Cara Leoni hasn’t hiked into a mountaintop village in Central America to experience the rainforest; she came to seal a business deal. Everything depends on it: her job, her future, her pride. The catch? Her competition has already negotiated a secret arrangement with the local chief. Now she’s trapped in the jungle, the clock is ticking, and her only hope is the one man she vowed never to trust again.

Tobin Cooper was only planning on a couple of laid-back weeks on the beaches of Panama, but before he knows it, he’s racing his rusty motorcycle into the wild side. Venomous snakes, poison darts, and ruthless drug runners aren’t half as frightening as the idea of facing his ex-fiancée again. But if he and Cara are going to escape the jungle alive, they must rebuild trust, one kiss at a time.

USA Today and Amazon best-selling author Anna Lowe loves putting the "hero" back into heroine and letting location ignite a passionate romance. She likes a heroine who is independent, intelligent, and imperfect — a woman who's doing just fine on her own. But give the heroine a good man (not to mention a chance to overcome her own inhibitions) and she'll never turn down the chance for adventure, nor shy away from danger.

On any given weekend, you might find her hiking in the mountains or hunched over her laptop, working on her latest story. Either way, the day will end with a chunk of dark chocolate and a good read.

Tobin shook his head and stared out the window. The rain hammered on the roof as she sorted through it all. How a single afternoon had somehow become a week. How a business trip into the jungle had somehow turned into a voyage through memories, emotions, and regrets. All the things she’d kept locked up, suddenly thrust into daylight, begging to be resolved. Here, of all places — this tangled, primal place.

Review for ENTANGLED
I received this as an ARC for an honest review
Tobin Cooper is in Central America on his motorcycle when he gets an email from his cousin Meredith. It seems his ex fiancé, Cara Leoni, is stuck there and needs some help getting out of the remote village where she is being detained. Tobin and Cara were to be married six years ago….but a misunderstanding led Cara to cancel the wedding two days before the event. Not being able to trust him, Cara said she never wanted to see him again….and he took her at her word. Now they have come full circle once again. Tobin rushes to her hoping to finally find closure with the one woman he will always love, but a series of misadventures and some very dangerous and shady characters make that difficult. But during their short few days together, they rediscover each other. They both have regrets about the past and when Cara reveals she learned the truth of what happened six years ago, she has no choice bet to let him know how truly sorry she is. When they finally make their escape from the village, Tobin takes her back to Panama for her work. She asks him to wait for her while she ties up her work project. When Tobin is alone at her place, he knows he has to make changes to show her he is serious about their future. She comes back to find him gone and his letter asking her to give him time to make some changes. The question is…will she trust him this time, give him the time he asks for…or she will walk away once more because of doubts ?

Diving into one of Anna Lowe’s book is like Netflix-ing your favorite movie—you have to read it while you’re in your pajamas with a bowl of popcorn on your lap.

Entangled by Anna Lowe begins in the middle of a Central American rainforest. Tobin Cooper is about to cross a rope bridge hanging over a ravine. He’s spirited, passionate, and a you only live once so why the hell not? kind of guy. He’s Zac Efron in that episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls. He’s Flynn Rider with that signature smoldering charm. But despite Tobin’s happy-go-lucky air, he’s crossing that ravine no matter what because the love of his life is in danger.

Fiery, capable Cara Leoni is Tobin’s ex-fiance. She poured herself into her career after breaking off their engagement six years ago. When her work sends her to Panama, a rival company sabotages her plans to negotiate the setting up and installation of a satellite dish. Now, she’s being held against her will in a remote rainforest village, and she’s not allowed to leave until the deadline to seal the deal passes—in three days.

When Cara sees Tobin for the first time, the moment is electrifying. They’re still very much in love, but the circumstances that dissolved their past relationship hasn’t changed. Tobin believes he’s the shame of his blue-blooded family. He got kicked out of the right schools and squandered the degree he finally earned by becoming a ski instructor. Cara was and is the only one who ever loved him for having the courage to forge his own path, but six years ago, instead of trusting in their relationship, they listened to everyone else: He’s not good enough for her. He’ll only cheat on her. He’ll never amount to anything.

Cue the teary sniffles as I turn the page. :(

It’s funny how a certain book will come into your life at the right moment, and Entangled really struck a chord with me. As a writer who gave up a 9 to 5 career, I’ve been in Tobin’s shoes. There’s a scene toward the end of the book when Tobin imagines him and Cara in a cocktail party.

A slick suit approaches them. “So, what do you do?” he says with a smirk.

