perspectives when you read her Books.
So as we know this is Luke’s story. Now this book had worried me because I’m so not into nerdy guys but at the same I really wanted to see how Maryann would make me Fall in love with Luke. He intrigued me and I really wanted him to see there is more to the world than sitting behind Computer screen.
Well I should never doubt again because Freaken loved and adored him. He was sweet and alpha that when it came to Charlie he knew what he wanted and never shyed away from her.
Charlie is the Girl that we have come to know off from the help she lent to Luke in previous books. She is the Tech Junki that helped him anonymously.
That’s until she got into some trouble and needed his help. Charlie and her friend came across some info not ment for them to find. That ended up causing nasty things to happen and really bad ppl were after her….
The theme in this book is not something unknown we know it happens but when you read about it, it becomes so real. ESP when involves kids. Street kids. David and Penny my heart really broke for them. They nearly fell prey to people no not people but monsters that wanted to take advantage of their unfortunate circumstances.
We all know that neither the Saints or Charlie would ever allow bad things to happen to innocent ppl let alone Kids. I enjoyed watching Charlie Flurrish with all these Gentle Giants and let’s not forget what amazing Alpha’s they are. It was also so sweet watching all the guys and their wives welcome Charlie…
I enjoy Maryann’s books because we get it all angst, Love story, Sex that would steam up any Kindle and Plenty Suspence. Grab this book and Enjoy the Journey….

A computer connection
Luke the Saints computer expert is more comfortable behind the computer than talking with women but watching all his friends fall in love he's starting to wonder if his first time will come. Charlotte has spent time in hiding after seeing her friends murder, also a computer specialist Charlotte aka Charlie has helped the saints a couple times now she's the one who needs help.
Maryann Jordan writes strong heroes who aren't scared of o fall and to protect, she also writes heroines who though can stand strong on their own appreciate their chosen Saint.

Really silly plot that was totally unrealistic, sorry.
Did I read a different book to everyone else? Parts of the plot were crazy and didn’t make sense. The beginning was really good and I really enjoyed it but as it progressed the plot became more and more unrealistic. With bad guys running around killing people and they just disappear never to be seen again. Luke and Charlie have sex constantly, and I started to skip it. I really like the characters in this series but every book has just dragged for me. Which is really sad as at the beginning they show signs of promise. That fizzled out.
************SPOILERS AHEAD*********************
Luke in the previous books was in contact with Charlie, as she helped him with cases. He always wanted to meet her but she was very secretive and wouldn’t. Until she’s in danger as she witnesses the murder of her friend. Her friend was investigating human organ traffickers, and when he reaches out to the FBI the traffickers kill him for it. Charlie moves across the country, hiding from the people who want to kill her, until they find her one night and after some karate lessons, she manages to disarm them both, tie them up and leave them at the side of the road. 😂😂 Yeah of course she did.
So she goes to stay with Luke and she’s an amazing computer whizz that finds things no one else can, not even Luke who in previous books is a computer whizz. Everyone is astounded by how amazing she is….. yawn…. So she’s in so much danger that she drives around by herself, stays in the house on her own, falls asleep in a hammock in the garden and nothing happens!! I honestly thought she was going to be attacked in the garden but wasn’t!!!
Then the ending which was just crazy. Which I won’t spoil.

Luke Costas is a self proclaimed nerd. His parents are scholars and are very absentminded but they love him. His neighbor took him in and taught him karate. Now all grown up, Luke graduated from MIT and now works for the Saints Protection & Investigations. He is their computer guy who has never really been out in the field. He has always been the one behind the computer. He has had some help from a mysterious person who seems to know what he is doing before he does.
"Charlie" has been helping Luke with different cases here and there. She is helping a friend and winds up needing help. She turns to Luke and the rest of the Saints. Charlie understands Luke because they were both "nerds" and were a bit bullied growing up, they discover they have more in common as the case progresses.
The case is full and twists and turns and we meet the Saints new FBI contact. Ironically is much like Monty. Luke is put in charge of the case and he finds out that he likes the fieldwork. He also enjoys getting to know Charlie better. There are also two young teens in the story that are strong and loyal to each other. I found myself rooting for them.
Luke and Charlie are so good together and so much alike. She is welcomed into the family but trust doesn't come easily to Jack. Charlie is a strong, smart, caring person who fits right in with the rest of the group.
This was a fast paced read with lots of action and twists and turns. Can't wait to read the next one.

