Milly Taiden (also writes as April Angel) was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean (to her) known as the Dominican Republic. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.
When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop.
She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!

Witch Daisy Bloom has accidentally caused a magical problem in Whispering Pines. She was attempting to strengthen the protective barriers around the town when she got tongue-tied and messed up the spell. Now, strange things are happening and an old enemy may have a way to enter their sanctuary. She has to figure out how to fix her mistake before the town is invaded.
Fixer and panther shifter Rourke Easton has been called in by Sheriff Reed Mallory to help strengthen the town's defenses. As the son of a witch, as well as a shifter, he has, er, abilities. Hearing about the witch who caused the problem doesn't prepare him for meeting the upbeat and powerful woman. Daisy is definitely a force to be reckoned with. As a guarded and jaded individual, he can't believe how easily she captivates him. He finds himself thinking about settling down, but first they have to repair the damage to the town's defenses before the Reapers overrun them.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Magic on the Prowl" by Milly Taiden due 7/2/24 5 stars Daisy & Roarke
She wants to guarantee the town is safe after all the problems. Too bad her fellow witches forgot to mention witchy mid-life magic.
I love the town and people as they are forgiving and great loyal friends. When Roarke shows up it isn't love at first sight but they do find chemistry. Nothing is happening right away. She's concerned about her magic and the town. He isn't into relationships. He's a former military man with a new job of handling messes--just what they need.
This one is so good with the couples we've watched find love in the previous series books, now we get to watch Daisy and her humor work her "magic" with him. There is a lot of couple fun besides the bad guys we know are gonna be there. The question is--are they going down? Or is the town?
Some of the best characters in all the author's books. Steam aplenty, as well as the story and characters
Daisy is the Whispering Pines resident magical Pharmacist she is preparing to reinforce the wards to protect the town. Unfortunately, she makes a mistake that could cost everyone. She enlists her friends for help it gets so bad that the mayor has to call in The Fixer to help get the town protected from the dark magic. Roarke is a panther who handles issues like this all the time he is something about this place. He is tall and handsome and just what the town and Daisy need to be extra thankful for. It is an exciting story and the characters keep you turning pages. Series book 5. Romantic suspense. I read a review copy without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.
Another look into the lives and magic happenings in Whispering Pines. Daisy Bloom is the quirky, bubbly witch in the town of magic and enchantments. When trying to strengthen the magical wards around the town, her spell goes wrong. Reed calls on Roarke a supernatural op’s agent to help reinforce the shield around the town that has weakened. The town come together to fight the evil forces wanting to destroy Whispering Pines.
I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
The town of Whispering Pines has been in a sort of flux. Dark powers outside of the town have been trying to infiltrate, without too much luck. But unfortunately Daisy, may have accidentally given them an "in" when her powers fluctuated. But Roarke was brought in to help with the restoration, and may just have more than a little to do with Daisy....Working together, spending time with each other may just be just the thing that both the town and the couple need. Fabulous book in the Whipering Pines series by Milly Taiden!
I really loved this book! Daisy & Roarke are a perfect couple. Daisy runs the Phantasm Pharmacy and Roarke is the fixer who is there to help fix the problem with the barrier around Whispering Pines. The town over doesn’t like Whispering Pines. Why does this town hurt Whispering Pines? This book has adventure, romance and suspense all rolled into one. You keep reading it to find out what happens next. I received a free ARC copy for my review.

Daisy’s experimental spell to strengthen Whispering Pines’ protective shields went disastrously awry. Her wonky magic weakened the borders instead, causing hilarious spectral hijinks. And it brought Roarke, a magical fixer, to town.
While his panther should have immediately recognized his mate in Daisy, Roarke clashed with her almost as often as they allowed themselves to come together. I really enjoyed how they fixed the town’s magical defenses while also healing each other…
Another phenomenal and entertaining read from MT. I love reading her shifter books because I love shifters. Also, her books draw me in and keep me interested without any dull moments. I always have a great time and this book was no different. This is a fourth in a series and I'm hoping for a fifth.
Daisy and Roarke have a very interesting introduction after she accidentally causes harm to the town wards. He’s a fixer, come to help. He’s not looking for love, but it finds him. I liked how it wasn’t just about restoring the defenses. There was a a lot of personal sharing between them and their friends.
Another great addition to the series. Whispering Pines once again shows friendship and love with a touch of magic is all you need for a happy life. I did receive this book as an ARC, but this is my honest review.
A very wonderful story that kept me entertained from the very beginning! I’m absolutely loving the characters in this intriguing town! A very enjoyable read that I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book
I loved panther Roarke🖤and witch Daisy romance in this small town filled with Magic ❤️🖤🦋🌟. I have read every single book from this incredible Author ✍🏻 and I have found her books Magical and brilliantly written!!! Absolutely amazing!!!
A magically spellbinding, sweet and charming romance. Rourke and Daisy are adorable together. These two compelling characters along with the townspeople made this story unique, unexpected and unforgettable. I enjoyed this story.
This one was a tad bit long for me. It didn’t take long to read, but the storyline is just meandering. By the end, you know it’s going there it just takes so long. Probably not really, but in my mind I was skipping to the end. Still, read the whole thing.
Can't wait to read more in this series loved the characters and the storylines so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone
