Milly Taiden (also writes as April Angel) was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean (to her) known as the Dominican Republic. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.
When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop.
She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!
This was a wonderful read; I loved the story and the characters that I thoroughly enjoyed This was a wonderful addition to the series and I guarantee that you will love the character witch by the name of Sera Haskett who had recently moved to Whispering Pines where she is looking for a new job and a new home which she has also recently acquired. She is paired with the unconventional dragon shifter Lark Wilder who is the co-organiser as she immediately knows that their styles are going to clash and there is nothing that can be done to change the way they see the clash and the way the deal with things. It soon becomes apparent that they will have to work together to discover who is trying to ruin the celebration and fortunately they find they like being close together. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing
Awesome story! Sera lands a dream job in Whispering Pines. She's is paired up with Lark for help planning an upcoming festival. Lark is a free spirit and Sera thrives on order. They seem to butt heads more than they agree. She learns there's more to life than control and order when she opens her heart to change. Life is more enjoyable when you stop and smell the roses and let go of the past. Highly entertaining story from the start. Milly has a way with words to grab your attention. Whispering Pines series is a cute series of paranormal stories with happy endings. A must read series that I highly recommend.
I received a free ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I really loved this book! Sera & Lark make a great couple. I love how the story comes together in such wonderful town as Whispering Pines. The way that the story is told I feel like I’m right there in that small town. This story just comes alive as you read it. Sera is the new witch in town to organize the annual festival with Lark as her co-partner for the event. At first they don’t get along but come to a compromise that makes it all come together. But who is it that doesn’t want the festival to happen? Because the whole town is excited about the festival. You’ll need to read the book to find out. I received this free ARC copy for my review.

I love this series. This author has a phenomenal writing style that just draws you in from the start and keeps hold of you until long after the end. Plus, this author writes a lot of different shifter series, and anyone who knows me knows I love shifters because of the many possibilitites they offer. Plus, I have a major fascination with the duality of two beings/souls sharing a body. This book offers all of that and so much more. I had the best time reading this story, and the ones that came before it, and I look forward to reading many more books in this series.
This book was a great addition to the Whispering Pines series. Sera landed a dream job, bringing her magical talents to the town to help organize its annual festival. Immediately paired up with Lark, a cranky dragon shifter, her job was not smooth sailing. Magical mishaps and sabotages plague the festival, as old grudges revealed potential motive for trying to ruin Sera’s meticulous plans. The culprit lurked in the shadows, virtually undetectable by everyone until it was almost too late.
I really enjoyed this story, both its romance and mystery.
What could go wrong with a witch and a dragon who are total opposites? Quite a bit actually! This was such an enjoyable read! I loved Sera and Lark! They were both such fantastic characters and I loved their interactions! Whispering Pines is such an intriguing town with so many great characters and plenty going on to keep you captivated! Fantastic story that I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book
Welcome back to Whispering Pines! Sera was hired to run the annual festival, with the help of Lark. Her precise, schedule driven methods clash with his spontaneous, fly by the seat of your pants methods. However....opposites attract, and a common enemy fuels their pull to each other. Can they work together to protect the town and their beloved festival, and each other as well? Another fabulous book in the Whifpering Pines series by Milly Taiden!
This is a great series. A slow burn small town romance. Sera is hired as the new Festival co-chair along with Lark. She is an order witch and he is total chaotic dragon. They say opposites attract, and there is no keeping these two apart.

At first, it look like drama and good reading. But it was plain all the way . kinda boring. Nothing to get the juice going. But I went through with it, and hoping it will get better. It didn't. Even at the end I was looking for the babies they saw to give it a happy ending.
Another must read added to the series. To all the paranormal romance out there, this should be next on your reading list. I did receive this book as an ARC, but this is my honest review.
The characters are all fabulous people I would love to spend time with. This story is heartwarming, sexy & fun. The mystery could have given us more clues, but I knew who the culprit was. Still, I enjoyed this immensely.
I loved this story but it was predictable. I actually figured out who the culprit was in the beginning, but leave it to Milly to throw in a possible new direction. I did think they were working together at first.
Milly Taiden has outdone herself on this fourth installment of the series. The character work and story line were well written and kept me coming back for more. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Witch Sera Haskett has come to Whispering Pines for a job and a new home. She is there to organize a beloved annual town festival and she is a little nervous about the responsibility. When she is paired with the unconventional dragon-shifter Lark Wilder as her co-organizer, she immediately knows their styles are going to clash. She is orderly and methodical and he is...not. As these two try to mesh their conflicting personalities, it becomes apparent that someone is out to sabotage the festival. They soon realize that they will have to work together to figure out who is trying to ruin the celebration. Fortunately, they find they like being close together....
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