Charlotte Trivett “Charlie” is the unknown cyber-assistant, who showed up a few months ago, offering small tips that have helped Luke gather the information needed to aid in the Saints missions.
Anticipation high, I couldn’t put the book down as I turned each page, eager to see what would happen next. Charlie shows up out of the blue asking Luke for help to figure out who killed her friend Elli and who might be coming after her next? Luke and the Saints, concerned for Charlie’s safety, take on the mission and work tirelessly to solve this mystery. What follows is another awesome story. Is this Luke’s HEA? Will Charlie make room in her life for this vulnerable, protective overall badass Alpha? I think you will enjoy watching the love grow between these two as it leads to some tender “spicy” scenes throughout the book.

This is one that I had to dive into. Luke has already helped in many now it is his time to shine with the mystery helper from cyber space. When that person steps out of space into this space it is on and I am now chained to the story. When things that have occurred start to tie together the intrigue in this one will sky rocket. It is not like Luke is a total stranger to her after all because they did go to the same school with Charlie noticing him. She does do the unthinkable or should say that anyone would be able to so she could face him. Then get the others into the mix of this murder mystery and you have one turbulent ride that is guaranteed to grip you, shake you and give you lots of adventure filled drama heated to the core with romance. One thing I love to do in a series is to get to touch base sort to speak with previous characters to peak in on what is going on too. Sometimes too it is the intense quiet type that touch the deepest core like Luke can do too. I also did not put this one down until they had brought it all in with the answers that were needed but most important got my fill of hot scorching love.

In this latest installment of the Saints Protection & Investigation series, we finally get to know Luke's mysterious contact which had helped the Saints in solving some cases in the previous books. Just like Luke, Charlie is a computer nerd, and now she has gotten involved in a criminal conspiracy and desperately needs help to stay safe.
Luke and Charlie are made for each other. No opposites attract here, but two soulmates who quickly realize that they have found the perfect match in each other. I liked this straightforwardness and sincerity in their relationship. But be assured, Luke is not a typcial nerd... and neither is Charlie, so things get really hot and steamy!
The suspense story line is neatly interwoven with Luke and Charlie's blossoming relationship and keeps you guessing almost until the end about what really happened in the criminal underworld.

This book is a great addition to the series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend to read the books in order for maximum enjoyment.

The suspense story line is neatly interwoven with Luke and Charlie's blossoming relationship and keeps you guessing almost until the end about what really happened in the criminal underworld.

This book is a great addition to the series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend to read the books in order for maximum enjoyment.

I have been waiting for Luke's story for what seems like forever. Let me tell you it was so worth the wait. I love and adore all the Saints Protection men but I had a soft spot for Luke and really wanted to find out who was his mysterious helper throughout the series. Charlie was everything I had hoped for and more. The chemistry between the two was off the charts. I absolutely adore this couple and dare I say they are my new favorite couple in this series. I love that we got to see another side of Luke in this book...he is just as overprotective and alpha as the rest of the men. I loved the storyline of this book, it kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. Now it's Marc's turn to find him a special someone.
I highly recommend this book and the whole series to anyone who would enjoy a hot, steamy, suspense romance. You will not be disappointed. Another 5 star read from the very talented Maryann Jordan. Well done.

The 9th book in the series and Ms. Jordon has hit a high note. The story line is so well developed and thought out with characters that are likeable, in fact Luke and Charlotte Trivett are downright loveable. When you add the Russian mafia, illegal organ harvesting and human trafficking of the homeless and runaways, you have the makings of a Great Military Love Story that stays with you.
Luke Costas has a MIT degree and is their technical guru. For the past couple of months or so, a mystery person has been helping Luke by breaking into the Saint’s computer system and providing the right help at the right time.
When the mystery person shows up in Luke’s living room and explains that she is in grave danger, he and the Saint’s know they will protect her at all costs. Touchy subject matter but very well researched and another 5 star read by Maryann Jordan
I can't imagine what Charlie went through all those months alone on the run and trying to figure out who killed her friend but had no one she could trust. Even knowing Luke was one of the good guys, she couldn't go to him until she had some kind of proof of what Eli was killed for. When she finally goes to Luke, she has to put er trust in him and the Saints that they will believe her and help her. While they are investigating together Charlie and Luke explore their growing feelings for each other. When they uncover a connection between Eli's death and the Chinese Mafia, there are questions about who is involved and what are they really involved in? Is Agent Wang really involved with the mafia? Can Luke and the Saints keep Charlie safe? Will Nick become their new FBI contact or is it just a one time deal because the Saints don't have to follow the same rules he does?

YAY!!! Luke's story! I have been waiting on this one it seems like forever! I just knew this one was going to be special and I was not wrong! New favorite!!! My VERY favorite! I know I think that about all the Saints men in this series but Luke is my absolute favorite! He's alpha, sweet, protective, hot and a nerd! Love it!!! Charlie is so perfect for him! The story blew my mind! Had my heart racing and almost in tears! Made me feel all the feels! Maryann Jordan just keeps getting better and better with this series! Her stories pull you in and don't let go till the end! And I was nowhere near ready for this story to end! A definite re-read is in my future for this one! This is the most awesome group of friends and coworkers I have ever read in a series! I want to be part of this group!

