Ok Book

It was OK. But, I guess I was expecting something, more from this book. But, it was an ok read.

You never know where your past will lead you. In this book, we meet Brooke Janson who leads a hum-drum life and runs into Garrett Sawyer, a blast from the past - in of all places in the grocery store. She know him well....hell, he was married to her best friend and she's crushed on him since high school. You'll feel the angst as they re-connect. Garrett pushes, she retreats. Does she give into her feelings for Garrett? Can she let go and give herself to him? What about Janet, Brooke's best friend who was married to him? Janet gave him up, so what's the big deal? I felt all the angst, the fear, the anticipation, and the tingling when Brooke started thinking about what could happen when she and this man she had fallen in love with many years ago connected. I cheered for her and hoped she would give in and just let her heart lead the way. I mean, after all - obviously Janet discarded Garrett from her hand of cards, so what's the big deal? The big deal is that Brooke values her friendship with Janet.
Follow Brooke on her discovery to happiness with this hot guy who has been in her life forever. You won't regret it. Like I said, You NEVER know where your past will lead you....

Oh my, is this a dilemma or what? Brooke dated Garrett in high school. They parted ways during college years, and this amazing hunk ended up marrying Janet, a friend. Party-girl Janet cheated on him, and they ended up divorcing. When Brooke runs into Garrett, both want to pick up where they left off. Brooke feels she needs permission from Janet to date her ex, and Janet warns her Garrett isn’t over her and will break Brooke’s heart. It’s a dilemma on many fronts. I recommend My Best Friend’s Ex to anyone who enjoys roller coaster romance.

Okay

This book was... was... was what it was. It just jump to fast. They run into each other and boom it's done. It felt like a outline to a story that needed to be filled in. I get where the author was coming (or trying to go) from, just wish she spent more time enriching the story.

Judging a cover... 3/5 for the cover. I like the cover picture. It seemed like it would be a cute romance. It was working it was to be that way...

Another sweet, sexy story! Brooke & Garrett's story was so DELICIOUS! In love with him even before he married and then divorced her best friend, Brooke gets a second chance with Garrett when they bump into each other at a grocery storeI I thoroughly enjoyed it!
