Life is never easy but when her family is killed by a serial killer — one who is never caught — it becomes almost impossible.
As she grows up, Tavi works to appear normal while hiding in law enforcement, determined to get answers and if she can — extract revenge.
Jericho is a hunter. Now he's caught the scent of an old prey, a serial killer he's been one step behind the whole way. Then Jericho catches wind of the killer's next victim... Which is none other than a detective with a little too impressive track record for getting her man.
Only she wants nothing to do with him. Or his protection. And he can't leave her alone...
Sparks fly from the first meet — in more ways than one.
But when energy flares it also attracts. And the killer realizes he can kill two enemies in one swoop. He's cleaning up. Turning a new leaf.

Into the Abyss by Dale Mayer is book 10 in her Psychic Visions Series.
This was the first book I've read by this author and I probably should have read the previous ones as at times I felt a bit "lost" in this story. There were characters that made an appearance that I didn't know where they fitted in
However, this is a minor "moan" and it didn't stop me from enjoying the story. I found the main characters, Tavika Bantrell, homicide detective with psychic powers which she's trying to keep hidden from everyone, is suddenly thrown back in time...when her family had been murdered and their killer never found and Jericho Sands, a psychic hunter, who contacts her about the serial killer, known as the GHOST, very interesting.
Despite him offering her his help, Tavi is determined not to have anything to do with Jericho. I enjoyed the premise of this series....psychic abilities to help in finding killers and bringing them to justice.
Suspense, twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end.
After finishing this book, I am definitely going to read the entire series next.
I was given a free copy by the author for an honest review.
Wow, this series just keeps getting better with each new addition. If you are a fan of Ms. Mayer you know she writes stories that not only entertain but captivate you right from the start. Awesome character's pave the way for a complex suspense storyline that is sure to keep you on your toes. While there is a romance it is not the main focus of the storyline. It seemed to me that the underlying themes was facing your fears, believing in yourself and accepting who you are. As the tale develops we see things from more than one perspective, the killer, Tavi and Jericho. While Tavi and Jericho search for our allusive bad guy, he in turn is watching them keeping the reader engaged in trying to figure out who he is before our main characters do. The overlapping of characters from previous books keeps the connection strong enforcing that sometimes having others to rely on is a good thing. The author throws in several twists and turns enhancing the plot and leaving you revising your judgement on who is the guilty party. This is definitely a page turner, so if you are like me and have to finish what you start reading leave plenty of time as once you start you will not be able to put it down. I volunteered to read this story for my honest opinion, 5 stars all the way.
This is the tenth book in the Psychic Visions series.
At the tender age of twelve Tavika (Tavi) Bantrell become the lone surviving member of a psychic family murdered by a serial killer who was never caught. Though severely traumatized she survived and now twenty years later she’s a Detective for the Portland Police with an impressive track record. She has no life outside of work, her sole focus: to find answers behind what happened to her family and exact revenge against their killer. What psychic abilities she has were developed on her own as a matter of necessity to her survival, she keeps them hidden to protect herself. That she was spared is an enigma that the ghosts of the past can’t or won’t answer but as ghosts don’t always rest neither do serial killers. Someday the killer might try to rectify the mistake of leaving her alive and she’ll be there waiting. The arrival of a psychic hunter that she feels a strong sexual attraction toward is an unwanted complication/distraction but also warns her that the time is nearing for a showdown.
Private Investigator Jericho Sands is hunting a serial killer who has eluded capture for years and the trail has led him to Portland. His precognitive abilities have shown him that the next victim is Tavika. Researching her history did not prepare him for the reality of the woman, untrained psychic abilities so strong and clearly visible to one like him and an unwanted beacon to others out to do her harm. Convincing her that he can help won’t be easy, she doesn’t trust psychics but he’s not losing this killer or her. She’s a remarkable woman with many layers besides their chemistry that draw him.
An amazing story! This was an intense, captivating psychic paranormal read that drew me in from page one with a thrilling storyline filled with lots of action and suspense and a convoluted mystery that had me guessing until the very end. The multiple points of view including that of the killer whose identity eludes the reader for so long enhanced the intrigue. Tavi and Jericho were great characters, easy to get invested in. I liked how their relationship slowly developed, the romance taking a back seat to the events transpiring which was fitting for this storyline. The resulting trauma of the heroine was so relatable, how a person could withdraw into their mind deeply to find a place of safety, setting up emotional barriers to survive which would then carry over to all aspects of their life. I loved Tavi’s Maine Coon companion. As always it’s great to see cameos from other characters in the series.