WOW! Another fascinating story. Luke finally got his story! It is intriguing that his love is actually the gal who helped him on a couple of cases but she decided that she finally needed help so she goes to Luke. Charlie witnessed the murder of her friend and goes into hiding but gets lonely. The sparks fly when these two get together. Two geniuses are brought together to solve one of the many trafficking cases in this country. They save quite a few people in the process. The Saints come to the rescue once again when one of their loved ones is in danger. Once the threat is neutralized, Luke and Charlie find their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Maryann! I would recommend this book.

EXCELLENT STORY!!!!!
What a wonderful mystery. This book kept me riveted and engrossed. It was excellent and I couldn't put it down. It is 2:30 AM but this story was worth losing sleep over. The twists and turns, suspense and red herrings were so cleverly tucked throughout the book!! When a story has the reader on pins and needles and urging the characters on to notice the clues you know it is a well written book! The romance between Luke and Charlie was heartwarming and sexy. I always like the camaraderie, support and encouragement the Saints team gives each other. It is a real treat the way that Maryann Jordan always gives you a very welcome epilogue and update on all the various couples and their families! I highly recommend this book... It's really a 10!! 😁

I was waiting for Luke's story
Luke & Charlotte were tailor made for each other. Hot Computer nerds. This author does a good job of not making her female characters do stupid things. So I was a little surprised that Charlotte went into a building she knew was dangerous and only called Luke & left a message. Come on-- how about all the other Saints?! Call for backup! I did enjoy this book -- something about geeks I totally love. (Am I the only one tired of scenes where characters have just finished cooking & then get distracted by sex & the food gets cold, after they've said how hungry they were?!)

Luke and Charlie
I’ve been waiting for this one for a while and WOW. Luke finally meets his mystery cyber friend after she breaks into his house in the middle of the night. Charlie is a beautiful nerd and on the run after witnessing her best friend’s murder. The Saints just started working on the case and the two computer geniuses work to find who murdered Charlie’s friend. There are lots of suspects possibly even a FBI Agent. This book has lots of investigating, we learn more about Luke and his absent minded professor parents, a wonderful neighbor, a teenage homeless couple, the Saints and their women, and lots of steam. I loved this one as another Saint finds his woman.

I absolutely loved Luke's story. This book has drama, suspense and hot steamy romance. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't put it down. We finally get to meet the mysterious person that has assisted Luke and the Saints in past missions. Luke and Charlie are the perfect match for each other. I enjoyed the chemistry between Luke and Charlie. I enjoyed the storyline and its twists and turns. It's a must read. This is a great addition to the Saints series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Honestly not sure how I felt about this one. So many holes tbh and the whole thing with Lin wang and Lisa Wang, the way Lin yelled at her about using her badge, I feel she knew her or was related to her due to her resembling Lin being put in there. Either a huge plot hole or is gonna be used later on at which point I won’t care. And how Charlie got into their systems to help in different things ect just kinda didn’t make much sense tbh. Idk, I gave it 3 stars but it’s probably more of a 2 and 1/2 for me.

Nice read
I've read several of the books in this series, some of which I liked better than others. This was a middle-of-the-road book. It was a nice read. I liked that it was a little different from the "formula" that some of these follow. There were a couple of loose ends that were left hanging--like whatever happened to the two men that Charlie left duct taped under a tree, and where, exactly, did they fit into the mystery? But it was a nice distraction for a rainy weekend.

Would give this book 5stars for the the mystery of the story cause get me every time and for Luke and the boys but I just couldn't get into Charlie/Charlotte I just really like her attitude too much. I Love a strong, smart, common sense with self-preservation woman in what in read but no for me😒 she just rub me the wrong way and no one snaps at Monty #sorrynotsorry 🙄 but overall it was still a great read

Interesting characters
I wish this series wax a little more focused on the storyline than the sex scenes. Luke and Charlie are interesting characters. The story has some very suspenseful scenes. I was very frustrated in a couple of sections where the story had me sitting on the edge of my seat for Penny and David then it cut to a sex scene. It was crazy. I like Charlie's determination to help no matter the danger to herself.

Another great story in the Saints Protection & Investigations series! Saints computer guru Luke assists Charlie who is on the run since witnessing a murder. Her intelligence and mad skills on internet are useful to the Saints during investigation of her situation. Their story is suspenseful, exciting and romantic as the clues are followed.

What an amazing book! Charlie was cool, even though shy and Luke finally got some of the spotlight at Saints. The topic of the investigation was heartbreaking and made me cheer when the good guys "saved the day". It just goes to show you what can happen when you put your minds together to solve a problem. I look forward to book 10.
