Helena Stone can’t remember a life before words and reading. After growing up in a household where no holiday or festivity was complete without at least one new book, it’s hardly surprising she now owns more books than shelf space while her Kindle is about to explode.
The urge to write did come as a surprise. The realisation that people might enjoy her words was a delightful shock. Now that the writing bug has well and truly taken hold, Helena can no longer imagine not sharing the characters and stories in her head and heart with the rest of the world.
Having left the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam for the peace and quiet of the Irish countryside she divides her time between reading, writing, long walks, and her part-time job in a library. A grown-up daughter and her ever-loving and patient husband make sure she occasionally takes a break too.
New to me author. This is a short mm novella. I read this as a sample of the writers work. This is not a stand-alone and contains bits of previous story. Set around a Christmas Day I’d love to read more about this couple Aiden and Lennart. Told from Lennarts POV.
Short, very sweet followup to Adelaide Road as Aiden and Lennart make their relationship permanent, as though it wasn't already. When Aiden's family swoops down for a huge Christmas dinner they are shocked that this is Lennart's first Christmas celebration. What they think is the saddest thing they've ever heard is actually a day of great joy for Lennart. Read Adelaide Road first, then this little short story to round it out.
This is a quick and sweet holiday continued romance of Aidan and Lennart. Lennart had a very difficult youth and never experienced the joys of Christmas...until now. Aidan’s family is more than up to the challenge with love, humor, and of course hope for the future.
Stop by Christmas on Adelaide Road written by Helena Stone if you need a quick pick me up during the holidays or anytime during the year.