Oh my God. I’ve been there. Every family gathering. Every holiday party. I’ve been there.

Maybe it’s all in my head. Maybe I’m imagining the insinuations, the subtle assaults, but in my head is where they do the most damage. And that’s what’s so good about Entangled. These are relatable, very real characters placed in difficult, almost impossible situations. For Tobin and Cara, things could’ve gone either way by the end of the book. It ultimately took them six years to figure out how to cross that metaphorical ravine of past betrayals for a chance at happily-ever-after on the other side.

Something else that needs to be mentioned about Entangled: Cara likes taking what she calls mental pictures complete with captions. It’s a Facebooky thing without ever saying Facebook, but it ties in nicely with Cara and Tobin’s past mistakes. They’re both independent people, but no one’s immune to their loved one’s opinions. Lowe handles what could’ve been a gimmicky thing with skill and subtlety. Those freeze-frame moments help to break up emotionally charged scenes and mark key bits of character development throughout the story. I loved it so much.

Heat level: Pretty steamy. A lot of foreplay. Just the way I like my romance books.

Entangled: Serendipity Adventure.Romance Book 2 was written by Anna Lowe. This is Tobin’s story after he leaves Seth and Julie sailing off on the Serendipity. Tobin took off on Lucy, Julie’s motorcycle.
Tobin was always looking at the bright side of things. No matter what happened, he could always see the good in it. However, having Cara not trust him and then break off with him only days before the wedding was more than he could handle with optimism. After leaving Belize and Seth with Serendipity, Tobin headed towards Panama. There he began teaching surfing on the beach. Then he got a message from Cara’s parents. She was being held in a village in panama. Since he was closest, they were forced to ask him to help her. They weren’t convinced he would be able to do anything; but they had no one else to go to. Tobin still loved Cara and could not stand knowing she needed help so he took off on Lucy to help her.
Will he be able to even find her? If he does find her, did she really want help from him? Could he even begin to get her out? If he did, then what?
The book is full of action and wonderful descriptions of the scenery in Panama. Lots of suspense keeps you interested.

I've been looking forward to Tobin's story since we first met him in Off the Charts (the prequel) when he tried to pick up Julie and Uncharted (book 1) when we got to know him a little more as he helped Seth keep Julie safe. Tobin gives off this party guy playboy vibe, yet we see in Uncharted there's a deeper, more serious side to him. It was also obvious he still has some feelings for Cara, as evidenced by the fact he carries around a picture of her all these years later.

Entangled is their story. Cara is being held captive in a village by the Chief. Tobin is asked to rescue her by his cousin, Meredith. Of course, you'll have all the same questions I did. Why did they break up? Does she still think of him? Do they both ever think of what if? How does he feel knowing she's in danger? How does she feel when he comes to save her? Do they both want a second chance at their HEA? I now know the answers to all these questions. Nanner nanner nanner. ;-) Read the book and you'll find out too. It's worth it. Happy reading.

I just loved 'Entangled'... I'd started & couldn't stop reading until the entire book had finished. I absolutely love the whole Indiana Jones roles the characters took on/are taking on in this series. 'Entangled' is book 2 in the "Serendipity Adventure Romance" series, I do highly recommend you read this series in order, starting with the prequel.

Tobin has been riding his way through South America on Lucy (the bike her borrowed from Julie) when he gets a call from his cousin, Cara (the women who broke him) is in danger. Cara is being held against her will, in a remote villiage in Central America, every time she tries to leave, the locals herd her back....

I LOVED learning more about Tobin, he was like a mystery in book 1 of the series, you only got a hint of the person he was & the information he allowed others to know about him. I enjoyed how Tobin came to Cara's rescue even after 6 years. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Eeee, I loved reading about Tobin and his mate. I loved the adventure and how hard it is for them. I love the love between them even when neither wants it. The characters are amazing... the humor is fun between them and it keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. Loved it and am so glad I got to review it

Anna Lowe makes her second Serendipity Adventure story continuously engaging with unexpected jeopardy plus earnestly depicted feelings. The number of compelling emotional scenes is perfectly balanced by the suspenseful circumstances where danger just keeps escalating, and regardless of what was happening, I was totally caught up in the events. Books where a jungle is extensively featured in the plot have always been a favorite of mine, as the place is filled with wonder but also much peril. The author takes advantage of this fact, which makes her story seem particularly believable.