An advanced reading copy was obtained from the author.
Well, Psychic Visions series is my most favourite series of all Dale Mayer’s works. This book made a great additional to the series. The story was about two psychics, one of them very strong yet untrained. Detective Tavika Bantrell has gone through a very traumatic event as a child as her family was killed by a serial killer. Private Investigator Jericho Sands, who was also psychic hunter, has been chasing a serial killer for some times, and his ability showed him that the next victim would be Det. Tavi. They were both surprised by the explosive attraction between them, but to be together they had to defeat the demon, both from outside and inside.
As her other Psychic Visions books, this one was fast paced, suspenseful, intriguing, and sexy. Point of view from the villain’s side added to the suspense feeling. Both main characters were great, complex characters with their own demons. I was so easily related to them, made me invested in their happiness. Overall, a wonderfully enjoyable read. Psychic novel was not easy to find, especially one at this calibre.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book, and I always give honest review.
I've read a few of the psychic visions novels, but this is the first one that has had so many twist and turns in it.
Tavi was rescued with everyone else in her family was murdered. She spent years straightening out her life and become coming a detective. She knew she had some psychic talent but had always kept it close, kept it hidden as much as possible. But now the murder is back and Tavi knows her time is up. Her only hope is that she takes him with her.
Jericho has been following the Ghost for years, trying to catch him. Unfortunately his visions of the future haven't enabled him to find abd capture him. Now the visions show him something has changed and the Ghost is after Tavi. But Tavi doesn't want to listen to that, so he is left with little choice but to protect her anyway. Besides his visions tell him they end up in bed together and he can't wait.
Can Jericho and Tavi catch the Ghost, while they look for a kidnapped little girl and try to solve the murder of another teenage girl? Or will the Ghost taken them all down?
What a great read!! I haven't read many books about people with psychic abilities but this one takes the cake. It was fraught with danger as a serial killer starts cleaning up. Tavika is a cop and seems to enjoy being one. She's also psychic with some major powers being squelched somewhat unconsciously. Jericho is also psychic, but he hates the precinct and dealing with cops. And yet, he waltzes in to Tavika's to warn her that she's on the killer's list. Because he's determine to protect her, he shoves his way into her life, breaking through the walls she keeps up. But the serial killer is leaving a trail of blood with little evidence. And time is running out. This is book 10 in this series and although I have not read the entire series, I kept up with what was going on very easily.
At a young age, Tavika tragically lost her family and spent a week being held captive. Since then, she's kept everyone at a distance, making her appear standoffish, yet no one realizes it's a defense mechanism. She can't risk ever feeling that pain again. No, her family wasn't that loving and didn't treat her as they should've, but they were still hers. She makes sure her abilities aren't known by anyone. However, that means she too is unaware of just how powerful she is.
Jericho is a hunter. He's been after a particular serial killer for years and now he believes he's caught his scent again. When Jericho realizes the next intended victim is a detective, he arranges a meeting with her. He has a feeling this woman has some psychic powers, yet she acts as if she doesn't and ignores his warning.
They're both immediately attracted to one another, but she wants him to leave her alone and he can do anything but. As these two begin working together, reluctantly at first on Tavika's part, not only can't they ignore their connection, but Jericho can also see Tavika is struggling in more ways than one.
What happens when Jericho and Tavika get closer to the killer's identity? Can they stop others from becoming victims? Can Jericho keep Tavika safe? Is the serial killer they're hunting the same one that murdered Tavika's family? Is he closer than Jericho and Tavika know? Can Jericho, with Stefan's help, educate Tavika with controlling her abilities? Will Tavika ever find peace from her past? Is there a future for Jericho and Tavika?
One-click now and follow along as two people with psychic abilities, one helping the other to accept what they can do, search for a killer and discover a love that neither ever thought they'd have. Please keep in mind this is book ten in the series and while it could be read as a standalone, I suggest reading them in order for the sake of continuity.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**
Jericho is a psychic hunter, he has been after this particular serial killer for years to no avail. The Ghost was pretty much just that, devastation with no evidence.
Tavika, Tavi, is a detective, she went into this field because her family was killed by the serial killer known as the Ghost. When Jericho asks to see her, he isn't exactly subtle. He lets her know in no uncertain terms that she going to be next and she is psychic and she's more than a little attracted to him.
That in itself reins Tavika's imagination in, as she denies the whole psychic part venomously. She won't have her reputation sullied by even the hint she is anything like her family. She has buried that part of her and intends to keep it that way. That doesn't mean she has no talent, she's just not obvious about using it.
Jericho is more than a little persistent when it comes to Tavi, he's seen a bit of both of them together just as he's seen she could be the next victim. The Ghost must be stopped and she is the one who can do it. He pretty much decides to move in after getting a food delivery from her neighborhood he didn't order.
Now Tavi isn't pleased at all with this turn of events, and I really enjoyed the interaction between them, especially when her cat Solomon enters the scene.
This is a favorite scene.
Very gently she set her cup down on the table. She really wanted to throw it against the wall and scream and kick something. Preferably Jericho. “You’re telling me he was actually in your hotel, yet you didn’t see him? And you didn’t go after him?”
“No, he was at the reception desk of the hotel while I was in my room. I did not see him. And it would be very nice to go after him, but there’s a reason why he’s called the Ghost, remember?”
Of course she remembered. It was because he left no tracks and used multiple disguises. The end result was law enforcement had nothing to go on. Even if they confiscated the video cameras, if there were any, the Ghost would no longer look the way he had in the video.
“He’s been watching you.”
Her gaze flew back up to his in shock. Slowly she shook her head.
He nodded. When she shook her head again he jumped to his feet and paced the small room.
“Why is it you insist on being thickheaded and stubborn?”
“I’m thickheaded and stubborn?” she asked. “You storm into my life today with a bogus story and a crazy attitude. I have never seen you before. I don’t know you. I don’t trust you. And now you come back tonight telling me a serial killer who people have been hunting for close to twenty years is now watching me.” She snorted. “Why don’t you just crawl back into whatever hole you crawled out from and go find yourself a different hobby? Because you really suck at this one.”
He glared at her. Then smiled.
One that made her spine shiver. She studied him warily. “I don’t like the look of that smile.”
“Too bad. If you won’t listen to me, and my duty is to keep you safe, then I’m going to stay here tonight. I need a place anyway.” He walked over to the couch, bounced on it a couple of times, nodded and stretched out. “This will do just fine.”
She gasped in outrage. “Get out of my apartment.”
“No.” He laughed. “What will you do about it? Call the police?” He reached forward, grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. “I could use a good game.”
She stood fuming at the end of the couch. He was right. What was she going to do? Call the cops? Hell no. Besides, he’d just tell them a story like he told her. It would be all over the precinct tomorrow. That was the last thing she needed.
“Okay fine, I believe you. I’ll take care. Make sure I’m not being followed.” She added the last in a sarcastic tone of voice. But he wasn’t even looking at her. “Hey, did you hear me?”
“I heard you.” He flicked through the channels. Just when she was ready to scream in frustration or pick up something to toss at him Solomon strolled off her bed and walked over between them. He sat down in front of Jericho and leveled back that golden gaze at him. Jericho immediately sat up. “Holy shit.”
Interesting reaction. She watched carefully as the two made eye contact. She’d never seen Solomon act this way. Then again she didn’t bring visitors home. She had the occasional relationship, a hot and heavy weekend that never made it past the tangled sheet stage. And that was definitely not the relationship she had in mind for Jericho. No, ruthlessly she shoved the energy back down. Dear God, he was potent.
“His name is Solomon,” she said grudgingly. Jericho’s mouth opened and then snapped shut. She wasn’t sure if he was shocked at the size of Solomon or if there was something else going on. She walked around the two of them to check out Jericho’s energy. He kept a tight rein on it, holding it close against his body, like so many other psychics she knew. Hers was no different. It was dangerous to be open and friendly. She kept hers locked down tighter than most.
Solomon’s energy was exactly the same. But there was a crackle in the air, as if Solomon and Jericho were actually having a conversation.
Curious and a little mystified she sat down at the end of the couch.
“Solomon?”
The cat broke the intense connection and turned his golden eyes on her. Then he walked closer and landed in her lap, put his head up on her chest and his engine kicked in. She could do nothing else but wrap her arms around him and hold on tight.
Jericho looked at her and then his gaze slipped to Solomon and back up to her.
“How long have you had him?”
