Megan and Santiago decided they needed a fun day out. They decided a ferry to the lighthouse would be just the thing. So the two of them, along with Megan's incredible Great Dane, Fred go there and meet a young girl named Madison. But a nice relaxing day turns into an investigation for Megan when Madison falls from the viewing balcony of the lighthouse. In critical condition, she is still alive. Megan can't get past, if she fell or was she pushed. But things are strange when Megan digs into Madison's job. Apparently, she works on a project for the government and maybe she knows too much? With so many twists and turns things aren't right. Will Madison survive? Will Megan get find the perpetrator? Or will she be attacked too? This is a page turning mystery that keeps you engaged until the surprise ending. This is a highly recommended series and this book is a great addition. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Megan and Sebastian are touring a local lighthouse for a day of fun and relaxation. The calm is shattered when a young woman they had just met falls from the lighthouse. Was it a suicide, a murder, or an accident?
The young woman, Madison, and her friend both work for a tech industry with military contracts. Madison, though a recent hire, has moved up quickly in the ranks and is top contender winning a design prize at the company. The more Megan digs, the more she finds jealousy, revenge, and possibly even military involvement and the more convinced she is that Madison was targeted. Will Megan be next?
This is a fun series and this book has some thrilling adventures. The relationship between Megan and Sebastian is very sweet and Megan’s Great Dane is a terrific character.

This was the first in this series that I read and I found it easy to follow along even though I haven't read any of the others in this series and I was hooked on the whole mystery of who pushed Madison off the lighthouse and why!
I really enjoyed all the twists this book took and trying to figure out who could be trusted and who couldn't be.
I wish we had a little more closure from Madison and Megan when the mystery was solved, that moved a little fast for me. But otherwise, this was a great mystery in this series and now I'm looking forward to going back to read from the beginning!

Megan meets a young lady named Madison who is on holiday and visiting the lighthouse. Later, she hears a scream and Madison's body on the ground. Was it an accident or did someone push her. Her boyfriend, Treyvan is a suspect and is arrested but insists that he did not push her. Megan probes into Madison's work and finds out that her research is the reason which nearly got her killed. A page turner with interesting characters and jaw dropping suspense. I like Fred, the Great Dane who is adorable. The ending is a pleasant surprise.

Megan and Santiago (Santi) decided to take the ferry to the lighthouse for an enjoyable day out. They met a young woman (Madison) who was there with a co-worker.

Megan heard a scream, and she saw Madison laying on the ground at the base of the lighthouse. What happened? Did she fall over the railing, or was she pushed? And if so, why? These questions will be answered in the story.

The author keeps you guessing until the end. I definitely recommend this book.

I received a free ARC, and this is my honest opinion.

I’m coming a bit late to this series. This sixth book in the series is the first one I’ve read. The characters are great and you just have to love Megan’s Great Dane, Fred! The mystery is very well crafted and keeps you guessing. Megan risked a lot to figure out who pushed Madison off the lighthouse viewing balcony and I would have liked more closure between them after the arrests of the guilty parties. This was an enjoyable book and peaked my interest in finding out how the series began.

Megan and Santiago are on Sheepherder's Island for a lighthouse tour. They are in the lodge when they hear a scream. Megan takes off running and finds Madison, a woman she had met a short while ago, lying on the ground under the lighthouse balcony. Thus begins the journey to find the guilty party. This story has action, danger, and romance, ending with a surprise. Very highly recommended.

Megan is up to the usual, trying to solve another mystery. Very well written storyline that kept me reading far too late. This particular mystery is very intriguing and it is difficult to discern the good guys from the bad. Megan has to trust her instincts and those of Fred. Very enjoyable and entertaining.

love takes a few wrong turns, and so does friendship, as some hidden motives leave conflicting and confusing clues

twisted mysteries and whodunnit- plus some sweet romance, with a lot of awkward and imperfect moments

and of course the fabulous giant dog pal Fred - loyal and brave hearted, if humorously imperfect

This is a great cozy mystery that will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. What starts out as a relaxing fun day for Megan, Sebastian and Fred, the Great Dane turns into another mystery for Megan and Fred to solve. Even though this is book six of the series, it can be read as a stand alone.

A Pawful of Revenge is the next delightful, intriguing, cozy mystery with Megan, Santiago and Fred, Megan’s Great Dane. I always enjoy Ms. London’s books but this series is a favorite. This well plotted book is a twisty, convoluted mystery with some red herrings. There is even government involvement. I could not put the book down until the end!

Megan, Fred, and Santiago are back. This time they are working on a case of a young lady falling from a lighthouse, well, maybe not falling. This cozy mystery is a continuation of the series and a great read.

Good story

Good series. I read this one while preparing and recovering from surgery. It's the only thing that would take my mind off my medical issues.