When Cara Leoni travelled to a remote area of Panama, she wanted to get a contract with local villagers in order to save her job. What happened instead was her being stranded and desperately needing to return for a crucial meeting. A message to a relative results in having a man come to her rescue, someone whom she never thought to see again. Six years ago, Tobin Cooper was her fiancé, but the wedding was called off when he appeared untrustworthy. Yet now Cara must put her faith in him or all could be lost

From the very start, I thoroughly enjoyed the charming personality of Tobin. He always tries to see the bright side of a situation, plus he is so considerate of others. I really liked how his true nature is slowly revealed though his deeds, making me comprehend that this man is much more than what he lets the world see. Cara is usually serious, but a playful side comes out when these two are together. There are quite a few moments where both are vulnerable when they speak from the heart, and the passion each feels for the other can be sky-high. ENTANGLED is a captivating romance with a delightful couple and riveting developments. The books in the series can be read in any order, as plenty of background is given.

Ms Lowe has written another extraordinary book full of adventure and danger, with some fun thrown into the mix.

Tobin is laid back and carefree, and tries to enjoy life to its fullest, but under the surface, he is serious with a dangerous side. When he asked to rescue his ex fiance who is being held captive, he does't think twice. Will he succeed or will he mess things up like everyone expects him to?

Cara is career-driven, and is on a business trip to seal a deal. However, when she gets to the village, she encounters a few problems with the locals–they refuse to let her leave. She needs help, and she needs it fast, or her career will be over. The last person she expects to see is her ex fiance who she failed to trust the last time.

Together they will have to make a daring escape with bullets and poison darts flying all over the place. Will they manage to cross the bridges unscathed, both literally and figuratively?

Another strong story line that entertains the reader from start to finish. Filled with action, adventure and passion that sizzles between the characters.

An amazing read! Aboslutely loved it!

To read this review and others like it check out my site at www.homelovebooks.com

I haven't read a lot of romance books that take place in another country for the majority of the book, but the few I have read I enjoyed. I think it's something about the book being able to transport me to another place I have never been to before, it just makes the book all the more exciting. Also I love a good second chance story as well, especially people who were married or close to being married, so this book seemed to be right up my alley. While this book is book two in the series, and there are some references to the past book in this one, it very much so can be read as a stand alone.

So when the book starts off we have Tobin showing up in South America looking for his ex, the one woman he has loved, Cara, to save her. I liked Tobin's tone, he is just the right mix of cocky, kind, and smart. I thought it was really interesting that he would go chase after his ex after getting an e-mail from his exes family saying that they got an e-mail from her saying she was in trouble. Throughout the course of the book I really liked Tobin, he did a great job at staying cool under pressure, be it from a snake or some guys who have guns and are shooting at him. He just has this great kind of roll with the punches attitude that made me really like him.

Cara on the other hand I went back and forth on whether or not I liked her. Sometimes I thought she was completely clueless, like how she couldn't figure out why the villagers wouldn't let her leave, but Tobin figured it out in seconds. And sometimes I thought she was one of those people who really cared way to much about what other people thought, I mean she really listened to what people thought about her and her old relationship with Tobin so much so that it basically ruined her relationship in the first place. But she had some really sweet moments with Tobin that redeemed her for me.

I really liked emotional aspect of Tobin and Cara's relationship, it had kind of a nice build up. Obviously in a second chance romance there were definitely things that needed to be worked out, and it was enjoyable for me to read how it all unfolded. The tribe that Cara was with made for some interesting situations and it was enjoyable. Overall the book was pretty good, and I liked it, I wish I had liked Cara just a little bit more than I did, but the story worked for me. If you like romances that take place in exotic locations you may want to give this book a shot.

Entangled(Serendipity Adventure Romance #2) By Anna Lowe

Tobin is the laid back one of the family. He takes each day as it comes and enjoys it without a worry or responsibility to anyone. Thats what everyone sees and thinks but Tobin still pines for his ex fiance. Planning on taking a few weeks on the beaches of Panama is short lived, when he hears that Cara is in trouble and needs help, he drops everything to go to her. Even fighting the jungle and drug runners isn't half as scary as facing her again. But he will do anything for her even risk his own life.

Cara Leoni has hiked to a villiage on the mountaintop in Central America. She went to seal a business deal but when she gets there she experiences problems. Her competitors have already negotiated an arrangement with the local chief and he won't let her leave the villiage. Although she has an idea of why, she's not completely sure. So she's trapped. She manages to send a message. The last person she expects to see turns up to save her.