“Why?” She refused to answer his question. “Now that you know Solomon lives here, would you please just leave?”
That look in his eyes softened. “I wish I could. I really do. But now that I know the Ghost has found where you live and has studied your habits, where you shop, where you eat…” He shook his head. “There’s no way I can do that.”
“You think you’re guarding me? Protecting me?”
His grin flashed, sending little electric shots into her nerve endings. “I know you’re tough, sweetheart, but I can still beat you after three rounds.”
Immediately her feistiness surged to the surface. “You’re on.”
He laughed. “You’re so easy to manipulate.”
“No I’m not.” Inside she was ashamed. He was right. He hadn’t had to do very much, and she was already jumping at him.
Her cell phone went off then. She stood up, still holding Solomon in her arms, and walked across to pick it up from the table.
Dispatch answered, “Detective Bantrell. A second body has been found at the same house you were at earlier today.”
The dispatcher rattled off the same address. She slowly hung up the phone, questions running through her mind in an endless loop. “What the hell?” she whispered. Mayer, Dale. Into the Abyss: A Psychic Visions Novel. Valley Publishing Ltd. Kindle Locations (620-665). Kindle Edition.
As the clues trickle in Tavi finds herself questioning the things she knows, and the things she has buried. Jericho of course is pushing but he's doing it because she has to figure out the why of her past to capture the killer.
We get glimpse of what the killer is thinking throughout, it entices me to guess at the who. Of course I'm wrong.
We get to 'see' quite a bit of Stefan in this one too, he tries to temper Jericho's pushiness while also providing some insight.
Plenty of suspense and intrigue as we get to see Tavi's talents emerge. The interactions between her and Jericho are both amusing and eventually rather sizzling.
I can't wait to see who we meet next in this series.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is not normally a book I would have chosen to read - paranormal, fantasy, crime, thriller? However, I may now have to go back and read the others in the series to see what I have been missing out on!
This book is written very well, I havent read anything else by this author and this was the first book I have read from this series, and while I 'got' that there was history between certain characters, it didnt detract from my enjoyment of the book that I didnt know the back story.
This book twirled together several really good elements. Firstly, its a good cop story, serial killer, catch-the-bad-guy story. Add to that the cop who is doing the chasing was actually a victim many years ago - this makes it personal. Sprinkle in some psychic ability (that has not yet been properly harnessed), some hot side kicks (who can see the future) and a dab of romance - and you have yourself a really interesting book.
I liked that our heroine was kind of flawed. And she tried so hard to push down all her emotions. I loved that Jericho and Stefan both helped her to heal. I hated her mother (in life and in death she seemed revolting!) and I found the character of the serial killer fascinating and complex. This book turned a predictable cop gets bad guy plot into something drak and twisted and quite the emotional rollercoaster. I enjoyed the ride!
Definitely recommend...but probably best if you start from Book 1.
Once again Dale has written a phenomenal book and it is a good addition to the series. This is a story of a girl that had the worst thing ever happen to her, the death of her family whilst she was young has had a profound impact on Tavi and is the reason why she went into her profession, she is a homicide detective (that is also psychic, she is hiding this fact from her coworkers) and in this story she manages to get the attention of Jericho (our other psychic). We also get visits from my personal favourite (Stefan), and Maddy. Tavi’s life is interesting and I love how Jericho interacts with her and how he understands her trials and dilemmas. Jericho is hunting for the same man that is hunting Tavi (the man that killed her family) he is back to tie up some loose ends and poor Tavi is amongst that list. HE let her get away once as he thought she was not like the rest of her family they had the potential to be a very strong psychic family before they had their life’s ended. Tavi has an outstanding police record (being psychic definitely helps you get your man haha), she is as hard as nails and I feel that she could come across as abrasive and cocky. I feel that this is a good match (couple-wise) as you see a softer side to Tavi when she is with Jericho. I love how she interacts with her brother and I really disliked her mother (even in death she came across as a real bitter and jealous woman). If I was you I would start this series from the beginning, you really wont regret it.
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the tenth book in the Psychic Visions series and end with an HEA. This story has it all – romance, suspense and a paranormal twist. Tavika is a cop who survived her family’s murder by a serial killer when she was a child. Her whole life’s pursuit is to find this killer. Tav is an untrained, yet powerful psychic. She attracts the attention of Stephen, from previous books and Jericho. Jericho is sent to watch over Tav and falls for her along the way.