Tobin will do anything for Cara and Cara will do anything for Tobin. With their lives in the balance, past mistakes and guilt, will they make it out alive to put their past behind them and have the closure to move on with their lives!

This book was awesome. I love this authors style of writing, it's easy, descriptive and draws you in. It has a strong storyline which is well written. From beginning to end it has non stop action and it flowed smoothly. Tobin and Cara have to be one of my favourite book couples, you couldn't help but be drawn to them. Tobin, I just loved him. He was judged for been carefree and laid back but he was anything but. For those who bothered to look past the facade knew that. Cara, worked hard to please her family, it was important to her. And she loses sight of whats important to her by listening to the whispers of others. But she's a good, loving person and finds her way in the end. I loved the urgency in their relationship and the passion they share for each other, which comes across perfectly. The book manages to pull all sorts of emotions out of you which makes it such an amazing read. It was such an incredible read!

This is the second book in the Serendipity Series but I honestly believe that you can read this one without having read the previous two books. This is a great adventure series that I've thoroughly enjoyed and I loved this one even more because it was so romance driven. This book in about Tobin and Cara. These are two people who were madly in love, engaged to be married and just before the wedding, Cara here's some story about Tobin and calls it off. This book finds them 6 years later. Tobin, described as the easy going, playboy type surfer guy is still in love with Cara and has never gotten over their split. Cara is described as the career focused woman on a mission to secure a huge deal that leads to a big promotion. Unfortunately, Cara is "captured" in Panama and no one has heard from her and she risks missing the presentation for her deal and thus, the promotion. Tobin gets a message that Cara's in danger but not too far from where he is and he's the only one who can help her. Tobin's not going to let this opportunity to pass him by to prove that he's worthy of her.

I really can't do this book justice in my review. It's just such an amazing love story and the adventures they go on are breathtaking. Yes, it will literally take your breath away as your reading. My emotions were all over the place. Just when I think Tobin has one her over, he writes a heart wrenching letter and I'm devastated. This book captured me and I couldn't put it down.

I'm so glad I found this author. Another great book in this Series. I can't wait to get the next one....

Entangled is book 2 in the Serendipity Adventure Romance standalone series. Series are fabulous especially when the stories include danger and romance making them more of an exciting read..

This story features Cara Leoni a sexy, audacious, independent beauty, and Tobin Cooper’s ex-fiancée. Cara was sent by her company TeleCel to the Tucumba jungle to get a cell phone contract signed by the Chief of the village; the Chief is holding her captive with no means of escape. Tobin who has a physique and smile to die for, mesmerizing eyes, and a spine-tingling voice that melts the soul, has been sent by his cousin Meredith to rescue Cara.

The characters in this action packed romance are amazingly impressive and engaging, the humor fantastic, descriptions of scenes exotic and enchanting, the danger-perilous, emotions high, soul wrenching confessions, and scorching earth-shattering heart-throbbing pulsating romance that will leave you wonder-struck.

Absolutely incredible; a well written read by a gifted author. Tobin personifies fearlessness and passion; he is priceless… This story had me on the edge of my couch, I laughed and cheered too. A heart warming ending that leaves you smiling and wanting more… Loved the story and can’t wait for the next book. {I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review}. Without reservations I highly recommend this book, the author and of course the series…

In this series we are led on adventures that feature a new couple in each. In Entangled, we are told Tobin and Cara's story. First thing's first, that cover is simply HOT!! Pepe Toth could take me on an adventure ANY day!! Okay, now that's out of my system, Tobin has been sticking it in Panama when he gets a message to help his old flame, Cara. Cara wants to escape the kind, tribal people badly, but how badly? Is she to put her trust back into a man who she thought brought it? When Tobin and Cara clash things fall into place again. As it ticks down to the time that Cara is needing to escape, she begins to have second thoughts. Heck, I'd have second thoughts leaving nice people while reconnecting with a loved one. When escape becomes necessity things go haywire. This is when the action gets intense. When things begin to fall into place for Cara, Tobin pushes her trust. Will they find their way back to one another, or be left heartbroken? I am so happy that I got to read this! Their story was definitely long awaited and filled with all kinds of tension. Tobin is really a good guy, from the inside-out. Cara is a stress-ball, but Tobin seems to be her rock. To top things off, we had some steam, some action, and a well deserved love story. I cannot wait to read the next installment to this series!!!