>The series of murders lead Tav and Jericho on a quest to figure out who is behind all the violence. The author uses misdirection and a few red herrings to throw the reader off until the very end with the big reveal. Who was real and who was dead was surprising as well. A lot of the story is Tavika learning about her powers and learning to trust again. The story bogged down in the scenes with descriptions on her feelings being psychically released.
>All of the psychic events were interesting, but a bit unbelievable. No one truly understands psychic power, so anything can be possible. This story used the psychic possibilities to the point of ridiculousness. No one really needed to go anywhere, they could just ‘spirit walk’ and be present as a ghost.
> This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I felt the book delved into magic instead of realistic psychic abilities.
Wow just wow. If you never read any of Dale Mayer’s books, well you have no clue what our missing. So let me tell you. First they are extremely well written. Two, they are thoroughly thought out. Three they are just freaking awesome and that’s not all. She has a way of dragging you in and holding you hostage till the end. And it so worth the ride, you will go back for more when her next book is out.
This is the 10th book in her Psychic visions series of books. This one is about Tavika. She is a detective and a badass at that. She closes more cases than anyone in her department. That is because she has an edge. One she is not really that aware of she is Psychic she just hides it well. She has a shield she has built around herself. And it has protected her till now. The Ghost the serial killer that killed her family is back. And she has no idea why she was saved or he is. Then she is approached by Jericho a Hunter who has been after the Ghost for a long time. But he is also psychic too and is not sure how Tavi has gone this long denying her gifts. She is truly amazing in his eyes, but he is a pre-cog and he has seen her death and is determined to change he fate. As you go you get snippets of the Ghost but man oh man when you find out who it is it will really shock you. I thought I had it figured out, but man was I wrong.
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.
Untrained psychic Tavika Bantrell has never had an easy life made worse when her entire family were killed by a serial killer who has never been caught. So she hides in plain sight working as a homicide detective while trying to get some answers so she can exact some revenge on the killer. PI and psychic hunter Jericho Sands contacts Tavi about a serial killer known as "ghost" which is interesting as she's also hunting him as part of her determination to catch the killer responsible for killing her family. Tavi seems determined not to accept his help nor his protection as he is convinced that she will be killed by "ghost" soon, but he finds himself unable to leave her alone. It appears that sparks fly between them and whenever energy flares it also attracts giving the killer an idea - as he is cleaning up and removing everyone who can stop him, he can take two out together if he goes for them. Can they defeat the killer and stay alive so they can explore what is growing between them?
I loved this story which featured an incredibly independent and stubborn woman, plus a man who will do everything that he can to protect her. I loved the way their relationship slowly built and that it came to a point when neither could (or wanted) to ignore it anymore. I loved working through the mystery as to who "ghost" actually was which completely surprised me at the end as it was not quite who I had decided it was. Well written and very enjoyable.
I just love how each book in this series is so different from the next, you would think there would be a point in the series like most others books that have a long series where things start to get repetitive but nope not here! I loved Tavi's character, she is a strong women but hides her true self from others and won't let herself be who she is, then along comes Jericho and many feelings she has pushed down and locked away start to come to the surface. Both she and Jericho are after the same killer but for different reasons,Jericho is a precog and has been tracking Ghost for some time where as Tavi wants to catch Ghost as he killed her family. Some fantastic twists and turns that keep you glued to the book and wanting more when it ends.
Counting down to the next book in this series !
I was given a complimentary copy of this book to provide an honest review for The Assassin's reading reviewing group.
This is my 10th Psychic Visions read. I love, love, love these books. Dale Mayer skillfully crafts stories that introduce the reader to possibilities beyond the physical world we live in. Into the Abyss follows a cop who is searching for a serial killer nicknamed the Ghost. As a young girl, her family was murdered by the Ghost. The book takes her on a journey of self-discovery where she learns more about her abilities and finds love when she least expects or wants it. The cast of characters include favorites from other Psychic Visions books as well as new characters who use their psychic skills to fight evil. By the end of the book, I was still trying to guess the identity of the Ghost.
I highly recommend this book and all the other books in this series. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series that I have already preordered it. Enjoy!
Tavi was spared by a serial killer when she young and her entire family was murdered. Born into a family of psychics, Tavi was different. As an adult she's a detective who always gets her man but she's searching for the killer who took her family. Jericho is hunting the same serial killer who's been named the Ghost because he's always one step ahead. When he has a vision that Tavi's the next victim he enters her life. They're both in for a surprise when they discover the Ghost's identity.