I think I've fallen in love all over again! Who in their right mind wouldn't fall for a guy like Tobin, ready to rush off into an unknown danger zone to rescue the one woman he is likely to ever love? Even if it's been over six years since she sent him away. When Cara sent out her SOS to her boss and family, the last person she expected to see come to her rescue was her ex-fiance. After not seeing him for over six years, he sure was a sight for sore eyes after being held more or less as a hostage in the deep jungles of Panama. But will her knight in not so shining armour be able to save the day?
This book is so full of adventure and intrigue, with a bit of danger and lots of making up for lost time. What happens when two people destined to be together meet up again after being under duress and forced to take a good look at their lives and what, or who, is missing from it? It would seem, all kinds of excitement.
An awesome read you won't want to miss out on, Anna Lowe continues with her wonderful style of writing that will nab you, hook, line and sinker, from beginning to end, and then some. This series is absolutely breath taking, from the places it brings you, to the people we meet, you won't want to put it down. Looking forward to the next addition to the series.

I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW AND THIS IS MY HONEST REVIEW ... OVER 18 READERS...
A GREAT STORY...I WANT TO READ MORE FROM THESE CHARACTERS...,
Cara Leoni has to hike into a mountaintop village in Central America, but once there discovers they will not let her leave till the week end after her meeting. No cell service, no phones, no mail, and she needs to be at the meeting Friday. She got a couple seconds on her cell , just long enough to send a pre -typed text to her parents.Who told Meredith (Tobin's cousin)and she told them Tobin Cooper was in Panama, she got a message back from Cara 's frantic parents "GET TOBIN TO GET CARA". It didn't matter that he was engaged to Cara, that she broke it off two days before the wedding. But Tobin still Loved Cara so he went to find out what was wrong, and bring her out in time. Now this book has a lot of funny parts from how he gets in, to the way she greets him, Their village stay, Tobin ways of getting to see what he needs to figure a way out. The drug runners and others that threaten the village, being shot at, chased, and finally him leaving her but asking for trust. Then the surprise, and it's a big one. I loved this and laughed at a lot of it, it is a fun and enjoyable read.

Tobin Cooper has never been the same since Cara Leoni left him two days before their wedding. Everyone always treated him as if he had no direction in life. Would never amount to anything. He found it easier to let them think what they wanted. After his brother Seth sailed off with Julie. Tobin stayed behind in South America to kick back and see the sights. When he gets a message that Cara is being held in a village he finds himself rushing to her rescue.

This is the second book in the Serendipity Adventure Romance series. If your looking for action, adventure and suspense this series is for you. Tobin is a fantastic character. You can't help but fall in love with him. He is a lot deeper then people give him credit for. Cara is work focused but with Tobin she learned how to have fun and not be so serious. This book is filled with humor, hot sex scenes and a love that has never dimmed in six years.

When you meet Tobin for the first time earlier in the series, you get a very different impression than you do in this book. He is not a player. He is totally in love with his ex-finance Cara. He is willing to risk his life to protect her when he finds out she is in danger. Cara knows she made a mistake when she ended the engagement but it didn't seem like they could make it work. There were a lot of people making them both doubt the strength of their love and their abilities. In this book, we get a chance to learn who Tobin really is and see him finally believe in himself. At first, it is a little hard to be sympathetic to Cara once you realize how much Tobin was hurt by her. You learn more about her past and understand why she took the actions that brought them both heartbreak. I really wanted them to find there way out of the danger and back into each others arms. Sometimes you have to grow apart to be together. I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Sincere thanks to the author for providing a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed the second book in the Serendipity Adventure Romance Series. I was pulled into the story and connected to the characters Tobin and Cara and just like in book one (Uncharted), this book has
A lot of action, humor and romance. Uncharted is a great book to read but not necessary to read first in order to understand Tobin and Cara story.

Tobin and Cara not only have to face the forces aligned against them, but they are going to have to learn to trust in one another again and hope they can escape the jungle alive and get another chance at love
and happiness that they let slip by six years ago.

I am looking forward to the release of the third book in this series.

I am so glad to get Tobin's story! This character grabbed my attention in the first two Serendipity books (Off the Charts and Uncharted) when hints were given that he wasn't the care-free ladie's man he may have appeared to be. This book all about him didn't disappoint.

This story really makes you root for Tobin and Cara. These two were engaged until something happened two days before the wedding to make Cara run. Now, years later, Tobin is contacted because Cara is in trouble and he is in a position to help. We know Tobin hasn't forgotten her(from clues in the previous books) and through the events of this one, we get a little insight from Cara as well. Read this book if you like adventure, suspense, intrigue, heartache, and overcoming-the-odds love.

I received this book as an arc in exchange for an honest review.