The story is great but there were quite a few grammatical errors that took away from the story. In addition, the ending seemed a bit rushed to me. Otherwise, I did enjoy this book and the series is a good one.
And Jericho is Tavika's somebody, she just doesn't know it yet! Tavika lives in an emotional void, she suffered a horrific trauma as a child and has survived since by shutting down all emotion. That doesn't mean she is cold, she is just reserved and wary, she cares but is very selective who she shows it to. Whilst her trauma is heartbreaking she doesn't want sympathy and her determination to right wrongs demands respect from you. I really like the relationship between Tavika and Jericho, whilst they struggle to trust and at times have a battle of wills, they also have a mutual respect for each others skills and an eagerness to learn from each other. This was one of my favourite books in the series.
*voluntarily and honestly reviewed this ARC I received from the author's PR*
Like a 4.5 for me.
It's been a while since I've been entirely gripped in the psychic visions, but this book was really great! I totally clicked with it and enjoyed Tavi and Jericho's POV. Jericho was hilarious, Tavi was an interesting and complex character that kept me on my toes (and my temper at bay when she got really stubborn) and though the ending seemed to drag just a bit, I was still overall entertained with the plot, and really liked the characters.
Tavi is looking for the person who killed her family. Jericho is also search for the same man, they call him The Ghost. Tavi does not understand all of the psychic abilities she has and Jericho is sure that she has only touched the surface of them. Mean while her dead family keeps trying to make her give up looking for the man because he is also watching and waiting for Tavi. Can Tavi catch the Ghost before he catches her and can Jericho save her before the Ghost kills her. Another one worth the read from Dale Mayer. Thank you for the advanced copy.
Jericho and Tavika butt heads at first on the quest to find the Ghost, but over time realize their attraction and ability to work well together. The story of the Ghost and his crimes is morbid and extravagant, but makes for a great storyline as so many come together to solve the case.
The idea of the Abyss and the soul/spirit being able to hide is fascinating. It was great seeing Dr. Maddy and Stefan help guide the way and I enjoyed seeing Hunter back. Each book introduces new skills and new friendships. Can’t wait for the next book!
I don't write reviews very often, but I felt the need for this one. I have been enjoying Dale Mayer's Physic Investigators series, and while this one wasn't one of the best it was pretty good. Unfortunately, I have noticed an increasing amount of typos and editing mistakes. The odd spelling mistake is bad enough, but there have been multiple times in this book where there were mistakes that could COMPLETELY change the story. In these cases, I actually had to decipher what exactly was meant. The editor really needs to do a better job!!
I'm not going to give anything about this book away. You have to read it for yourself. I was blown away by this story. Dale Mayer has a way with words when telling a story and I just can't wait for the next book in this series. I give this book and series Five Huge Stars and a high five to boot. Simply amazing.
A family killed by a serial killer and never caught. Going into law enforcement, consumers her life, and with searching for a clue. Jericho finds a clue who his next victim will be. Sparks fly, she works alone. He won’t let anything happen to her, and to figuring why the serial killer has once again come to focus. He has a new life and cleaning up anything from the old way of life. Great plot
Tavika is a hard cop, with traumas… Her whole family was killed by a serial killer named the Ghost. Jericho is a private detective who wants to catch the Ghost and also a precog who saw Tavika die in a vision… The hunt is on while the Ghost cleans up, keeping one step ahead of Tavika and she is also on his clean-up list.
I love this series, but this one was harder to get through as there wasn't anything positive to hope for in the beginning, if only giving the cat more personality. But the storyline finally caught hold, and the need to finish the book.
This was a fantastic book! Dale Mayer continues to impress me with her ability to create this awesome world of psychics and psychic powers. I love how she brings back characters featured in past books, and her storylines are so well planned and laid out.
Each book gets more and more interesting. I am slowly making my way through the series. What an imaginative viewpoint this author has! Getting ready to read book 11: Seeds of Malice now.
Surviving a childhood trauma left a need to control her life and seek to right the wrongs that others visited on innocents! But evil in others is not to be underestimated and capable of returning home at any time!
Loved this book, I'm on to the next in series by Dale Mayer. Great reads, so hard to put down, a page turner. I intend to read all the books written by this author. If you like psychic stories these are a must read.
